The Eater Margarita Map: Where to Drink Margaritas in Nashville | Eater Nashville

"This cozy Tex-Mex restaurant nestled in the Gulch is off the beaten path, but it’s worth finding. The jalapeno margarita is a favorite here, and they have other unique flavors like ginger, hibiscus and even pickle. The chips and salsas won’t last long on the table, so be sure to put in an order of fajitas — whose proteins range from catfish to carnitas — quickly. Superica offers lunch, dinner, and brunch on weekends, and has an awesome open-air patio." - Bailee Mulder

Evelyn’s Opens its Doors With Steak Tartare and Towering Sundaes - Eater Nashville

"Superica’s Gulch location is celebrating Mezcal Week with a focus on the smokey, agave-based Mexican spirit through unique mezcal cocktails, mezcal flights, and food pairing suggestions. The mezcal cocktail menu shines a light on the complex spirit through cocktails like the Dessert in the Desert made with mezcal, Kahlua, cream, banana syrup, and mole bitters; the Mezcal Margarita with mezcal, triple sec, and fresh lime juice; and The Highwayman, a riff off the Old-Fashioned using mezcal, mole bitters, and coffee beans." - Jackie Gutierrez-Jones

Superica Review - Cumberland - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"There’s a lot we like about the Battery’s Superica. For one, the lengthy bar is generally a vibe. Two, the spiked slushie of the day never disappoints. And three, the versatile menu has options for when we’re super hungry (the grilled steak- and double enchilada-plated Tampiqueña) or just feel like snacking (Campechana de Mariscos is what shrimp cocktail dreams to be one day). We’ll just call the chicken Tacos Al Carbon a filling entrée that deliciously falls somewhere in between." - DeMarco Williams

Where to Eat on Monday in Nashville | Eater Nashville

"One of the last restaurants standing from a time when Nashvillians never thought to dine in the Gulch, Sambuca offers live music nightly and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating." - Delia Jo Ramsey

Where to Eat Queso in Nashville | Eater Nashville

"Ford Fry’s Gulch temple of Tex-Mex offers a rainbow of choices for cheese-fiends: with four classic queso options and four variations of queso fundido. The compuesto is a popular choice — with the addition of picadillo, guacamole, and sour cream to the Tex-Mex gold standard, American cheese. Open for dine-in, patio dining, and takeout with online ordering and curbside pickup." - Delia Jo Ramsey
