"You can play at being a Chelsea resident in this understated conversion of two Georgian townhouses, in a quiet residential street off Fulham Road. Book a deluxe double room to bag the best space – these old houses don’t brag walk-in wardrobes.
But they do have espresso machines, Egyptian cotton-clad Vispring beds and L’Occitane toiletries.
The attic floor room on the fifth floor has the best views across the Royal Borough, with porthole windows in sloping eaves, and a generous private roof garden laden with potted flowers, deck chairs and a dining area.
There’s no restaurant on site but you’re flanked by Michelin-star dining spots, and room service includes the likes of pastas, panini and a full English.

Hotel was in a nice area. Staff were friendly on arrival. We booked a room with a small balcony and although small it was very cute! The room was always clean and as it was my birthday the staff had wrote a card which was a real nice touch. I would definitely recommend.

One of the cheaper hotels in Chelsea, but friendly staff and close to King's Road. Standard rooms. Breakfast was OK, the full English doesn't include baked beans or has browns which kind of makes it a partial english breakfast as far as I'm concerned. However, all tasty & cooked well, the egg supreme and eggs on avocado were great. Would definitely stay here again.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Sydney House. On arrival at the hotel a member of staff greeted us then came out to our car and helped my husband and I carry all our luggage in, which was a very nice touch. The lovely lady on reception was extremely helpful and friendly as were all the staff throughout our stay. The room was exceptionally clean and the bed and pillows very comfortable. I was attending a wedding at the Town Hall so the location of this hotel was ideal. As an added bonus the reception is open 24 hours so we were able to return to the hotel well after midnight, where we were greeted by a guy on reception who again was very friendly and welcoming. After checking out, they kindly stored all our luggage in a safe place in the hotel so we were able to collect it later in the afternoon. All in all my experience at the Sydney House was a very enjoyable one.

We stayed at Sydney House for one night while attending a concert at The Royal Albert Hall. The Hotel is conveniently situated close to South Kensington Tube Station, Kings Road area and a short walk to The Hall.|We were checked in by an extremely pleasant and professional young lady but unfortunately on a very hot day the a/c was not sufficient to cool the room. However, with the assistance of housekeeping we were allocated a new room on the 3rd floor which was much more pleasant.|The accommodation was clean, the bed extrememly comfortable and ok for an overnight stay|Our booking did not include breakfast |Thanks to the efforts of the staff we encountered we will probably consider this establishment when visiting this area.

Stayed last minute as I had an unexpected need to stay near the Royal Brompton Hospital. The Sydney House was a two minute walk away and a reasonable rate for London. It was very last minute and with little research done, so I was incredibly lucky to find Sydney House.
The room was small but perfectly formed, everything we could need and good quality.
But it is the staff I really want to commend. They treated me with such kindness and were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much.

Hanine at the desk was more than just clocked into work. She was a local guide, a friendly face and someone to talk too! - real people make businesses work and thrive! She should be congratulated greatly for her efforts. - the hotel was also immaculately presented and clean! - the location is also fabulous only a few minutes walk to the tube! - highly recommend

We needed to find somewhere close to the Royal Albert Hall for an overnight stay and this proved to be an excellent choice . Our room on the 4th floor was bright, clean and comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities. We were impressed that fresh milk was provided 24/7. ||The staff were very helpful and welcoming.

This is a property where restraint is luxury, and precision is hospitality. One leaves not dazzled by spectacle, but quietly impressed by the confidence of a house that knows exactly who it is.
