"Summer Rolls is a Vietnamese spot in Rosemead with a menu of classic dishes like phở and rice vermicelli. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

"I go to this place called Summer Rolls in LA, that serves Vietnamese spring rolls with crispy egg rolls inside. They have like a sweet, thickened rice dipping sauce that they serve with it, but I’ll make my fiancé smuggle a bottle of hot sauce in with us, and dip the pork spring rolls directly into it." - Marian Bull

**A Hidden Gem of Authentic Vietnamese Cuisine** We came on a Saturday to enjoy some of our favorite dishes at the original Summer Roll location in Rosemead. This place has been around forever, and it's like coming home for a meal with family. We know the family that owns the restaurant, and they are always so friendly and welcoming. We had their *nam*, *bun bo hue* (pig foot noodle soup), *banh beo* (steamed rice cakes), and *banh xeo* (Vietnamese crepe with bean sprouts and seafood). The food is from the Hue region of Vietnam, and they do it so well—everything was flavorful, authentic, and delicious. While the decor here may not be as modern as their newer location in Temple City, this spot has that charm and authenticity that reminds you of a true family-run restaurant. We've admittedly neglected this location, but after this visit, we plan to come back more often. The food is excellent, and the warm, homey atmosphere makes the experience even better. Highly recommend if you're looking for a taste of genuine Vietnamese.

Very interesting rice bowl - Banh Beo, I don't think there are any in Northern California. Spring roll also different because inside radish has a sweet and sour taste, good match with pork , so testy ! Must try when you are around Arcadia Los Angeles !

This is the best place to get nem Nuong cuon( fermented pork roll) and Bánh Bèo(steamed rice cake with shredded dried shrimp, croutons and spring onion). The rolls came with the special thick dipping sauce and the steamed rice came with the fish sauce. They have other Vietnamese dishes as well. The Vietnamese crepe is also one of my favorites. The service was quick Ann’s efficient. The place is a bit small but they get you in and out quickly.

Ordered chicken and pork banh mi sandwiches; featured large chunks of well seasoned meat, fresh cilantro and veggies on both sandwiches. Price was a bit higher but expected for LA area. Ciabatti bread is unique use for banh mi but not bad; just unique.

The summer rolls were delicious. The customer service could be better/friendlier. We felt ignored but they were quite busy. They have a little parking lot on the side and the back of the building.

Popular Vietnamese restaurant. The food was good. They don’t have traditional pho there. The most popular dish seems to be the little dish with rice cakes. Most customers there are Vietnamese and almost every one was eating that rice cake dish.

Summer Rolls is a restaurant that offers authentic Vietnamese cuisine. They're located on the corner of Mission dr and Rosemead blvd. We came here for lunch on a cold, rainy weekend. Interior atmosphere was welcoming and very cozy. We were seated quickly. It's interior was well lit, spacious, very neat and organized. Dining area has that rustic wooden tables. We ordered their chef's special (Bun Bo Hue) beef shank noodle soup. It was flavorful and tasty. Your palate can definitely taste the beef flavor plus the squeezed lime and herbs. The white noodles (non-vermacilli) were really thick and long. Service was super fast (<7 mins). Staff were competent, accommodating, nice and professional. Prices were relatively fair and affordable. Free parking lot available. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience and therefore, we highly recommend this restaurant.
