"Mille crêpe cakes with twenty layers await at this bakery cafe in the Sunset. Flavors range from Southeast Asian-influenced pandan and durian to some inspired by name-brand snacks like Oreo and Biscoff. Every spongy crêpe layer is glued to the next with rich cream, and most slices are topped with crumbled cookies, herbs, or a drizzle of sauce. If you’re lucky enough to see the sweet corn basque cheesecake or kaya toast in the display case, get them immediately. When the fog’s burned off for the day, eat your slices on their uncovered back patio." - julia chen 1, patrick wong, ricky rodriguez

"Tenderloin dessert shop Sweet Glory has opened another location in the Inner Sunset. You’ll find mille crepe and chiffon cakes with Asian flavors like pandan coconut, taro, thai tea, matcha, and durian. And you can always take your slices (or whole cake) on the go, or if you simply can't wait, find a seat inside or on the small back patio. We recently checked out Sweet Glory and added it to our Hit List." - ricky rodriguez, julia chen 1

"Now that this Tenderloin dessert shop has expanded to a new Sunset location, there's double the opportunity to eat their mille crêpe cakes. While the menu at the Avenues outpost is exactly the same as the original—with at least 15 flavors of 20-story high mille crêpe cakes, seasonal cheesecakes, and fancy toasts—you’ll find a lot more seating and a sunny back patio. There’s no wrong order at the Asian-leaning dessert shop, though your stomach might pen a strongly worded letter if you skip the slices of ube, Biscoff, or pandan mille crêpe. And if you’re lucky enough to get here before the sweet corn basque cheesecake sells out, get that too." - julia chen 1, ricky rodriguez, patrick wong

Amazing service!!! Every employee is really nice! 😊 the first impression is when I went in the smell really takes you in and makes you eat every bread. I tried the cream danish and literally its a amazing and melts in your mouth. The taro crepe cake and the strawberry one are amazing!! The crepe cakes are a little bit expensive $12 each bit worth it. The drinks are big and good price. The ambience is nice and relaxing. The place is small and parking not very available.

I actually rarely came to tenderloin, but heard the " homeless tents cleaned up or no funding project" before election so I came. I have to say the cake is so good especially the taro cake, but the whole bakery is so messy and even the toilet is quite scary. And half of the place was storage and look so bad. The staff somehow look always in a bad mood but well mannered, so I guess she's just naturally serious face. What a pity for the quality of the dessert.

I am truly delighted to have discovered the delectable cream puffs at this establishment. They are undoubtedly the finest I have ever tasted in the San Francisco Bay Area. One box is simply not enough to satisfy my cravings. The Sweet Glory is crafted to perfection, striking a harmonious balance of sweetness, creaminess, and fluffy, soft dough. Every bite is an exquisite experience, as the flavors and textures melt in my mouth. Furthermore, this establishment offers an impressive variety of crepe cakes and the finest espresso. The ambiance of the cafe is charming and relaxing, providing a welcome respite in the Tenderloin area.

Google
Cute spot with creative Asian flavor combinations for their toasts, cakes, and beverages! Aesthetically pleasing sweet treats and good customer service— perfect spot for those with a sweet tooth seeking out interesting flavors like their pandan coconut mille crepe cake and iced salted egg yolk latte :) limited seating but a wonderful tenderloin business that I will be returning to soon!

Tasty desserts in a nice cafe. This dessert cafe is small, but has enough seating. The prices are kind of high and it doesn't quite fit in to the neighborhood, because it's a more modern-looking place, designed for social media. There are seats and tables indoor and outdoors, and aesthetic objects and plants. The desserts are fairly priced, in my opinion. Their pastries are less expensive than the crepe cakes, if you'd like something more affordable. There is a restroom which also functions as a storage room. The staff were very welcoming. I had a slice of Earl Grey Mille Crepe Cake and it was sweetened just enough. It looked nice and tasted great. The Earl Grey flavor wasn't very strong. My total was $10.86 after tax. I was told by one of the staff that their food is made fresh daily. Overall, I recommend checking out this cafe. Everything is pleasant.

