I accidentally saw Sushi One. Lots of people come here. I thought it was a good sign of a great place. The atmosphere inside is not conducive to sitting for a long time. But you will quickly get your sushi to go and enjoy it at home. Very tasty!

It's fast and good price. But at the expense of quality. The rice is subpar, dry and the fish is low grade and quality. Think grocery store Sushi. Recommend tune up the rice. High grade and keep it fresh and not dried out. Get a better rice cooker or put more attention to it. The fish is cheap as are the prices and that makes sense. Rice is an easy fix.

Very fresh, tasty, and cheap sushi. And also absolutely incredible salmon teriyaki - savory, soft, and packed with umami. In all their sushi, they put a very good amount of fish and the fish tasted super fresh. Our favorite roll was the dynamite roll. In total for a California roll it's only like $6, can't beat that. The people who work there are also super sweet - I highly recommend this place!

Sushi One is hands down the best spot for fresh, high-quality sushi at unbeatable prices! The rolls are always packed with flavor, the fish is incredibly fresh, and the portions are generous. You won’t find better sushi for this price anywhere else. The service is fast and friendly, making every visit a great experience. The best sushi! If you know, you know about them. They have a following... I've been coming here for about 15 years. The sushi is fresh and delish, the place is simple and clean, and the people are friendly. It is a quick takeout place with a few tables.

MY FAVORITE SUSHI PLACE!!! Legit the best in the game when it comes to cheap and good sushi. Plus you are supporting local! GREAT prices and BIG pieces- - you can tell by my photos I order from here often... They are big pieces and they are prob the best price you will find. They are speedy to whip up your order- great spot to swing through for lunch breaks. They also deliver... They let you do add ons and customization to any roll. Legit this is where it's at. so yummy.

Food is amazing for the price! Definitely fresh. Only wish they had inside seating there were 2 tables but perfect for take out!

It's a pretty good "hole-in-the-wall" kinda place. Managed by a nice and friendly lady, always with a smile, but hard to get a smile from the sushi-chef ;-]# ...food is great, place is small & tight -only 3 small round tables to sit 10 and slim hallway to place your order. Dècor is not the best and outdated, but heck, your coming here for the food ...and it is good! ...so if you're in for good sushi at great price, Sushi One is the place to be.

Amazing service, yummy sushi and great prices. Everything is fresh and very tasty. I just moved to Fort Lauderdale about 2 months ago and have already been here over 10 times already.

I've heard good things about Sushi One so, as a self-appointed sushi enthusiast, I knew I had to try. It's a small, quaint spot located in a plaza, so parking is easy. The prices of sushi, especially the offered sushi combos, is a huge selling point. And at those great prices, the sushi is awesome. It tasted fresh and the sushi rice had a great texture and chew. We got the shrimp shumai, sushi combo 10 (because it comes with my favorite: JB roll), salmon nigiri, and another sushi combo that came with spicy tuna maki, salmon maki, and hamachi maki. Everything was really fantastic. I understand the love for Sushi One now, and I'm sure so will others once they give it a try.

So many times I have driven past Sushi One Take-out and mentally made plans to stop there to try the sushi. Well I made it a point to come here as soon as I got off from work. Located in the Palm Court Pavilion, Sushi One Take-out is a compact business that offers the following: · Roll combinations/specialty roll · Nigiri/hosomaki · Appetizers/bento box · Soups/noodle soups · Party platters There's a menu taped on the glass by the entrance so I took a few minutes to look at it and made my decision. I noticed the long line of people and asked the man standing by the door if he was standing in line. He said no he was waiting on his order. Apparently everyone standing against the wall was waiting. Okay...I had to squeeze myself past everyone down the narrow walkway to place my order. It was a bit of a wait, but eventually I was able to order some California roll and Gyoza. My order was ready within 5-10 minutes. I wasn't able to sit inside and eat cause they was about to close soon so I sat in my vehicle. The California roll was freshly made and was delicious. The only thing that spoiled it was the salty soy sauce. The Gyoza was also well prepared, but the sauce given was a bit salty. I'm taking off a star for the salty sauces since Yelp doesn't do half stars. If I was to get sushi from this place again, I'm gonna ask if they have low sodium soy sauce. $5 for 8pc sushi roll was not bad.

The rolls are pretty big, and delicious! Super friendly and quick service. I definitely recommend. There are two tables inside in case taking out isn't an option for you. Easy parking too!

Always my go to favorite for sushi takeout. The quality is excellent for the price point. Service is always so quick and convenient. I've been going to this gem for years. Highly recommend their bento box with chicken katsu. Combo #11 n 7 are my go to. Also, their chicken udon n surprisingly flavorful if you're in the mood for soup.

Always great sushi! And it's been in business for so long. The customer service is quick and always friendly. Whenever I'm in the area, I always find an excuse to stop in and get my favorite roll and seaweed salad.

I absolutely loved this spot. I got the #13 which is a hamachi roll, salmon roll and spicy tuna roll. I also got 2 salmon and 2 hamachi nigiri. The fish was so fresh and delicious I will definitely be back!

