Just finished finals and when are some tacos. I went to the drive-through and for my four tacos I paid less than $15. atmosphere looks pretty decent and my tacos were super fresh and freshly made. Taste: 2 tacos regular beef 2 tacos marinated beef Taste is pretty decent. Not the best not the worst. The green sauce is hot!!!!!!! Overall a pretty nice place.

For the price, this place is 5 stars. Really everything earns 4 stars but the price gets it a bonus star! Food would get 5 from me if it wasn't so heavy on the meat, beans, rice, and cheese, and included more of the veggie items in it. If you just want the non-veggies in your Mexican, then this will be 5 stars for you, but that isn't me. Service is generally quick and orders have been accurate and they give you the included salsa without having to ask. Green is best! There is some outdoor seating but nothing special and at a busy intersection so have usually picked up.

A great place to grab and go or dine for a low key meal with high key flavor. We went here on a Saturday night around 9pm and it was a superb choice. There was no line, just satisfied customers eating on the small patio in peace. We got 2 chicken sopes, 1 steak sopes, 1 la Mexicana chicken burrito and 3 beef tacos. Everything was fresh, delicious and came out fairly quickly. The service was efficient and accurate. No complaints. Best of all, they have a drive-thru and free parking. A solid option for whenever you’re craving good quality Mexican food.

I’ve loved Taco T for YEARS! I moved and now I’m not close but if I was I would go weekly. Best place for tacos on the north side. If you are anywhere close, it’s worth a stop! I always get chicken tacos but my friends love everything on the menu. Service is always fast and friendly. Authentic Mexican food, not like most places. So happy they are growing and opening another location. Highly recommended!

Been coming here for 6 years. Always great food but now they have added Birria tacos and consume and its sooooo good! Worth it! They have a fully covered outside deck now to keep rain off. A welcome addition as there is no inside seating. I always use the website to order and it's ready by the time I arrive.

Awesome place for burritos or tacos, I haven't tried any of those other items on the menu but if past experience is an indicator, then it will be delicious as well!! Depending on the weather, pick up is better, no indoor dining. Still excellent food!

Delicious tacos with hand made shells. I prefer their soft shell over hard although both were good. I got one chicken, barbacoa, and chorizo Mexican style. Chorizo was by far my favorite it was very juicy and flavorful one of the best tacos I’ve had. Chicken was good but a little flavorless and dry, lime juice helped flesh out flavor (with verde salsa). The barbacoa was pretty good as well. Rice and beans were solid too Amazing drive thru option and recommend! Will be back

I’ve been a loyal customer of Taco T’s for quite some time now… I drive 25–30 minutes from Kennesaw at least once a week because I enjoy the food and, until recently, the service. Yesterday’s experience was really disappointing. I placed a full order for my daughter and myself tacos, a quesadilla, rice and beans, and aguas frescas, which totaled about $45 before I tipped. I asked for light ice in the mango agua fresca, but it ended up being too light. Immediately after leaving the drive-thru, I returned to politely ask for just a little more ice. Instead of a simple fix, I was told I’d be charged — first $1.06, then 53 cents… JUST for ice. I explained that we had just come through the drive-thru and only needed a few cubes to correct the drink, but there was no flexibility, courtesy, or effort to resolve the situation kindly. I ultimately paid the 53 cents, used only a few ice cubes, and returned the cup. I understand policies, but customer service is about judgment and care, especially with repeat customers who consistently support your business. The way this was handled felt unnecessarily rigid and unwelcoming, which is unfortunate because this has been my go-to location. In today’s climate, where customers are very intentional about where they spend their money, experiences like this matter. I’ve USUALLY HAD GREAT SERVICE but this interaction has made me question whether I’ll continue patronizing this location. I hope ownership takes this feedback seriously — not over the cost of ice, but over the importance of how customers are treated.

Authentic and delicious tacos with the option to "Americanize". We ordered at the window and ate on the patio but saw plenty of cars in the drive through. I think best course of action is to order ahead regardless of where you're eating since it took a bit of time for our food. The covered patio is nice for cooler days but could see it being uncomfortable on those really hot days.

