Swingers, a retro diner in LA, serves up all-day breakfast and classic comfort food in a lively atmosphere, perfect for night owls and brunch enthusiasts alike.
"Made famous by countless movies, this long-standing diner on Beverly is probably most used as a reliable, late-night spot (though they’re only open until 10pm right now). That said, it’s a decent spot for a casual brunch when you’re simply too hungover to deal with any type of crowd. Their all-day breakfast menu has dishes ranging from steak and eggs to fried egg sandwiches. They don’t serve alcohol, but they do have solid ice cream shakes and fruit smoothies. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

"While there are tons of Alice In Wonderland themed bars and restaurants, none feel quite as much like you’re fallen down a hole and emerged in a different world as Swingers (which is actually not Alice In Wonderland themed). When you walk downstairs at the Dupont Circle putt putt spot, you’ll emerge by the elaborate green course, complete with a mini food court and cocktail bar. Anybody who doesn’t want to play golf is welcome to just chill at the handful of tables near the small stalls of Kneadza Pizza, Mah Ze Dahr, Succotash, and TuTaco, while the rest of the group makes their way through the clocktower and waterwheel courses. Make sure to reserve your spot in advance, though, as walk-ins are limited and it gets packed, even on Monday nights." - Tristiaña Hinton
"The New York Times has a nice slice of life piece on Swingers diner on Beverly Boulevard, a place where striking Hollywood writers have been meeting thanks to a generous offer from Drew Carey to pay back meals (plus tip) for any writers that show their WGA card." - Matthew Kang
