"Sticks Tavern bills itself as a family-friendly sport bar with dishes such as roasted chicken poutine topped with cheese curds and roasted chicken gravy, chicken wings, sweet and spicy fried peanuts, potato croquettes, artichoke dip with toasted ciabatta, and fried Oaxacan cheese sticks. Head over on the weekend for brunch with calle del agua chilaquiles or a breakfast sandwich with pork belly, eggs, and cheese sauce. Online ordering available." - Susan Stapleton

Food tasted really good! The bar itself was very nice and had a good atmosphere. The problem I have with the place is the pricing. I ordered the chicken sandwich tossed in mild sauce. It was very good, however it was incredibly small and certainly not worth the 18 dollar price tag. The portion of fries that were served with it also seemed small as if it was a half portion. My wife ordered the chicken strips and it seems like her portion size was more adequate. (Still not worth 16 dollars) Additionally, when paying the bill I noticed that additional cost was added to each item (ex: if the menu said 7 dollars for fried pickles the bill said said 7.30. For the paltry chicken sandwich the menu said 18 while the bill said 18.80) I feel as if this establishment is trying to nickel and dime the customer. I will not be returning to this place as my money could get me further elsewhere.

Solid local bar & grill! The burgers were juicy, and the staff made us feel welcome. Perfect spot for a quick bite and casual hangout. Clean environment, good beer selection, and sports on the TVs. Great place to unwind if you're in the Water Street area.

As a queer woman, it is difficult to find a place you feel Safe and Welcome. I'd say I feel both here. And as a plus... the food is pretty great. Bartenders are attentive and friendly. And the owner, who also cooks... She is so kind and accommodating to the people she serves. If you are thinking of coming here, whatever the reason, please do. You'll love it here.

Experience/Environment: The bar was big and there was a mini arcade in the back which was cool. TVs everywhere is a must and Sticks did not disappoint. Price: Fair priced for food. Drinks are slightly inflated for a local bar — or maybe I’m just not familiar since I’m a water drinker. But maybe because it’s located across the arena. Food: We were wasting time, waiting for the hockey game to start and wanted to catch the game so all we had were drinks and fries. Fries were delicious. Seasoned, and fried to perfection. I was told the Old Fashion was pretty good. Service: From what I saw, there was only one waiter. He did his thing though. Super attentive and he checked on us multiple times to make sure we were ok. Thank you! NTT [[Next Time Try]]: Unsure. But likely will have fries again. Maybe a burger and fish and chips lol. Thank me later ;) Smile, eat, hydrate. Live honest and don’t settle. Hope to see you out there!

Went there on a Wednesday night and they were having some kind of trivia game going so it was very loud. We ordered poutine and greek feta fries for appetizers. The poutine was not very good. The gravy looked like gelatin and was overly salty. The cheese curds were pretty good. The Greek fries were a little disappointing but better than the poutine. Then we ordered the southwest burger and the fried chicken sandwich. The burger was very good if you like really spicy, but somewhat over priced in my opinion. The chicken sandwich was not as good. Not bad, but again for the price, I've had much better. The service was good, our server was friendly. The menus we were given were dirty with catchup smears, etc...as were the salt and pepper shakers. We just felt the place could use a clean up. All the tables are around the bar and there are signs posted that say, "No smoking or vaping." A woman sitting at the bar was vaping while talking to the bartender, so it's clearly not enforced. I'm pretty sure the woman vaping also worked there. It wasn't terrible but probably won't be back given all the other choices on Water street now.

The fried mushrooms was yummy. The caprese salad was a bit watery. The service was good.

