Sunny's Pizzeria

A buddy of mine wanted to try this place out so we gave it a go. The limited inside seating and outside seating actually fit this laid back atmosphere. Service was knowledgeable and friendly. We had that Bittersweet Symphony and each selected a beverage. My buddy chose from the tap and I ventured for the mystery beer soda machine, both beverages were tasty. The pizza was fantastic with no one topping overpowering the taste. Presentation was great, taste was great, no flop. The large is close to a medium at most other places and so the pricing may seem on the high side. The taste was great, so you have to decide if it’s worth it or not. I would go again.

Ya baby! want pizza? This is the bomb. Fast service and really good. super small (cozy) place but plenty of room to sit with friends. Will be back for more. Parking seems hard but just park a few spaces down the block, it's only another few seconds walk to the door. Don't know if they have delivery. Dog friendly atmosphere is really cool. They also have a good choice of drinks available.

We had a need for dinner but also had our dog with us. When we saw they had a cauliflower crust and they allowed dogs, we had to try it. Now, I will make an effort to go more frequently to have a good dinner and spend time with my dog in the outside world. All patrons visiting were all very supportive of my overly shy dog as we came in and all were happy to see her. They even had free dog treats at the counter! We ordered two pizzas and they were out in just a few minutes. They were so hot and delicious! I do recommend! I have a feeling this will become a favorite dinner spot!

They invited me to participate in the pizza lab. Voting on possible new menu items was thrilling! Great atmosphere and fun interactive night.

I love Sunny's. Their menu is super creative. The atmosphere is my favorite - kind of a hole in the wall experience. The staff has always been friendly. I love their "cracker" thin like crust. I also love the dine in and take out options. Just gotta say if you get the vibe, you'll love this place just like I do. Despite the negative reviews that say "just buy a frozen pizza" -- this is a far better, more unique pizza experience that you can't get from a frozen pizza, and it's local.

Best place to eat in Sioux Falls!!! The service was excellent. We ordered takeout and the gentleman that took our order was super friendly and helped us narrow down our choices to the BLT OMG! And OMG it did not disappoint. It was hot out of the oven when we got there and we couldn't wait to tear into it. We did have to take a quick look around before we left and the atmosphere was super fun and inviting. You could look around all night and not see all the pictures and stickers on the wall. Make sure to grab some stickers or a hat to remember your visit although you won't need to because the pizza is very memorable. I can't wait to go back and try another one but this time we're going to dine in so we can try some of their local beers on tap and soak in some more of the colorful character Sunny's Pizzeria has to offer. Well done!!

Super engaging and friendly staff who really seem to love what they do and turn out a great product in the process. My wife and I ordered a 1/2 BB-COO Chicken and 1/2 Bacon Cheeseburger pizza and it was really good. They have many others listed on their menu too which look great.

The mystery beer vending machine is awesome. The owner made it himself. The atmosphere is awesome, very friendly, and laid back. Music choices are great as well, very tasteful. They also have a sega genesis, 2 dreamcast's and boardgames to play while you wait. The food both looks and tastes amazing. I will definitely be coming here again.

The epitome of 5 for me. We're just in Sioux Falls for a few days, so I can't speak to how it compares to other options but... 1. The pizza was excellent. Not "good for the price," but objectively good. We had the BB-Coo Chicken, highly recommend! 2. The girl who made it was super personable, like she truly enjoys the place. Great communication when I called to order and accurate because when I showed up to pick up, there was less than a minute left. She was charismatic and enthusiastic, even while she never stopped working. 3. I was only in the place for a minute. It's small but sooooo cool! Old school video and arcade games. If your husband grew up in the 90's, and you send him for pickup, he may take a couple hours. Great pizza, tremendous experience and service. The kind of place I'd go out of my way to return to if/when I'm anywhere near Sioux Falls.

Cute, comfy and had amazing food! Friendly staff and plenty of games to keep you busy while you wait for your food.

The food was delish. The crust is thin and crispy. Definitely better than a chain place. Small and homey. Comfortable environment and we will comeback.

Good, thin, crunchy crust. Ordered takeout. I do wish they offered delivery options. Easy online ordering. Have not eaten inside. Clever and unique combinations of toppings - delicious and balanced.

