Where To Eat Near 11 Comedy Clubs In NYC - New York - The Infatuation

"Not only is Tacombi always a reliable choice for tacos and palomas, but the Fort Greene location is about a six-minute walk from Eastville (and convenient if you’re taking the G train). So come here on your way home - or to wherever you’re going to process the comedian who spent 20 minutes on the floor doing a roomba bit." - hannah albertine

The Ride-Along Report: First Takes From Last Night’s Dinner

"What It Is: Another location of a mini chain with tacos, palomas, and lots of pastel colors Perfect For: Casual Weeknight Meal, Outdoor Patio Situation One day, there might be a Tacombi every few blocks, like Starbucks or CVS. They just keep opening up - and the latest location is in Fort Greene just across the street from the Brooklyn Academy of Music. We came to check it out the other day, and it felt pretty much like every other Tacombi. In other words, it was bright, friendly, and was sort of like a beach party inside. The space isn’t huge, but there’s a great outdoor patio off to the side, and the tacos are as good (and slightly overpriced) as always. The Verdict: A great place for either a casual meal or some margaritas with friends in Fort Greene." - hannah albertine, bryan kim, katherine lewin, hillary reinsberg, chris stang, matt tervooren

Tacombi Fort Greene - Review - Fort Greene - New York - The Infatuation

"Tacombi is a mini chain of taco spots, and all the locations have the same pastel color scheme and backyard-party-near-a-beach atmosphere. This one in Fort Greene is on the smaller side, but it does have a great little patio off to the side, and it’s right across the street from BAM. So if you see something there, get a paloma and some tacos here afterwards. The tacos are great (even if they’re a little smaller than we’d like), and there are also other options like quesadillas and ceviche." - Bryan Kim

Google
Can't say enough positive things about this place. Absolutely best tacos I've ever had. The fried baja is amazing! Gotta check them out when in town 🔥

Google
Super fun authentic taqueria right across from BAM. it was packed on a Friday night but we got there early around 5:30p. The margaritas were perfect (ask for no sugar). The crispy fish taco was the best. Short rib also delicious. We’re ordered all the Entradas and they were all good especially the rice and beans and corn esquites.

Google
Not sure why they only have a 4.3 rating—this place is amazing! The food is super authentic, and it honestly feels like I’m in Mexico. I had a margarita with Tajín, and even the Tajín is homemade! I’ll definitely be coming back. I had beef Birria and Pollo taco and my husband loved beef ribeye quesadilla. Their sodas are good too! End with Churros. 😊

Google
Tacombi never fails! I’ve gone here many days before or after a movie and this time, it was tacos and drinks on Mother’s Day. We got guac+chips, 4 types of tacos: the baja crispy fish, seared fish, shrimp, and birria tacos, and a few margaritas. it was a great snack and intermission though I’ve had plenty dinners there as well! I highly recommend.

Emma is the greatest hostess! She managed the chaos of a busy Taco Tuesday at the Lafayette/Brooklyn location with grace and humor. She used every spare moment to clear tables, help the servers, and, in general, make the dining experience positive for all. And the food, of course, was delicious. The fish tacos were a standout and the margaritas had just the right balance of lime tartness and sweetness. The huge portion of guacamole with chips was fresh and delicious.

I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the wonderful experience we had at your restaurant this past Tuesday during your happy hour/Taco Tuesday event. Stephanie provided exceptional service with the utmost professionalism, and we thoroughly enjoyed every dish we ordered. The fish tacos, shrimp quesadilla, and chicken burrito, along with the margaritas, were all outstanding and deserving of a five-star rating. Thank you so much for such a delightful dining experience! We look forward to visiting Tacombi again soon.!!

Popped in for a quick bite and a refreshing drink before seeing Henry IV at the theater nearby. Fantastic fish taco and refreshing watermelon aqua fresca. Great friendly service in a lively lovely restaurant. I forgot to take a photo of the yummy taco. It was perfect!

Google
The tacos were good across the board, and the shrimp taco stood out for me. The service was very distracted even though there were more waiters than customers early on a weekday. The ambience is hard to pin down. I like it, but it feels strange. It's like a mix of a hospital, someone's house, and it looks unfinished.

