The San Francisco and East Bay Matcha Map

"This national chain originated in Canada, providing very bright and clean spaces with good customer service at three locations in the city. Three straight matcha options are always on the menu, as well as a couple of rotating matcha choices. And if you fall for the extra fine premium grand cru matcha powder or matcha matsu for shakes and smoothies, you can buy a canister for home." - Laurie Jo Miller Farr, Janelle Bitker

San Francisco’s Best Places to Eat and Drink During the Super Bowl

"Souvla, a fast-casual Greek restaurant, boasts four locations in SF, but that doesn’t matter right now, as their SouvlaBowl Wings — a Super Bowl Sunday-only dish of feta-brined wings tossed in Souvla wing sauce and served with a side of Souvla hot sauce and Greek cheese dip — is only available through delivery service Caviar. The wings are $13 per dozen, with a one dozen minimum required for purchase." - Eve Batey

Souvla Review - Marina - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"Even though it seems like Souvla was invented for the Marina, this is the chain’s first location in the neighborhood. If you've been to another Souvla, you already know what to expect - great lamb wraps, chicken salads, and greek yogurt soft serve that you can take to go. If you need something else to round out your meal, you could get the fries, but they’re nowhere near as good as the potatoes that are roasted in the rotisserie meat drippings." - Will Kamensky

A modern Greek gem with soul and simplicity Souvla is one of those places that makes you appreciate how beautifully uncomplicated food can be when done right. Tucked into the heart of San Francisco, this modern Greek eatery delivers fresh, flavorful, and well-balanced dishes in a relaxed and friendly setting. The menu is straightforward, but every item feels intentional. I had the lamb wrap, which was tender, juicy, and perfectly complemented by crunchy radish, fresh greens, and a sprinkle of cheese — all wrapped in soft, warm pita. It was one of those dishes that looks modest but leaves you fully satisfied. The accompanying salad was crisp and bright, with a lovely balance of herbs, feta, and light vinaigrette. The space itself is casual but inviting, with plenty of sunlight and a clean design that feels distinctly Californian with Mediterranean heart. What surprised me most was dessert — the Greek frozen yogurt is a must-try. I had one topped with sour cherry syrup, and it was incredible: tangy, creamy, and refreshing. My friend went for the honey drizzle, and it was equally delicious. Their wine list is thoughtfully curated, and a glass of white paired perfectly with the meal. Service was fast, kind, and helpful without hovering — exactly what you want for a casual night out or relaxed lunch. Souvla strikes a rare balance: fast-casual ease with full-bodied flavor and care. A San Francisco favorite I’ll absolutely be returning to.

Google
Really friendly service. Lamb salad is pleasantly gamey. Pork sandwich is tasty and full of fresh vegetables. Avgolemono soup is like a really lemony rice porridge with chicken. A little odd but pretty good. Greek yogurt with cherry syrup and baklava is perfect for any time of day/year/season in my opinion.

Google
Souvla is fine if you’re looking for a quick, healthy-ish meal, but it didn’t wow me. The food is decent, but it lacks the depth of flavor and authenticity I was hoping for. It’s worth a try if you’re in the area, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

George Adaimi

Google
We had the chicken and vegetable salad at Souvla. The veg salad was delicious, and the dressing was on point! However, the chicken had an odd smell, and I couldn’t finish my bowl. On the bright side, make sure to try the frozen yogurt; it’s a must!

Flawnson Tong

Google
Amazing Greek food served in a beautiful Mediterranean inspired interior. The chicken really benefits from the brine and becomes tender and juicy. The fries are thick cut and a perfect side. The salad is also a hit; perfectly balanced the toppings and just enough dressing. Highlight was sitting right in front of a spot where the pork and lamb were roasting.

Google
Though the presentation was on point, the chicken sandwich missed the mark, dry, under-seasoned, and lacking the bold flavor we hoped for. We came craving a classic, elevated twist on Nick the Greek but left underwhelmed. Even the garlic sauce lacked punch. Ironically, the standout was the fries… and that says something.

Google
We stopped to get the Greek frozen yogurt with baklava and honey, which was excellent! But all of the food we saw being delivered to tables looked incredibly fresh and delicious. We're going to go back. Indoor and outdoor seating, super friendly staff.