Sometimes you just find a place that is unexpected in an unexpected neighborhood and it becomes life-altering… OK, it’s a bit dramatic, but finding this bakery in the Tenderloin changes my mind on whether it’s worth venturing into this neighborhood for a piece of cake! First off, the store is quite charming. The staff are very friendly and engaging as well. We decided to try a few things, as there is quite a bit of selection. We deliberated on the crepe cake as they aren’t cheap, about $12 per slice, so we thought “go big or go home”, so we went with the Creamy Durian Crepe Cake and the Pandan Chiffon cake, both very Asian-centric flavors. So point #1: these cakes are worth EVERY cent! The Creamy Durian isn’t some gimmick, this is almost as good as having fresh durian! The flavor is so authentic, you’d almost think you were in SE Asia eating a fresh piece of durian. It is just that good! Point #2: The Pandan Chiffon cake is no slouch either. The young coconut shreds in the cream layers and the Pandan makes for such an exotic pairing, it literally whisked me away to my time of when I lived in the Philippines. So freakin’ good! Point #3: The Cappuccino is on point and goes well with anything ordered here. This little shop offers up so many fine desserts and I only scraped the surface… I can’t wait to try everything else offered up here!

Google
Cute cafe with desserts and pastries. I came here for an afternoon pick me up and a slice of crepe cake. There were many flavors of cake to choose from that I had trouble deciding. I ended up getting the pandan coconut Mille crepe cake and a hot americano black to pair with it. The crepe cakes are $10 each which is standard compared to Lady M Cakes. The coconut paired with pandan was amazing, not too sweet, creamy, and layered perfectly. Paired with the black coffee, chefs kiss. Check this cute place out!

Google
Just perfect. The ones I tried so far: strawberry, tiramisu, cookies & cream (oreos), and mango. The mango one is by far the best cake I’ve tried in my life. Their crepe cakes are not too heavy nor too sugary like most cakes and they’re all so fresh and light. I’m in love! The banana bread is also amazing and in a perfect cute little size. Coffee is also at the same level of perfection as their cakes. Staffs were friendly and welcoming. I love the overall vibe inside. They don’t have much tables but for a tiny little space, it’s just right. This by far is my top 1 cafe, beating Maison Danel as my top 2 which is just few blocks from each other. I definitely will come back.

Yelp
I was able to visit the tenderloin location a few times before they closed. The cafe was cute and had a good amount of seating. The staff were friendly as well. We ordered crepe cakes every time we go and they never fail. I like how they have a good variety of cakes. My favorite so far has been the matcha flavor.

Connor M.

Yelp
Sweet Glory has a good variety of crepe cakes that you can try. I ordered 2 slices with my wife and they were both great. We would definitely would like to try it again. When you order take out, they put the slices in a box that has a handle. My wife thought that the box was cute. The inside of the cafe has seating and is clean. However, the location is in Tenderloin so it might feel unsafe getting to the location.

Yelp
My friend and I were in SF for the weekend and craving something sweet. We had never tried crepe cakes before, so we decided to check this place out! Ambiance: 5/5 This cafe is super cute and aesthetic! The front area is a little cramped, but there's a hidden path leading to a spacious seating area in the back. It's a great spot to relax and enjoy your treats. Service: 5/5 The staff were genuinely so nice! Even though it was busy during the noon rush, they were attentive, and our cakes came out in a reasonable time. Food: 5/5 The cakes and drinks feature Asian-inspired flavors, and they're all made fresh in-house--we even saw a baker making the cakes! * Pandan Coconut: Our favorite! The pandan flavor really shines, and the coconut is subtle, which was perfect for me since I'm not a big fan of coconut. It's also not too sweet, which was a plus. * Earl Grey Tea: This was also delicious but a bit sweeter. The strong Earl Grey flavor is perfect for those who love it! We didn't try the drinks, but they looked very pretty. I highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting SF and will definitely be back next time I'm in town!

Yelp
I came here to order a birthday cake and chose the strawberry shortcake with buttercream writing on top. I picked it up right at opening on the designated day, and they needed a few minutes to get it ready, which was fine. While waiting, I decided to also grab a slice of the caramel biscoff chocolate mille crepe cake. The store was on the smaller side, but was bright and clean with some seating, and looked like a nice place to chat with a few friends while getting some cake. The strawberry shortcake was pretty good--light, fluffy cream that was slightly sweetened, soft cake, and pieces of strawberry. The presentation was impressive for a cake at this price. However, I think I liked the crepe cake more. It had luxurious layers of caramel sauce and bits of biscoff cookie, making it a decadent treat. I actually found it more interesting than the ones from Lady M. I'll definitely come back here to try more crepe cakes.

Andres N.

