Best Restaurants in Dripping Springs, Texas | Eater Austin

"Owners Ian and Becky Atkins are veterans of the hospitality industry, with a slew of experience in El Paso and Portland, Oregon, behind them. This Hill Country restaurant and wine shop serves tempting dishes for lunch like a Brussels sprout chicken Caesar, sourdough BLT, barbecue salmon on a sandwich, and a pesto pasta bowl. Grab a glass of their wines, or a few bottles to go. Inside is exactly the rustic Texas meets Italy combination one hopes for, with ad hoc decor, minimalist furniture, and pops of color filling each wall. The order counter does double duty as the wine tasting spot. Takeout is available online. - Courtney E. Smith, editor for Eater’s Texas Region" - Erin Russell

Dog Park Canine Commons Changes Name to Wunderhund | Eater Austin

"I learned that Hill Country winery Summer Revival Wine Co., which has Oregon roots, is throwing a wine party with East Austin cafe Bento Picnic on Thursday, September 15 from 5:30 to 8 p.m.; the event pairs wines with dishes such as scallops and whipped eggplant, braised brisket, and chicken skewers, and tickets are $19 for wine only, $58 for food only, and $76 for both." - Nadia Chaudhury

New Tasting Room for Summer Revival Wines Opens in Dripping Springs | Eater Austin

"A small-production, minimal-intervention winery opened a tasting room at 665 West Highway 290 on Saturday, May 14; it is run by husband-and-wife winemakers Becky and Ian Atkins. The project focuses exclusively on Texas-grown fruit (their Portland-based brand will use Oregon and Washington grapes), and current offerings include a 2021 Pinot Grigio Ramato. The tasting room serves flights and wines by the glass from both labels and pairs them with a light snack menu featuring bread and pastries from a nearby bakery, a tinned fish plate, a cheese plate, conservas, and chocolates sourced from a local chocolatier. The space is indoor-only for now and is open noon–7 p.m. Thursday through Sunday, and the wines are also available at a South Congress retail/venue called the Meteor." - Erin Russell

Excellent lunch here yesterday! We were on our way to eat and passed by this place and decided to stop in here instead and so glad we did. It was incredible. The Revival Bowl was outstanding. Every bite was a little different which I loved - there were so many things in it I was picking up different combos with every bite. Still not sure which combo was my favorite. Everything was fresh and the sauce was delicious. I did not get a photo of Italian Sandwich but that was fantastic as well. Everyone was very friendly and food came out quickly. They have indoor and outdoor seating. So happy we found this place! Can't wait to try other items on the menu.

I’m well overdue to leave my fave place to eat in Dripping a review! We’ve been enjoying meals here ever since Becky and her team opened, and I am here to praise a few specific things: 1. The staff: Always attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and delightful! 2. Consistency: Every meal, monthly special and beverage we’ve enjoyed here has been fantastic, no notes. To be able to deliver such high quality food consistently is no small feat and the kitchen staff should get all the gold stars! 3. A restaurant for everyone: From picky eaters, to dietary restrictions, and yes, folks who DON’T drink alcohol, this is your place. But also the boozy options are great too! Special mentions: Being one of the few restaurants in Dripping open Sunday/Monday. And, if I had a wish list…a Saturday/Sunday brunch menu would be amazing. My 6 year old son is still missing the French toast you used to have! Thank you for being our family’s go to!

Google
Came to see what all the "fuss" was about of a sandwich shop. Well, fuss confirmed. Amazing food and spectacular taste combinations. I had the special Gaba Ghoul Grilled Cheese. It was incredible.

Google
Holy moly! Food looked delicious, tasted even better. Excellent and creative selection on one page menu -the drinks are also unusual and refreshing! Dessert, omgsh - the olive oil cake and s'mores rice krispy treat, my lands. Sat on patio with dog, but inside is super cute! 100% will be back

Google
Delicious food, great service, nice view. Will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend their pesto pasta salad bowl, Italian sub, and if in April 2025 their April chicken avocado bacon club.

Google
Really great service and tasty (scratch made) food in a super cute setting. So happy they are open on Sundays when noone else in our area is. I had the Cuban and my daughter had chicken salad, both great.

