I had placed a pickup order at this location. When I arrived, I tried to enter through the doors, but the doors were locked (not closing time) with the security officer standing right behind them. I showed him my app order details, but he ignored me. I went to the other side to knock, and he continued to ignore me. I knocked until customers and employees noticed me, and finally, an employee came to the door.
I let them know I had an order. As the employee was preparing it, some random guy grabbed my order while I was standing there watching. The security officer let him out without verifying anything and watching the entire scene! It was ridiculous and caused a huge inconvenience.
I spoke to the manager about the useless security officer. While the manager and employees were kind and remade my order, the security officer truly left a bad taste in my mouth. I drove 20 minutes out of my way to deal with this nonsense. Do not go to this location!
I'm sure the reason they act like this is because they're used to dealing with thieves but that’s no excuse to mistreat a regular customer that just wants a Supreme Crunchwrap! How about identify and check the names of bags beforehand, and let customers in that have preordered?!?? I get it it’s U-street but there are multiple other spots open that respect their customers like cracked eggery or the pizza spot next to Capo Deli’s or Andy’s pizza.