Yelp
What can I say, I had never heard of such a thing as crepe cake but the idea of it sounded fantastic so had to give it a try. It does not disappoint. The textures and flavor combinations are extraordinary and unique. If you're looking for a great dessert make sure to stop by and give this place a try. The also have great solid coffee and tea options for you to pair up with their tasty treats or need that balance of sweet and bitter. Great coffees and great cakes! The space itself is small but I havent had an issue with finding a seat to grab a quick bite here. The buildout is modern and their items are clearly marked and displayed. The employees I interacted with are helpful and efficient. I wanted to try the coconut pandan but it was sold out the time I went so I'll be definitely returning and trying that one out!

Juliet T.

Yelp
After slightly roaming into Tenderloin, my group stumbled upon this cafe and was so glad we dined in for a bit. I ordered the Sparkling Matcha Jeju Hallabong and it was very refreshing. The presentation of the drink was pretty, and it tasted good! I also tried the Honey Citron Yuzu and Hojicha tea, both were We shared a Passion Fruit Mille Crepe Cake which was a good sample size between three people. The Passion Fruit Mille Crepe Cake was light and had the perfect sweet/tartness from the passion fruit topping. If I could, I would've ordered every Mille Crepe to try!

Alexis M.

Yelp
What I ordered: -Pandan Coconut Chiffon Cake [4.5/5] _ For my birthday, my boyfriend ordered a cake from here, and we chose the pandan coconut chiffon cake. I've been wanting to try this place for a while since they offer all my favorite Asian flavors. The shop is quite small, with only a few tables, so it's best suited for a grab-and-go, especially since the area isn't the safest part of San Francisco. The cake itself was beautifully decorated and tasted amazing! My family and I really enjoyed it--it was fluffy, with super light cream. What we loved most was the prominent pandan flavor and the fresh coconut shreds in the cream layers. The cake reminded me of a traditional Vietnamese dessert. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves pandan! Additionally, their service is excellent--I changed my pickup date last minute, and they were very accommodating, which I really appreciated.

Yelp
Came on a weekend afternoon and it wasn't busy. Parking was really tough in the tenderloin so we just emergency light and ran in for a quick pick up. Service was quick and friendly! Crepe cakes were fantastic! Super soft, almost melt in your mouth texture but still a slight firmness that gives it a spongy bounce. Super creamy and sweetness was perfect for me. Both flavor were nailed! Strong profiles and layered in between each crepe. Highly recommend both! 10/10 Pandan $10 10/10 Taro $11 Unfortunately they stopped making creme filled croissants. Would come back to try these.

Yelp
Cute little shop in SF that my friends and I were planning on visiting after seeing some viral videos for cafes of this type. We made the trek here a couple of blocks away and was able to get there rather easily. The drinks were fine, but I felt that they could have had a little more flavor for the price. It was a bit lackluster as it the only interesting drink was the plum one. We ordered a strawberry cake and it was good, but I think this cafe was made more for the aesthetics and pretty drinks instead of the flavors and such. The service was great and very polite, but I think I'd only come back if we were ever in the area.

Elaine G.

Yelp
All of their cakes looked really good/pretty! We tried the ube basque cheesecake, matcha red bean crepe cake, and their pandan coconut chiffon cake. - Ube basque cheesecake: smooth, rich, good strong ube flavor, perfect balance of flavors, and good amount of sweetness. Great if you love cheese cake :) - Matcha red bean crepe cake: Each layer was very delicate and distinct. If you like matcha, the matcha definitely shines! - Pandan coconut chiffon cake - flavors are there and the cake was very nice and soft. I was a little surprised that the filling is more of a coconut jelly instead of cream. Not bad, but would probably still prefer cream or mousse as filling over jelly. Location is not exactly a place I would frequent. The store was cute and had some seating. Would def recommend getting cake here!

Christy Q.

Yelp
Their Strawberry Shortcake was a crowd pleaser at my friend's birthday! The cream tasted so smooth and had the perfect level of sweetness, and the strawberries were sweet yet tart, and the freshest that I've ever had on cake! The shortcake was perfect -- scone-like, crumbly, and not-too-sweet. I loved how the cake looked too! So cute yet elegant, with gold flakes and calligraphy. There definitely was a flair and charm to this cake that you wouldn't find at the typical bakery/dessert chain like Paris Baguette. Even though it tasted so much better and looked more special, its price was still comparable to PB. The cake served 10 slices and was $66. Ordering was also very easy -- I simply placed an online order 3 days before the pick-up date. The store's in the Tenderloin, but pick-up was fast and right on time. I highly recommend Sweet Glory for their birthday cakes! I also tried their passionfruit refresher, and I asked for it to be extra sour, which they most certainly catered to. I watched as they made the drink, and they had a whole tub of fresh passionfruit, and they scooped out a hefty amount for my drink. I was so happy with it; I just wished they served boba as well!

