"Noparvar, who creates social media videos under his handle @how.kev.eats, can change the fortune of a restaurant overnight with a minute-long video. Since posting positive reviews of Easy Street Burgers in Studio City and South Philly Experience on West Pico Boulevard, both restaurants have drawn steady crowds." - Cathy Chaplin

"When people think of great cheesesteaks, they usually don't think LA. But this casual takeout spot on West Pico should change all that. Started as a food truck, this shop is now a full-blown cheesesteak hub run by a family who grew up in New Jersey across the bridge from South Philadelphia. The sandwiches come filled with razor-thin slices of beef that melt into a savory blend of grilled onions and Cheez Wiz. Each roll is a soft and chewy vessel, baked fresh and flown in from a local bakery in Philly. We’re considering writing the owners a love letter (or at least a Megan Thee Stallion-esque verse) to express our gratitude." - Nikko Duren

Google
Good-tasting food. The owner and staff were personable and friendly. I got the original cheesesteak with white American cheese and half sweet and half hot peppers. It was flavorful, cheesy, and spicy. The fried ravioli are good and come with plenty of red sauce. The cheesesteak fries my friend got were good, but the cheese whiz wasn’t evenly applied. It is noteworthy that this is not the best neighborhood in LA, and most of the seating is on the sidewalk. Depending on who you are and when you want to go, it may be better to order takeaway

Google
We tried this little family owned place and it did not disappoint! We got the Cantrell Street Italian Hoagie, Bacon Whiz Fries, Banana cheesecake and two of their specialty drinks. The food was so good and the service was amazing! They were some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. We will definitely be going back to try a Philly and would definitely recommend this place!

Google
Best cheesesteak in LA IMO. I love how they have mayo and ketchup available in packets. Tender meat and lots of it. Service was fast and friendly. The only thing is nowhere to eat inside. I highly recommend this place for the steaks I'll try something else next time too.

P. Fauntleroy

Google
As far as Los Angeles goes some of the BEST cheesesteaks that I’ve had outside of Philly. Love the owners and the staff there too. Family-run and quality food!

Google
It's rather difficult to find anything east coast in this city, but this place hits the mark. When I researched and saw Philly cheesesteak I thought to myself, if there isn't whiz I ain't doing it. Then I saw whiz on the online menu and decided to make the trip. South Philly Experience showed out with a delicious Philly cheesesteak and house made sodas. The buffalo fries are excellent and plenty of it. My friend and I shared an order of fries and couldn't finish it all even sharing, however the sandwiches are too good to share and we each had our own. To add to the east coast legitimacy of it all the proprietor even came out to check on us and talk a bit of baseball. I give this place a home run!

Google
THE BEST PHILLY CHEESESTEAKS - PERIOD. I grew up in Delaware county and confidently state that these steaks are incredible. The team created such a warm, family environment - probably because they are all family! Go support them. Great people serving even better food. PS - also some of the freshest and healthiest buffalo wings in the city.

Google
I truly enjoyed the classic cheesesteak pizza steak and Italian steak they were delicious juicy spicy and cheesy and meaty😋💯

Slick Rick

Google
The people weren't lying when they said this was the best philly cheese steak. Finally got a chance to try it and was not disappointed. The staff was great and very welcoming, kinda makes you feel like walking into the Cheers bar (hahaha). Thanks again guys keep up the great service and food.

Yelp
I never really write reviews but I had to with this place. First off the food was AMAZING. Best sandwich's I've had in a WHILE. I got the cheese steak with prov, cherry peppers and onion along with a side of fry's. I'd also recommend the wings and the chicken ala vodka sandwich. Delicious! And the hospitality of the staff was by far the best I've experienced. Very inviting people that can put a smile on your face even on a rainy day. Check this place out guys, it won't disappoint!

Nancy B.

Yelp
I rarely give 5 stars unless I'm like blown away. And this was amazing! My husband and I went to Philadelphia and ate at some of the most popular cheesesteak places and non even came close to how good south Philly experience is. I got the regular cheesesteak with cheese and grilled onion and the bread was so soft, the meat quality was good and it was just delicious. My husband got a hoagie on seasame seed roll with hot peppers and veggies. His was A LOT better than mine. The hot peppers give it a kick but it wasn't too spicy at all. I definitely recommend either sandwich. The ship instead is small. It's a to go place only as there's no seating. Call ahead and order as each order takes about 15 minutes. We ate it in the car while it was still hot and fresh and it didn't disappoint. Staff was really friendly. Meter street parking wasn't hard to find on a Wednesday during lunch.

