I love that Elk Grove has such a unique restaurant like Streetzlan, and I'm so glad I found it! It's located in a strip mall, but from the street it sits on a corner and you can see the signs advertising tacos and beers. The waitress/hostess greeted us warmly and and provided some ice water in a bottle that we could pour ourselves, which was nice. When it came time to order our drinks, she suggested one of their watermelon/strawberry Agua Frescas. What a refreshing delicious drink this was. It was not too sweet and it indeed was very fresh. For my food choice, I chose the brisket taco and a fish taco. My husband ordered one of their burritos. Let me start with the fish taco: omg, one of the best fish tacos l've had outside of Cabo! The fish was battered and tasted super fresh. However the slaw and sauce just made all the flavors come together on the blue corn tortilla. The star of the meal was the brisket taco though. The meat is so tender it just falls apart and the smoke flavor and seasoning is on point. The salsa on the taco was definitely on the spicy side, which I love, but you may want to get it on the side if your taste buds say a big no to spicy. My husband's burrito was ginormous with plenty for leftovers. I love the ambiance in the place and they even have an outdoor patio with a huge smoker they use for that amazing brisket. I did not order beer but they have a pretty good selection that would go great with tacos. I really love that they bring culture and delicious street food together for a unique experience. I can't wait to come back and try the other menu items!

The tacos were flavorful, juicy and delicious! The pulled pork taco has a smokiness to it and it gave me surprise when I took my first bite. I would come back again to try their other items as well as their bbq considering how tender and juicy their taco meats were.

I loved the tacos here! Not only are they visibly appealing, but the taste was just amazing. Service is great! The inside is plain, no thrills, but that's okay, as the food and service makes up for it.

Google
Why does Streetzlan only have 70 reviews? This is absurd in a city the size of Elk Grove. I first found StreetZlan in Galt where they had a small kitchen. The food is always exceptional. There have been times I've missed out on their daily or weekly specials, but this place is just that popular. I've never had anything I didn't want to go back for. Tonight, no exceptions. The Ahi Poki Nachos were very filling with plenty of protein. The quesa birria tacos, pretty good, but the hot salsa, Bottle That Stuff Up!!!! I need to plan a special trip on a week for the BBQ platter.

I can never order just one thing here--everything is just so flavorful and delicious! First up, the tacos--WOW. My husband swears by the fish tacos every time while I'm all about the steak and chicharrón tacos. Each bite is packed with bold, fresh flavors that keep us coming back for more. Then there's the smashburger and fries--an absolute must-try! The juicy, flavorful patty paired with perfectly crispy, golden fries makes for one of my all-time favorite go-to dishes. And we have to talk about the Avocado Slayer--refreshing, bright, and zesty, it's like a bite of sunshine. The combination of creamy avocado, citrusy lemon slices, and a rich bean spread creates a balance of flavors I never expected to work so well together, but somehow, it just does! A huge shoutout to the incredible Streetzlan team! Their service is amazing, and you can truly see the passion they put into every dish. 10/10--highly recommend!

Google
Wow. Just wow! My family and I recently relocated to Elk Grove and have been looking for new places to try and let me tell you, StreetZlan is the place to go! From the moment we walked in we were welcomed to ordering our food & eating it the service was amazing. The food you can tell is made with love and care with their own touch. I opted for the bowl with El pastor meat, SO GOOD, SO TENDER (our baby was able to eat the meat) , SO JUICY. Again if we could give them 10 stars we would! Definitely a family friendly restaurant and worth your time and money!

Google
First time coming here. First impressions were that all the food we ordered was tasty and had different flavors. Everything did not taste the same. Portions are on the small side so you may need to order more if you have an appetite. Although we ordered more small plate items. They did have a rib dish that was fairly large. Casual atmosphere and staff was attentive and did not rush you off when we were done. A little on the pricier side but worth the money. The Cigar dessert is an absolute must try. It was a great ending to our meal. Loved that this is a family owned place. Will come back again to try other dishes.