Yelp
Fast, Flavorful & Full of Good Vibes Tacombi - Lafayette St, NYC Yelp Elite Review Stopped in for a quick bite with two of my sister-friends and was seriously impressed with how efficient and delicious everything was. The vibe is casual and cool--perfect for a mid-day taco fix or a chill dinner meetup. Shoutout to Nat V for providing 10/10 service--friendly, fast, and on point the entire time. Now for the food rundown: * Fish & Shrimp Tacos - Solid 8/10. Fresh, flavorful, and hit the spot. * Avocado Tostada w/ extra spicy sauce - 10/10. Creamy, spicy, and completely addictive. * Shrimp with Black Beans & Rice - 8.5/10. Hearty, satisfying, and well-seasoned. The kicker? Everything came out lightning fast. No exaggeration--they don't play about timing here. We were in and out, full and happy, with a total tab of just $36. Definitely a win. I'll absolutely be back when I have more time to sit, snap some pics, and dive into the drink menu. This spot is a hidden gem for a quick and tasty bite in Downtown Brooklyn.

Yelp
Let me start off this review by saying this, I've worked in the service industry for many years and have always been generous about the overall situation, but sadly this Tacombi location had some of the worst service I've experience. We booked a reservation for 6:30, everyone was on time except for myself. Take that into consideration I informed my party what i would order to ensure all the food was there prior to my arrival. I arrived at 6:45 and yet no water, chips, or orders have been taking from my party of six. I inquired why and everyone looked as dumb founded as I was. I did see that there was a decent amount of foot traffic and mind you no one in my party is as out spoken as myself. So as we sat there approaching 6:55pm we finally were greeted by a waiter. Unknowing to my knowledge I was told the waiter had come around once but had yet to provide any water or to the table as all drinks were currently served. No biggie... the waiter arrived we ordered and once again asked for water in addition to other drinks. We began to watch as other customers and guests were sat down and were catered to as we kind of sat there aimlessly twirling our thumbs wondering if we had been forgot about. At this point I took it upon myself to go to the bar to retrieve the drinks that were probably never coming in addition to asking for water. (7:10pm) I informed our waiter I understand that they are experiencing high volume but just small communication would have been appreciated. I kind of began to get a bit frustrated when my wife informed me that the table behind us was seated after us and had already received their food and drinks. Now I'm like WTF ?!? But yet and still I'm very understanding. Our waiter was kind but seemed overwhelmed and it seemed like there was a lack of communication going on between the kitchen and the staff. Why may you ask did I come to this assessment, well, it was because once we received our food it was wrong I mean like dishes had toppings we asked to be removed, items were forgot, and if it wasn't for my very out going personality I would have never received the drinks I ordered. I'm going to be completely transparent here I am a Brooklynite by heart true native New York and when I looked around I didn't see too many people of color in this environment, it felt as if all my fellow white counterparts were being waited on hand and foot while we were being pushed to the side. But wait ! A young African American woman that was seated 20-25 mins after us was served as the queen she probably was. I was taken back, almost flabbergasted by the way servers swooped to her with finesse and ease, and in the same breath almost heart broken that we had yet to receive that kind of service and treatment. Nonetheless being the man and dad I am i began to inquire if everything at the table was accurate and went from there and ensure the rest of the evening went well. This isn't a post to bash anyone or discredit the staff nor restaurant but to respectfully inform them on how I was amazed that they actually had it in them, but either 1. Choose not to show that service to our party or 2. Was selective with who they deemed worthy. I sadly will not be coming back to this location and I'll spare that extra details that I could write on and on about, but in hindsight it made me realize why I'm extremely selective about the places I venture to. Maybe I'll visit the Tacombi in SoHo again because I never had a negative experience or not one that was so baffling that I wrote an essay on. Needless to say I wish them the best and hope this bias behavior that was displayed from my fellow Hispanic brothers and sisters isn't an example of how they conduct business. Sidebar the bartender speedy nice and smooth. Sadly no apology was issued or even acknowledged by them. Mad love tho Tacombi

Yelp
Service was nice and quick. I found the fish taco to be nice and crispy with flavor. But the birria ramen was underwhelming. The ribeye taco was alright. Didn't really leave a good or bad impression.

Yelp
I've been a long time fan of Tacombi, and this location is conveniently located right across from BAM for be as when I see a show (or more accurately, Ina Garten's book tour). I have my regular order at Tacombi which usually consists of the corn, the al pastor taco, and the fried fish taco. Fish tacos are one of my favorite things, and here they have both fried and seared as options. I also loveeee their Paloma cocktail -- do yourself a favor and get the pitcher. On a Tuesday around 6pm before a sold out show, it was about a 30-45min wait. We ended getting a seat at the bar which he first come first serve after about 15min. A great spot to come if you're looking for reliable Mexican food with a consistent menu and good drinks.

