You’ll be mesmerized by the giant rotating spit of al pastor when you first walk in, but their other meats are equally delicious, especially the flavor-packed buche and lengua. "Now slated to take over Tacos El Gordo’s original 60-seat restaurant at the same address, I learned Tacos El Pastor plans to add a Mexican entertainment “supper club” component with an expanded front patio and a 60-foot stage for Mexican-themed entertainment (DJs or live bands scheduled 9 p.m.–2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday); they expect to operate 10 a.m.–2 a.m. daily (closing at 4 a.m. on weekends), the team includes operators of Pure Indian Cuisine and India Palace, temporary signage is already up but no opening date has been announced.
