"Chicken pakora, or fried chicken in a spiced batter, landed on Irving Street alongside a robust and delicious new menu when late-night go-to Naan N’ Curry flipped into Sunset Indian Cuisine in early February 2024. Unlike some of the standout restaurants on this list, big dishes can cost a bit more but they’re well worth the price. A few of those majestic dishes include tandoori shrimp, running just over $20, and a massive two-person thali including an array of chicken tikka masala, lamb boti, and gulab jamun goes for about $50." - Dianne de Guzman, Paolo Bicchieri, Eater Staff

I ordered from this restaurant after being disappointed with another restaurant nearby this one. I have to say that the food was a big difference than what I got from the other place last night. Both the chicken vindaloo and the jeera aloo were very good. For dessert I ordered the Kheer Rice Pudding and Gulab Jamun. The Gulab Jamun was very soft and okay but definitely could be way better. It was edible but I wouldn't jump up to order it again. The Kheer Rice Pudding was okay as well but I would only order again if nothing else is opened.

10/2024 Yum! 👍Samosa! It's the bomb! The aroma gushed out once the knife cut through it! Also, crust is comparatively thin, and also not greasy. 👍Himalayan Goat Curry! Meat is so tender it falls off the bone. The sauce is a perfect match for naan. The spices used taste better than many other places. ♡ Gluten free naan available! ♡ Very friendly service ♡ Beer on taps ♡ Gulab jamon served warm!!! ♡ Casual yet cozy. Table linens! ♡ Very reasonable prices for some amazing noms ☆ If you can avoid peak dining hours which are 12pm&7pm. FYI, they are open daily 10AM to 1AM.

Very good food items. I eat the chicken biriyani. It was delicious. The amount of food is also good. More than enough for one person. My friends took Karai chicken, tandoori chicken, garlic nan and soup. Those things were also yummy. The sweetmeat were very very good. They were made by themselves. The behavior of the restaurant owner and the personnel are very polite and helpful. I personally recommend this restaurant in SF. (But unfortunately, I forgot to take the picture of the foods)

I love that this is a late night option! we had a great feast here, the service was lovely and the food was delicious. The portions are much larger than expected so we over ordered but got to take home 3+ servings worth of leftovers. There are so many things on the menu I’d like to try but we really enjoyed the chicken curry, daal, garlic naan, raita, samosa, and papadam.