Helen W.

Yelp
The desserts here looked amazing. The salted egg yolk latte was sooo good! The rose water lychee cooler reminded me of the one we had in Thailand. Both kinds of toast were really good. If you are in the area you must stop by.

Jessica L.

Yelp
Both cakes - ube cheesecake and pandan crepe cake were absolutely delicious. Ube cheesecake wins if I had to pick. Cheesecake flavor is evident and there is a sweet and crunchy biscuit base. The frosty on top (looks like a scoop of ice cream) is soft and tasty. The pandan cake was lovely - not too sweet. Can feel the layers of the crepes in your mouth. Pandan flavor is balanced. We will be back to try more!

Christina T.

Yelp
The street itself isn't in the nicest area, but it looks like San Francisco is making attempts to clean up the area so that's a plus. Regardless this place is worth visiting. I believe there is another location in the sunset district as well. The cafe itself is small and can maybe sit about 10 people but they offer to go boxes. There were so many options to choose from but we ended up trying the sweet corn cheesecake and the tiramisu. I don't know which one I recommend more but I will certainly be back to try the rest of the menu.

Rudy H.

Yelp
One of the best mille crepe cake! Not so sweet, no lingering after taste, clean and excellent products. It all tastes natural with real natural ingredients. Thai run dessert shop, the staff are nice and informative. The shop is small with few tables and chairs inside, if you're taking it to go they will put the mille cake in a cute box. Interesting and with variety of flavors and colors, their products are far from boring. I've had the durian, it was pretty vibrant like biting on musang king in a cake form (I'm exaggerating a bit, but TBH they're really good in its category).

Jamie K.

Yelp
Whenever I am sad I cannot have an overpriced lady m crepe cake all the way down in Santa Clara I come here. Asides from the location being smack in the middle of the tenderloin, it is super cute inside with a stellar matcha latte and crepe cakes that do not do you dirty like the rubber served at u dessert story. There is limited seating inside and a self-serve kiosk. Staff are super nice and attentive:)

Victoria W.

Yelp
Though it's a tough trek up from Bart or Muni light rail stops or even by drudging through the TL to get to Sweet Glory, rest assured it is still worth the journey. I've tried almost every flavor of their crepe cake and love each one in their own right. The texture and consistency of the crepe layers with the creme filling is the perfect ratio and every time I have gone, the crepe cakes have always been of consistent and great quality. These days, I find myself gravitating to the passionfruit crepe cake as well as strawberry balsamic, anything fruity hits the spot for me. I also ordered a full earl grey crepe cake with custom writing for a friend's birthday last year, which came out nicely and was well worth its price. Though there is no delivery option, it was worth the trip up and I also rewarded myself with their iced salted egg latte, which was a nice treat and caffeine fix for my journey back home with the hefty full crepe cake. I do recommend their salted egg toast as well, the salted egg custard is quite creamy and just as sweet as it is salty. Overall, I'd recommend Sweet Glory to all my sweet tooth lovers and cafe going friends! I don't think you'll find anything on their menu disappointing.

Stephanie H.

Yelp
I tried the Pandan & Coconut Chiffon Cake and the Taro Crepe Cake slices. I also ordered the Tiramisu Crepe Cake to give to family; I was told it was very good! The Chiffon Cake was light and fluffy. The Taro Crepe's flavor came through well, and I'd also describe it as being light. The location is not the best. I definitely recommend either getting dropped off in front and/or being accompanied by another person. The interior is pretty small. There's enough room four about four sets of two people to sit. Service was good. Great selection/variety of flavors for their crepe cakes.

Jon L.

Yelp
A sweet oasis in a messy part of the neighborhood, Sweet Glory is a seriously good bakery cafe. Everything I got was so tasty. Specializing in Asian-inspired baked goods, you'll enjoy the offering here if you're a fan of "not too sweet" desserts. Seem to specialize in mille crepe cakes and I had a slice of the taro cake which was light and delicate. But what I really love here are the croissants which are filled like cream puffs. The salted egg yolk croissant was just a perfect combination of salty sweet flakinesss. Sweet Glory is worth the hike through the 'loin into Little Saigon for some Asian-inspired sweets.