I've always had great food here until my most recent experience on Wednesday. I arrived shortly after they opened and waited at the window for at least 5 minutes. I could hear movement inside but no one was there to take my order. I ended up calling to make sure they were open. The person who answered the phone apologized stating that they were busy on the inside "packing salsas for the day." I ordered my favorite, huevos machaca with cheddar cheese and al pastor tacos. Everything was absolutely disgusting and did not taste good. I did not get cheese on my burrito even though I was charged for it. I didn't receive extra hot salsa even though I paid for it. I'm not sure if the owners changed or if there are new cooks on the kitchen but the food was absolutely horrible!

Great little taco shop! I judge a taco shop by the salsa and I was not disappointed. There's only two choices, mild or hot- which I love, why have several salsas when you really only need to make the best of what you have, and you don't need an in between. I had their two asada tacos, which were kind of small- street style but were loaded with toppings and were really good. Adding on the rice was a nice touch! The rice was SO flavorful. It was not lacking in moisture or seasoning. And I'm a tough critic, so I highly recommend!

They've been satisfying my family and I for over 8 years. We stumbled upon them back in 2016 and have been coming ever since. We've yet to have a negative experience. These are still some of the crispiest and best tacos in ATL. My kiddos are addicted to the beans and rice. You can't go wrong with a meal here and the service is always good.

The taco was excellent! I would definitely come back for these again. I also got the egg and bacon breakfast burrito. It was egg and bacon...that is where it stopped. I recognize I didn't ask, but I would have assumed at least there would have been cheese on it and hoped for some potato too. So that one was okay, the tortilla was good, but it could be so much more.

Taco T is legit! We headed here as soon as they opened at 10 because we were starving. There was already someone in front of us too. We ordered a chicken burrito Mexican style and a Bistec burrito Mexican style. The tortilla, meat, and filling were all very fresh and delicious. I asked for hot sauce which is green. It definitely had a kick to it! I don't know when soccer will bring us back to this area, but if we do head back up this way, we will definitely be back.

Delicious and affordable! Best of both worlds. I found this place on Yelp and it hit the spot. The green salsa is DELICIOUS. Service was friendly and kind and they have a nice covered patio which is great to beat the heat.

Had to read other reviews before typing this. I used to love this place. The meat was flavorful, the tacos were soft and everything was just really good. But today? Absolutely not! The soft taco shells were hard..the hard taco was stale and chewy. All of the meat selections I had were dry and tasteless. There was no flavor! The food used to be nice and juicy. Now, I struggled to get through my order. I hope this downfall isn't because they opened another location. I hate expansions for this particular reason. I won't be back

The breakfast burrito was simple and delicious. Mine was chorizo and huevos. And it had just that in it. Which made it great. Simple is better. Went through the drive through just after they opened. Has to briefly wait but well worth it. And the price listed is the price with tax.

I love that they have a drive-thru for convenience! However, I got 2 steak crunchy tacos & rice. The shell was disgusting..I'm not sure if it was stale? The steak was chewy but edible, I suppose. The rice wasn't bad I've had better. But I do not recommend this place.

Food is always Good ! ,Quick service for a made to order place, Drive thur and out door seating , Cool little spot for the area. I go the Chicken Burrito A La Mexican. Awesome!

This place is so so so so good! I mean so so so good! I go there every time I am in the area, even if it means driving out of my way. I am not a fast food person and I never really liked tacos then I tried this place. The tacos ( Mexican style) are amazing! What I imagine real Mexican food to be if I ever went there. I have literally came and purchased 60 one time to let my family try them. They are ruined for fast food tacos smothered in all that stuff! They now just want Taco Ts, Mexican style or nothing at all. Keep up the good work! Pro tip: give your self extra time to go: this is not fast food even though they have a drive thru or better yet, call in your order ahead of time.

First timer - Don't let the outside look fool you... The food was really good! I got steak and chicken tacos Mexican style and a side of rice. They were really helpful, and really quick. They do have a drive thru but no indoor seating. They have outdoor seating but you know this Atlanta heat ran me to my car QUICK! I WILL be back!

