"Sunny Spot certainly doesn’t have the best brunch in Venice, but we certainly don’t care. Somehow this place rides the line between tranquility and mimosa mayhem, which means it’s the perfect place to meet a few friends for a quick brunch, then end up sitting around drinking until you have to Uber home and pick your car up tomorrow. Why? For $18, you get bottomless mimosas, Bloody Marys, and rum punch. You’re definitely missing work on Monday." - Brant Cox

The food was pretty good but the vibe was a bit disappointing based on the reviews, particularly the outside patio. If you want to enjoy the music and more lively atmosphere I'd recommend sitting inside. The open air patio is nice if you want to enjoy your mimosa in the fresh air, but it's anticlimactic and has no views...not even of the street.

From the pictures of the food and place, it looks like a slightly better than average burger joint, but it's not. Best way to describe it is a poor man's Superba.. they go out of their way to make the best drinks possible, and though the menu is not as diverse as Superba's, everything was pretty tasty. Now the dish I got, the tofu scramble, was a little bland. The waiter asked what I thought of it as it was new on the menu. I said it was good... (but it was bland. Can't really enjoy something like that without hot sauce).. I am giving it 5 stars because I got whiplash looking at all the dishes. I'm pretty sure the Avocado toast would have been way better than what I ordered.. and I am definitely going back.

Atmosphere is really nice, outside seating is where the vibes are for brunch. French toast is incredibly full of flavor as well as the breakfast burrito. The El Camino was tasty but can sneak up on you from its strength, and the Mimosas & Bloody Mary's were on point!

Location: the restaurant was In a good location. However, if you cannot find street parking they have valet parking for $10. You pay when you leave the restaurant. Staff: the staff was friendly. Our server didn’t seem to know the menu very well so I am not sure if she was new. For instance we ordered a burger and asked if it came with anything and she said no but when it arrived it had fries. There was also some miscommunication as it relates to the check but it was rectified within 10 minutes. Tables: when we arrived we originally sat outside which was nice but it was really cold so we moved inside. The table setup is pretty nice. The seating inside is on barstools. The seating outside is on wooden benches and metal chairs. Food: I’ll start with the chips and salsa. They were good and that’s pretty much one of the only tasty items on the menu. We ordered a cheeseburger(regular and chili) the fries were good and the burger was good but it seemed a bit under cooked so it would’ve helped if our server asked our preference. We also ordered tacos but they were very dry. My husband and brother ordered the Teriyaki beef and the garlic shrimp bowl they both said that it could’ve been better. Overall, we didn’t enjoy the food. The cost was not worth it. We wouldn’t visit again if and when we come back to LA.

First time in this place. Delicious food, great cocktails and nice atmosphere. Definitely I will come back with my girl friends. Rare that they not busy in a Friday night.

Food selection was decent, plenty there for the savory and sweet people in the world. I do appreciate that you can mix and match your bottomless drink choices during brunch. No need to stick to one kind of drink.

Great brunch location off Washington Blvd going towards venice boardwalk. Its hidden but they have great food and a lovely patio area shaded by trees. The food was yummy. $20 bottomless mimosas and rum punch. Fun place to chill with friends and start or end a weekend.

Great atmosphere, accessible service and strong bloody mary cocktails. Mostly a breakfast brunch spot.