Google
Summer Revival was my very first stop, And from the moment I walked in, I didn’t want to drop The feeling in the air — it was cozy, it was bright, A perfect little place that instantly felt right. I ordered the 90s Turkey sandwich with a grin, Took one single bite and knew I’d surely win. The flavors were amazing, fresh, and packed with care, The best turkey sandwich that I’ve found anywhere. The workers were so kind, with smiles warm and true, They made the whole experience feel special through and through. I left with a full heart and a craving for more, One thing is for certain — I’ll be back, that’s for sure.

Yelp
The wine tastes great at Summer Revival and it's a great place to eat a small bite. Also, the wine is a lot brighter and less tannin-based than other wines than I'm used to so less likely to get a headache

Yelp
Second time in a week and so far so great! Brought a group of friends with me and gathered more pics of the food. Everyone loved it. The service was spectacular. I'm already planning bringing someone else in another week or so. Did i mention that olive oil cake???

Yelp
My girl friends and I were driving from San Antonio to Austin and decided to stop in Dripping Springs for lunch! We were at a stop light and spotted this cute restaurant. We pulled over and decided we'd grab a bite here! We had a wonderful experience! It was the perfect little lunch spot. They're relatively new too! The service was really great, very friendly and passionate people! It's the type of place you order up front and then take a seat. They have games, books, and puzzles you can play with at the table. Really cute atmosphere. They have a great lunch menu. I tried the Brussels sprouts Cesar salad with grilled chicken and their sourdough bread and it was amazing! I would definitely come back here. They have wine too that I didn't get to try, but next time, I'm definitely going to give it a try!

Yelp
We got two nice salads to go, a delicious white bean humus with crackers and a bottle of the red "summer revival" wine! Delicious on all fronts! We had our first glass in the shop. Darling atmosphere. Excellent service. We loved it! Saw their signage and pulled in. Glad we stopped!

Yelp
Love this place! The staff is amazing and friendly. I love getting lunch and a glass of wine and working there for a few hours. I wish they had more outdoor space so it could be easier to bring kids to play outside. But other than that its great.

Yelp
Ordered delicious bowls for an early dinner to go, Thai soba with Damon and farro bowl with sweet potato. Healthy, fresh, quality ingredients. We split the olive oil cake which was sublime.

Yelp
Stopped in for a wine tasting and a quick lunch bite (had the tuna toast). The staff were friendly and accommodating. Their wines are unique and the food was fresh and delicious. Definitely worth a visit.

Yelp
This place is truly awesome! The inside is SO cute, really aesthetic. The owners are so kind and welcoming, they own a winery in Portland as well. They make all their food (lunch & dinner) from scratch with all local product. We love a business who supports local! And of course...the food and wine are deliciousI had the smoked chicken sandwich and loved it. Bread was crispy and fresh, good ratio of ingredients. Definitely stop by for lunch or dinner if you have the chance!!

Yelp
Cute tasting room right across 290 from Crepe Crazy. If you buy a bottle they wave the tasting fee. We did the white wine tasting but I'd go back for the red wine tasting. I recommend you check it out!

Yelp
I'm always torn when writing reviews about my favorite places, because a part of me wants them all to myself! BUT this little gem of Dripping Springs is too good not to share. Great people, Amazing food, some of the best wines I've ever had, all packaged into cool little spot in the coolest town around.

Yelp
Washington State and Texas wines, nice food selection, very cozy seating area. Great service with food preparation done quickly, and quite tasty. Definitely make a stop here when you are in Dripping Springs!

Yelp
Interesting local and non local wines. Yummy bites and an easy laid back vibe. Dripping Springs needs this place! Highly recommend.

Yelp
Came here from out of town & absolutely loved it! The set up is unique and cozy. It makes you feel like you're at home in your own space. The coffee was good and the barista was open to suggesting some flavor pairings. Not a lot of staff but the ones we saw were very outgoing and seemed happy to be there.

Yelp
Great food, great atmosphere, great people. The staff was knowledgeable and very friendly. Had the Hummus bowl and it was amazingly good. The adult grilled cheese was delicious and perfectly grilled. The atmosphere is charming and comfortable. We had not been here before but will definitely go back and try other dishes.

Yelp
I just dropped in with my wife for a date night. We were really impressed by the locally grown/harvested food choices. I also had a flight and really enjoyed every glass. Already looking forward to the next time. We are so glad to know these great wines and foods are right here in Dripping!