Google
Food was average. I had freebird all natural chicken salad. The salad had few pieces of chicken compared to the price. It was full of radish which was not mentioned in the description. I loved the Greek fries. Also, I tried the frozen Greek yogurt with baklava crumbles. It was good. After stepping out of the place , immediately I remember that I forgot my water bottle inside. I went back inside and saw already the table is cleaned. So I asked the young lady at the register about it. Alas, she doesn’t understand English at all. She politely kept saying “yes” and “no problem" without understanding what I’m saying. She spoke with another server to talk with me. But that person only knows how to say “yes-yes” no matter what I am saying. One point I have realized that it’s useless to explain the situation. So I gave up

Yelp
first time at the marina location and it was popping on a friday night! all seats inside and outside were full, and the pickup/ takeout line was long. seating was self-serve, but we were lucky to snag some seats after just a few minutes of waiting. I think the ambiance here is slightly nicer than other locations. food-wise, we tried: - pork shoulder sandwich ($15) - half rotisserie chicken ($25) - greek fries ($5) - lemon soda ($4) - cretan wildflower honey frozen yogurt ($6) - pride froyo special ($8) the chicken was pretty juicy inside and had a crispy skin, which was nice. the fro yo was delicious as usual!

Yelp
Came here on a warmer day in the city and there was a long line out the door, but most were takeout orders. The menu is quite simple but you're free to customize the items with a different dressing etc. We ordered the frozen yogurt with our other food but we asked to get it later when we were about to leave so it wouldn't melt. The cashier was nice to even let us try the flavors! The portions are quite sizeable and you can taste there is quality in the ingredients. The salad had great flavor and was very refreshing. The pita wrap with the chicken had a lighter flavor, but was still good. The meat was tender in both. Fries were crispy and fresh (we didn't get a sauce though, but I would recommend it). We used the hot sauce on the table. Our frozen yogurt seemed a bit small for the price but was delicious.

Yelp
Love Love Love Souvla! The service always wows me every time and I still love that they have actual candles here! It really adds to the ambiance and makes it feel like you are at a cozy and nice sit down restaurant. I always get the Avgolemono soup and some fries and its the perfect small meal after having a large lunch. I also love the greek frozen yogurt. The sour cherry was pretty good but my go to is 100% the cretan wildflower honey frozen yogurt. Highly recommend Souvla!!

Yelp
I got a chicken wrap to go and it was so tasty! Not the standard tzatziki sauce I've come to expect from most Greek places. Fries were fantastic too, crispy and covered with crumbled feta. Would definitely come back!

Yelp
Souvla does both food and ambiance very well. The food was delicious, and I actually appreciate how simple the menu is. It's in a very nice neighborhood, which made the outdoor seating very enjoyable. It was a little confusing whether we bus our own dishes, and a waiter told us to just leave them.
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely love Souvla! I always order the chicken salad - the navel orange and mizithra cheese toppings are a delicious touch. I also never leave without the frozen greek yogurt topped with wildflower honey. Sometimes I make trips solely for the yogurt!

Yelp
I was excited to try the seasonal spiced cauliflower salad from your app! I'm obsessed with this vegan option and hope you continue to keep it on the menu! Delicious, fresh ingredients and very satisfying! Best salads and pitas in the city. Recommend getting your salad greek style w/ a side of their house hot sauce. Veg salad and chicken salad are favorites too!

Yelp
Good portion sizes and the staff was very nice! It is in a great location to pick up and then head to the Palace of Fine Arts for an afternoon picnic. I found that their veggie option, the roasted white sweet potato wrap, had a good range of textures but more olives than were necessary. We also got two greek yogurts: the greek olive oil & flaky sea salt as well as the baklava crumbles and honey syrup. The baklava one was fantastic, but the olive oil yogurt was not sweet enough for my liking.

Yelp
Wow can I just say I loved this restaurant. I have been waiting for this meal all week, and it's been a long week. The ambiance was so good, vibes were top tier. I will be back. Thanks!

Yelp
A staple of San Francisco's healthy food iconic restaurants- Souvla has great salad bowls and wraps- a Mediterranean centered cuisine for quick service and good quality food. The rotisserie chicken is so soft and juicy, the melt in your mouth kind of chicken. They have two options with each protein- a salad or wrap- both equally as good depending on what you are craving. Plenty of flavor and packed portions. A nice easy quick lunch or dinner to pick up and take for a picnic. They also have casual seating inside and outside to enjoy your meal if you opt for sitting in. The greek yogurt sauces and fries are also great- highly recommended. And if your a fan of tart/greek yogurt flavors then try the greek yogurt soft serve- not too sweet but with the toppings (like the baklava) to sweeten up for more of a sweet dessert. Great go-to for a quick, healthy meal.