Google
Good little spot and has a great vibe. We ordered sliders, burger, tacos, half chicken plate as well as Mexican street corn and chips with guacamole and salsa. Service was very slow as two girls were serving everyone and food was expensive with small portions. That being said, presentation was beautiful and most of the food items tasted great! Wish chips and salsa were bottomless. Mexican corn was the best I ever had!! Sliders and dirty fries were yummy!! Will be back..

Yelp
**Absolutely delicious!** I've been wanting to try this Mexican fusion spot for a while, and it did not disappoint. I was surprised to see a grilled chicken banh mi sandwich on the menu, but it was fantastic! The chicken was was perfectly grilled --smoky and slightly charred. What really tied it all together was the sauce. Although it looked like a lot, it complemented the sandwich beautifully without overwhelming it. (I ordered extra veggies, highly recommend). Every bite had the perfect balance of flavor and texture. It's one of those meals where you're already thinking about your next visit before you're even done eating. Definitely a must-try! Also, shout out to the waitress who was super welcoming and friendly--she made the experience even better. I'll definitely be back to try more from the menu!

Yelp
Came here for lunch. It was pretty empty since I came when they just opened for the day. The waitress provided menus and told me to sit anywhere I liked as she grab water for the table. We both ordered 3 tacos (fish, al pastor, and chicharron) along with a side of corn. The Al pastor was extremely dry and the fish was okay but the batter to fish ratio was uneven. The chicharron was the only highlight along with the corn. I wouldn't mind giving their bbq a chance even though I was slightly underwhelmed with their tacos. The restaurant itself isn't too big but there is plenty of parking in the plaza they are in along with an outdoor patio.

Yelp
Oh man, I really loved everything I ate here. Al pastor taco 4.5/5 Fish tacos 5/5 Salmon tostada 5/5 Bbq beans 5/5 Elote 3/5 (this was the only disappointment. The sauce was great but the corn itself did not taste fresh. Overall, an excellent restaurant. Great customer service! I'll be back!

Yelp
I absolutely LOVE their chicharrón tacos!! They're crispy and have the best guacamole to salsa ratio. Their menu has definitely evolved since I've last visited but so far these tacos have been my go to. I'd recommend you go and try them out. Service was lovely and the ambiance feels like home. I genuinely love this place.

Yelp
Came here on Saturday 5/17. Our server/host was AMAZING, very polite, and knew the menu so well. The restaurant is pretty small, but its not located in a busy area for the weekend, which my husband and were ok with. The dirty fries were 10/10 Brisket taco: 7/10 it was too much brisket for a taco and I felt it could use more flavor but the texture was spot on Fish taco: 10/10 Carne asada taco: 10/10 Carnitas taco: 8/10 They don't have much of a spicy salsa but the tomatillo salsa was amazing!!

Yelp
I was craving tacos and came across this restaurant. I went there around 12:30 in the afternoon it was pretty empty in there. The restaurant was decorated cute and it was clean. Our server was very kind and attentive to us. I tried all the street tacos and my favorite one was the fish taco it was amazing! I will be coming back here I had such a great experience.

Yelp
This is a hidden gem. I say that because I parked my car and I literally had to look for it. The outdoor sign is a bit underwhelming but don't let that steer you from stepping in! As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Ameena and she was really friendly. I told her I don't eat pork so she made sure to tell me which dishes have pork in them . When I walked in the restaurant was completely empty . It was at 2 in the afternoon on a Sunday . I got my food very quickly. You can order 3 tacos for $17 which is a good deal now a days . I am boycotting all Pepsi and coke products so I asked Ameena if they serve virgin margaritas and boy did she deliver! It was delicious I must admit I think $7 for a virgin margarita is a bit much so I won't be ordering again. Now let's talk about the food The fish taco was the best! It's crunchy and soft at the same time . It's full of favor yet not overpowering. The chicken taco was also good. My least favorite was the carne Asada . I did not enjoy the super loud music , just a heads up if you are looking for a quiet ambiance, this is not it . But other than that it was a nice spot .

