Nestled in Atlanta’s West Midtown, Star Provisions is a vibrant market and café by chef Anne Quatrano, offering gourmet breakfast, fresh sandwiches, and artisanal cheeses in a sunny space with outdoor seating.
"For those looking to grab coffee and breakfast in the morning, a sandwich at lunch, or cheese and charcuterie paired with wine in the late afternoon, the multiple covered patios at Star Provisions offer a welcome respite for both owners and their dogs. A bright market surrounds indoor communal tables with foodie gifts as well as treats, rawhide bones, and accessories for the dog, too." - Su-Jit Lin
"It’s common to find just as many leashed pets in the counter-service line at Star Provisions as regular cafe customers. Lots of Upper Westside people pop in from their neighborhood walks for breakfast, coffee, and really good sandwiches. The cafe is also a market, so there are knick-knacks for sale, fragile-looking dishes, and other things that scream, “Don’t let Fido loose.” But once you order (and maybe purchase your companion a toy stuffie for behaving themself), you can head outside to a shaded picnic table to eat your crispy chicken biscuit." - jacinta howard, nina reeder, juli horsford
"Star Provisions market in Westside has everything from fresh bread, cheese, and meats to a plethora of handmade gifts, including ornaments and kitchen ceramics. The market, which houses Michelin-starred Bacchanalia, has many of these products listed online. But it is worth it to visit in person for the breakfast and lunch options at the cafe alone. Why not get a fluffernutter peanut butter and marshmallow sandwich while also knocking some holiday shopping off your to-do list?" - Henna Bakshi
"Star Provisions Market & Cafe offers fresh, organic products and is a great shopping destination for gifts and specialty items." - Edward Barsamian
"The Star Provisions restaurant group has an impressive roster, including Bacchanalia and W.H. Stiles Fish Camp. So it’s no surprise that their namesake bakery is a quadruple threat as a top-tier bakeshop, market, cafe, and Upper Westside hangout. Instead of the usual laptop-filled scene (there's no wifi), the busy cafe gets swarmed with families and small groups, who linger long after their giant shrimp po’boys and crispy chicken biscuits are demolished. Any menu item that utilizes their bread is a good choice (seriously, even the fluffer nutter on thick spongy toast may have you back at the order counter for seconds). And things like giant cakey black and white cookies and flaky ham- and cheese-stuffed croissants are good grab-and-go snacks if you're just here to scoop a few provisions for your upcoming dinner party. photo credit: Amy Sinclair photo credit: Amy Sinclair photo credit: Amy Sinclair" - Juli Horsford