Yelp
Usually before seeing something at BAM I play a game in which I try to remember if I like Tacombi. So already you can tell that the food is not memorable enough to be loved or hated. Recently I played this game and was reminded that it's a 2.5-3 star experience. It's barely passable Mexican food. Usually over-salted but also too bland, no spice unless you use the salsas. It serves its purpose in terms of preventing purchases of overpriced concessions at BAM but doesn't go beyond that. Service is good, ambiance is fine. But if you're looking for good Mexican food you will want to keep searching.

Yelp
Please be careful with not letting seafood or fish mix with the non-seafood meat! We ordered carne asada burrito and something inside was contaminated enough with seafood to trigger my allergy. Thankfully I was able to react quickly enough with my medication.

Yelp
Came for the Califa de Leon tacos at Tacombi with friends. We tried both the steak and pork tacos. Starting with the good and great, the ambience was lovely, plenty of seating, and things were organized well within the restaurant. Our service was fantastic and super quick, attentive, friendly. The biggest let down was actually the tacos!!! I have had street tacos for half the price that tasted far better... It felt like the meat wasn't seasoned at all. The tortilla was pretty delicious and the flavor reallyy pops. I tried both the steak and pork tacos (4 for $22) during dinner and was not satiated... The vibes were good and the service was great, but the food was a let down. I've had tacombi before and I almost feel like the regular tacos are better.

Yelp
Tacombi is a good choice when you have a large party. They are accommodating and the food is decent. Food: we had Al pastor tacos, carne asada, guac and chips. It was ok. The carne asada was ehh and the Al pastor tacos were ok. Their watermelon margarita is super delicious. Service: friendly and fast service. Ambiance: it felt a little overwhelming with the amount of people. We had a large party and were accommodated but it felt a little tight because the tables are so close together in the outdoor covered dining area. Also because it's outdoors, depending where you sit, the heat hits you directly and it's too hot, or the heat barely hits you and it's cold. I recommend sitting inside and keeping it small, 4 people max.

Yelp
Went for my first time this past weekend. Worst location I've been to in New York. Our waitress brought over half of our food after we had been waiting for 30 minutes and told us the rest of our items will be out in just a couple minutes. 20 minutes goes by and she hasn't come back to our table. I had to go up to the hostess to ask her to bring our waitress over because there were issues with items we had already gotten and that we were still missing some of our food. When our waitress came back we told her what we were missing and she said she would go see what was going on. We waited another 20 minutes but nothing came, we paid for what we got then left. Horrible service, no communication, I understand it was somewhat busy but I would've expected some sort of discount or at least remorse for our experience. I will never return, sucks because what we did receive was good. Other locations are better, skip this one!

Yelp
Love this location of tacombi since it is right next to bam and great for a nice bite before or after some culture. Great food as always. Fast and fresh. Fast service.

Yelp
I walked in to this place before the show at BAM, it's busy has a great vibe. and we thought we would just come in for a quick bite becasue it's taco should be fast. but it took almost an hour for two taco orders. not sure if they forgot our order, but we asked three times finally another waitress came over to help us sort it out . food is good but dont have time to try more becasue it was too slow.

Yelp
I was walking to my other job and I'm always walking by this spot and I decided to go there for lunch, I saw a tic tok video recently of birria ramen and I love anything birria so I ordered the birria ramen, two fish tacos and a classic margarita with salted rim, service was fast my server checked on me to make sure I was good and the place is beautiful on the inside I loved the all white, big windows it's perfect for a solo brunch or a date.
google avatar

Yelp
Tortillas have great corn flavor. The pork is dry but the salsa gives it good moisture. The beef is very thin and harder to eat. The tortilla falls apart while biting through the beef. Neither were particularly stand out but like many have mentioned the salsas are great.
google avatar

Yelp
Everything I ate tasted so good. Reminded me of when friends' moms would cook for me; authentic and with love. Gio/Geo was a great server and was patient with us as we decided what we wanted. Definitely will be returning.