Yelp
Must try SF spot. Their frozen Greek yogurt with baklava is to die for - so perfectly balanced with tart yogurt and sweet crunchy baklava with honey. Their meals are also fresh and very flavorful! I always go here when I'm in the Fillmore area.

Yelp
After walking around without a reservation in the cold on a Friday night in January, we came across Souvla. Brilliant. It's just got a basic menu with only a few choices. I went with the veggie option and made it a salad. He had the lamb sandwich. You can choose salad or sandwich. Salad is a dollar more for each choice. There's also a vegan lamb upsell for $2.00 more than lamb. There's lots of wine options in glass and bottle and they're all Greek. There's one beer option which is also Greek. We also had the Greek fries. There's a $1.00 per dip upsell for each dip. There's no free ketchup or dip so just plan on that because the Greek fries are pretty low key boring. We had the granch. Pretty good. Then I had the frozen soft serve yogurt with salt and olive oil. I loved it. He didn't like the olive oil all was pooled on the bottom. It's basically fast Greek food. It's good. We found an indoor spot at one of their shared communal tables. They cleared the table and brought us a box to put left overs in. Nice job. Just taking a star off because the salad was a bit salty and they charged for dip.

Yelp
I have so much love for Souvla. They always deliver when it comes to taste, quality, and consistency. If I'm ever in the mood for delivery - I love to order their salads (all of them are on point) - and/or just sides of their meat options (the chicken and/or lamb). Back in the day - if it was a cold night - I would even cook up their salads for a , warming and nourishing meal. I appreciate that Souvla uses Freebird Natural Chicken, Thomas Farms Lamb, a soy free - Black Sheep Plant-Based Lamb, as well as using olive oil as their main cooking oil. They have a commitment to providing their customers with quality ingredients - and you can taste it. Souvla knows what's up - and they've stuck with it. There is a reason that they've expanded throughout the Bay Area - it's because they offer a simple menu - that is affordable, well sourced, and made with love. You really can't go wrong with anything on their menu - from their Greek fries, to their juicy potatoes, to their swoon worthy sandwiches, their fresh salads, and of course - their creamy frozen yogurt - they got you covered. My husband is a huge fan of their frozen yogurt topped with Greek olive oil & flaky sea salt and/or their frozen yogurt topped with their baklava crumbles & honey syrup. If you're looking for a healthy - satisfying meal - whether you plan to eat it here or get delivery - Souvla is your spot. Trust

Yelp
I 've visited SF several times and each time I try to make a stop over to Souvla, they serve Mediterranean style wraps, bowls and salads and every time I've gone there the service has been quick and the food has been great. They rotisserie chicken is juicy and flavorful and their salad are decent size meals. The venue is small so get ready to be cozy with some strangers. There are only a few high top tables in the restaurant but you'll be fine if you're doing a grab and go or if you don't mind being close to others. Overall, if you like Mediterranean flavors, Souvla will hit the spot. It's a casual dining affair with reasonable prices and decent portions. Honestly, what else can you ask for in this economy.

Yelp
I love souvla and always recommend it to visiting friends, but today left a sour taste in my mouth. I arrived around lunch time and was surprised to see no line. We ordered a chicken salad, lamb sandwich, and half chicken w/ juicy potatoes to go. Food came out decently fast, but I was surprised to see 0 utensils in the bag. I asked the employee who brought my order out for some utensils and she hesitantly said ok. When I clarified and asked if I can have 3 or 4 (I was with my sister, but we ordered food for my husband and toddler who were waiting in the car), that's when she said she would need to charge me extra and took out the credit card reader. I was annoyed because the employee who took my order never asked me if I needed/wanted utensils even tho it was a to go order/warn me of a charge. We ordered a salad and half chicken (which serves 2)! How do they expect people to eat this without utensils!?! Felt stingy of them to say they would need to charge me for any sets more than 2 that she can "comp". Despite the service, food was good. The lamb was a little tough and juicy potatoes were really oily. I'll be back for the chicken salad though

Yelp
I got a TO GO order and I asked for a plastic fork & was told I'd have to go back in to pay .25 for one.......