Yelp
I went to Streetzlan with a friend, excited to try it out. The place has a cute atmosphere, and we were able to sit wherever we wanted. Our waitress was very kind and attentive. The food was beautifully presented, but unfortunately, the flavors were underwhelming. We ordered the smash burger and upgraded fries. The burger was decent but tasted like any other burger and was slightly more charred than I prefer. The fries were great, though--though I may be biased since I love grilled onions. We also tried the cucumber salad, which lacked flavor. The issue seems to be that they prepare it on the spot rather than letting the cucumbers marinate in the dressing. Smaller cuts and some time to soak would make a big difference. As for the tacos, the al pastor was too charred and didn't have much flavor, while the fish tacos were just okay--the breading and sauce provided most of the taste. Overall, while the service and presentation were nice, the food didn't stand out flavor-wise. Because of that, we probably wouldn't return.

Yelp
I was really excited to see a fancy taco spot in the area. I've been riding the high of having elevated tacos at places like Holbox in LA or Lola 88 in SD. The carne asada was cooked over charcoal and had a really nice smokey flavor to it. However, the meat was overcooked and dry. It had the texture of beef that's been sitting in the warmer for too long. The chicharron taco was seasoned well, but needed to be crisped up just a bit more on the top. The skin had the chewy texture that could've been better if slow cooked or fried a little longer. The Al Pastor was also overcooked and dry. The marinade is standard and didn't really stand out. The best was the fish taco. It was crispy and flakey. It reminds me of a lot of the mariscos trucks down in SD. I loved the tortillas - they are handpressed and didn't have that store bought texture/taste. The salsas across the board were also solid and seasoned well. Service is extremely friendly. I'd come back for the fish tacos.

Yelp
We've been wanting to check out Streetzlan for a while. We love going to family owned restaurants. They used to be in Galt and they moved to Elk Grove. As we entered the restaurant, the lady at the counter greeted us with a cheerful smile and told us we could pick our own seating. She was helping another patron. We sat down and she came quickly with our waters and menus. We chatted about the cute decor design while looking over the menu. When she came back, she asked if we were ready. She was very helpful in explaining the menu items and gave us her favorite go to meals. I was trying to stay low carb, so I ended up ordering the City Smash Burger. I added the bacon and iceberg lettuce which was an up charge. I went with a side salad instead of fries. OMGOODNESS!! Everything was made to order and fresh. It was DELICIOUS!! My burger was made for me without the bun to help with the low carb. My friend ordered the three tacos dish. It was the Carne Asada Al Carbon, the Chicharron, and the Chicken Mole. I was told it was all FANTASTIC!! Overall, it was a GREAT choice!! Our waitress was the only one working all the tables at the time. She checked in on us frequently and made us feel at home even though she had others to help. That is service above and beyond. The parking is a shared space with other businesses. Ample parking at the time. They are closed on Tuesday's. We cannot wait to check out other menu items.

Yelp
Tried this place for the first time for lunch. It is located off Laguna blvd across from Apple (next to Todo Un Poco). Plenty of seating but a bit warm inside on a hot summer day in Elk Grove. Ordered a carne asada burrito and the 3 taco plate (fish, chicharron, asada). The batter on the fish was a bit too crusty and the chicharron was tough but tasted good. Carne asada taco was just mid. For roughly $5.60+ a taco, pretty steep price for what you get. The burrito was good but also a bit pricey at $16. Presentation of the food is nice and service was good. Glad I tried this place but probably won't be back. Give it a shot and see what you think.

Yelp
This has been on my shortlist for some time and I finally made it. Party of 4 ! We ordered two 3 Tacos, you get to pick 3 tacos for $17 no sides. 1 burrito bowl and dirty fries. First plate- 2 fish one chicken Second plate- 1 fish 1 chicken & 1 asada The tortillas were excellent, fresh! The meat was good quality. The flavors did not hit, and the food was not hot enough. My chicken taco slaw was too drippy. A salsa bar would not hurt and a scoop of beans and rice wouldn't either! I do believe this is a great place but they have inconsistencies and could use some flavors tweaks to sauces. Overall super friendly staff and nice clean place. Give it a try!