We moved to Henderson about 6 months ago and love it! We continue to try new places and since we love Water Street, we decided to give Sticks Tavern (ST) a try. We went on Sunday evening and expected ST to be empty. We were surprised to find the bar area crowded and while there were some side tables and outside tables available, we decided to wait for a bar seat (always our preference) We were greeted as we approached the bar and a young lady named Shaina came over, took our drink orders and advised us to wait a moment as a couple at the bar were leaving. Shaina seated us and was quick to wipe everything down. She ran over the specials with us and passed us a couple of menus. ST is decorated like most of the sports type bar/restaurants we've been to and was spotless. They do have gaming stations at the bar but we aren't gamers so we can't give any advice there.. The menu has a lot of suggestions but we weren't starving so the Mrs. went with a house salad with chicken ($17.00) and I ordered the patty melt ($16.00). We enjoyed talking to the other patrons as we waited and Shaina was joking with all of us. She was quick to handle any request and added a lot to our evening. The food was delivered in no time. The salad was very fresh and the Mrs. was pleased. My patty melt and fries were so hot I had to wait a few minutes to get started. No complaints here! The food was delicious and from what we could see around the room, everything coming out of the kitchen looked great. My patty melt was perfect - the grilled onions were so tasty and the bread griddled just right. We were having so much fun with Shaina and the other customers that we stayed long after finishing our meal. She kept our drinks filled and we even tried a special shot they had that night - very tasty! We were thrilled with our newest find on Water Street and would recommend ST to anyone. We recently saw where they are running a Wednesday night special with wine & pasta - we will be giving that a try. We want to give a big THANKS to Shaina for a wonderful evening and the food, drinks and laughs. Also THANKS to all the Sticks Tavern Staff - ya'll rock! We will be back! Cheers, L&J Henderson NV

The food was great and so were the servers! Excellent variety on the menu. It was not just typical fried bar food. The servers were very friendly and great to talk to. Drinks were great, too.

Yelp
Amazing people! Great vibes! Cute patio high tops! Nice to have a drink and snacks. The owners are very genuine and friendly.

Debi K.

Yelp
The best fish fry I've ever had! Very lightly and flavorful batter and delicious tartar sauce!!! Staff is so amazing-answers all my questions regarded menu choices and my very specific drink choice is always made to perfection. We will be back! Sorry I didn't take a photo of the fish!

Yelp
Fast food good beers on tap Waitress was very informative Great Ambiance go knights go

Leilani B.

Yelp
Our first time in, came to visit one of our favorite bartenders Stacy. Thank you for always taking care of us. Always have a great attitude, love you girl! Armando, the chef is amazing! They have gluten free bread for our chicken sandwich and the salad was delicious as well. Great atmosphere, drinks and food ! Great spot in water street.

Barbara D.

Yelp
The fish and tots are delicious! The drinks are strong and the music is jamming! Love this place! First time here and definitely coming back and making it a regular stop! Wow! Great time and excellent courteous service great drinks not watered down. Music is so great. Casual atmosphere. Highly recommend this place!

Bree J.

Yelp
Love this place since Angie has taken over!! She is amazing and so friendly! The Amazing Ivan is behind the bar! He is an awesome bartender, so knowledgeable, especially with tequilas! This guy knows his stuff and Is always so welcoming! The food is great! It's a great spot to watch sports and sit on a patio! Ask for Ivan!!!

Mike C.

Yelp
Definitely one of the best burgers in town! Maybe even the absolute #1 best. They charged me $.82 to use my credit card to pay for the food! That is very bad form. How to screw your customers for spending their money here. Sorry to my waitress but I deducted the $.82 from your tip, you should ask for the owner to reimburse you.

Yelp
Came to visit the "Hawaiian Dancing Queen"Bartender, Lala at her new spot on an early Saturday night. I was presently surprised that this was a family friendly gaming restaurant so the hubby and I could enjoy perfectly crafted beverages coupled with good eats for us and our baby girl. She was crafted a raspberry temple that was perfectly refreshing and bottomless. The hubby got his usual drink but then was introduced to a new, smoother whiskey that is his go to now. I got my usual, Kansas City Ice Water. They got burgers with fries to eat while I got steak frites with fries as well. The burgers were good and not burnt. They loved the buns that were toasted but not hard and had a fresh taste. My steak frites were cooked to perfection and so juicy- medium well; they were accompanied by chimichurri sauce that the frites were settled in along with a handful of fries. None of our fries were greasy and all the food was full of flavor. Service was good. Seating was open/first come, first serve. Our waitress was great but appeared to be busy with most of the other tables. Between her and Lala we were never without anything. The ambiance was good. The crowd was mixed in ages, a live band was playing songs, the TVs were on as well. There was bar seating, gaming at bar available, unisex bathrooms (2), table seating, and booth seating as well. Parking close by off of Water street and FREE.

