Quality control is abymassal at this location. The chalboard praises "local ingredients", then why is the lettuce discolored like it's expiring? Sweet potatos are burnt. Chicken is sketchy. Also, the employees at this location can't perform, which is a management issue. Should I contact Newmam and let him know what's happening here?

The food is fresh and delicious. The employees at this particular location seemed overwhelmed with so many people coming up at once looking for their online orders. But, I would definitely eat here again if in the area. This location is in a large food court, which was great for a big group of picky eaters.

It's unfortunate that this place exists. Decent at best salads and bowls at a premium. Gets very busy during lunch rush as office crowd filters in. Nothing wrong with the food but pricey for what it is. OK at gluten friendliness although some risk of CC

I went into this fast casual restaurant at 7:30, and they close at 8 pm. The employee from the employee behind the counter greeted us with “we close at 8” implying we needed to hurry up and order instead of taking so long looking at the menu. We ordered to go - four items off the menu with no modifications. At the hotel, we found our 2 salads had no dressing and could not return before they closed $16/plate felt like too much for average portions of food that tasted underwhelming Update: Sweetgreen gave us a credit for the two salads.

Had a great experience, went to this location. An employee named Justin made my salad and recommended a delicious vegan one (hard to find vegan dishes) he tossed the salad and recommended a dressing. Would be coming back again

I've tried this place a couple of times and really like the taste & healthier alternative. Highly recommend the Guacamole Greens, Elote Bowl, and the Crispy Rice Bowl. However, I've noticed their mobile ordering seems to be worse (duration wise) vs. standing in line during the lunch rush. Not sure if it's a system intentional preference to membership/external pickup services, or bad timing surge but today I placed a mobile order at 11:30am and the pickup time was set until 12:30pm (1 hour wait) and it was brought out a bit later. Super hectic pickup area too, everyone stands around and really hard to hear/see your name with the crowds. My last visit I stood in line to order during the lunch rush (at 12pm or past) and got through in ~ 10 minutes.

First time here. Went today to grab a salad for lunch, I had the Kale Caesar salad. It was good but a bit underwhelming for over 13$. It was pretty busy for lunch, but the staff managed to get through the lines. Only downside, they clearly were running low of items to be offered and the work stations were clearly in need of a cleaning. May try them again.

I usually visit the Sweet Green in Hyde Park. Because I was in the area, I visited the one in the SEARS TOWER food court. First, the unhappy young lady who made my salad seemed to put a teaspoon of all ingredients that were included in the salad. I reminded her rice was one of the ingredients, as she was about to mix the salad up(per my request). She responded “I know, I’m about to put it in there. The cashier was urging me to pay for my order so I didn’t realize until I got home she added about a spoonful of rice and she also put the containers the dressing was in inside of the container with the salad…….UNSANITARY!! And I now understand why this location doesn’t have at least a 4 star rating! Do better management! Give people what they pay for and practice sanitary food preparation. And also make sure your employees are communicating and smiling when addressing customers. Even if they don’t feel like it. A positive attitude goes a long way. I have worked in customer service for over 30 years and even when I’m not feeling my best, have had personal things going in my life, the people I have come in contact with never knew it.

I'm from out of state and had heard how good sweetgreen was. Sure they have more salad topping options, but I think I'm happy to stick with salads elsewhere, or chipotle if I want a grain type bowl. Overall pretty pricey $17 for a very basic salad

I ordered a tofu custom bowl for lunch around 12:45 on a Saturday, and it was ready at least ten minutes ahead of schedule. Pickup was fast and easy. I felt like there definitely wasn't enough tofu for it as a premium ingredient and there was a ton of filler (spring mix). Otherwise though, it was made well. My husband got the chicken parm bowl and really enjoyed it.

Poor service and the food is mediocre. The price point does not justify the level of food quality.

Recommend online ordering ahead to avoid long lines, especially during the work lunch rush. Love the Harvest Bowl - the combo of ingredients gives a great fall feeling (apples, sweet potatoes, roasted almonds, etc.)

I love sweetgreen, so I frequent this location once a week because it is right next to my school. However, this location experiences heavy delays, especially during peak lunch hours. Always check the app at least one hour prior and see what the estimated pickup times are!! It has quite literally taken over an hour for them to make my bowl before. Food is usually good, however, there was one time when I ordered the new chipotle chicken bowl & the container wasn't even halfway full. I'm not kidding. I didn't say anything because it did take SO long for me to get my order & I did not want to bother them while they were busy, but I was not satisfied. I ordered the same bowl again today at the Lincoln Park location & the serving size HAS to be twice what they gave me at this location. TLDR: I think you need more workers at this location or something because it is hectic 90% of the time I come.

Great salad bar at the bottom of the Willis tower. Good choices. Fresh clean friendly staff. A bit too expensive but it is a tourist trap area ....