Shirley L.

Yelp
I love crepe desserts, so I drove over to a not-the-best neighborhood, Tanderlin, to check out Sweet Glory and pick up a few things to try. I carried away three flavors: Earl Grey, Durian, and Ube. Earl Grey had the right amount of tea aroma. The durian had too much cream but not enough fruit for the $12 triangle cut. The Ube was my favourite although it was not in crepe form. Overall, all very delicious and not too sweet. If you are in this neighbourhood, check it out but no need to make a special trip.

Sheila C.

Yelp
I came to the larkin location and this place is closed and have been moved on there window there's a new location but not on here I just went somewhere else

Christine V.

Yelp
How can a dessert be so cute and pretty omg. It almost makes me feel bad for eating it but it must be done. I got the Pandan Crepe cake and I loved how gentle the coconut flavor is in it (not the biggest fan of coconut but it works in this). Location is obv sketchy sketch but I think if you're already going to be in the area for something else (I was there for Asian Art Museum close by), it's def worth a visit. The inside is drastically different from the outside street it's on.

SY C.

Yelp
Very cute cafe in a less nice part of the tenderloin, I can only assume that they chose this location for it's rent because you are unlikely to get a ton of foot traffic. I popped in on a Saturday afternoon after lunch and it was empty so we had the whole cafe to ourselves. The crepe cake was just ok, the crepe was kind of dry and although I got the balsamic strawberry vanilla crepe cake, I couldn't really taste any balsamic. Perhaps I should have ordered a different flavor but I'm not impressed enough to go back. I ordered a pot of tea on the side so it was nice to enjoy that. It's not really a spot for lingering since the view outside isn't the best but it's quiet if you want a place to chat!

AmErica A.

Yelp
2 words: chiffon cake! I had the honor of being gifted a few delectable treats from this wonderful bakery! For Mother's Day my mom gifted me a slice of each of the following: 1. Pandan 2. Mango 3. Taro 4. Tiramisu 5. Balsamic strawberry All were so perfectly light, creamy and did their respective flavors justice. I still don't know which my fave was as they were all delicious in their own right! I know 5 slices....don't worry I shared it with both my sons and hubby.

Cherry T.

Yelp
Amazing desserts and drinks in the TL that makes the trek worth it! There's 3 small tables so seating can be tough but going at a random 2pm time on a Saturday left enough seats for me and 3 friends to eat comfortably. Casual cafe vibes with quiet dining. Faves: passion fruit crepe cake, Thai tea crepe cake. Both were incredibly flavorful and tart with the gold not too sweet standard of desserts I love. I really also enjoyed their Thai tea lemonade that balanced out the sweetness of condensed milk. I can see myself picking up an entire crepe cake for special occasions for eating on my own lol.

Grace A.

Yelp
I love the variety of cake flavors! They even gave us ice pack to keep our cake slices cold when we told them we'll have the cake in the car for about 5 hours.

Alice H.

Yelp
I got the Earl Grey Tea Mille Crepe Cake. The balance of sweetness and Earl Grey tea flavor, with hints of citrus, is spot on. Each layer melts in your mouth, from the creamy Earl Grey custard to the smooth milk panna cotta. The touch of dried cornflowers adds a lovely floral note. Highly recommend!

Diana N.

Yelp
Absolutely adore this little shop!! Stumbled upon it as I was waiting for my car to get serviced and I'm so glad I was able to discover it. Their pineapple guava paradise was delicious, perfect amount of sweetness and very refreshing. They even paired it with a dehydrated pineapple!!! You know I'm a sucker for the little details and this place definitely put in the extra love. They have a huge selection of specialty crepe cakes and other pastries as well. The staff is all very friendly and the environment is really aesthetically pleasing. I'd come back and study here forsure just wish they had more seating space but overall a wonderful experience nonetheless. Highly recommend!

Allena C.

