"Great food, terrible name. This hole-in-the-wall spot on Market St. is casual and serves excellent Mexican food. The tacos and sopes are the moves here, as is loading up on lots of the housemade salsa. It’s an affordable, pleasant place to sit down and eat thanks to the colorful walls and friendly people that work there." - Taylor Abrams

The food here was made to perfection. I loved everything — the variety of salsas, the guacamole, tacos, and burrito. The music that was playing inside was very groovy and had me dancing in my seat while I was eating. I also loved the artwork on the walls. Overall, great food and great vibes!

We loved this place so much that we went twice during our long weekend in San Francisco. The appeal for me was the option for corn tortillas for the quesadillas!! Just a bit more $ for a hugely different & delicious flavor with the corn tortillas. Loved the ingredients. Really friendly counter staff. Cute, clean place close rrh the Castro

Beautiful interior, great food and drinks, and stellar service make this worthy of five stars. I didn't expect much walking in. The interior is filled with vivid colors and murals. A rail divides the indoor seating from the waiting area. A chandelier hangs and shines over patrons enjoying their food and the kitchen is viewable through a window. I only ordered the chips and salsa for $3 and the mango-pineapple agua fresca for $4, but I could tell from seeing the other customers eat that the food is delicious. By the way, ordering was a breeze. The cashier prepared a bowl of chips, scooped the three salsas into a dipping tray with three compartments, and poured a glass of the agua fresca. I expected to carry my own food outside, where I planned to sit, but the cashier did it for me. The chips were really crispy and slightly warm. The three salsas were each unique in flavor, but all delicious. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the area and in the mood for Mexican food. The prices aren't too bad for San Francisco.

It is my favorite place in the area for Mexican. The textures here are on point and differentiates it from other places. However, they recently added back their gorditas, 🎉a pita like fried masa pocket filled with various yummy meat and veggie options loaded with pickled onions, pico de gallo, avocado and sour cream. GET IT! It is what draws me here every time! Love also their tender and smoky chicken pibil with wonderfully soft textured homemade tortillas either in a platter or a la carte taco. Love their almost jaw breaking crunchy chips and salsa which I am willing to pay for! I tend to not eat chips and salsa in most places even when they are giving them away for free!

If I go back to San Francisco, for sure I’ll end up in this Mexican place. Customer service is perfect, they help you navigate the amount of options in the menu and the place is simple but nicely decorated :) 100% recommend trying the Oaxaca cheese 🤤

Very helpful with finding my children something to eat( quesadilla) buuuuttttt the food was almost blan lacking the mexican lust. Although it looked good. Wayyyy to expensive. The corn basically was covered in Tajun not chile not worth $6.50 (which is why i choose this place). Salsa was pretty good, None too spicy. Overall it's mexican food for people lacking color(no offense)

Great late night Mexican fix! The staff was extremely accommodating and didn’t mind that we were a large group. The nachos were crunchy and delicious. Would go there again