I have been ordering from here for awhile and their food is always fresh, tasty and authentic! Their service is also very friendly, quick and efficient. I ordered Tortas today for the first time and they were BOMB! Always ask for the green sauce to go with it!

Came here for a quick bite on the way out of town and was extremely pleased with the quality, price and service. Will definitely be back.

I almost don't want to write about this because I want this to stay a secret gem forever. I've been coming to Taco T's for 4 years now and I am so glad I took a chance one Sunday afternoon all those years ago. LOCATION/AMBIENCE: Doesn't look like much from the outside, you used to be able to sit inside, but after the pandemic, it seems they have yet to re-open the inside. A few tables outside and a walk-up window, but the best thing of all is the DRIVE THRU WINDOW!! As noted on their sign "this is not fast food", they're still making your tacos to order and though it takes a bit of time, it's ALWAYS worth it. FOOD: I've only ever gotten tacos, Mexican-style, and I think I will only ever get Mexican-style tacos because they are just THAT good. I cannot bring myself to order anything else. My favorites include: Chorizo Tacos (don't sleep on the chorizo, it's probably the BEST taco), Steak Tacos, Barbacoa Tacos, Pastor, and Pollo (which is still a fave, but the least fave of the faves, if I had to rank them). HOT TIP: Do NOT miss out on the Rice + Beans, I do not know what kind of magic they're pulling with these refried beans, but Harry Potter himself couldn't do it. Listen, I do not like refried beans. Any other restaurant, I just think they're weird and gross. HOWEVER, one time I ordered rice and got the rice/bean mixture on accident, but turns out... it was a God-ordained experience. I cannot get enough. They're my favorite and the only refried beans I, to this day, enjoy eating. I can't explain it. It's magic (or holy). VALUE: This cannot be beat!! My husband and I order three tacos each with 2 orders of rice and beans and it's $22. It's cheaper than if we went to Taco Bell, and tastes 1000000% better. (And this is coming from a Taco Bell fan). Taco T's you have my heart.

This place was not somewhere I would've selected but it was recommended to me and omg did I love it! I got a chicken soft taco and a steak soft taco both prepared Mexican style. The steak taco was to die for and also so cheap, loveee it! They don't have margaritas which i didn't know but I know some locations do. I also got a side of rice and beans which were heavenly. The cinnamon cookie is actually four bite sized pieces and super soft. Great service and manners from the employees and super speedy. I didn't get a picture of the menu but it's easy to find.

The taco here is very flavorful, the best I had around the area. We ordered taco with crunchy shell, for the steak taco, the shredded beef taco, the marinated beef taco and the mixed taco( beef, bacon and chorizo ). We didn't try pork taco because beef is too good and they don't have fish taco . The crunchy shell adds more texture to the bite. We asked for mild salsa and it is a bit spicy for me. There is plenty of parking spots, but the store only has outdoor seating and drive through. The service is fast.

Small, unassuming authentic Mexican spot. I was passing through the area and starving so decided to check them out for tacos. I loved that you could order through the side window. I also saw ppl who ordered online and used the window to pick up. There was a steady flow of customers so that was a great sign. The woman who helped me was so sweet and helpful. I ended up getting the authentic chicken and barbacoa (beef) tacos. They have so many options! The tacos were made fresh and were tasty/filling. I come through this area about 1x month and I absolutely plan to be back to try more items. Also, definitely get the green sauce!

Even though she could not join us this time, my oldest daughter told us about this place. She advised it was a quick drive-through Mexican restaurant with some good food.  We approached the small storefront and pulled into the short drive in line.  Their menu was pretty extensive with plenty to choose from.  We quickly got to the order intercom.  I ordered 2 hard shell chicken tacos with a side of rice and beans. Wifey ordered 4 hard shell carnitas tacos with a fruit punch soda. My youngest ordered 3 soft shell barbacoa tacos on corn tortillas. The woman at the pick-up window was very nice and accommodating of a few changes. We pulled into one of the open parking spots and jumped in for a taste. We all enjoyed our food. My hard shells were very crunchy and did not explode after the 1st bite. My daughter and I agreed that the meat in our tacos could have used a little more seasoning, but we enjoyed them. Oh, and ask for the red sauce if you want a spicy kick.  3.5 rating

