We are a farm-based resort project nestled between Franklin and Leipers Fork in Middle Tennessee.
"Southall Farm & Inn down in Franklin has finally unveiled its signature restaurant: January. Executive chef Andrew Klamar (who formerly worked alongside chef Sean Brock at Charleston’s McCrady’s) pulls from the seasonal bounty around the resort to inform his menu, which includes internationally-influenced dishes like hamachi crudo and beet escabeche with pickled dates and goat feta. But the proteins are the star of this airy, high-ceilinged dining room, with a coppa steak (pork shoulder) that’s been brined for two weeks and a duck confit and breast served with blueberry preserves and sunchoke as accompaniments." - Jackie Gutierrez-Jones, Eater Staff
"This inn and working farm offers first-class dining, cozy rooms, and unique experiences like falconry and southern honey tasting." - Delia Jo
"For a longer trip, stay overnight at the gorgeous Southall Farm & Inn, which opened in late 2022." - Travel + Leisure Editors
"Franklin’s bucolic working farm/luxury resort, Southall Farm & Inn, is hosting the winter edition of its Aglow: Candlelight Dinner series this Saturday, December 16 at 6:30 p.m.. Held in the property’s Orchard Event Center, the family-style, multi-course dinner will showcase winter produce and the resort’s in-house preservation techniques. Tickets are $220 per person inclusive of the meal, beverages, taxes, and gratuity. You can also opt to make it an overnight experience — room rates are $399 per night with a dinner ticket purchase. Reservations can be made here." - Jackie Gutierrez-Jones
"Southall Farm and Inn feels all of the 25 miles away from the hubbub of Nashville’s neon-lit honkytonk scene. In fact, its 325 acres feel like a different world entirely. This bucolic setting is a sustainable oasis designed for your resort-style immersion experience. You’ll abandon your car on arrival and instead get around on foot, bike, ATV, or by staff-driven golf cart, allowing you to explore the property at a leisurely pace. Soak in the plunge pool, get centered in a sound bath, take the kids for a zipline, eat s’mores on the deck of your cottage, and never once leave the property. (Although, if you choose to, historic downtown Franklin is less than four miles away.) Amenities are designed to make the most of the land and preserve its natural beauty. Take time to notice the details, such as custom wallpaper, glazed clay plates, and freshly cut flowers." - Margaret Littman