The prices are unbeatable here for the quality of food and convenience that you get! This is situated in a bustling plaza right in the center of downtown Fort Lauderdale and when we walked in, there was no line. They have lots of food options, both sushi and hot food, and there are pictures all over the walls to give you an idea of what you are getting. I tried the Gyoza and the New times roll and they were both delicious, i would say the gyoza was the standout. My friend also had the chicken curry special and for $7.70 with chicken rice and veggies and a full side of curry sauce u can't go wrong. I will totally be back!!

The best quick, easy and affordable sushi spot. They have a variety of rolls and plates, all at great prices & taste very fresh. They have a few tables - but I always get to go.

Cute spot for quick and affordable sushi. It looks like a mom&pop shop but I'm not sure what the story behind it is. If you want quick, fresh, and affordable sushi I'd definitely check them out! They were quick with the order. If I'm ever in the area I'd definitely stop by. I got the New times roll and Banzai roll with two ikura nigiris. The total coast was $29!

This is a great hole in the wall sushi place in downtown FTL. Nestled in a shopping plaza next to a busy highway, it has a lot of foot traffic but still pretty easy to find parking. It's a family owned restaurant and the service is always nice. Not a table service restaurant but there are a couple do tables inside and 2 more outside where you can sit and eat. This is mainly a low priced take out place. Sushi is great but they also have weekly specials and bento boxes.

If you want fresh and delicious straight to the point sushi to-go, this is the one for you! Not only did I get a soup and three sushi rolls for right around $25 including tax, I also got wonderful service. They don't nickel and dime you for side sauces, your food will be ready quickly, but it will also embody integrity. Sushi one, I'll be back for you!

As far as I know, this is the most LEGIT sushi place in South Florida. First of all, it operating by Japanese family. And the quality is amazing. Taste is exceptional. And the price is unbelievable! Go and try. This is THE MUST list in my book.

Great sushi, fresh, and flavorful. For such a small place they've got quite a variety and they also have a handful of sake choices as well. You can eat in or you can take it with you. The two times I've been here, it's really busy with takeout orders. Staff is friendly. I thought it was a great value for my money. Whenever I'm visiting South Florida again I'll be sure to stop in.

So super cute hole-in-the-wall sushi spot for takeout, very quick and good for lunch if you're on a time crunch nearby. Quality for price was very good, it was inexpensive but felt fresh. Menu selection good as well.

Reasonable price, Japanese owned. Owner and staffs are very polite, and they work fast! Lots of different combos, so one gets to taste varieties. Their Tuesday special is Chicken Katsu with potato salad, rice and miso soup. Only $8!!!!!! Topping on dynamite roll is not baked like other stores'.

Sushi One is a takeout restaurant. Plenty of free parking, in a CVS lot. The service is quick and the fish always fresh!! Since moving to FtL, 12 yrs ago, this is our favorite take out place. We order from them so often and they never disappoint.

This little place is unassuming and honestly looks closed from the outside. It's a no frills sushi shop that looks like it's been here since the building was built. The staff are very friendly and have quick service. It's some of the CHEAPEST sushi I've seen in a while that doesn't compromise on taste or quality. The gyoza were freshly fried and cooked up and were super tasty. The California rolls were good as was the rainbow rolls. The udon soup wasn't a favorite of my friends but wasn't the worst we've ever had. It doesn't help she wanted wanton soup but got chicken udon cause it's what they had. The inside of the store smells of fish badly so if you don't enjoy the smell definitely recommend waiting outside for your food. There is a small dining table outside of the restaurant you can enjoy your food at. They post on the front door their special of the week.

I was visiting from NY and decided to get some sushi and this place is worth the hype! My first time trying scallop nigiri 10/10. The rolls are fresh and delicious. The prices are fare. The staff is absolutely incredible and so friendly! I also went twice in one day so you should definitely check it out! i also inhaled the food so unfortunately no pic. But so delicious!

Sushi is great. Only complaint is their dynamite roll is not baked seafood. It's canned tuna and mayo. I ordered a rainbow roll expecting raw fish on top and essentially got a cali roll with tuna salad on top.

This is the go-to sushi spot. I live 22 miles away but will drive here for sushi. The team here is family and takes pride in their food, and it shows. Give them a chance you won't be disappointed it's primarily a take out place, but don't let that fool ya they have amazing fresh sushi brought in daily, and I honestly haven't had a bad dish. And the prices compared to other places can't be beat. Try them out, you won't be disappointed!!!

Best sushi in Fort Lauderdale, and not the bargain you might expect from the modest look of the place. Sushi One is consistently (I've been coming for 20 years)fresh, high quality and authentic. I miss the regular availability of uni, since this was the only place in town other than Sushi Song that had great uni.

The staff were very rude during our visit. The building is small and unwelcoming. When we entered we didn't have time to look over the menu because were rushed to place our order. After receiving the order we opened the plate to learn that there had been a cucumber slice with a bite taken out placed on the salad. My husband and I were polite for the entire interaction and cannot understands how this happened. I will also be reporting this business to the Health Department. I do not recommend anyone visiting for their safety.

