We went there for an early dinner after researching decent spots around Lincoln Rd, I had never heard of this place before.
The restaurant is really nice, casual, very open with a nice decoration, I really liked it.
Service was quick and attentive, nothing to complain about.
The food was a mixed bag, the guacamole was good. Very fresh, generous portion. It was a no frills guac, but well done.
We then had some tacos, we tried the birria, pastor, chicken and baja fish. We only really liked the chicken one, it was flavorful. The others were disappointing and not like the ones we had in Mexico just a couple of months prior. The pastor was greasy, and lacked flavor. Same for the birria (which I've seen but never tried in Mexico, so maybe I just don't like birria tacos...), it was overall greasy and again lacked flavor, it comes with a little sauce that didn't taste like much. The fish was definitely freshly made, and was quite a good portion, but alas, it was bland... I also think some of their tacos should be served with 2 tortillas, especially for the price, as they're messy to eat and the toppings are too wet, the one tortilla gets soggy too quickly.
We had margaritas, they were ok.
