Ambience and front of the house was promising.
Our table had the crab cake, fried chicken, red velvet waffle, eggs, oysters, lobster bisque, chicken pasta, and Short Rib Benedict.
The oysters and crab cake were good. Everything else was ok and took quite a bit of time to make it to the table. Our glasses were often empty and we went noticeable periods of time with no service.
I’d love to go back and sit at the bar. This time with a little hot sauce, salt, and pepper in my bag.
Hoping they can work out the kinks because the restaurant is beautiful and much needed in the south loop.
Update: I went back and my second experience was much better. Great drinks, server, and food.
I still believe they should put some salt & pepper on the table, and some crisp on the Brussels, but overall a better experience worth supporting