Yelp
I've heard so many mixed messages for Tacombi but decided to try it anyways because it was very close to the Barclay's Center. We ended up having to sit outside as we were quite a large party but that's alright. - Corn Esquites - I really need to try Mexican Street Corn because I love corn and I love Mexican seasoning. This was my first time trying Corn Esquites and I loved it as the sweet corn went perfectly well with the cheese and other seasonings. What a great way to start the meal. - Seared Fish Tacos - This taco was not too memorable. Can't really remember what the flavors were anymore, and also it was a bit expensive. - Agua De Sandia - Why was this one of the best drinks I've had in NYC? I don't know why, but this juice was so incredibly fresh, the watermelon flavor was very full. It also wasn't too sweet as well which would make me feel like they put an excessive amount of sugar in there. Highly recommend getting this drink! Overall, not bad experience at Tacombi especially as everything but the tacos (the corn and drinks) were delicious. Definitely would come back if going to Barclay's Center again.

Yelp
Have eaten here to go and seated multiple times and have a few thoughts. Delivery hasn't really been worth it for us, aside from the to-go cocktail (the Sandía Santa is fantastic and comes in a cute little jug with a resealable lid). Other than that, the small guacamole leaves a lot to be desired in terms of portion size, and the food just felt lacking compared to eating it fresh at the restaurant. Now as far as dining at the restaurant, I have nothing but good things to say. We ordered guacamole and corn esquites which tasted fresh and were sizable portions! The beef birria and al pastor tacos were incredible and you can really taste the quality of the ingredients. All of the salsas shined in their own way, with the green Gobernador Salsa being my favorite in terms of spice to flavor. We sat outside which was pleasant and service was good, nothing out of the ordinary. Overall, I would eat here again, especially in the summer!

Barbara B.

Yelp
Went in last night was immediately greeted by staff. The environment was very welcoming . Bathrooms were very clean, service was quick. These tacos were some of the best I've had . I wish this location was closer to my house!!! Please go and support. You will not regret it!!!!!!!

Yelp
I saw this place, always had in the city was so exited to have some snacks on the way home, manager or seem the impression was a manager (rude), so a server ask me if I need help, give me a table, order 3 things my mood was change, saw the menu very limited, food had not the impression I had in manhattan, all the staff is in a rush to leave, even the website say close at 11 they gad 1 hour to go ,had my food no one came back to ask if everything was ok NOT RECOMEN
google avatar

Pett O.

Yelp
Do not consider ordering from here with UBER EATS. You face the likely risk of finding out that your delivery time grows from 30 minutes to 40, then to 60, and later above 2 hours, and raising; and if you cancel it you are charged the full check by Uber, for getting nothing. NO FOOD, by FULL COST. Can it get any worse? It has happened to me. The Tacombi team tries to help but there is nothing they can do. They should just abandon Uber, as I did last night. Don't put yourself in this situation. I used to love this place. Now it gives me very bad feelings. I removed it from my list.

Yelp
We have been coming here for a while now. Good to come in a place and be remembered. Shout out to Nat for being a solid person and server to the Drayton Family!!! Happy Sunday!

Yelp
Oh my YUM!!! When I visit Brooklyn for work I purposely stay at a hotel within walking distance of this place! I eat as many meals possible here, working my way through the menu! Extraordinary food and service- every single time! I have had almost every kind of taco. Each has its own unique flavor, rich and colorful. The guacamole is perfection- it would taste amazing on cardboard! The atmosphere is warm and friendly no matter what time of day I have been there. Tonight I got to meet Gio and it all makes sense- this food is made and shared with us with love. Totally worth going out in the freezing cold!!!
google avatar

Yelp
came when they had the collab w the michelin star spot in mexico. not sure what i was expecting but it was just a bit bland for me. i wish it had come with maybe some onions and cilantro and not just with the salsas

Yelp
Mexican food heaven .... The shrimp taco and fish taco are amazing... my mouth is like "what is this delicious taco?!" The spicy margaritas are amazing and before 7 pm is happy hour!!!! My favorite is the corn but that Sinaloa shrimp is just so delicious the best thing here ! All thanks to the nice waitress who recommended it!
google avatar

Yelp
On a sunny Sunday after a workout. We sat in the indoor/outdoor sun room, which had a warming greenhouse effect. We ordered Baja fish tacos, guacamole and birria tacos. And some margaritas to enjoy the afternoon. The birria tacos were delicious and super crunchy, which I recommend. I usually get the Baja fish tacos and they were consistent, though the tortilla was slightly soggy by the time we received them. Guac was on point! Great place for a quick lunch or drink.