Yelp
My usual bakery needed a week in advance for 2 whole cakes, so I checked Yelp reviews and found Sweet Glory! Yelpers raved about how great their cakes were and I was not disappointed! I did an online order for a pandan and coconut chiffon cake and a Strawberry chiffon cake with vanilla custard. I really wanted to try their crepe cakes, but it would take an extra day for them to be ready. In any case, the reviews for both chiffon and crepe cakes were amazing, so I took a chance and went for the chiffon. This bakery is located in the heart of (TL) Tenderloin, but it really takes you away from its impoverished surroundings. It's like stepping into an enchanted world when you're in Sweet Glory bakery. What a gem! And the ladies who helped me were considerate and careful while they placed 2 whole cakes in the bag. Let me tell you, the cakes were such a hit at the party! They were beautifully decorated and tasted so light and fluffy! I don't think I've ever had a cake this moist and delicious before. You can smell the pandan and coconut flavor! The coconut isn't your ordinary dry coconut flakes, but young moist coconut shreds. I chose the strawberry cake in case our guests did not like coconut. That too was really moist, flavorful, delicate, and lightly sweetened. It's perfect for those who like cake without sugar-laden frosting. From their website, they list 14 flavors of crepe cakes: tiramisu, blueberry cheese, cookies and cream, durian, Earl Grey, passion fruit, Thai tea, balsamic strawberry, taro, matcha red bean, milo, pandan coconut, caramel biscoff, and hazelnut chocolate! While at the bakery, I also saw mango crepe cake with sliced mangos in between the layers (probably seasonal) which wasn't listed on their site. As for the chiffon cakes, the flavors are pandan coconut, strawberry, orange, taro, and durian. I'm so glad I found you, Sweet Glory! I will definitely be back to try your crepe cakes and other flavors you have to offer, but it'll be difficult to decide which flavor to try next! And thank you so much for your dependable service. You really saved the day!!

Julci A.

Yelp
Delicious dessert place with a good variety of Asian crepe cakes and teas. The cakes have excellent flavor and not too sweet. The pandan coconut cake also has decent pieces of coconut in it!! Doesn't have much seating but wasn't too busy when we came. Heads up that they do not allow outside food. So yummy and I will be coming back to try all of the flavors of cake!!

Annie W.

Yelp
Was in the area and had read so many great reviews about this bakery that I decided to stop by. It was already about 2:00, so maybe it was a bit late to see what they had at the beginning of the day, but there wasn't a huge choice left outside of the crepe cakes. I ordered the brûlée croissant and while it was good, I was a bit disappointed that the sugar wasn't crispier than it was. I think it was $4.00 and tiny, maybe three or four bites? I probably would have given them 4 stars, but I didn't feel very welcomed by the two people behind the counter. Think I'll pass next time!

Brent F.

Yelp
This place is very good and creative. Salted egg yolk custard croissant is great, reminds me of the dim sum lava bao you often see for dessert, just not warm, but maybe you could heat it up? Tried some cake and the pandan croissant and both were great. Won't deduct a star but worth noting this is not a nice area, and parking is really difficult, but overall great place and will be back in the future.

Kim T.

Yelp
My boyfriend found this place one our trip to SF. We stayed near Union square so had to walk through tenderloin to get here but so worth it! We got the passion fruit mille crepe cake and it was tasty!! Perfect sweetness and sharing size for 2-3 people. Service was friendly and fast. Not too much seating but cozy decor. Incredible!!

Tori Y.

Yelp
Have you ever been somewhere so amazing that you planned your return before leaving? I walked in on a whim on a rainy Saturday and was struck by all the thoughtful touches. From the big, leafy plants to the wooden tea trays, every little detail was Pinterest-perfect. That being said, I think the cakes are where Sweet Glory shines. They offer chiffon cakes and 20-layer mille crepe cakes with flavors ranging from western classics (hazelnut, caramel biscoff, cookies and cream) to Asian classics (durian, taro, thai tea). My recommendations - CREME BRULEE TOAST - Vanilla pastry cream squiggles, piped on sweetbread, crowned with crackly burnt sugar. So many delightful textures. PANDAN COCONUT CHIFFON CAKE - Fluff town! This one was light, airy and oh-so moist. Plenty of coconut meat strewn throughout the layers so there was a nice bit of texture in every bite. Not too sweet, so you have every excuse to eat it for breakfast ;) This is the perfect place to catch up with friends over a slice of cake and a cup of tea. Now I'm waiting for an excuse to go back... and I know where I'm getting my birthday cake this year!

Tiffany S.