Yelp
We wanted to love this place. Loved the pizza and wings when it was Sunset, though service was never their strong suit. Even with the place half full it took about 15 minutes for a waitress to come to our table so we could order drinks and and appetizer. From there we waited 25 minutes to receive our appetizer and another 10 before our cocktails and waters to arrive. The artichoke dip was heavy, thick, cream cheese consistency - served without enough bread to finish the dip. We asked for more bread or chips or something/anything to eat the rest of our dip with. Or waitress said she'd get something from the kitchen but never did. After waiting another 15 minutes, we had to go to the bar to ask our waitress to come back to take our food order... she was busy taking shots with the bartenders. Our dishes all came out at various times and my steak frites came after EVERYONE had finished their meals. The steak frites was delicious, my friend's pastrami fries were delicious. Unfortunately we're not likely to dine here again. Service is just so bad, it's not worth it. Unless you're at the bar, they don't seem to care about you.

Yelp
Somehow, this place is incredible and I am so shocked at the quality they provide. Thank you, Amanda, for also being a fantastic waiter!!! Recommendations: STEAK FRITES Ordered medium rare and this was absolutely delicious. Quality beef and the waitress said it covers in fresh. STICKS BURGER This burger was fantastic and had a nice patty that was crisped on the edges! GARLIC FETA FRIES Probably the best fries I've had in a long time. Came with soft roasted garlic pieces. Great with ranch.

Tamara M.

Yelp
Food was ok, server very nice but kind of slow. Cook was very nice and came out to check on the fries we sent back as they were cold. I probably would not go back but could be fun during a game.

Hannah C.

Yelp
Food here is phenomenal!!! Great service and such a chill cool vibe to come and hangout!

Dave N.

Yelp
Mikayla was awesome! Attentive and friendly. Burgers are fantastic! But beware of the x-rated cheese curds

Gray G.

Yelp
Congratulations Angie. We stopped in last night after the kids hockey game at America First Center. The Old Fashion was delicious and the IPA was icy cold. We had a hamburger, patty, melt, and a BLTG which is with guacamole, all with french fries. The service was excellent everybody went away happy !!

Matthew P.

Yelp
Great food ,drinks and service! Really appreciate that the chef came out and checked to make sure the food was good. It certainly was and I appreciate being asked too! Also ask for Shaina, the absolute sweetest and best!

John M.

Yelp
Excellent food!! Service is great!! I went in for lunch on a Sunday and got the lasagna. WOW!! I'll be back.

Harmony N.

Yelp
It's such a good location. If they could make some changes on their food and their service, it would be better. Our server was so slow and inefficient- it was infuriating at times. The food was meh. I don't even know what to suggest- it just needs to be better. There are a lot of good options on Water Street- this just isn't it.

Bev S.

Yelp
My sister and I went to the art festival and decided to stop in here, my first time! We sat at the bar the place was nice & airy. The waitress was very kind & helpful when we ordered. The mushroom burger on that light fluffy bun was the best I've had with french fries crunchy on the outside & soft inside perfection! My sis had cheese sticks with sticky hot Tabasco to dip whoa that hot dip is no joke but you can't stop eating it! I love spicy hot though Yumm! I will be back soon.

Genel S.

Yelp
We came here to watch the hockey game and thought it was going to be packed because it's play off season but it actually wasn't. First impression of the place was that it was a clean, chill, sports bar/restaurant, not too big, not too small, Golden Knights themed. We sat at a high top where we had our own TV to watch the Knights game. We ordered the wedge salad to start which actually was super dry and pretty bland besides the strong flavors from the blue cheese and bacon. But the Chicken sando and the Sticks Cheeseburger were both delicious. They also had La Bat beers on special for $3 each! Service was pretty good considering there was only one bartender manning the bar and all the tables. I'd come back here to watch a hockey game and have some good eats. I'll try something else on the menu next time.

London C.

Yelp
I wanted to like this place so badly after the remodel but it unfortunately fell short. I liked the atmosphere and the server/bartender was so kind and welcoming. However, the restaurant was out of about half of their menu-if not more! The food took over 30 minutes to come out, my sisters chicken wings were burnt, I asked for pickles on my burger and got sliced cucumbers. I'm going to try this place again but my first visit was not it.