Helen A.

Yelp
I've lived in this neighborhood for ten years, and I finally tried South Philly Experience tonight. It was soooo good and I'm beating myself up for not coming sooner. Grabbed a classic cheesesteak with onions and spicy peppers that was delicious. But the surprise hit was the fried shrimp and fries. It was perfectly fried with light breading. Only downside was that I ordered a side of cheese wiz and it wasn't included in my order.

Irene Q.

Yelp
Called in my order, service was friendly and helpful. Food was ready when I got there. Ordered Italian hoagie with cherry peppers; must get! Street metered parking, small shop but there is seating available to eat in. Love the sandwiches here.

Rachel S.

Yelp
Great Philly cheesecake place in west LA!! My friend was craving this so we hopped in the car to get some for dinner. It was just before 5 so it wasn't super busy yet. Found metered parking right outside. The restaurant was small but really cute - tables outside. Ordered at the counter and they bring out the food to your table. Got the cheesesteak with provolone and onions, no peppers. Got an order of fries. My friend got a chicken sandwich with fries no salt Sandwich was huge as were the fries! I see now why she got no salt, they put a lot of salt. But everything was delicious and filling! Only ate half the sandwich and took the rest home. My friend got the chocolate cake which we shared when we got home. It was delicious! Love this place!

Kyle W.

Yelp
Really good , authentic tasting cheesesteak. Plenty of cheese and grilled onions. Steak is chopped, works really well with cheese. Bread also phenomenal, squishy and absorbs all the juices without falling apart. Will be back

Maura C.

Yelp
This is such a hidden gem in Mid-City that I can't believe more people aren't talking about! The interior of the shop is fairly small and does not have any seating, but there are a few tables outside to enjoy your meal while it's still hot. They have a huge menu of items, most notably their massive sandwiches and fun signature drinks. I got the vodka chicken cutlet sandwich, which involved a fluffy hoagie roll, crispy fried chicken, and a delicious smoky vodka sauce. The employee at the counter was very friendly, and brought our food out in less than 10 minutes which was impressive! Street parking is fairly easy with some metered spots out front and nearby neighborhood streets.

Justin L.

Yelp
Great cheesesteaks and if you're up for it, try the crab french fries. Delicious! The lady who took our order was super friendly and welcoming, making us want to come back again.

Rebecca D.

Yelp
Being from Philly, but having lived in LA for over 20 years now, I have seen a lot of places claim they make a great Philly cheesesteak-to be clear this is not a complicated sandwich. Key ingredients, a great roll quality meat (that is not overcooked or dried out) and the right amount of gooey cheese! Whichever cheese is your preference. (I am not a fan of cheese whiz, but I get the nostalgia) what I don't get is when places automatically put green peppers on the cheesesteak as if that's a thing...It is not a thing! Adding grilled onions, jalapeños, peppers, even turning your cheesesteak into a hoagie to make you feel healthier is all fine, but the cheesesteak should not automatically come with green peppers! It's a telltale sign that they don't know what a Philly cheesesteak is! Now that I'm finished with my lecture, South Philly Experience nailed it! Excellent flavor, not dry, and the role fresh and was filled! The french fries were hot, crispy, and abundant! The only thing that was not Philly style was the super welcoming and friendly service I received!! I have ordered to go a few times, but will be back to dine in as there's plenty of seating outside. Oh and they were super fast even though they were busy.

Michael L.

Yelp
South Philly Experience in Los Angeles is a must visit for any cheesesteak lover! I tried their cheesesteak with provolone, onions, and sweet peppers, and it blew me away. The bread was perfectly soft yet sturdy enough to hold all the delicious fillings, the steak was tender and flavorful, and the sweet peppers added just the right kick. Easily one of the best cheesesteaks in Los Angeles! While I'd still give a slight edge to Matu in Beverly Hills, South Philly Experience comes incredibly close and has earned a spot on my short list of go-to spots. The only downside is the lack of indoor seating, which can be a bit of a bummer when the weather's cold, but honestly, the food makes up for it. If you're craving an authentic, satisfying cheesesteak, this is the place to go. I'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

Reese M.

Yelp
A piece of Philly in LA. South Philly Experience is definitely the best cheesesteak you're gonna get in Cali...period. My go to has been the cheesesteak with provolone. Very classic yet delish. Full of meat and soft bread. I love it! Service is friendly. I'm definitely rooting for this mom and pop spot. I love their story from starting from a food truck to now a brick and mortar store.