Yelp
Terrible service here. Food is gross & they nickel & dime you at this location! We ordered over $200 worth of food asked for plastic utensils & they wanted to charge us. The most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Ordered the fries w/ the harissa sauce for an additional $1 they brought the side of harissa with the tasteless chicken gyro & the fries came out late. Not knowing where my sauce went when I asked for my side of sauce they said they already gave it to us. These cheap workers couldn't even spare some extra sauce! It's just a terrible place to spend your money. Go elsewhere where because there are lots of better restaurants on chestnut street for you to enjoy! Don't go to a location where they give you terrible, tasteless food & try to extort customers. If can't afford to stay open & serve people a proper meal then you have no business being open to the public! Terrible service here. Food is gross & they nickel & dime you at this location! Yelp
This guy lace is located in the Marina. Several restaurants and bars. Close to Chrissy field and Palace of Fine Arts. I've been here several times. The service is good and they have indoor & outdoor dining. I normally get either the chicken salad, veggie salad, Greek fries, avgolemono soup, and/or sour cherry frozen yogurt. I wish I lived closer because I'd probably get their Sour Cherry froyo everyday! It's that good.
google avatar

Helena G.

Yelp
This is my first time going to Souvla to try their food. Typically, I'll go solely for the frozen yogurt, absolutely get the baklava crumble and honey greek frozen yogurt for some ~~healthy dessert! The food isn't mind-blowing by any means but always a solid option for something quick and casual. I did enjoy their chicken salad, the chicken was warm, the navel oranges were a lovely touch of citrus, and a good mix of vegetables.
google avatar

Tamara A.

Yelp
I was just wandering down Chestnut looking for something to have for lunch that wasn't a sandwich and I saw this place. I got the chicken salad and it was a delicious. I thought there was a good amount of chicken on it and the salad was a good size. Enjoyed sitting my the rotisserie on a chilly rainy day!
google avatar

Yelp
Souvla is a spot that offers a choice between salads and wraps. I went for the wrap while my friends opted for salads, and I must say, the salad FEELS much more loaded with toppings (not too sure if it is more meat than the wrap) The lamb in my wrap was beautifully marinated, complemented perfectly by the harissa spread. The addition of pickled onions, nuts, seeds, and cucumbers added a fantastic crunch to each bite. I did feel that sometimes the food could be a bit salty. Another excellent note was the hot sauce provided on the tables, my friends said it somewhat reminded them of Taco Bell mild sauce (which is excellent!) The ambiance is charming, though it can get a bit warm inside (or maybe it felt warm because of the rotating chickens on display) Seating is limited to only 3-4 tables, so plan accordingly.
google avatar

Sheridan M.

Yelp
Souvla is a great quick service Greek restaurant. The best part is that they have multiple locations around the city. I liked that they had indoor and outdoor seating at this location. We got the pork souvlaki and the vegetarian one. The vegetarian is unique, as neither of us had seen white yam as the primary ingredient in a vegetarian souvlaki. Both of our meals were incredibly tasty and devoured in minutes. Our food came quickly as well. Try the Greek fries with the "Granch", I would come back for those alone.
google avatar

Alexander H.

Yelp
Great salad, good portion. Service is order at counter, they'll bring it to ya. Ambiance was nice inside, they also have outdoor seating.
google avatar

Phoebe W.

Yelp
I've had Souvla before but at different locations but for sure this was definitely their best location! The service was so nice. Everyone was very attentive and kind. I had ordered the sodas as drinks and they were quite good and come in cute bottles. Furthermore, we ordered the chicken which came with a side of fries as well as the pita bread. Really loved the chicken as it was not dry at all! And the skin was crispy
google avatar

Wilson J.

Yelp
I needed something to eat while taking my Dog for a walk, and I thought I try this spot out and give it a Quick review, place was empty, but I know it gets a lot of service cause I see lots of people all the time with SOUVLA product. The fries are better than many places.
google avatar

Adam M.

Yelp
We've been coming to Souvla for a long time now, both before and after my wife and i visited Greece together (if that's any context...). The gyros (remember to ask for Greek style for added fries) are delicious. I typically get the Lamb and, let me just say, they definitely are on par with the real thing! We always get an extra side of fries and my wife frequently comes here just for the sour cherry Greek yogurt (in her mind on par with salt and straw). It's a nice vibe with indoor and outdoor seating (though a bit tight inside). Service is always so kind!
google avatar

Abigail A.

Yelp
Went to Souvla and got the pork salad. It was divine. It was recommended to me by the staff not what I usually would have ordered. I think about it all the time now because it was so good. The frozen yogurt was also super good. I recommend getting the cherry syrup with the baklava crumbles. Sometimes I like to go there to get just the yogurt as a sweet treat. It's really not too heavy and perfect on a hot day. The ambiance is fast casual but also nice to eat there with a glass of wine.
google avatar

Corina D.