Joe C.

Yelp
Visited on a Sat.party of 6. Service was slow but good. We were told they are undergoing new ownership so limited menu. We started with poutine fries, fried mushrooms, burgers and patty melt were great. Met some friends today, new owner. Our lunch was great again. We ordered the fried chicken sandwich, Brussels sprout salad and fried mushrooms. All excellent! The new chef came to our table to ask about our meal and introduce himself. It is a family place, bar on one side and family seating on the other. We will go back (maybe not this week again).

Griffin S.

Yelp
If you want a great service and incredible food, this is your spot!!! Angie and her team are top notch!

Lauryn W.

Yelp
I went there with a friend and I ended up spending almost 50 bucks on 2 glasses of wine and 1 appetizer , because the server didn't give me a drink menu. Had i known the cost, i would have chosen otherwise. Now I go onto their website and can't even find a glass of wine that costs 17$ each, and can't help but feel a little bit robbed. I will not be going back and have told others not to frequent this place.

Jacqui C.

Yelp
My coworker talked about Sticks Tavern and I decided that I wanted to check them out myself. Hence the name and being located directly across the street from Lifeguard Arena, this is the perfect place to watch hockey games and, obviously, it's a hockey themed bar. Every Friday night is karaoke night, which happened to take place when we visited, so we got to watch a multitude of people sing while enjoying our meals. Yes, I do sing myself, but I chose not to partake in karaoke this time around. Originally I wanted to sit outside, but my boyfriend wanted to sit inside due to the recent wildfire smoke we've been getting. You've gotta try their cocktails! I had the What The Puck and my boyfriend had the Chance's Colada. Our waitress told us later that they ran out of Raspberry Vodka (one of the main ingredients in this drink), but I didn't realize it because it tasted so good! My boyfriend loved the Chance's Colada so much that he wants to make his own at home. Now it's time for the food. We shared a basket of onion rings with ranch on the side (they make their own ranch, FYI). I ordered the Grandma's Pulled Pork Sandwich and my boyfriend ordered the Patty Melty Melt, both with fries on the side. My sandwich had pickled onions and BBQ sauce in it, which was messy at times but had an abundant taste to it. My boyfriend was also satisfied with his meal. We found parking in a lot around the corner in the back, which was easy. This was one of our favorite bars that we visited in Downtown Henderson thus far.

Yelp
We were out there for a softball tournament for our daughter. I hope good food around the area. And some more upon the fire. We decided that down at the bar while her pain with warming up. We are so thankful that we go to Jennifer, the bartender, made us the best drinks with her head and burger. they did Ronaldo food. That's why they only have four stars. And the pictures on Yelp is not updated. They said they had rotisserie chicken which they did not. I don't know that the service is excellent. This is good and we enjoyed our experience. my husband just said that that was the best chicken sandwich he's ever had in his life. He told the whole softball team about it. Coming from someone who grew up in the south means something

Deb C.

Yelp
I'm reading these reviews and completely dumbfounded. This place is the bomb. My hubs and I visited for the first time during a LLWS (Little League World Series). We had the best time!! The food was fantastic!! The service attentive!! The ambiance was outstanding! Where else can you sit and have a private TV at a table?? Other sports bars I've been too you're straining you're eyes to see across a bar. We loved the Knights theme, including the drink names. We can't wait to come and watch away VGK Games here!! People it's a SPORTS BAR!! Get some libations and ENJOY YOURSELVES. This is not Gordon Ramsay's Hells Kitchen!!! It's a neighborhood hangout but a GREAT one!!

Paul L.

Yelp
Stopped by for a meal before a hockey game and it was empty at first and started to fill later in the evening. Server greated and seated promptly, took our order and recommended some great brews. The food came out fast and was pleasantly surprised how good the food was. I am big on service and they were attentive and great - highly recommended.