Vito K.

Yelp
Had to pull up and show some East Coast love! Crazy to learn from Gabby that they've been there for years and I'm just finding them. Had a tough decision to make on which sandwich I wanted to be my first try, but I settled on the very good vodka sauce chicken parm. I can't get many decent chicken parm sandwiches out here in LA. But for a few minutes while enjoying it, I felt like I was back in New York! Definitely recommend for a good sandwich. I'll definitely be back soon, this time with my wife and kids. Good and friendly customer service as well, can't leave that out. Good customer service always brings me back.

Anthony Ramierz R.

Yelp
Honestly don't understand the hype surrounding this place. I'm starting to think the food influencers who reviewed it were paid, because it definitely didn't live up to expectations. I had high hopes, which might have influenced my opinion, but it just wasn't that great. I tried the Philly sandwich, and to be honest, it wasn't worth the buzz. The only positive aspect was the service; the owners were really nice and polite. The ambiance was cool, with seating outside, and there was parking available both in front and on the side streets. I genuinely wanted to like this place, but it ended up being a letdown. The food just didn't impress me, despite all the hype."

Marc R.

Yelp
I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak with white American cheese and the included onions. I added mushrooms for $1 along with banana peppers. Man this was easily one of best sandwiches I've had here in LA. This will be in my rotation for sure. All the flavors really come together to make a great sandwich. And the cashiers were really nice.

Erika A.

Yelp
Um helloooo yum! Once again we were out and about and checked the list and decided to come here, yelp even had a star on it on the map so we went for it. The Italian sandwich was soooo good and we added banana peppers and pickles. But of course being the cheesesteak place we had to try out the meat so we got the cheesesteak egg rolls to test that out and wowza! Lovely shaved ribeye and the perfect cheese and other dipping sauce just wow lovely. This is definitely much more than a cheesesteak spot. I can't believe I missed the cream soda treat on the menu will definitely be back to try that and so much more!! Gabby at the front is awesome too. Great work guys. :)

L C.

Yelp
Their cheesesteak is good and they use the right bread. The only complaint is that the sandwich should not cost more than $15. They don't put enough meat on it for it to be $20. In Philly, you can get a cheesesteak packed heavy with meat, onions, and cheese for $10 - $12. The lady at the register is friendly. Each time, she's greeted us with a smile and didn't rush the order.

Foodie G.

Yelp
I wanted to love it.. I stalked them on IG for a while and finally ordered uber eats for delivery first thing in the am.. so I would assume the food would be fresh and delicious.. boy was I wrong!! THEE worse!! Cheesesteak Ive ever had! I may have had a better chance with the beef but I went with the chicken despite the reviews not being as great w the chicken.. dry chunks of chicken breasts.. thank God I asked for mustard or it would have been even worse!! I paid extra for sharp cheddar and mushrooms and got neither so even more tasteless and dry.. asked for onions banana peppers and hot peppers barely any added on the dry chicken.. so basically was a subway mustard and grilled chicken sandwich.. what?!?! what a waste of time and money for me and the driver... if this is how south philly does it, I dont want it!!! Ive been eating Phillys Best chicken or beef cheesesteaks for years and they kill this place on a simple level of creating a basic cheesesteak where you actually chop the meat and its cheesy with great flavors... anyway whatever you do dont get the chicken if you actually want a cheesesteak.. I cant say I will give this place another chance if I have a choice.. no thanks South Philly Experience.. I tried...

Ari G.

Yelp
Considering we live in the valley, I wanted to hate this place and be able to say not worth the hype... and it is. It was worth the hour drive in LA traffic. It was worth the aggravation to get here because omg this was the best cheesesteak I've ever had. The girl at the counter was so sweet, the homemade sodas were such a treat, the cheesesteak was something I'll be craving and no other cheesecake will do and the fried raviolis were amazing! Crispy, not greasy and filled with ricotta. The cheesesteaks are HUGE and stuffed with meat and cheese. (I recommend adding extra cheese but that's just me) One of the best meals I've had in a long time.

Renaldo A.

Yelp
Was recommended this place by a family member. Ordered the Roast pork sandwich ! Delicious

Lisa S.

Yelp
I don't eat beef so I can't speak on the cheesesteaks - I got a chicken parm and it was very good. We also got the fried ravioli but those tasted not like fried pasta

Drew B.

