TAP30

Tap30 was really solid! It’s a pretty cool place with a solid vibe. I ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwich and my waitress said it was one of their most popular items. It was really good! I can see why it’s a popular menu item. The fries were good, too. You can upgrade your fries for something else but there is an up charge that varies depending on what you get. My friend got the sweet potato fries (usually a favorite for me) and it was $2 more and they weren’t that good in my opinion. The sweet potato fries are really thin and overly sweet. Not bad but just not really how I’d like them. Overall, a good experience and I enjoyed the food that I ordered.

We had the Brussel sprouts and cauliflower appetizer and the lamb gyro. I ordered a pineapple cider which was so delicious! Everything was excellent. The best part was the nice spot on their patio that we could bring the doggo and the waitress brought her a cool bowl of water!

You can’t go wrong, nothing but great beer and delicious food here. Really good atmosphere and dog friendly on the front patio. Very glad we came here.

They had a great selection of beer on tap. The menu had decent choices, I had a gyro, which was substantial and tasty. I would recommend a visit if you enjoy beer and old architecture. They had a few out door tables, and a open to the outside counter that could set 4 or 5 people, and it was always occupied.

We popped in for a few while visiting town. We had the SWEETEST bartender who really made our experience amazing. She was very efficient and carried on a great conversation. The beer selection was diverse, and they had my favorite vodka! I highly recommend coming here!

Came here for an early dinner with the wife and dog. Boy did they love our dog!!! The food was excellent, we both had burgers. Great outdoor dining area! For dog lovers, I really recommend, but during the summer.

Good food done well. Cool building to we sat at a bar area where you could see inside and out. The waitress was very helpful and friendly. We ordered the pretzel and gouda cheese for an appetizer. The pretzel was fabulous, the cheese, not so much. On the waitresses' recommendation, I ordered the chicken sandwich, and it did not disappoint!!! It had a jalapeno honey on a nice bread bun, and it was one of the best I've had anywhere. My daughter opted for the Detroit smash burger and tater tots she loved it. My wife ordered the Chicago smash burger with truffle fries and liked it as well. I would definitely go back for the chicken sandwich alone!

Friendly service, dark wood, limited food menu. Great drink options! We figured this would be a perfect spot for those dark cold winter nights... turns out it was a perfect spot during a bright hot summer day!

Tap 30 has a great location in Petoskey and they are very lucky to be where they are! The whole experience was just fine, nothing extraordinary but it got the job done of what we were looking for. We were seated right away for a Sunday night dinner which was a plus but we were sat between 2 groups that had loud kids that were standing on the seats, sleeping on the benches, walking/running around our table. Kind of unpleasant but nothing the restaurant can do about it honestly. They have Pepsi products so I had a Pepsi and ordered the smash burger with fries. Like I said it was just fine! I could probably get the same food many other places. I do like that they have a lot of beer options on tap (which is of course their whole spiel for the restaurant)

Tap 30 was an excellent find on our recent trip to Boyne Mountain. We were in the mood for someplace we hadn't been before and after checking out the menu decided to give Tap 30 a try. What a great choice! We did have four teenage boys with us, so it was a little pricey, but the quality of food was fantastic and there was something for everyone to enjoy. The atmosphere was comfortable and I loved the big open garage door - we sat fairly near it so could enjoy the fresh air and people-watching. The beer selection was terrific, and our server let us try a few to see what we liked the best. Both my husband and I found a beer we loved and hadn't had before which is always fun. We split the loaded totchos which were amazing and so filling - definitely more than enough for one person. Our son had the Roasted Lamb Rice Bowl which was right up his alley, a few of the other boys had smashburgers and wings. All the food was delicious and well-enjoyed! I'll definitely return next time we are in the area - especially on a nice day to sit in the window or on the patio!

Started our dinner with a draft and a seltzer (yes, on tap!) We had the smash burger and fries and it was tasty! Definitely hit the spot. Lots to chose from, wings, salads, tater tots... definitely with a shot if you are headed through town and looking to eat and drink!

We've been here twice now. We stopped there in April while we were on a weekend getaway and again on a Tuesday during a golf trip. The service was prompt and friendly. We sat outside on the sidewalk patio. It was a nice setting. The tap menu is extensive. Everyone was happy with their sandwiches. Everything was reasonably priced. We'll definitely stop again when we're in the area.