Yelp
First time visit came for lunch. Waitress was polite and service was prompt. Didn't realize they also had BBQ menu so I ended up trying the combo platter (brisket, pulled pork, beans, dirty fries). Everything had a good flavor but I would have preferred the meat a little hotter. Wife had the carne asada tacos and said they were tasty. Kiddo enjoyed the cheeseburger but didn't get the juice he wanted (they had run out).

Yelp
Cute little taco restaurant that I had no idea existed. I came to grab a quick late lunch to eat so I didn't want to order too much, even though I wished I did. I ordered the Vaquero Taco, which had bold flavors and the braised beef was tender. The C fish taco was soft and not thickly battered, the chicharron was decent and the pulled pork was my favorite because of the surprising smokey element. All had a slightly different sauce that made each one unique and every one tasted as good as it looked. If this is the taste of street food tacos, I would love try some more!!! Streetzlan has so much to offer on their menu, it quite the variety which ranges from Ahi Poke Nachos to Burgers, to BBQ to Banh Mi. I'm not sure how good those are, but judging from my first visit, I'm sure I'll be in for a surprise next time. The owner was also super welcoming and friendly. I'm so glad this place is so close to home.

Yelp
Just visited Streetzlan for the first time and loved it! Came out to celebrate my husband' birthday and loved our experience. The place is very cute, and quaint but simple and I love that. Our server, Ameena was very attentive and friendly. She gave us complimentary Sweet Cigar's for my husband's birthday. I thought that was so sweet. We enjoyed our food VERY MUCH. I had the Ahi Poke Nachos and they were so good! The tacos were great and my son had a burrito which he also enjoyed. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and we will definitely be back.

Yelp
Came here with a party of 6 ppl on Saturday afternoon. I didn't know this place existed but I'm glad I tried it out. Not a long wait, with outdoor and indoor seating available. My wife and her friends really adored the table settings. Small menu with great flavors . The Vaqueros tacos (birria tacos) were delicious. Meat was tender and juicy while tacos shell still retained some crunch. Fish tacos, carne asada and al pastor tacos all were delicious and flavorful. Would definitely come back again. Overall service was great, food is pricey for a tacos but over all delicioso !!
google avatar

Nicole M.

Yelp
Food is always ! The brisket taco amazing but the Carne Asada fries with aïoli bomb roughly about 15 bucks and if you ask for extra cheese, it sets it off! They take on Mexican fusion is really dope and love the fact that they're local and from Galt! They do close pretty early, which kind of sucks but can't go wrong with anything you order on the menu! I remember they won the burger battle back in 2018 /2019 and I've been elevating ever since! Fish tacos are really good too! Service is sweet and super accommodating, and the ambience is solid. They also serve Dino ribs on Friday sometimes so good and filling!

Yelp
Looking for a place to eat in Elk Grove but it is the Fourth of July. I thought it was a bit odd having another Mexican restaurant next to them, but this place is better, menu is smaller. Ambiance Small but clean, nice patio seating which would be nice when not 105 outside. Service Ameena was friendly and made some suggestions. Tacos I would say on the gourmet side. Plating amazing, I suspect someone went to culinary school. They come on homemade blue corn tortillas. Who does that? Fish, al pastor, asada, and chicharron tacos. The fish and carne asada tacos were my favorites. Avocado Slayer tostada This is a piece of art, meticulous in its assembly. It has bits of apple but it works. Rate 5 Spanish rice was a bit bland, Diet Coke was flat. Lose a star for that. A little pricey but it was Taco Thursday $2 off tacos. I will return to try meat slow cooked with smoker.
google avatar

Yelp
We tried this place for the first time. I ordered one Al pastor and one fish taco. They were both good, but I liked the Al Pastor better. The meat was flavorful and tender. The only thing about it was, I was not full after the two tacos. They were small, street tacos. So, I ordered the sliders. The sliders were good, but I think it would have been better with some cheese. Overall, the food was good, but I think the some of the items are a little overpriced. $7 street tacos were a little steep. The sliders were on the pricey side also. You can order a whole burger with fries at another restaurant.

