"A small-production, minimal-intervention winery opened a tasting room at 665 West Highway 290 on Saturday, May 14; it is run by husband-and-wife winemakers Becky and Ian Atkins. The project focuses exclusively on Texas-grown fruit (their Portland-based brand will use Oregon and Washington grapes), and current offerings include a 2021 Pinot Grigio Ramato. The tasting room serves flights and wines by the glass from both labels and pairs them with a light snack menu featuring bread and pastries from a nearby bakery, a tinned fish plate, a cheese plate, conservas, and chocolates sourced from a local chocolatier. The space is indoor-only for now and is open noon–7 p.m. Thursday through Sunday, and the wines are also available at a South Congress retail/venue called the Meteor." - Erin Russell