Decent beer, service was alright. Menu was average , even more disappointing when food came out . My boyfriend said his burger was like McDonalds frozen patty. My Chicken Caesar Wrap was awful no sundered tomatoes and maybe 3 small pieces of chicken in it . Truffles fries maybe 3 stars had better.

Nice variety of beers on tap, a little something for everyone. I dabbled in a smash burger which was delicious and the sweet potato fries which were amazing. I'm not sure how they created such delicate, thin fries w/ such great flavor. The service was good and the ambiance was welcoming and clean. I'd definitely make a stop back again.

I can't say enough about this little bar. Excellent beer selection, attentive service! We had the wings 8.5/10 and the chicken sandwich. The chicken sandwich tasted just like chicken and waffles it's on the sweeter side with the honey if you like that, which I do! Fries were awesome and so were the totchos, highly recommend!! And did I mention the awesome staff???

Great food- burgers are soooo good! The sweet potato fries remind me of dessert at Thanksgiving. Totchos are tater tots with cheese, jalapenos, etc like nachos! Beers and ciders are all listed on screens on the wall showing how much is left of each one, etc- super cool. Friendly staff. Open for lunch and dinner. Open on Sundays which is helpful since so many places are closed on Sundays in the winter. Have been here twice and will definitely go back soon.

I was pleasantly surprised by Tap30! The food had great flavor and portion sizes - I thought the appetizers we had were fantastic and I enjoyed my lamb rice bowl! The only thing was that service was a touch slow - it didn't look like they were too busy but our waiter rarely came by (we had been done with our apps for awhile before she came to take our main order). Still, I thought it was a win and really good!

If you're looking for a solid place to go for some upscale craft beers and food, this place is a great bet. When we went, it was snowing HARD. Driving there wasn't an easy feat, but the place was still packed which I think goes a long way to show how popular this place is with tourists and locals alike. They've got 30 different beers on tap (hence the name) and a good menu. Honestly, the menu isn't very big but what they do have they do well. We enjoyed everything we ate, though it felt like it was a bit on the heavier side. But again, we went to an upscale craft bar so it's not like we were coming here for something healthy. All the beers they have are shown on a few TVs. Depending on where you're sitting in the restaurant, it can be a bit hard to see. They have QR codes on the tables so you can pull up the menu which is an OK experience. Overall, this was a great place to go to, and I could see us returning the next time that we're in the area. If I could fix anything at all? I would want dessert on the menu. They didn't have anything at all. You could have had more of my money, but alas.

We got the short rib lettuce wraps, impossible burger, fried chicken sandwich, and triple berry cider. Finally, a place where cider is the same price as beer! It was alright, I wouldn't order it again though. My sister said out of the three impossible/beyond burgers she had on the trip, this was the best. They also had really good tater tots. The short rib lettuce wraps were decent, some pieces of the meat were chewier than I would have liked, and there wasn't enough of the cucumber/raddish slaw for the whole dish.

Service was super slow and at one point we thought they forgot about us. Food was just ok.

They have an amazing beer selection, lots of variety. Always receive great service. Fun ambiance. The food is not very good. Tried many different things off the menu.

I like the ambience, the bar food and the service not to mention usually a fun crowd.

Wow, two o clock on a Thursday afternoon and the service was horrible. Server had no personality, took forever for the food the come and it was bland and tateless. Also, the server never bothered to check in to see if the food was ok or if I wanted another beer. Would never come back!

The blueberry lemonade shandy was light, refreshing, and gave me a nice buzz. I was very happy to see a vegan option, and ordered the impossible burger with sweet potato fries. Delicious! I got the optional cinnamon and sugar sprinkled over my sweet potato fries. They were thin, crispy, not too sweet - yum! The burger had a good flavor, vegan cheese (yay!) and was delicious. My dining partner had a real beef burger, she loved it and couldn't finish - it was big! (Detroit smash burger). Service was friendly and fast! Food was fresh and hot. The tater tots - I don't know how you can improve them, but Tap30 ground a way.

Wow... Decided to try somewhere new on a weekend visit and this place blew me away. The bartender ( Matt I think) and staff were excellent. Now on to what I keep having food dreams over and that's those WINGS! I don't know if I've ever had as big of wings and the buffalo was absolutely perfect. It wasn't that overly tangy or vinegary stuff either. It was the perfect balance of flavors. I can not wait to get back to Petoskey and get more

Came here for lunch, we were seated right away. Service is okay, a little slow, but friendly server. I ordered the burger with the mushrooms and some black Mayo. The flavor was good, but the ratio of the meat to the bun was way off! I'm not even huge on meat patties but this felt like I was eating bread with a little bit of meat in the middle. That party needed to be doubled up for sure! So it was super dry, so I asked for a tiny side of the sauce to help me out, she brought the sauce when I literally had 2 bites left, AND thought it was a good idea to also charge me for it $2 no less! And it was one of those 1oz tiny plastic containers. I'm sorry but no. If you're going to charge me for something at least bring it out when I can actually eat it! The brisket sandwich was amazing so I'll give them that. If I ever come back thats what I'm getting.