Yelp
I think I may have discovered a new culinary love at Streetzlan! The food here is an absolute delight and, in my opinion, pure perfection! You know how restaurant websites or food photos look incredibly appetizing, but then you visit, and the dish looks nothing like the pictures? Well, at Streetzlan, the dishes not only match but exceed expectations, and the flavors are AH-mazing! I've enjoyed the C St Fish taco, Carne Asada taco, Al Pastor taco, Chicharron taco, Vaquero tacos, and Streetzlan's Red Chicken. Among these, the Chicharron taco reigns supreme! The crunch of the Chicharron wrapped in a warm, soft corn tortilla is simply unforgettable. I think I may have dreamed about this taco, and I eagerly await my next visit to Streetzlan. On my next trip, I'm definitely going to try the Avocado Slayer. I've seen so many people order it, and it looks like a crowd favorite. Streetzlan is cozy, so be prepared to wait a few minutes if you have a large party. However, there's always plenty of parking, the restaurant is impeccably clean and inviting, and the service is top-notch.

I can never order just one thing here--everything is just so flavorful and delicious! First up, the tacos--WOW. Then there's the smashburger and fries--an absolute must-try! The juicy, flavorful patty paired with perfectly crispy, golden fries makes for one of my all-time favorite go-to dishes. Yelp
Wow what a gem Elk Grove has now! I was so impressed with everything from the freshness, service, and variety. We got the salmon tostada and it's my new favorite dish! All the different toppings and the sauce was such an amazing combination . The al pastor fries were also divine and the bbq combo was unexpected but also delicious, yet I'm not sure I would order it again as the other items were mouth watering . Worth every single penny! Can't wait to

Yelp
We finally got the opportunity to dine in at Streetzlan and it was unbelievable. We tried the Avocado slayer, 3 tacos, and sweet cigars. Everything was exceptionally elevate, from service to ambience to food.
google avatar

Yelp
This was indeed an underwhelming dining experience. Took a while to get my food; they were out of aqua Fresca at 2:30 in the afternoon. The barbecue beans were cold, and the ribs were barely warm. The beans lacked flavor, and the ribs were bland and over-charred.

Yelp
Streetzlan is located next to Todo un Poco and in the spot where Nash & Proper used to be, so there is plenty of parking. Inside has plenty of seating and they offer an outside patio as well. Walking inside we were greeted and seated right away. Our server Ameena was amazing. She was super attentive and put up with my husband's dry sense of humor. We both ordered micheladas and I asked for a soda but was informed their soda machine stopped working earlier that day. The miches were bomb tho, the chamoy was really good and she said they mixed tajin with crushed up candies. I ordered the vaquero tacos and the fish taco and my husband got the 2 taco plate with al pastor. Shortly after ordering, we were informed they were out of rice and it would take 20 minutes so Ameena offered for us to pick a different side and we chose the Mexican street corn. My vaquero tacos were good with big chunks of birria but the consome was a little lacking and it was super watery so the flavor didn't really stick to the taco. I'm used to a thicker consome I guess. The fish taco was the highlight of the meal. Perfectly battered and that aioli added the perfect touch. My husband didn't really like his Al pastor tacos, he just wasn't a fan of the blue corn tortilla. The street corn tasted more like a corn chowder, definitely needed some Tajin in my opinion. Overall, service was great, food was ok but if anything, we'll be back for more of those micheladas and fish tacos!

Yelp
The food was amazing, their bahn mi was enjoyable. I've come back 5 times for them hahah. Staff is amazing, the service was quick and responsive. The ambiance is nice and comfortable.