Yelp
Man SPE delivered the Steak! I luv luv luv cheessteaks, but good ones are few and far between in LA. Man South Philly Experience is Great. Had them bookmarked for a while finally made it in. Not quite a hole in the wall but a small shop on Pico , mid city. Splashy, drippy cheese graphics on the building make it easy to spot. Plenty of parking around the corner. Nice girl took my order, hitting the extras like onion and hot peppers. I forgot to say Wit. Older gentleman , owner type thanked me for coming in and delivered my sammy to outside sidewalk tables. I was surprised it seemed big and hefty. My first criticism is usually, could be bigger but not here. Generous size, big fluffy bun and stuffed with well seasoned meat and plenty of provolone and whiz (mandatory!). Mutha was hot and oh soooo satisfying. I wasn't sure if I was going to take it down, damn middle age! Don't worry All Gone. Did have me thinking about another one and surely a next time. $17.50 , $20 after tip solid value.

James S.

Yelp
I'm from Philly and there's hasn't been a good cheesesteak spot out here in LA...south Philly exp is the spot! I got the cheesesteak with provolone and onions and it was made fresh and tasted great! There's plenty of outdoor seating and the staff is super friendly! I will be back to try more of the menu. I felt like I was back home for a bit :)

Lena C.

Yelp
This place makes me want to move back to LA. I found this place online after researching the best place for a Philly cheesesteak. I found another place but South Philly Experience instagram page convinced me to give them a try. They have my type of humor I ordered their Cheese Whiz along with two homemade cream sodas. The orange cream soda was undeniably the best. Every bite was sensational. From the first to the last. I think if I wasn't in public that day, I would have eaten the wrapper as well. The location is a bit small so it is easy to miss but I had a good copilot. I also got lucky and found parking right in front of the spot. The owner (i presume) was there and brought me napkins and was very attentive. The cashier was very polite and recommended the cream sodas. Bring quarters for parking.

Andrea Y.

Yelp
Tried to be adventurous one day and Doordashed from South Philly Experience. The Rib-eye cheesesteak was so juicy, delicious and flavorful. The amount of meat they put in the sandwiches were generous. We also tried the whiz fries and it was really good. I didn't enjoy the fried raviolis with spicy vodka sauce on the side as much though - it lacked flavor and the outside coating is a little overpowering to my liking. But I will definitely be back for their cheesesteaks!

Derek L.

Yelp
Yoooooo! Today is National Cheesesteak day so I decided that I had to eat one! I've always gone to Boo's, which is great, but this time I wanted to try something else. Found this place through a yelp search. I couldn't believe I've never seen it before as I live somewhat close and drive through this area all the time. I had no idea! Anyways, thanks yelp, because I did find South Philly Experience. I'm so glad I did! The location is really cool looking with great artwork on the exterior. They have tables set up on the sidewalk out front if you decided to eat there. I walked in to place a carryout order. Immediately I was greeted by a nice man and younger woman. They welcomed me and helped make recommendations for my order. They were so friendly. I even called my wife just to tell them how I've never been to a restaurant that had this cool of people operating it. Felt like home :) Anyways, got home and the food was amazing!!! I ordered the cheesesteak with American cheese and another with wizz that me and my wife shared. Both were fantastic. The bread was perfect and the amount of steak was overboard! Love this place! Will definitely be a repeat customer. These guys are crushing the cheesesteak game!

Porshia G.

Yelp
Extremely delicious, sweet customer service. Love Love Love!! The custom juice is delicious reminds me of ice cream.

Erik L.

Yelp
If you're looking for a Pat's or Geno's, then this is not really the place...it's better. This reminds me of Delassandro's in Philly, which I think is one of the best cheesesteak places in Philly. I lived in Philly for more than 30 years and I got cheesesteaks like every other week and I was really looking for a real Philly steak since I moved to LA. South Philly Experience tastes authentic. They chop up their meat a bit finer than most of what I've had in the past. It fills up the Amoroso bun (which is the best bun for a cheesesteak). They give a generous portion of meat, and everything worked well in unison. I got the provolone which is to me a safer choice than Cheese Whiz (which in my experience is a hit or miss - it depends on what cheese whiz they're using, whether the factory mixed the whiz right for that particular jar/can, your taste buds that day, how much they slather whiz on there aka ratios...it can be great or it can make the sandwich overwhelmingly salty and artificial if there's too much). Sliced cheese rarely disappoints. They also had hot pepper relish! You have to get this on the side. If they have hot cherry peppers, then that would be golden, but I forgot to ask. Their fries are almost indistinguishable to McDonald's fries to me. I love that. Not much else to say. Great place. Will definitely come back to this spot if I'm in the area.