Yelp
This specific location has great energy. Most Tacombi restaurants I've tried have great food. This one didn't disappoint either! Only change I would make if a corn on the cob but that's just a personal preference. Staff was efficient and friendly - our food was yummy and the drinks were perfection.

Yelp
Came in on a Wednesday afternoon for happy hour. It was very empty but the waiter couldn't help to mention that he had to look for seating since there was "many reservations." Two minutes later, they miraculously found us seating outside. They gave us two menus, pencils are on the table, you fill in what you like. Twenty minutes passed, no one came to check us on. We had to flag someone down to take our food and drink order. Bigger groups of specific people (if you know what I mean) had their orders taken way before us even though they came after. They pick and choose who they give good service to. Service: 1/5 Margarita's are $9 for happy hour, they were strong and tasty. Al pastor tacos were okay, the meat wasn't well seasoned but I loved the chunk of pineapple and tenderness of the pork. Would I ever come back? Absolutely not, not even worth it.
google avatar

Nery A.

Yelp
I came here for a friend's birthday celebration and I was excited because I love a good taco but I should have known it was going to be expensive because of where it's located. I know everything is more expensive but when I saw that the tacos are about $7 each, I expected it to be stuffed or a bit bigger than the tacos I get for $3 in my neighborhood. I got the complete opposite. I got like 6 pieces of carne and a slice of pickled jalapeños. There wasn't any cilantro or any other garnishes on it. They did serve a bunch of bottles with different sauces and that's what ended up saving my taco. I ordered the Baja fish taco because i had read that this place serves the best Baja fish and I've got to admit that it was pretty good thanks to the poblano mayo in it. This place does serve the best corn esquites I've ever had. I ordered Jamaica aqua fresca and I got a little cup with it. I told the waiter that I had not asked for a shot and he told me that it was actually a tiny cup of aguave honey for the Jamaica. I had a sip and realized that the honey was necessary and that made all the difference in flavor. The ambiance was chill and we sat at an outdoor tented area, which was well-heated and lit up like the Red District at Amsterdam. I dug the lighting and the service. The staff was very helpful and quick with the orders. They make it easier for everyone to order by placing menus on the table with pencils where you can check what you want to eat. It was definitely different but it was quick and efficient. Oh

Yelp
This is another Mexican place recommended by my brother-in-law. He said he and his boyfriend come once a week. I think they come so often that the hostess knows their names and they know her name. This place is a chain. There's actually one location on the UES. They sat us in the back patio under a red light, which is why all the pictures have a red glow to them...sorry about that. I actually really liked this place. It is authentic Mexican. My BIL and my husband got the burritos. My BIL's boyfriend got a quesadilla. I started with 2 tacos and I was still really hungry after wards so I got a third taco. It was a mistake because I ended up feeling super full afterwards. But I think the food was really good and if it weren't so far, we'd go more often.

Yelp
A few friends and I ate here before seeing a show nearby at the Irondale Center in Fort Greene. The restraunt is located in what used to be Berlyn, across the street from the BAM opera house. Its super close to the Atlantic Terminal as well. I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful interiror and outdoor heated patio. There was lots of room to socially distance if you wanted to. We started indoors and ended up moving to a larger table when more friends joined us. Both were very cool! You start by filling out a paper with what you'd like to order. We shared an order of the chips and guac, I got a watermellon cocktail, and a few types of tacos to sample. My friends also ordered drinks, tacos, and a quesadilla. I was surprised the quesadilla came "open face" or without a lid. It must be a Tex-Mex or Americanized version I'm familar with. Anyway - I loved all of the tacos and would order them all again. The chips and guac was a standout - and my watermellon cocktail. I can't believe the portion size for the chips and guac! Literally half the plate was guac, and the chips were homemade and thick. 10/10. My cocktail was made with real watermellon. It was a great experience, and I would deffinitely return.

Yelp
Walked in here on a Saturday night. Place was packed and we were a party of 8. The hostess and manager Gio were so sweet and so helpful and figured out a table for us. Best vibes, best food, best drinks

Yelp
Fantastic service. Incredible food. And gotta love the mezcal! Love the Williamsburg location and fort Greene spot is just as good !