Yelp
Loved the poke nachos ordered 2. Tried the michelada it's good but needs to be stronger. Love the outdoor seating. This use to be where Nash & Proper was before the closed down. Staff was very friendly

Yelp
Small family run restaurant the food had great flavor. Started with chips, salsa and guacamole. Great quality but the portion size is small for the price. Ordered an asada, chicharron and al pastor taco All were great with good meat portions, $5.00 to $6.00 per taco. We also had an order of the birria tacos ($17.00 for 3 tacos) they were full of flavor and plenty of meat. Overall a great dinning experience but a little expensive for tacos.

Yelp
I saw that this was a new place to eat in Elk Grove so we went to check it out. We went right when they opened and didn't have reservations. The place is on the small side but had a bunch of tables. The place looks like a warehouse with high ceilings. It was apparent later since I was cold as we ate. I usually can take it but it was pretty chilly inside. Well they seated us right away. There were two other tables so it wasn't very busy yet. It seemed most of the people had reservations but it was Valentines day. Our server was really nice she went over their favorite dishes . The menu is not really that big so we tried a lot of the things. I of course got the BBQ ribs. The first one was fantastic but it wasn't consistent. Most were over cooked since they were not as big as my first rib. I was really hoping this would be a great place for BBQ. I hope they get that straightened out soon. This would be a fantastic place to get the ribs. It came with corn bread but that was a little dry. Cole slaw too but I didn't care for it. Next were the tacos. I tried the carne asada y chorizo. which wasn't to bad and tasted good. The wife had the C St fish one which was also good but I wish they didn't bread and fry the fish. She got the Al pastor which was her favorite but I didn't try it. The wife wasn't full so she ordered the King sliders . It came with 2 and they were not bad but it would be nice if they had cheese on it. It came with dirty fries, which have caramelized onions on it. We enjoyed those. Our server was amazing. She must of refilled my iced tea 7 times or more. Never empty. Always suggesting thigs to eat. The food wasn't bad but I think the prices are a little high for what you get. At least the tacos for sure . Nix taco is a Michelin star place and their prices are the same. Kind of high for a place just opening. I will see next time we come in and see if things improve.

Yelp
We ate at Streetzlan last night. The atmosphere is relaxed and has outside seating (for when it is a little cooler). Server was very helpful, explaining vegetarian options to me. Try the Avocado Slayer, a tostada with black beans puree, avocado and chopped apples! Crazy, but so good! My husband loved the fish taco and the pineapple watermelon aqua. No margaritas, but they have beer. Hope Laguna will support them.
google avatar

Felicia P.

Yelp
Went here for dinner with some friends...I got the vaquero tacos that came with a side of yummy salsa and consume (perfect amount). The tacos were pretty good - only critiques is that I would have preferred the meat to be a little more shredded and also they should probably laminate their menus. They were out of some items like diet coke, Aguas frescas, and the dessert cigars. Our server had mentioned that they were short staffed and didn't have the regular people that usually prepare the Aguas frescas and desserts there. They are working on getting their beer and wine license. Give them a shot - they just opened a couple months ago, so be patient. I definitely wanna try their fish tacos next time.

Yelp
Food was delicious, not fire. Just delicious. You can taste the love and quality in each bite. Service was good. Friendly. They messed up on my order, corrected it. And made me pay more for a mistake of their part. All good. The hustle is sold separately. The place was clean and modern. They have tv's so we could watch Sunday football. I had the chicharrón taco, well prepared, a good size of crispy pork Burnt End Brisket taco was amazing. Absolutely delicious and flavorful with a nice amount of meat Streetzlan street fries w/al pastor were good as well, not worth the ticket. I'll pass next time. Great quality food, just pricey. Easily spent $40 for lunch for 1 on a Sunday. I'll be back to try other menu items.

Yelp
Just heard about StreetsZlan today through a recommendation from my girlfriend, for a new restaurant we should checkout. So I decided to take the family to check it out today. Arrived around 7 and we're greeted and seated within a couple of minutes. Once seated we looked over the menu for a bit and started with drinks. We were interested in the Agua Fresca but were informed they were out of the day, are it's really popular as it made fresh each day. And it usually is gone by lunch, so I'll have to come back during the day to try it out. We however eventually ordered the food below: Appetizer: Carnitas Street Fries Main Course: C St Fish Taco Vaquero Tacos Burnt Ends Taco Al Pastor Taco Chicharrón Tacos Overall: Good service, delicious food, and nice decor. Would definitely check this place out again.