It's been a few years since we've come across town to visit. Finally came back and glad we did. My wife and I ordered a mix bag of tacos including soft Pastor and Bistec Mexican style, and crunchy Molida American style. The tortillas were fresh and the meat was seasoned perfectly. We also ordered the Molida burrito (Mexican style) and Huevo a La Mexicana breakfast burrito. Both were extremely fresh and the perfect size for burritos. Washing it all down with an ice cold Horchata made it a perfect combination. I definitely recommend this establishment for your taco fix and to try something new. I've never tired the Tortas or Sopes, so may have to try those next time.

I've since had a different encounter with the staff member and the staff and it's been good. Great food best tacos in the area.

Wow wow wow!!! 10/10. 5 stars. Lol Today was my first time coming here. I got 4 chicken tacos and OMG they were delicious!! They say they're not a fast food spot because they make the food to order, but I can say their service was super quick! I ordered through the drive through and by the time I pulled up to the window my food was pretty much ready! The prices are great. I paid $10 and change for four tacos. They are street taco size, so keep that in mind, but they definitely put a nice amount of meat in them. I have no complaints about the price and I'm nice and full. The chicken was seasoned well, so the tacos were delicious on their own, but once I added the salsa verde and lime...forget about it. Definitely coming back.

Omg! The food was magnificent! It was so good, I had to focus & type my review afterwards. I've always wanted to try this place & I finally did. It was so worth it. This might be my new addiction. I wish the tacos were cheaper so I could buy a bunch at once *sad face* The rice and beans were delicious. Like wow! I am so impressed. Highly recommend eating here & of course I will be returning!!

Love Love Love Taco T!! The sopas are the best and I appreciate the fresh preparation. The wait is minimal and well worth it!! I try different drinks and meats and am never disappointed.

Visited here for the first time today after a doctors appointment across the street. Ordered steak burrito Mexican style add avocado and sour cream, and a barbacoa burrito American style. The steak burrito was missing the avocado and sour cream I ordered and paid extra for. When I got home and bit my burrito, it was tasteless and dry. It was the driest burrito I've ever had. Also, the entire burrito had no flavor. Not even the meat. Definitely won't be back. I did give it 2 stars because the 2 lady employees were nice.

Got a discada burrito Mexican style without beans. It was a decent burrito and pretty filling. My only complaint was that it was a little dry. I wish there was some salsa inside or something or the meat was juicier. I feel like it wasn't that flavorful either to be honest. I will however say the hot sauce is actually really spicy but delicious, so be sure to try a little first before dumping it onto your food. Overall it's a pretty average place. I feel like their taco would have tasted better. I will definitely come back to try their tacos.

Definitely one of my favorite local spots. The food is always top tier as well as the customer service. Daniela and Jeremy are patient, cool and efficient. Taco T is a solid vibe.

We ordered takeout and it took a little longer than a fast food restaurant, but the service was good, the food was great, and the prices were on par with comparable restaurants.

First, we have eaten here when they first opened. It was 5 Stars, and then last year we tried a few more times, and it was not very good to say the least. Now, it's back to how it was when they opened. Good food and good quality. Today we had Mexican tacos, Texas tacos, and lime/salt jalapeños. Fantastic!!! Quality of products were great, and taste was delicious. Will return. We highly recommend.

I love the food here! It's always fresh, warm, and tasty. I like ordering the carne asada burrito, or my personal favorite a bacon, egg, and cheese + pico quesadilla. My sister loves the tortas. The agua frescas are good here too! You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu!

You ever heard of "don't judge a book by its cover?" Yeah? Well that's Taco T. I had no intention of stopping here because it looks shady af from the street. Words like "money laundering" came to mind when passing this building...a few others as well...but good food was not one of them. That was before someone I know personally advocated for this place everyday for like 2 months. & At some point curiosity got the best of me. I went. I ate. I conquered. Taco T's tacos are delicious and suuuper cheap. Their hard and soft tacos are both worth a try. For the hard tacos I suggest American style, soft Mexican style. My fave was the barbacoa, but all were great. Also their horchata was a great choice to wash it all down. Note, I went on a trip to Mexico City like 2-3 weeks before I tried TT and their tacos were comparible. It's def worth the try, don't let the Ozark exterior fool you.