Yelp
Loved the food and the service! The margaritas were great!! Was able to eat on the patio which was bright and cozy even for November

Yelp
Usually I enjoy this spot but the food came out notably dry. The servers and host were accommodating, but we were greeted twice and had to ask for water twice. We also asked for hot sauce but it never came out. Otherwise the restaurant has a cute setup and lighting, but they should fix their wobbly chairs

Yelp
Great dinner and drinks! Gio served it up for us. He let us try a premium platinum tequila and it was delicious! always love coming here and will continue to do so

Yelp
This restaurant should be considered a staple in Brooklyn, if your looking for authentic Mexican food and drinks this is the place. If you've ever visited Mexico and ate in the local places then Tacombi will take you right back to that. Everything about this place screams Mexico, from the tile wall decor, iron chairs and table, lipita Augusta's frescas and sodas lining the walls, fruits. What I love about this place is the food, the price point is excellent and the food is filling and tasty. They cater to everyone, vegan, pescatarian those who eats everything, my go too is the rice and beans which comes with a few tortilla chips on top, corn esquites, avocado tostadas and their pineapple juice that's freshly made. The severs are polite and friendly, the food is expedited in a timely manner. 10/10

Yelp
Gio and Paula were absolutely amazing and so so hospitable. They essentially played Tetris to find a way to get our party of 6 seated and were very attentive and kind.

Yelp
Everything here is SO good! I've been here for breakfast, lunch and for dinner and have never been disappointed. Their breakfast tacos are delicious; just be careful if you order them to go because they tend to leak in the bag lol. The Baja Fish tacos are super tasty, as are the Corn Esquites and the Guac and Chips. And don't even get me started on the agua frescas! The watermelon is my favorite. Prices are right, too, which is rare for good restaurants in this area.

Yelp
Best Fish Taco I've ever had (and I lived in Mexico for 6 months). Jamica tea no sugar as well. Great service and Gio was amazing. I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
Tacombi is my neighborhood favorite. The food is consistently delicious. Go tos are the avocado tostado and vegetarian quesadilla and corn esquites. So good! The watermelon cocktail is also amazing. Overall fast service and consistently delicious food.

Yelp
When asked if I would return surprise surprise for the first time ever I would have to say no to tacos. I feel like changing my mind already but anyway it's not just tacos. Passing by on my way to Atlantic terminal this was the second Latin restaurant with outdoor seating and a huge red bus as their extended outdoor structure across from the BAM. My first thought was cold water and shade. I was hungry of course so tacos woooowhoo and maybe beer to. I walk up & the hostess is PAHZAZZZ like full of energy and quick and attentive. Like his energy woke me up! I headed in the structure which was my first choice of seating- it was HOT in there I was like omg no. Headed for the tables with umbrellas and got lucky to get a small slice of shade to hang under. I ordered from the cute paper choice menu with the cute little pencils that they had. Crispy fish taco- 5/5 Perfect, crispy, sauce worked well Carnitas- 1/5 This steak taco was a no for me no flavor Esquite- 3/5 Interesting in a cup, decent toppings cute little spoon but half way down it was watery which I didn't like Watermelon cocktail- 2/5 It was missing something very light beverage The service left me with much to be desired. Like in the end the server was like did you need something- I'm like yeah (napkins) that I got up and went to get myself after the food was served. Napkins should just be mandatory when you have finger foods. Spent $35 did not think it was worth it.

Yelp
Great place. Great location. We had a show at BAM so it was great place for pre show drink n dinner. The place was very busy, so was happy to get a table. I had the Rubio ( watermelon margarita?) really refreshing n my friend had classic margarita. The drinks could have been a little stronger though. We had beef burritas delicious. Chicken Tacos w rice n beans. Service is fast n staff is super friendly n courteous. I was surprised to see old reviews n noticed the owner is an old acquaintance of mine Eddie F. I was hoping to say hello but the staff said he had stepped out. Next time.

Yelp
We came for a quick meal post a show -- Since it was warm, we ordered the watermelon drink and horchata to start. They provide menus with pencils to select the options you want so we each selected different tacos as well as chips & guacamole. For tacos we had between us: seared fish, chicken, carnitas, al pastor, and shrimp. They initially missed the chicken and had to be reminded -- though honestly I was a bit full once that extra taco arrived. It seemed fresh and we enjoyed being able to sit outside under their structure on a muggy evening. It's a place I'd eat again though I'd label it more like healthy fast food.