Yelp
The food here is fantastic. It's so nice to have a great Mexican food place in Elk Grove. Awesome menu choices and all the people working are happy to help. I'd go with the last star but the interior could use a little work. Bottom line, excellent food that's priced very fairly.

Yelp
This spot is TOO good for us LOL. Thank you fellow yelpers. Dont let the out-of-the-ordinary items fool you. (Poke nachos, bbq, etc) This spot shows theyre doing a lot but they also do it well. Green Flags: They make their own tortillas. They make their own chips. Making those in house shows a spot pays close attention to details. We all know that homemade items make HUGE differences in taste. What caught my eye was the Chicharon taco...Typically pork belly items at restaurants are priced higher than the rest. But not this one. This was included in their Choose 3 Tacos for $17. And it was AMAZING. Its crunchy. airy. Paired with a simple salsa. This taco alone is worth $15 or maybe even more. My other 2 tacos were the carne asada and the fish taco. This whole platter is easily a $30 priced tray or even more. The quality is just top notch. This is more like some fancy/bistro type of mexican food. Just wow. Even the Carne Asada was grilled medium rare steak. I am shocked because this spot is almost "too cool" for elk grove LOLOL. But no, our options in this area are really basic and bland. Im so glad this place is here. Please dont go anywhere. Coming back for that brisket taco and more Chicharon tacos too.

Yelp
Wow! This place is newish to Elk Grove and I've never gone to their Galt location, so I didn't know when this place was open. I've stopped by twice before I caught them on a Saturday evening for dinner, but it was worth the wait. I don't know why they didn't have their business hours listed outside their door, but I forgive them. This husband and wife team are extraordinary. He runs the back and she runs the front. This EG location is full service, even though they have a soda fountain located in the dining area. The restaurant is medium sized with about a dozen tables and lots of windows for natural light. So many windows in fact, that it was a little chilly last Saturday night near that door that leads to their patio. Next time I'll request another table. The wife had the Vaquero Tacos. She thoroughly enjoyed the three birria tacos, consume and salsa. She would order that again, but after taking a bite of my Fish Taco, she'll probably order that next time. I had one of her three tacos and loved it too! I ordered a la carte and sampled three tacos: C St. Fish, Burnt End Brisket and Carne Asada y Chorizo. My favorite was the Carne Asada nad Chorizo, then C St. Fish, then the Burnt End Brisket. For dessert, we tried the Sweet Cigars. Service was impeccible and you can tell the family cares about its food as well as it's customers. Simply wonderful and I plan on going tomorrow for their Dino Beef Rib Birria special.

Yelp
My husband and I tried it out for lunch and enjoyed the experience. Cute decor and hip music with a friendly waitress. They have many drink options both alcoholic and non. I had a bottled topo Chico and my husband chose a modelo that came with a Tajin lime. I had a kids menu carne asada quesadilla that came with fries that was a lot of food with lots of meat in it. He had a carne asada taco that had a sauce with a good kick. He especially enjoyed the fish taco for the excellent tangy sauce on it and the blue corn tortilla was very good too. It was quick service and the price was reasonable.

Yelp
Really friendly customer service. Had a great menu. Where this place falls short is the pricing for what you get. Ordered 3 tacos and the potato tacos with the $15 kids meal. Came to $48 for lunch. No chips and Salsa for the table, no rice and beans with the meal. My tacos all had way too much sauce on them which made it unenjoyable for me. The carnitas was good, the shrimp taco came with 2 shrimp and a bunch of corn and the fish taco would have been decent if it wasn't drenched in sauce. For me the 3 tacos was filling but for $17 I could see someone with more of an appetite needing more food than that. The kids burger and fries was actually really good. However, I wouldn't normally spend $15 for a 6yr old to eat a burger. Oh and someone mentioned the floor being sticky and yes it was. It drove my friend crazy lol