Yelp
Been wanting to try Souvla for years and finally got around to it this week when I was up in the Marina. I wanted to check if it lived up to its hype in SF and can confirm it does. I ordered the rotisserie chicken salad, and it was mouthwatering. Definitely one of the best salads I've ever had, as all the ingredients were fresh. I literally watched the rotisserie chickens spin on their racks cooking as I ate. The other items I got, seasoned fries and honey baklava yogurt, were also quite good. The service was friendly and efficient, and this location overall had a very nice vibe and was very clean. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Danielle Y.

Yelp
Cute little spot for some takeout Greek sandwiches on a pita bread. The chicken amount was generous and filling I especially like the orange toppings. I thought that was unique. The service was quick. It's an open seating, so you order at the counter and take a number to your table. I felt like the chicken sandwich could have a bit more flavor because we ended up using the hot sauce provided on the table quite a bit.
google avatar

Ella W.

Yelp
The location of this Souvla has a parklet set up for outdoor dining. On beautiful sunny days the restaurant opens its front doors and there are tables set up right outside too. A perfect spot I love to dine with my pup. The food is consistent and yummy. The servers make it a point to clear your plates as soon as you're done so that the wind or pigeons don't take away your leftovers. I highly recommend the salad, sandwich, rotisserie chicken and of course the Greek fries with garlic yogurt dip.
google avatar

Taylor K.

Yelp
So so good! I'm always skeptical ordering salads from restaurants but the chicken salad SLAPPED like no other. The chicken was warm, the sauce was perfect but not too much. There was crunch. 9/10 would get again no doubt. We door dashed it to work and it came pretty quick and well put together.
google avatar

Yana I.

Yelp
Go for dessert - Greek yogurt with olive oil and sea salt will definitely expand your horizons! Signature dessert with great respect to Greek tradition. Want to repeat this tasting experience.
google avatar

Erica C.

Yelp
I love their food and the people are usually nice. The place is small but it's still good.
google avatar

Miss M.

Yelp
The chicken soup at this place gave me Salmonella food poisoning. It's been a horrible experience. The frozen yogurt has a funny after taste, too. But I'm pretty sure it was the chicken soup. My 1st & last time at this location and if I could give them negative stars, I would. If you got sick and you had eaten there, just know that it's from something you ate there.

Yelp
Fast casual Greek restaurant with a simple menu. I really enjoyed my whole meal, but the Frozen Greek Yogurt was the star of the show!! - Pork Salad: I only had a bite and it was yummy. - Greek Fries: Couldn't really taste the seasonings, but the fries were crispy. - Baklava Crumbles & Honey Drizzle Frozen Greek Yogurt: Fav item - must try!! The flakey, syrupy baklava paired so well with the tart Greek yogurt. - Half Chicken: Seasoning was delicious! - Juicy Potatoes: Flavor of the rotisserie drippings was overpowering. I initially thought the potatoes were cooked with lamb fat because of how gamey the flavor was. - Greek Olive Oil & Flaky Sea Salt Frozen Greek Yogurt: Wished the olive oil was incorporated throughout instead of just on top.
google avatar

James A.

Yelp
Wife and I shared an order of the veggie bowl and an order of the lamb bowl. Everything was DELICIOUS. The veggie bowl was far better than I expected. The lamb bowl was also very good.
google avatar

Matt J.

Yelp
There aren't enough words to say how awesome Souvla is so I'm not going to try. This post is specifically in appreciation of the flexibility of their meals. After ordering the vegetarian salad (the sweet potato is fire) I make four additional mods relating to the toppings and dressings and not only do they execute it well but the servers are extremely patient and accommodating. My order is very extra--I am well aware.

Yelp
Incredible food, friendly service and incredible Greek yogurt dessert with cherry sauce!

Yelp
Been wanting to try Souvla for a while but never got around to it. Thankfully I was in the neighborhood and it was late in the day where I knew there wouldn't be much of a lunch crowd. Ordered the lamb salad, greek fries, and honey Greek yogurt. You can order for dine in or to go and it's self seating. There's also a really nice outdoor seating area if you prefer to sit outside. Service was pretty quick. Got my food 5-10 minutes after I ordered. And if you order the greek yogurt you can get it after your meal. Lamb Salad - definitely hearty, I think the dressing could have been a little more watery to balance out the dryness of the lamb; the greens were refreshing (especially since it was a warm day) Greek fries - came out piping hot with a side of ketchup. You could also upgrade it with other sauces but the fries were good enough on its own. Greek Yogurt - the MVP of the meal; super refreshing and light, exactly how I imagined frozen yogurt to taste like and the honey drizzle lent a nice sweetness to the tart yogurt Definitely will consider trying the sandwich/wrap next time and maybe the chicken or pork.