It's super efficient from start to finish. It's the Chipotle of salad. I love the technology and cleanliness. You're in and out in minutes.

I have been going to this location in the Willis Tower for several months and it has been pretty consistent in terms of service and food quality. In most cases I use the app because waiting in line can take 30 minutes or longer. If I place my order by 10:30 a.m., it will be ready by Noon, per the app. If placed later it is usually ready by 1:30 or 2:00, so I make sure to order early. My go-to order is the Fish Taco salad which comes with baked salmon on a bed of arugula, quinoa, half of an avocado, cilantro, red cabbage, and tortilla chips along with a red chili sauce dressing and a green verde-like dressing that I get on the side. I like this pairing because it feels like I am having chips and guac., and then a salmon/quinoa/salad. The half of avocado portion is a really nice and I finish it with my last bite of salad. Only once I tried this salad with romaine lettuce instead of arugula and it just didn't taste the same, so it made me a believer in eating this salad with arugula. For spicy food lovers the red chile sauce has a tiny kick to it that can last about 10 seconds but longer if your palette is not used to spice, at least that's what one of my coworkers told me. Also, the Super Green Goddess which is their cheapest salad on the menu priced under $10.00 is also very good. It comes with half kale and half spinach but instead of spinach I get half argula. Also, instead of beets I substitute for quinoa and add apples. The black lentils plus the quinoa make this a protein power packed salad.

Had this for the first time at my new job recently. I love the variety of options you can choose from and it seems to be very leaf-heavy, which I don't mind at all. The sauces they have are different than many others I've tried at various restaurants. When I ate here, the line had a few people and chatting with my boss made it seem quicker than it was. However, I walked here with a coworker yesterday, and the line quickly filled to over 25 people. It took her around 10-15 minutes to get her bowl, but the order ahead shelf seemed stocked. I'd definitely like to eat here during lunch but would recommend checking ahead or taking an early/late lunch. It's in the common are of the Sears Tower, which is really nice and you can sit out in the open as well. I'd recommend it!

One hour for a pick up order? Seriously who are you kidding with this? Nothing is actually even being cooked, it's pure assembly. The staff are nice, but it isn't managed well at all. The day before I saw someone come up and ask for their order placed through grubhub and the staff member said oh sorry grubhub orders aren't being recievdd, you can just get in line and place your order, wow I never have to wait a Protein Bar just across the street. It's just as good, a little bit cheaper and ready *before* I ever show up, super nice staff too. "Skip the line, order online!" Except it took 90 minutes to assemble this salad. The app said it was completed, sent me multiple notifications, then arrive only to wait another 20 min. People in the loop that are chained to their desks don't have 90 minute windows to wait and retrieve, then eat their food. I've always despised this place, still do. Overhyped, overpriced, overbranded, middddddddd at best

They do not wash the salad base and they are lousy when it comes to filling the bowl. For a 20 dollar bowl this is not worth it. Don't buy sweetgreen is Chicago save your money buy something else. Actually foul. And the bread is stale and hard.

I have never received the correct order here. My office orders online and I have never had all of the items in the order. It's always an item that I paid extra for that's missing, too. If you haven't ordered from sweetgreen, all of the ingredients are in a list format on the receipt, so it's insane how often they simply miss items on that list. Today, I received a bowl that was not even half full, missing ingredients, and cold, even though I showed up 10 minutes before it said it would be ready for pickup. I ordered something with the nori seasoning, and they put so much on the top of the rice was black and you could smell it through the bag - it seemed like the lid had fallen off of the container. Overall, this location is consistently low quality and disappointing.

Always fresh and yummy healthy salad! My fav is the pesto parm delicious! Great fast option when you're on the go. Lunch time gets really busy. I recommend order ahead.

The food is delicious but this is the worst run sweet green I've been to over the last like 15 years. It's peak lunch hour on a Wednesday and it took me 20 minutes to get through the line because, despite being fully staffed, only one or two people were making salads. One of the people who makes the salads sat there and organized bread slices when there was a line of 40 people. Who cares if the bread is in alternating position when there's a line that long?? It was clear no one was in charge. The worker at the cashier told someone to help the line and the guy literally said laughed, said "no" and walked to the back. They also forgot an ingredient in my salad. Based on prior reviews management is not taking action to correct common complaints.

Been coming for lunch 2x week since this location opened and coming to sw since they opened their very first location in DC. Quality control at this location has become a disaster. Incredibly inconsistent. Sometimes dressing filled to the brim, other times barely halfway. Quantity of ingredients varies tremendously. Sometimes can't finish other times like today it's barely filled. Missing ingredients, replaced ingredients without asking - what if you had an allergy? Today got a total of 5 half slices of soggy cucumbers and missing red onion entirely. When it's done right it's super tasty and satisfying but when it's not it feels like such a waste of money. Can't deal with the variability anymore. For what it's worth, the location on Dearborn seems to be more consistent so recommend going there instead.