Yelp
After a hike, I brought two friends from out of town to Sticks. We had hiked from Las Vegas Bay so this was a convenient stop on Water Street in Henderson. It was a quiet Super Bowl late morning and we were given their brunch menu which has fewer items than their normal dinner menu. My two friends each ordered the Sticks burger with fries. Although from Canada, they did not choose to upgrade the potatoes to poutine. I ordered the chicken katsu sandwich. which the menu describes as: marinated & breaded chicken breast, cilantro aioli, carrot and daikon relish, garlic cucumber, brioche bun. We all enjoyed our lunches with my friends being very pleased with there burgers. The chicken katsu sandwich on brioche was very good. It could use a bit more cilantro aioli for my taste but it was nice to order something different not often seen. Our server was very pleasant and she refilled drinks. Parking was quite easy and if it was a bit warmer, we probably would have eaten outside. This is definitely worth another stop for the dinner time menu.

Cam E.

Yelp
Place was pretty empty just before lunchtime, so service and kitchen was super speedy. Our server Samantha was helpful and fast! Reasonable prices for pretty good bar food. I had the tacos and they were soo great. Very cool, sporty place with nfl team flags hung up, really felt like a sports bar at a stadium.

Denise P.

Yelp
2nd attempt here, 1st time didn't stay 10 minutes. 2nd time - Arrived approximately 1pm, asked the waitress how her day was going, she responded "it's been better, only 2 of us scheduled and the tips are not great". She took our drink order and returned about 15 minutes for food order. The nachos were ice cold, the cheese was clumpy on top. Sent back the nachos and asked for plain hot dog. The waitress never came back to check on us, after 15 minutes we asked where the hot dog was - she said "checking on it now". 10 minutes late,r, still no hot dog, everyone else was done. We ask for a "manager" - the ladies behind the bar looked at each other and said "do you want to be the manager?" The "manager" came to the table and said she removed the nasty nachos and hot dog from the bill and would discount the bill for our troubles. Meanwhile the waitress comes back and slams a to go box with the hot dog and fries and says "here's the hot dog, you can take it to go" and slams the bill in our hand. We informed the server that the "manager" was issuing a discount, her response "communication would be nice" and walked away. So I took just the hot dog, so we can leave, this was the worst food I have ever tasted, it was greasy and burnt. I was sick immediately

Yelp
I recently visited Sticks Tavern in Henderson with a friend to catch a performance by the Frankie Lee Infernos. Unfortunately, my experience at the tavern was a major disappointment due to the poor service provided by one of the servers. Upon arrival, I followed the instructions on the sign and seated myself, but there was no server to greet us. After two songs, my friend had to walk up to the bar to order a drink as no server came to our table. When the server finally arrived, I asked for a non-alcoholic beer and was told that they had Heineken Zero, which I ordered. However, when the server returned to my table, she informed me that they also had O'Doul's. I reiterated that I preferred the Heineken Zero, but the server left to attend to other tasks instead of placing my order. After waiting for ten minutes, I had to walk up to the bar to order my drink. When the server eventually returned to my table, I showed her my drink and explained that I had already gone to the bar to order it. In response, the server became defensive and started yelling at me, causing a scene that was louder than the live music we had come to enjoy. I was taken aback by the server's unprofessional behavior and tried to defuse the situation, but she threatened to have me kicked out of the tavern. Later, she approached our table to inform my friend that she would not serve me and that I had to order from the bar instead. This was an unnecessary and unprofessional gesture that left me feeling uncomfortable. Overall, my experience at Sticks Tavern was soured by the poor service provided by this particular server. I believe that servers should be happy to do their job and prioritize customer satisfaction, and this was not the case in my visit. Despite the nice venue and fast bartender, the server's behavior ruined my entire experience. As such, I cannot recommend Sticks Tavern and will give it a 1-star review

Jonnie D.

Yelp
Great service. We just happened on this place by accident when deciding to spend a evening out on water street. Waitress was great. I got the Steak Frites and the steak and fries were good. Steak was a little over salted but the meat was great. A little bit too many fries for me but I shared with others. My friend got a hot dog from here and said it was the best one he has ever had.

Lauren B.

Yelp
Restaurant used to be incredible. Under new management and with the new menu it is not good. Burgers made our party of 4 sick when we all ordered the new version of the sticks burger. it was so greasy the grease was pooling on our plates and ran down my elbows personally. We didn't finish them. We were disappointed to see the fries have been completely changed as well (and overcooked). The service was slow for it not being a busy time of day. We were regulars at sticks and now we have taken back the recommendation to everyone we had the pleasure to share it with. Also there is no changing station in either of the restrooms.