My husband and I shared a pizza. His half was the Best Case, Wurst Case. My half is a build your own with pepperoni & bacon. Definitely the best thin crust pizza I've had and in the top favorites in pizza overall.

Gosh this is a cool local place, super thin crust was very good, crisp and lightly brown on the bottom but not over cooked. Complemented the big flavors on my pizza. Alfredo sauce is really an experience. So creamy! Gonna be back to try some more flavors. They have some really cool creations! Fun retro games and the disco ball in the bathroom made me giggle, great music playing too. Super friendly service, and a sampling of local beers too. Fun fun yum yum!

This is a pretty small place, and the ambiance is really fun and eclectic. The staff is so laid back and friendly. And they have a really diverse selection of pizzas! We spent like $35 on two large pizzas and two beers. I think all of the crust is the same. It's that thin, almost crispy crust, which is my personal favorite. Well worth the price, in my opinion! The only reason this place isn't getting a 5 is because it was pretty warm in there. It was a really hot day and the little AC couldn't keep up. Overall, really good experience though.

Need better parking. Pizza crust tasted like cardboard. Very skimpy with the toppings. They had no ice the day we were there. No bottled water and the fountain pop didn't work. We were given a glass with tap water. They were not busy and it still took over 30 minutes to get our food. There is no "atmosphere". Just an old, rickety building with a mural painted on the outside. Will not go back again.

I like the location and vibe. The place was fun and hip. I appreciate the thought that went into the speciality pizzas. But the crust was cardboard. Thin, crisp, all crunch. The toppings were nice and the cheese was good. The price was fair, but the two sizes are limiting. But I'm telling you, the crust is the most important part of a pizza and this is a big no thanks.

We shared a medium pepperoni and sausage pizza today. Loved the thin crust. Will go again.

It was just okay IMO. Great location and stop for college crowd as it's walking distance from university. 3 medium pizzas ordered were TINY and were $52 total. See pictures. Pizza crust sitting behind the counter where pizza was prepped were stacked and appeared pre bought. Nothing like the dough you would see at the former Pizza Rev or Red Rossa that used to be in town.

Worst pizza ever had, they don't give the ingredients that they advertise, called them, they didn't even offer to replace it. He just said sorry. I advise you to go to a local chain like Pizza Hut Domino's Papa John's. At least they care about what they do and how they do it.

This new pizzeria is awesome! A group from work went there and we all ordered different pizzas to share. They were all awesome! AND... they're dog friendly!!

It was okay. The crust is no better than a frozen pizza from the grocery store. If they upgrade the crust or, bring the price down I'd give it more stars. Too expensive for basically a frozen pizza. The toppings were good though it's just the crust that needs to be improved. Probably won't be back.

Stopped in for lunch passing through town on family road trip and was very happy with my lunch time local craft beer and some delicious thin crust pizza. Very light pizza and ordered a second pizza for the road for our remaining 8 hours of driving. Really good pizza and definitely recommend.

I have been so excited to try this new pizza joint in Sioux Falls as I'm obsessed with pizza. We ordered a Large Pepperoni with Sunnys Sauce and a Large Mushroom with Sunnys Sauce. The pizza is made on a pretty thin crust. At first glance I thought the large was more of a medium size but I'm used to getting a really large pizza at my favorite spot in Denver. I'm going to rave about the Sunnys Sauce. Yum, it's a tomato based sauced with just the right amount of heat! My mom has a sensitive pallet and you would have thought I sprinkled ghost peppers by how spicy she thought it was but for me, it was amazing. As pictured, I think they were a little skimpy on the mushroom topping. Overall, I did enjoy the pizza and I enjoy supporting local businesses so I'll probably order again but not my favorite pizza in town.

How this place doesn't have hundreds of rave reviews amazes me. Great tasting pizza, innovative menu options, kind service, and the dopest stickers/merch. If you're in Sioux Falls you gotta check this place out! Long live Sunny's.

Sioux Falls needs more places like Sunnys Pizza. It's a neighborhood pizza joint with good food and a neighborhood feel. These neighborhood places make Sioux Falls more livable and feel more urban. Support local.