Wow! This place has some of the best tacos I've had in Georgia. There's another place I go to in Marietta but this one offers the convenience of a drive-through. I typically get the crunchy beef tacos Mexican style with sour cream. I haven't tried any other item on the menu because I am hooked on the tacos. Next time I'm definitely going to give the quesadilla a try. Everything taste super fresh and authentic. Pros: Drive through, walk up window, easy to read menu, delicious food, decent service. Cons: The wait time is ridiculous.I'm not sure if this is a true con as they have it posted near the drive-in window that this is not a fast food restaurant. I love and respect that everything is freshly made however due to the demand they could use probably more cooks and just a more efficient way to service customers.

Authentic street tacos, it's a small shack off the road so if you drive too fast you'll pass it. The tacos are delicious except the American style ones, why I even tried one is beyond me don't get it. Stick with the street tacos, they come with sauce a spicy red and a mild green both are great but if you don't like spicy don't get the red.

I have been eating at Taco T for years. I don't know if they've gone under new management or what but recently they've not been up to par. Not only have their prices increased, but the flavor is sorely lacking. My husband went to pick up a meal - I got 3 barbacoa tacos - the taco shells were half way filled and the barbacoa was dry and burnt. The limes were not ripe and wouldn't squeeze out any juice. They forgot to give my husband our jarritos and the beans in the rice and beans did not even have a bean texture, it was like they had been put in a blender and emulsified. If I wanted to eat baby food, I would gone to the grocery store. When I called the store and asked to speak to the manager the girl on the phone asked if it was something urgent... who does that?! If I'm calling to speak with the manager, don't you think I have a reason? When he got on the phone he wanted me to drive up there for a refund. Kick rocks bro. I'm not going out of my way to fix your problem. Yours truly, Dissatisfied and Disappointed

I've been to Taco T once over 20 years ago, I have been missing out. The food is good and made to order. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There are a few ways you can order. The foyer is not open but you can walk up to the window on the side of the parking lot and order, call it in, have it delivered, go through the drive-thru, or order online. For online orders, you will get a text that will let you know your food is ready. and you will receive a text message of your receipt. The red sauce is fire in a mini cup, the green sauce adds just enough flavor to your meal. The best is the tortillas are homemade!!! If you're in Smyrna looking for Authentic Mexican, stop by and give it a try.

Top notch tacos, great flavors. I really like that you can choose the style. They did recently bump their prices but who hasn't? And they are still affordable. My only gripe is the wait times. I realize it's not fast food but we've sometimes waited 30 minutes for tacos which feels a bit excessive. This eliminates them from consideration when I'm under any sort of time constraints. If the wait times weren't so questionable I'd give them 5 stars no doubt about it.

This is hands down the best taco joint. Everything is made when you order and the quality is amazing. I have tried pretty much everything on the menu but my fav is the shredded beef American style. The fresh made drinks are amazing too

TACO T! Best tacos in Atlanta and the metro area. I eat here at least once a week, and they are always consistent. The crunchy tacos are my favorite, and they offer Mexican - American style tacos, which takes the tacos to another level. If you're in Smyrna...it's a must!

If you like tacos, look no further. I don't care where you live - this is your taco shop now!! I make the drive up from intown and it's worth every second of 75N agony, so there will be no excuses. I love that they have a short but sweet menu. You really can customize your meal however you want. Choose your carrier (burrito, soft taco, crunchy taco, quesadilla, etc), choose your meat, choose your style (Mexican or American), and then just wait anxiously until they beckon you back up to the window for your tasty, tasty meal. They have a selection of meats ranging from ground beef to pork belly. My personal favorite is the barbacoa. The chorizo is a bit salty for me but has a great texture. You really can't go wrong. Personally, I like to get a crunchy ground beef taco, American style; a soft barbacoa taco, Mexican style; and a machacha and eggs burrito. Ask for extra sauces because you will want them! Five stars, all around!!