You guys!!! This place is just a short walk from my apartment. I happened to see it while at CVS the other day and checked out the Yelp page and saw the very high rating for a place that's only take out sushi. It immediately made my list of places to try and I was not disappointed! The rolls were very affordable and so fresh! I love that you can watch them make it while you're waiting. We got 2 Shrimp Tempura Rolls, which were delightful and only $5 each! I saw so many pictures of the New Times Roll so I had to try it. It was absolutely delicious. This place is not a secret! It was packed in there with people ordering and waiting to pick up on a Monday night. I recommend calling in your order ahead. We will definitely be back! Maybe even this week :)

These are my favorite kinds of finds The holy trinity of food joints for me 1) Friendly service 2) amazing price point without sacrificing quality 3) delicious food that leaves you satisfied and happy The dumplings were so freaking good that I ate them in my car outside before we even got home. It was nice to have a beef dumpling instead of the usual pork or shrimp. Where they save on overhead, Sushi One delivers tasty, fresh sushi for low prices. The combos are great! My usual go-to's are the #7 (sub wahoo for masago) and #14. Can't say I'm a fan of the tempura drops, but I add my own store-bought panko flakes to Take Out rolls for the extra crunch and they're great with a drizzle of their eel sauce! Also nice now they have jalapeño we can add to any roll. Would like to see uni back on the menu when it's in season.

First review of 2021! I have been looking for a new go to sushi spot that delivers. Based off the reviews I figured I would give Sushi one a try. To be clear the sushi is good for what it is. Solid Sushi for a good price. Mine was a tad bit over salted but I would give this place another go. Quick delivery and follows instructions.

The service was amazing, the food was great, and the amount of food for the dollar was outstanding. Can't wait to go back.

This place has been here for well over a decade, which is practically forever for South Florida restaurants. Years ago after a visit to the Museum of Discovery and Science, this is where I took my daughter to have her first California roll, and she has loved sushi ever since. Sushi One has a no frills interior but they are all about serving up inexpensive sushi. Normally there are a few outside tables and chairs but they have been rolled up to focus on getting people in and out quickly. They request that you wear a mask when stepping inside. In addition to assortment of rolls and nigiri they also offer bento boxes, soup, and salad. I ordered a chicken bento box that came with chicken Teriyaki, miso soup, salad, rice, and seaweed salad ($6.80), a small salad chock full of vegetables with ginger dressing ($2.50), California roll ($4.00), and a shrimp tempura roll ($5.00). For twenty dollars I had a feast. They were very busy which is always a good sign at a sushi place. As I waited I watched all the delivery people from Door Dash and Delivery Dudes dash in and scoop up orders. My food was ready quickly and I was soon on my way. This visit reminded me how much I like this place. If you are in the downtown Ft. Lauderdale area come to this beloved locals sushi spot and see why they have been able to stick around for so long.

I have order food from them in the last 2 weeks . And like always really good . I used google yesterday to order and it worked great . Food was ready when I got there . You have to wear a mask to pick your food up . When we called to order to pick up . We had to wait a little to go pay and they star to make it . So I think is better to use and online order for now.

Within walking distance to work, Sushi One Take Out is very popular amongst my coworkers. Time and time again I've heard plenty of praise for it, yet I had never visited. Well, until last week anyway. The place is small. Maybe a couple of tables inside, a couple more outside. Definitely a no frills joint where it's best to order take out. I mean, it does indeed live out to its name in that sense. Given that it's in near downtown Fort Lauderdale, the lunch crowds can be massive. If you don't want to wait, you're best calling ahead, ordering, and even paying by phone. Seriously, I did that and didn't even have to wait a minute. Easy peasy. I ordered a miso soup and a Mexican roll. Portions were beyond generous, particularly for the miso soup. I was impressed by both the size and flavor. Truly one of the best miso soups I've had. The Mexican roll came with wasabi, ginger, and soy sauce. They had it neatly packed in a container and I didn't even have to ask for chopsticks or napkins. They did a great job prepping everything. Fresh, cheap, hearty. I spent what? $11 - I think for all this glory. Because yes, it is glorious. Where else do you find this quality for this price in this area? Honestly I concur with my coworkers. This joint is worthy of mighty high praise. Go, you'll love it.

I have been coming here for almost 20 years now. It's the same family owners greeting you. Super fresh, super efficient, and the fastest live sushi rollers I've seen. Somehow through all these years they have also managed to keep their prices surprisingly low.

I was looking for a good lunch spot to have a good meal at and this place was on my radar. I was impressed by the cheap prices and the overall reviews this place had. I came during lunch and it wasn't busy at all. I had a teriyaki salmon bento box and it was roughly around seven dollars. The salmon itself was a nice piece and very long. It also came with miso soup and a side salad. Overall I thought it was pretty decent and for the price you can't beat that.
