"This small, family-owned restaurant tucked inside a darling pink building in Huron Village is a godsend when you’re looking for a quieter dinner where you don’t have to shout to be heard over the music. Our favorites from the menu include the roasted brussels sprouts with persimmon chips, the housemade sourdough bread served with a heavenly chive-forward compound butter, and the crispy petite chicken with root vegetable puree. Asking someone out can be scary, but you’re going to have to push through those fears quickly if you want to snag that coveted 7pm-on-a-Saturday reservation at Talulla." - lala thaddeus, joel ang, dan secatore, tanya edwards

"I observed that Conor Dennehy of Talulla in Cambridge was a finalist for Best Chef: Northeast but did not win." - Erika Adams
"I found the little crunch salad from Cambridge darling Talulla anything but boring: a collection of start-of-spring vegetables—radishes, snow peas, and snap peas—mixed with tangy slivers of kumquat and topped with a dollop of a savory whey sorbet; I’d never been served sorbet as a salad component before, and I’m now 100 percent sold on the idea. The whole concoction tasted like a tiny little explosion of creativity on the plate and felt like a nugget of hope for the sunny, warm days and the beautiful produce that’s just around the corner in New England." - Erika Adams
"Led by Conor Dennehy, Talulla is a cozy six-year-old restaurant in Cambridge that follows the New England seasons across both an a la carte menu and a five-course tasting menu; Dennehy is a finalist for the James Beard Award’s Best Chef: Northeast for his work there." - Erika Adams