Michelle L.

Yelp
I came here around August 22 (my review is overdue but I haven't forgotten about leaving a review for this delicious place!) looking for a really bomb Philly cheesesteak since I was very sad about my favorite cheesesteak place near me shutting down (Philly Jay, I still love and miss your cheesesteaks and still regret not going more often!) and oh my god this place delivered what I wished for as a new alternative. I would say next to Philly Jay's that this was also amongst the very best cheesesteaks I have eaten in my entire life. It is juicy, tender, and oozing in between the meat juices with cheese whiz. I got the Whiz cheesesteak with onions, and also ordered the fried ravioli (love this as a side too and you've got to have it with the sauces) and boneless wings. I will say that I was not as used to the boneless wings to be honest since the flavor had more of a tangier/sweeter aftertaste than what I was used to compared to traditional buffalo wings and the texture could have been a little better, BUT the fried ravioli was a wonderful addition and last but not least the most important star of it all (the cheesesteak) is DELICIOUS. They also have snacks and drinks that are usually only found amongst native Philly stores, I tried the Herr's horseradish chips per Gabby and another customers recommendation when I was there, and Wow!! The horseradish chips as a side to all of those things just topped it all off and really can't find that kind of specific flavor anywhere else. I felt like I had a true delicious Philly lunch experience and the only thing I was missing was one of the Hanks sodas (also known to Philly). I got to meet Gabby and her father Tom (this is a family owned business) who were both so nice and I am so glad I drove all that way out that day to try this. It was completely worth it and I would and will do it all over again. Gabby's mom also makes these delicious pies and baked pastries that are sold there as well so I'll definitely have to try that sometime as well when I decide to break my resistance to sugar :P Gabby and Tom thank you for delivering a delicious, satisfying, and pleasant experience. I will definitely be back again for more :)

Abou K.

Yelp
The most authentic philly I've been able to find on the west coast, hands down. Would recommend their traditional philly and their crab fries (made with REAL crab). The service is fast and the food is very well priced. There is not much seating but there are some indoor and outdoor spots. I personally always get takeout.

Mandy B.

Yelp
I am in love with this place for sure! I saw it on Instagram one day and knew that I needed to go check it out because I've been craving and trying to find the best Philly cheesesteak around LA! And this is the one for sure. It was only about 8 minutes from my yoga studio so I went over there and holy heck I was not disappointed! I added extra mushrooms and onions and got the cheese whiz. The owner was there with his daughter and they were super nice and helpful, such a good vibe they just seem like all around great people. I love that. It's a family owned business and they're sticking to their roots of Philly! Go get these sandwiches and support these people amazing amazing people and amazingly delicious food! I can't say enough about how nice they are and how yummy the food was!!

Keyva C.

Yelp
I was looking for a good hot sandwich and I knew I wanted something with lots of cheese and onions. Decided to give South Philly Experience a try and it was definitely worth it. So I've had a cheesesteak before in Philly and this was definitely giving that. The service was really nice, the man who was helping in the front was very nice and friendly. I liked that they had a few tables outside and I would definitely next time eat there but I can say I picked up my food and when I got home it was still hot hot!

Andrew T.

Yelp
Visiting from Philly and I'm going to say it - best cheesesteak I've had. It was so good. I got the Cheesesteak and the Cantrell Street Italian Hoagie, the Strawberry Dream drink, and the Cheesesteak Egg Rolls. I would recommend all of the items I got - all SOO good. The hospitality was great here as well, was greeted by the owner and spoke a little bit about Philly with him. Another great thing that I wanted to point out was that they carry Herr's chips!!! If you've never had it, it's a MUST try since these chips are primarily sold in the tri-state area by Philly. Honestly, next time I come to LA, I'll definitely be stopping by!

Jason M.

Yelp
First time here, let's see what it's all about. It was not bad & I normally get my cheesesteak with American cheese but I opted to get provolone this time & let's just say I will stick to American cheese. So with that said I will give it another try but with American cheese next time, other than that service was great.

Chris M.

Yelp
Philly cheese steak by FAR good!!! Ordered one then ordered another! Ask for peppers on the side! Fries are crispy too! Buffalo chicken sandwich a 5 Steak sandwich a 10!

Erica S.