This was the first place I chose out of the entire food court. My husband was the one to pick his meal first. He picked the miso glazed salmon bowl with white rice and a couple of other additions. The girl working at the front put gloves on and crossed her hands with the gloves, rubbing all over her shirt and touching her skin which is already a red flag for me. What's the point of wearing gloves if you're going to be touching your oils and hair? It's disgusting. Then, for some reason, she roughly and abruptly pulled out the containers, took out half of avocado that was orange on the cut side, scooped it out, tried to flip it over to hide the orange coloring, and when it didn't work out, she made an irritated sound. Then she kept adding things to the bowl with some weird type of agitation, causing the food to fall over the counter, and then she pulled out this burned up piece of salmon and everything was just disgusting. I was standing there in shock and I told them that I am not going to be ordering a second bowl for myself. I went over to the Brown Bag that serves seafood and it was fresh and delicious. This girl is unprofessional and maybe there were some kind of personal problems going on, but it was like she wanted everyone to get out of there and doesn't know how to do anything carefully. She was a mess, the counter was a mess and the food was presented horribly. Disgusting.

Love sweet green and this one gets busy but it's terribly run. It's like going to a grocery store Starbucks.

UPDATE: Sweetgreen refunded the meal AND sent us a $10 voucher. A customer-service rep also reached out on Yelp. All of those efforts are appreciated. And all of them are 100% preventable. Sweetgreen could save a lot of time, money and effort with better up-front customer service. Let people cancel orders if the wait time is too long. Let people speak with a human by phone. These are all basics for customer-focused businesses. They should be table stakes for a company with a product as good as Sweetgreen's. ORIGINAL: Placed an order and was given an estimate of 1 hour 40 minutes ... in the middle of the day on a Wednesday. We tried to cancel it and, it turns out, Sweetgreen does not allow order cancellations, regardless of the wait. The company won't allow you to speak with a human and the only customer service option is via text, which took more than an hour for response. Good food (when it's warm and on time). Unacceptable customer service. Won't order from here again.

Service was not great. Made us wait 10 minutes at the front of the line before acknowledging us because they were busy with online orders, then took another 10-15 making the salad. They were also missing multiple ingredients. Other locations I've been to are much more efficient.

Extremely rude Manager name Naomi, I cannot believe the service First, I would like to start by saying how much I love sweetgreen how often I go there for a quick breakfast snack or lunch. Unfortunately, today was met by some of the rudest, most unprofessional managers in the world, as I was asking questions she became extremely argumentative and when ever I would try to speak she would rudely interrupt me and start speaking louder. It eventually got to a point where she got in my face and seemed like she was going to hit me. She then proceeded to kick me out of the Willis Tower stated "she knows what me kind do" I have never in my life been so humiliated and disrespected shame on you Sweet Green I definitely would never be going back. SWEETGREEN YOUR MANAGER NAOMI AT THE WILLIS TOWER NEEDS MOOORRRRRRREEEEEE TRAINING OR TO BE FIRED!!!!!!!

Pros: Good selection of salad and bowls available here and you can custom your own. Conveniently located in my building ( Willis Tower) so I've ordered online for pick up, which was easy. Decent portion too. Cons: Pricey, but kind of typical for fresh salad in the area. The biggest issue and why I give a 3 is I have ordered 3 times and the salad looks NOTHING like the menu photo. For example, the Cobb salad shows about half an egg-I got 2 slices of an egg. The menu pic shows about half an avocado or 4-5 slices- literally had 3 small chunks .

Didn't realize this place has been here, just a couple blocks from where I work. Friendly service, fresh ingredients, huge salad for $13. Long line, but it moved fast. I will definitely be back.

I created a new account, created my $25.00 salad (very pricey), placed my order with Sweetgreen for delivery, and Sweetgreen proceeded to place the order with their store 2.5 miles away thru Uber Eats! I wanted to order at the store that is 3 blocks away! Now I am waiting for 2 hours for a salad while I am stuck at the office. This better be one hell of a salad for $25.00 + service fee (5.15) + tip (5.15)!

i have no idea why this location doesn't have 5 stars. this place is bumping every single day at lunch and they STILL have the nicest people! raina (probably spelling this wrong, i'm sorry!) is a literal angel who helped me out when i was in a tough situation and needed to provide lunch for a group of people at the height of the lunch rush. she was happy to help and i could not be more appreciative!!!!! :)

Food quality at this location is inconsistent and worse yet they are SLOW. I don't care if it's lunchtime, nobody has time to wait an hour for a f*cking salad! Especially if it's ordered on the app. Skip this place.