Yelp
Outstanding food. Incredible salads, and delicious roasted chicken; however, charged me one dollar extra for a little extra dressing to put in my salad and when I ordered a frozen yogurt afterwards, only filled up the cup, barely to the top. Just to make sure it wasn't a mistake, went back a week later and again, very stingy on the frozen yogurt. If you're going to charge almost dollars for a small yogurt, at least fill the cup up!
google avatar

Yelp
This is a great place If you want something quick & casual with a nice open atmosphere. I recommend going there on a nice sunny day. Their wraps are big and meaty. I especially recommend the fries. I normally don't like feta cheese, but it was a nice surprise and a little added flavor, which they normally add to the fries. I don't know if whether or not you can request the fries without it or not. They also offer reasonably priced Retsina and other wines. The only thing missing on the menu was tzatziki which would've made my food taste even better.

Elizabeth M.

Yelp
Was excited to try after reading the reviews. I ordered takeout - 3 pork sandwiches, Greek salad and Greek yogurt with honey for $71. The order was quick and ready within 25 min. However, the pork sandwich lacked flavor and it was cold. The pita was cold and hard and the fries were also cold. The Greek salad and Greek yogurt were good. Also, keep in mind that utensils are not included and .25$. My husband didn't realize it until he got to the car so he had to return to buy some since we were eating at the park.

Yelp
Came in for lunch and got the pork sandwich, lamb sandwich, and greek fries. Our food came out super super quick and the cashier was very nice and answered all our questions!! The fries were yummy and the sandwiches were a decent portion size. We both agreed the lamb was better than the pork; I personally thought the lamb had a more richer flavor between the two. They also both came with loads of veggies, so it had a nice bite. Would probably get extra dressing on the side to dip with next time though. We saw others get the salad and they looked like pretty huge, so will need to try that + the frozen greek yogurt next time!

Jessie X.

Yelp
The chicken sandwich had a generous amount of meat, and the addition of orange slices provided a refreshing touch. However, I did find it to be lacking some flavor and also would have wished for a bit more dressing, as it was a bit dry. LOVED their Greek Sour Cherry Syrup Froyo though - the sweetness of the syrup blended in perfectly with the tartness of the yogurt and made for a delightful treat on a hot summer day. Service was fast, our food came out within ~10 minutes of ordering.

Yelp
Souvla is it!!! I really enjoyed my experience here last night. I got to try to chicken salad, the fries, the soup, and even the greek yogurt with baklava crumbles!! The service is fast and the employees are super kind and accommodating! The inside was a little small but it was not an issue and I was able to find a table easily. I love the bowls and cups they use it just really works with the whole energy and ambiance of the restaurant. I wish they had more locations outside of SF because I'd be there for that chicken salad weekly!!

Yelp
This review is purely based on their Greek yogurt! I'm a Greek yogurt type of girl and when I saw that they had frozen Greek yogurt, I knew I had to try it. When I first ordered it, I ordered the one with honey and baklava crumbles, but I was afraid that it would be too sweet with the honey so I asked them to omit that. To my surprise, I realized that the yogurt itself is super tart and not sweet at all. If you don't like Greek yogurt, you probably won't like this plain as it has that strong greek yogurt flavor, but I didn't mind it at all. They also don't skimp out on the toppings. They really hook you up.

Yelp
Bright, bustling Souvla location in the Marina. Came in for a quick to go bite and their service was fast. Hate to give this three stars, but I just didn't love it. I'm pretty particular about my mediterranean sandwiches. I wish that they had a falafel sandwich option, but they only had the roasted white sweet potato. It isn't wrapped super well since it all manages to fall apart as you eat it. Sandwich also is rather dry since there's no hummus or sauce. Not my fave unfortunately, but I did like the frozen greek yogurt with baklava crumbles! Very refreshing, tarte, and light -- complimentary to the pistachio baklava and the sweetness of the honey syrup. Again, I'm not a huge fan, but maybe I need to try their other protein options? Not sure.

Yelp
I think Souvla has San Francisco's best salads. The veg salad is life changing - full of pickled vegetables, the best dressing, and the softest, creamiest slow roasted sweet potatoes.

Yelp
Food quality not what it used to be. On several occasions, the chicken on salad was dry and chewy. Takeout purchase did not have eating utensils nor napkins in the bag. Counter Staff not on top of details. Likely to not return.