Yelp
My husband and I dined here recently, and we thought the food was just okay. We ordered the three tacos for $17 each, but unfortunately, we didn't think they were worth the price. Tacos need to be eaten while hot, but ours were served cold, which was disappointing. We also tried the loaded fries, which were also cold and had barely any meat on them. The tacos themselves could have used more filling as well. The service was friendly, but the server seemed overwhelmed, running around trying to take everyone's orders. Some people even left because it took too long. While she apologized for bringing the wrong order at first, I think this might be why our food wasn't served hot. Adding another staff member for dinner service or implementing a scan-to-order system could really help improve the experience. On the bright side, the salsas were tasty, and the place had a cute vibe. However, it could use a bit more color--maybe a wall mural to liven it up. Overall, we wouldn't come back because we've had better food at better prices elsewhere. This keeps your feedback honest while maintaining a professional and balanced tone.

Yelp
Another home run from the Silva team!! We love the Galt restaurant but live in Sacramento. We were delighted to hear they were opening a second location much closer to us. They did a nice job renovating the old space with a fresh coat of paint and adding some high top tables. We were pleased to be seated and have table service available. A pleasant departure from the other location. Natalie took excellent care of us and answered our questions expertly. The food came out super fast! Another pleasant departure from Galt. The food as always is just top notch. You simply cannot find food of this quality or flavor anywhere else. There is so much love in this food. The menu is just about perfect with some smaller options, sides, and plates. We enjoyed our standard carnitas fries and vaquero tacos, but were blown away by the brisket burnt ends. So much attention to detail. Speaking of detail, the droning Latin tech music was a tad loud during lunch.

Yelp
Literally the best burrito bowl I've ever had in my life (and I've had lots). I'm picky with my Mexican food (because I grew up with authentic), and this is my top spots to go now. I love the take on tex-mex, but I wouldn't even call it that because it's just on a whole other level. Such amazing staff and such a cute little spot. Outdoor area is pretty!

Yelp
Stop by with my son and husband for dinner. I ordered the kids quesadilla and it was delicious. Was actually two quesadillas stuffed with cheese and grilled to perfection. I loved it my son and husband both had fish tacos and Vaquero tacos. They both said that they were both just OK. We like our Birria tacos juicy. Our server.Amina was sweet and very attentive. She explained to us that they have taco Thursdays because they are closed on Tuesdays. We also ordered french fries and they were delicious. The place is cute and is in the strip mall. I hope it does well. I think people forget to look for places to eat on this side of town. We thought it was odd that it was next to another Mexican restaurant.

Yelp
the fried pork taco was good but at $7 pricey. also got a pastor taco same price and after that still wanted snack on something. i do like how it cones with jalapeno and green onion charred. the birria tacos plate was filling because you get three of them. service was good and the workers are very nice.

Yelp
Everything we had was fabulous! So many amazing flavors, spices, and textures! The ribs were so smokey and they just fell off the bone! The carnita fries were my favorite! Fries were crispy and the carnitas had so much flavor. You can't go wrong with any of their tacos, my favorite was the burnt end brisket! The king sliders were delicious as well! Sweet cigars were the perfect dessert! I don't know how they do it, but it was crispy, soft and chewy all at the same time! The Ghirardelli chocolate and cream cheese combo was perfecttt! Highly recommend this place!

Yelp
My girlfriend and I were getting our kitchen worked on so I had a good excuse to go out for lunch. I have been reading about Streetzlan for a while now and this was the perfect excuse to try it. This restaurant is in a mini mall on the way to the 5 freeway so it might be easy to miss. We both got the same thing, the King Sliders. While not inexpensive these were amazing, 2 Angus ground beef patties, pork-belly kakuni, with togarashi mayo . We also got the Street Fries with asada con chorizo, carnitas, or al pastor salsa de aguacate, too much too eat so we had these for 2 meals. The food is very creative and a great change from the usual taco/burrito restaurant. Kudos to the chefs for such a exciting menu, can't wait to try the other dishes on the menu.
