Tacos Poblanos near Inglewood absolutely deserves every bit of its five-star reputation. I found it by chance after Alicia Villarreal's concert while scrolling through nearby spots with great ratings, and I figured it was worth taking my grandparents. I've had tacos in Tijuana hundreds of times, so my expectations were high, but this place completely delivered. The flavor, texture, and authentic street taco taste reminded me of Mexico in the best way. I ordered one gringa, two tacos, and a torta, and if I had to rank them, the tacos were definitely the best, then the gringa, and finally the torta. If it's your first time, go for the tacos because they're what this place does best.
The agua fresca situation was a bit confusing since they only had one left and it was almost gone, but that might have been because it was midweek. We went after the concert, and it was still very lively. The area isn't the safest-looking, but they have security on site who stays alert, which made me feel better. Parking was okay, though I can see it getting tight when it gets busier. The seating area is small and feels a little cramped because there are more display tables for food than actual tables for guests, so that's something I hope they expand. My grandpa ended up standing for a bit since space was limited, but the food made it worth it. For four people, we spent about fifty-six dollars, which was very reasonable for the amount and quality. We love supporting small local spots like this, and we'll definitely be coming back again.