Lauren C.

Yelp
Water Street has so many fun things happening these days. I've been making an effort to try every restaurant, brewery, coffee shop, etc. that is down here. Sticks was part of a mini crawl I did recently. Sticks Tavern is an old school type of bar right across from Lifeguard Arena. People who enjoy a no frills bar will like it here. They have plenty of indoor tables, a large bar, and a small patio. The service was excellent from Lauren. She greeted us as soon as we arrived and was friendly. She made sure we had everything we needed while we enjoyed our food. The Poutine had crispy, tasty fries and was my favorite item of what we ordered. I liked that they put the gravy and cheese curds underneath the fries to keep the fries crispy. Potato Croquettes were okay, more of a potato nugget. This isn't something I'd order again. The Wings were great. They were fried and crispy. Sauces come on the side so they don't get soggy. Overall, a good spot to indulge in some bar eats down on Water Street.

Carol R.

Yelp
The new menu is amazing and the service has been great. The tavern has a whole new vibe. Definitely a lace to recommend to friends.

Amber Z.

Yelp
Damn good Stick's burger and fries. I can not say as much about the homemade onion rings. The onion rings looked great then you bit into a super extra duper salt pellet. I get it. More salt sells more beer, but they were so salty I could not give them away. I went to the restroom, and when I returned, my whole basket of onion rings had been removed from the table, yet I was still charged for them. Public parking across the street. Large karaoke crowd on Friday night

Manuel C.

Yelp
Really cool bar to hang out and watch a game. Food is really good and service is great. Definitely stop by and have a few drinks when your on water street

Barbara H.

Yelp
No one in our group has been there before but we were looking for a new place to dine We showed up at noon and there were only 2 other patrons and they were sitting at the bar. So we were sketchy. It was really cold ( probably due to lack of body heat) and the server turned up the temperature when we commented Nice job We tried the fish and chips Greek burger and BLT The fish looked heavily battered and we were wrong the batter was light and tasty the tartar sauce was a home run ( and I don't usually like tartar sauce) it contained just the right amount of dill The fries were very good also The blt was loaded with bacon and a good choice The Greek burger was well received as were the onion rings We were discussing when we might return If your looking for good food in downtown Henderson you won't be disappointed

Daisy B.

Yelp
Got patty melt burger was good the bread it was on was weird. Fries were hard as a rock. Friend order pastrami sandwich was very good his fries also sucked

Kimberly C.

Yelp
Food is pretty bad .... I thought they had rotisserie chicken. I should not have ordered the tacos, but I did and they were greasy and disgusting. Such a weird place, Eveyhring there seems heavy and greasy.

Steve B.

Yelp
Ok, so my friend was craving a foot long hotdog. Got on Yelp and found 'To be Frank' . So we get directions and it takes us to Sticks, hmm? We go inside and ask about To be Frank and they tell us they've been gone for years. We said bummer cuz my friend really wanted a hotdog. We were told they have hotdogs and can make it any style we want just like To be Frank. So ok, we decide to give it a try. We sit down and when the girl brings menus, there's no hotdog. She says oh, it's not on the menu but we can make it. This is our mistake.....we didn't ask how much for a hotdog. Ok, we order them and the hotdog itself didn't taste bad but the shocker was they were like $12 each! Ouch. There really isn't any justification for that amount of money for a hotdog. I don't think you pay that much at a professional ballgame. So for us it's one and done.

Julie M.

Yelp
The food is at its best mediocre! Ridiculously overpriced and subpar! Tried a few things on the menu and they are tasteless or greasy or really poor quality, this is how one of my to go items looked . I wouldn't touch the meatloaf ever again it's extremely greasy and flavorless and the mashed potatoes tasted like some instant mashed from a box, disgusting! I would never set foot in a place that is ridiculously overpriced yet the delivery on it is so lame. The ambiance is pathetic, they claim to be a sports bar, but they play some horrible music in there, owner's choice because the staff couldn't change it, depressing, they have a few TVs on the wall, small TVs around and a couple of big ones, that's not a sports bar whatsoever! Do not recommend going in there to eat or watch any sports! Every two months they have different staff members, they can't keep their staff either for some reason.

