"It’s common to find just as many leashed pets in the counter-service line at Star Provisions as regular cafe customers. Lots of Upper Westside people pop in from their neighborhood walks for breakfast, coffee, and really good sandwiches. The cafe is also a market, so there are knick-knacks for sale, fragile-looking dishes, and other things that scream, “Don’t let Fido loose.” But once you order (and maybe purchase your companion a toy stuffie for behaving themself), you can head outside to a shaded picnic table to eat your crispy chicken biscuit." - jacinta howard, nina reeder, juli horsford