Yelp
As an east coast native, this was not the best Philly cheesesteak I've ever had. I ended up giving it away. The crab fries sounded like a good idea, but it didn't taste complete, it was missing something like a lemon aioli. I've had better elsewhere.

Terrance L.

Yelp
Excellent staff!! I got the cheesesteak hoagie! 10/10 I will be coming back! Love the paint job inside too. I am weird. I love art. So I like seeing companies take the time out to put up their own art.

King K.

Yelp
Place absolutely smacks When you're out with your friends and you're having fun highly recommend everybody to grab the cheese steak with extra grilled onions

Catherine C.

Yelp
This was our go to place if my husband and I were craving philly cheesesteak and I would get the philly cheesesteak fries!!! Service was exceptional whether it's a phone order or in person!

Nick K.

Yelp
Best cheesesteak in LA hands down. Very friendly staff. Cool but small indoor space with lots of outdoor seating. Food came out quickly. Will be back soon!

Darrell J.

Yelp
The food met the hype I had the chicken Philly my wife had the steak we complimented each other on both it' was hot and the bomb

Havana M.

Yelp
This is the kind of mom n pop shop you wanna root for. The mom is hard working and the daughter is so personable. Hospitality must be in their family line or they're just soooo good at it. But the food is crazy expensive and not good. We tried the classic Philly. I made the mistake of adding cheese wiz and sweet peppers. It was plain gross and was tossed out. We also ordered the cold cut Italian one and although it was edible, I would not eat it again if you paid me. Not only was the ratio of bread to meat unfavorable but it was not fresh or delicious. The fried ravioli was basic and unimpressive. Would absolutely not eat here again. I noticed two LAPD patrol cars stoped by for food and I felt bad that is the fuel our LA's finest is running on. There is no indoor seating. There is some parking to the east of the restaurant. They are so busy with Uber/ Grub Hub deliveries. I wanted to love it but two thumbs down for food. This was my personal experience Nov 2024

Brenda P.

Yelp
So delicious friendly service great experience. I bought two sandwiches can't make up my mind which one I love the best but they both are very good. Philly cheesesteaks sandwich and the turkey hoagie both excellent.

David M.

Yelp
Excellent authentic Philly steaks and hoagies. Like I'm back there tbh. Gabby and Nadine are the absolute best . Gotta come in an check it out . You will love it.

Danny S.

Yelp
Food , service, and people are the best . I am from east coast and the sandwich's are amazing. Price is reasonable for how big the sandwiches are. If you're close or far it is worth the trip. Family owned restaurants are always great. Love this place..

Cindy C.

Yelp
just super wow! this is the 2 nd cheesesteak I have tried and this is just amazing. it is so good and put the last cheesesteak I tried back a level. the meat was thin, cooked perfectly, the cheese was cheesing, the bread was soft and delicious, and omg the fries were so good, salty n perfectly crispy. I officially love Philly cheese steaks, the young lady working there was so nice and helpful. we had some cream sodas after our meal and just wow, they are so good. so sad that I don't actually too near here but I will definitely be back soon and I need to try everything here. just so delicious! iamhooked! Nothing makes me happier than trying a new place and being blown away by how great it is! Thank you!!

Lucas D.

Yelp
Nice Philly cheese steak. Staff went out of their way to make sure things were good. Large portion of fries. Would recommend.

Bruce N.

Yelp
Look out Boo..there is a first class challenger off of Pico and Hauser Run by a father daughter team in the old Sky taco space, this place whips up a wonderful cheese steak with wiz cheese, what else, ( your can use a different cheese but to me wiz makes the sandwhich) peppers, onions, mushrooms etc They are very personable, solicitous..check them out

A A.

Yelp
Absolutely DELICIOUS. I haven't a Philly cheessteak this DELICIOUS in years. The bread melted in your mouth. The cheese WHIZ omg I was beyond happy to see this available. I don't like how places use provolone cheese. Generous portions definitely worth every dollar spent and worth the drive from the IE. The owner mother & father are GEMS. Their customer service and hospitality top notch. I highly recommend

Yelp
This is my native neighborhood born & raised my best friends love this local neighborhood philly sandwich shop customer service was excellent very detailed most of the customers l saw in the shop we're black people originally from the neighborhood it was super surprising to see how loving the service was to the black natives it was extremely busy the service was fast. A lot of black men said it was a 10 & are regular customers supporting the shop my niece said she love the specialty drink about $7-10 it's fairly expensive for to go spot as expensive as a restaurant l hope they continue to have great food & excellent customer service to the black loyal customers