Charlie A.

Yelp
I desperately wanted this place to be great but it just wasn't. The location is great, it's very cute inside but the staff and food was very blah. The only thing to talk about was the chicken. We tried the fried cheese, whatever. The potato croquettes were dense and fried uneven. And the poutine, the soggiest pile of potatoes with flavorless very salty gravy and cheese NOT CURDS we have ever had. Brooklyn bowl has a wayyyy better gravy fry. Ordered a salad Togo, mind you we live across town and had a 40 min drive until we got home. Salad was dressed and put into the box. A Togo salad that was tossed in dressing? Seems like someone messed up and shoved it into the box in hopes no one would know. The most disappointing part is the staff and the owner Jordan. You would think how he was standing in the pass window he would be monitoring the food going out. But no, just gabbing with the pretty bartenders who are also not paying attention to the guests. Unfortunately this may be another case of a restaurant that could've been great but missed a majority of the marks. Food quality, consistency, customer relations. Very important.

Brian R.

Yelp
TLDR - the food might be good, but good luck ordering. I came here couple of weeks ago on a Saturday night. A friend said the burgers were really good. When we arrived the restaurant wasn't crowded (maybe 20% full) but ALL of the open tables were dirty. We thought maybe they'd been slammed with a large crowd and hadn't had time to bus the tables. We wiped down a table and sat down. In approx 10 minutes no one greeted us, brought us menus or water or made any attempt to clear the dirty tables. No one said we'll be there in a minute... The servers did seem to take care of the tables that were eating. There are too many good choices for places to eat on Water Street. We won't be back.

Yelp
I'm sooo happy I stopped at Sticks Tavern to grab a bite with my family . We enjoyed our stay there tremendously! I ate the patty melt and it was the best patty melt I ever eaten in my life. My daughter ate the food and she never eats. All around service was extremely good and that's important post Covid.

Yelp
Great place but they froze out 4 of us on Super Bowl. I understand the kitchen staff may be hot but freezing out customers might be better in the summer.

Yelp
First timers ! Hubby and I stopped in for a quick bite. Service was excellent! A special shout-out to Jess - so kind and great customer service! Food was good - I had the BLT and hubby a burger - both were yummy! We'll be back!

Yelp
I would love to review the food and drink but unfortunately we never got drinks or food. We sat down and were greeted right away. The waitress asked what we wanted to drink and I let her know I needed to see the drink menu first. She gave us menus, brought back waters and left. We never saw her again after that. We waited about 20 min then finally I had enough and we walked out. I have never walked out of a restaurant before, but if it takes more than 20 min just to place a drink order, I can't even imagine how long it would take to get food, or refills later on if needed. It's too bad since it was our first time there and the menu looked really good.

Yelp
Not a bad little spot. The inside is pretty typical of a sports bar with a nice area for drinks if you want to sit at the bar as well as several seating options around the restaurant. My friends and I came here on a lunch break and the food was okay. It was a little underwhelming for the price. Their menu is pretty simple with only a few different options to choose from. They have one burger option on the menu that you can customize pretty much any way you would want, which is a neat idea. The bun was soft and delicious but the meat was overcooked and lacked flavor. Not to mention, each topping was $1-$2 more, so I ended up paying $15 for a burger that honestly was mediocre and not worth the price. We also shared the artichoke dip, and again, for 8 bucks I just didn't feel like it was worth the price. The dip was in a shallow dish with 4 grilled pieces of bread. So you didn't get much dip but also didn't get much bread either. When you think of appetizers at a bar, you usually want those big portions that everyone can share. The flavor was definitely better than the burger though, I will say that. It wasn't an average artichoke dip which was nice to see a restaurant change it up a little. The fries that came with the burger were probably the star of the show. They were crispy and delicious. Overall I am giving 3 stars because I feel the staff was incredibly nice and I could see myself possibly grabbing a drink here with friends. I just don't think I will be ordering food from here again as it just wasn't there for me. Sorry Sticks!

Yelp
Kind of a random visit, but Amanda was awesome. All her suggestions were tasty! The chicken rice was so good, the steak frites were spot on and the Ruben sandwich was delicious. Definitely going to come back!