Yelp
We just finished eating lunch at Hai Ky, but my sweet tooth was kicking in so we walked down the block to this new cafe. I ordered an iced matcha latte with oat milk and it was really good! They even asked if I wanted to adjust the sweetness (which I don't get asked often when it comes to lattes) We were too full to try any of the cakes, but I ordered the pandan custard croissant and it was the cutest thing! I love treats in mini form and this was a perfect little snack. The cafe itself is pretty small, so I don't think it's the best spot to work from. There are also only ~2 small tables inside, so it might be better for grab-and-go. FYI this is in the middle of the TL, so be careful where you park!

Stephen L.

Yelp
Sweet Glory cakes are top notch. Having been in SF for a few years now, I've purchased cakes from many of the top bakeries in the city. Sweet Glory is the only place I have returned to multiple times to buy cakes for various occasions. Their Pandan Coconut Chiffon Cake is my top pick. I have ordered that cake 3 times now. It's a great size and had the perfect level of sweetness. The pandan flavor was strong and the fresh coconut meat was an excellent touch of quality and texture. Highly recommend this cake and getting anything at Sweet Glory. Service is great and the cakes are always ready on time when you order ahead. Price is very reasonable given the quality and average price of cakes in SF. 100% will be coming here in the future for my cakes so treat yourself to a slice or whole cake

Yelp
A shining gem of a boutique bakery in a rough neighborhood. The interior to the staff and golden dining utensils make this both a treat and experience in of itself. The Mille crepe cakes take on both traditional flavors a la strawberry, vanilla & chocolate along with Asian centric tastes such as durian, pandan, Thai tea, and taro, etc. with a subtle sweetness and pillowy texture, the cake goes excellently with their house coffee drinks. A repeat visit will be in order to try more flavors

Yelp
Sweet Glory is a gem nestled in the chaotic surroundings of Little Saigon. I've been meaning to pay this spot a visit for ages, but it's been tough because they don't as early as I'd like. Finally dropped by at noon last weekend and had a full pastry case to pick from. My two cousins and I enjoyed the... Kaya Toast: I made the trek to Sweet Glory for this, and I must say it did not disappoint. For those who aren't familiar with kaya, it's a custard that's flavored with coconut cream and pandan. I like to describe the latter as vanilla if it were a leafy green. This toast totally did kaya justice. The visuals, taste, and toast-to-custard ratio were excellent across the board. Creme Brûlée Toast: To my surprise, this may have been my favorite item of the spread. Its custard tasted more mellow than the kaya custard, and we like not-too-sweet desserts here. Plus, breaking up the torched sugar on top adds an extra interactive element to each bite. Call me a child, but I think that's fun. I'd bring this home for my family to try. Taro Crepe Cake: Taro has a pretty subtle flavor, so I think these folks did the smart thing and added chunks of fresh taro into each slice. That way it's hard to miss. The remainder of the cake tasted nice and milky, which reminded me of a tres leches cake. Pretty delightful in my opinion. I'd say this was my favorite of the two crepe cakes I tried. Passion Fruit Crepe Cake: I can never turn down a passion fruit dessert because I love how tart and refreshing the fruit itself is. This cake was no exception, but I'll say it was a touch too sweet for my taste. My cousins loved it, though. The four pastries plus three drinks came out to $55. Pretty standard for an assortment of instagram-worthy desserts. Many patisseries are charging upwards of $10 per cake slice these days. The interior is quite whimsically decorated, with a pastel-colored accent wall being the highlight. But it was a bit smaller than I anticipated, so keep that in mind if you want to dine-in as a large group. It has around 4 tables that are each capable of seating 2-3 people. Would love to come back here with some friends for an afternoon pick-me-up!

Yelp
Found out about this place through Instagram Reels and it looked so good, I had to try! Went in around 11am on a Saturday and it wasn't busy. It's a small place, but has counter seats and a few tables. The pastries.... Wow! All of the Millet / Crepe cakes were so creamy and you can feel every single layer in your mouth. Personally, my favorite was the Pandan Coconut Crepe Cake but all of them were good! I couldn't choose which one is better between the Salted Egg Yolk Croissant and Pandan Custard Croissant. Both are small and have a lot of filling. Definitely coming back here. You can't go wrong with any of the options!

Yelp
Despite the location of this gem being in the bad part of SF, the flavors of these crepe cakes have the perfect sweetness and consistency. We were lucky to find parking right in front of the store, but we quickly went in and out. The store itself has a really clean and minimal look. Got the durian, taro, hazelnut chocolate, and pandan coconut to try. The only one that didn't hit the spot was the durian crepe. Would enjoy it being more flavorful (taste of durian). Prices for these are pretty steep tho (ranging from $11-12 for a slice).

Yelp
What a nice gem in the tenderloin district! I stopped by to pick up a slice of mille crepe cake for a friends birthday, and I was pleasantly surprised with many Asian inspired flavors, including pandan coconut, passionfruit, balsamic strawberry vanilla, and more! They also had amazing looking croissants with pandan, salted egg, and other flavors as well. I will definitely be coming back to try more good and getting a latte!

Yelp
If you're looking for Asian-Inspired flavor cakes, Sweet Glory is your best option. They bake a variety of crepe cakes and also chiffon/short cakes. I've tried the Durian Short Cake and the Coconut Pandan Chiffon Cake. Both were delicious and "not too sweet". Sweet Glory sells sliced cakes and whole cakes (pre-order on their website in advance). They also have small croissants filled with flavors such as salty egg, custard and pandan as well as kaya toast. The only downside of this bakery is that it's located in the TL. We drove by a lot of homeless people and human poop. I'd definitely recommend traveling with a passenger who can just quickly jump in while you wait in the car. I'll be back to try more of their selections. Hopefully they don't ever go out do business!

Yelp
Just perfect. The ones I tried so far: strawberry, tiramisu, cookies & cream (oreos), and mango. The mango one is by far the best cake I've tried in my life. Their crepe cakes are not too heavy nor too sugary like most cakes and they're all so fresh and light. I'm in love! The banana bread is also amazing and in a perfect cute little size. Coffee is also at the same level of perfection as their cakes. Staffs were friendly and welcoming. I love the overall vibe inside. They don't have much tables but for a tiny little space, it's just right. This by far is my top 1 cafe, beating Maison Danel as my top 2 which is just few blocks from each other. I definitely will come back.

Yelp
It is almost always a good sign if you keep coming back to a place, right? At this point, I have been to Sweet Glory more than a handful of times. This cute cafe is still the undefeated "go to" spot (in my books anyway) if you want quality Asian desserts. The last time I went, I tried their Balsamic Strawberry Vanilla Mille Crepe Cake. I cannot rave enough about how much I love their crepe cakes. The crepe cakes are quite delicate and not too sweet. I love how they give you a little pitcher to drizzle sauce on top of some of their crepe cakes as well. I have not tried the other desserts they offer but will definitely get to them at some point. Again, I would note that this cafe is not located in the best part of San Francisco. So, I would recommend that you take an Uber to get there.

Yelp
Yummy! We tried the pandan coconut chiffon cake and the durian mille crepe cake. Both were super flavorful, and we loved how strong the coconut/durian came through. Soft, fluffy, not too sweet (although the durian could've been even less sweet imo). I've only had mille crepe cakes from Anton Patisserie in South Bay, so compared to that one, I did prefer their layers and textures. This crepe cake's layers blended together more, whereas for Anton you could taste the layers. Could be more of a preference though. Very solid desserts!

Yelp
An oasis in the middle of Tenderloin that is arguably the best bakery in all of SF!!! Do not sleep on this place!! The craftsmanship, innovative use of fresh ingredients (durian mille crepe cake ?! So good), and the flavor profile is on par with other established giants like Lady M. Go support this amazing small business !

Yelp
Worth the hype. Pricey but very yummy. Obsessed with the pandan flavored crepe cake, such an authentic pandan flavor came through. It was a bit more on the doughier texture side. The earl grey crepe cake was subtle in taste and delicious. The texture was almost gel like. And the biscoff crepe cake was delicious more sweet and on the creamier texture side. None were too sweet. I'd prefer a slice of one of these crepe cakes to an entire bday cake any day! Service was very kind and quick. The ambience was adorable and calm and people were comfortably seated and working on laptops even.

Yelp
Sweet Glory absolutely exceeded my expectations as sometimes things look delicious and "Instagram worthy" but they don't taste as good. I am happy to report that that's not the case for this fabulous place: I've tried tiramisu, passion fruit and earl grey crepe cakes and all of them tasted just as good they looked. Everyone working there was so sweet and beyond helpful! The place is pretty small inside but can probably accommodate at least 8 people or so. The only con is that they are located not in the best area of SF and finding parking could be tough. Overall, I highly recommend it and I will definitely be back!

Yelp
Had two crepe cakes - the ube and the Pandan In loveeee with sweet glory. The location is just not ideal but otherwise I'd love to go back for the Pandian crepe cake. Friendly service. Clean and tidy.