Absolutely delicious food and good service! I had the roasted Brussel sprouts and cauliflower. Normally I don't eat vegetarian but I could eat that dish every day! Delicious dipping sauce too. My husband got the fries. Fabulous. Too bad we live hours away--

A huge caution to anyone wanting to eat/drink at Tap 30 in Petoskey they do not tell you about that there's extra charges for your meal until your handed the check and there is a "Sustainability up charge". the response was that instead of raising prices this is what they do. WHAT!! I prefer to know what I'm paying up front. I did not pay the up charge nor will I ever go back. Cold overpriced Mac n cheese dinners.

Stopped here for a late dinner and enjoyed the experience. The contemporary ambiance is spot on and Diners were socially distanced and staffers had masks on. Friendly staff and on the ball timing for refills and food made for a nice night out. We were asked to look up the menu online and ordered. The cool thing about the sandwich lineup was the side options-- tots, reg or sweet potato fries. I had the Chicken Sammy and was pleasantly surprised to see not one but two schnitzel fried chicken patties on that thing. Mine was the chipotle bbq version and it was excellent with a nice slaw and perfectly toasted brioche bun. A nice add to downtown Petoskey and worth the drive if you're in the area.

Stopped in after a uneventful reception ,had a couple beers and a snack on the street sitting and was a great end to a night out ! Thank you Mitch for your outstanding service!

We ordered carryout for our first night in Petoskey. Food was ready in approximately 20 minutes. My son and I both had the bacon smash burger and were very happy with our choice. The burger was fresh and delicious and the bacon gives it a unique almost smoked taste. My fries were nice and crispy with a good taste. My husband said his fried chicken sandwich was probably one of the best chicken sandwiches he's had. The totchos were good but a lot of the cheesy sauce wound up on the bottom. Friendly phone staff too! I would recommend giving them a try.

Excellent spot for high-quality Craft Beer dining spot in downtown Petoskey. They have extraordinary high ceilings and open air front (when the weather is nice) which gives a not crowded feeling even when they are busy. The menu has traditional items with a twist such as their Delicious Tatcho's! Check out the pictures and make sure you visit when in Petoskey/ Walloon Lake area and you are wanting a large selection of Northern Michigan Craft Beer and More!

Food and Beer were amazing. Staff was so nice. Being from out of town... This is a great spot to enjoy downtown. Sit at the outdoor patio. Kid friendly. Kid food options approved. Loved it

Hubby & I stopped in to try this restaurant while on vacation. It was very busy! Staff was working very fervently & no one was just standing around! Atmosphere inside was really nice! Several tv's across the restaurant & plenty of room! They also provide outdoor seating, but there was a wait for that, so we opted to be seated right away inside. Our waitress had several tables, but never made you feel slighted! She was prompt, friendly, assertive and attentive to the table! Menu is very simple, and brew menu is packed! I was hoping they had brews they made in house, but I was told they serve many of the local beers, wines and ciders instead. There were several choices for sure, just none that really suited my fancy. I decided on a glass bottle Coca Cola (aka. Mexican Coke) Mmm! We then split 12 Chipotle BBQ wings, an order of fries and a Caesar salad. We waited no more than 10 minutes for our food! This place is super fast!!! Wings were really delicious, but pretty spicy! I'm one that can handle some spiciness, but these were SPICY! Fries on other hand were nothing short of AMAZING!!! Both of these items were very fairly priced! And then came the Caesar salad...it tasted very good, but cost $16. It was a good portion, don't get me wrong, but not $16 worth. But hey, on vacation, $ is $, right?! I'd definitely recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a simple menu (Burgers, Wings, Brews, Salads), Fast and Friendly service, and delicious food! We'll definitely be back if we're ever in town again!

Smaller limited menu than we expected. Also no ac and uncomfortably warm in there for a summer meal out. Not many people were eating in doors but our waitress seemed to get lost for extended periods of time.

The food here was fantastic. We ordered the Spicy Buffalo Mac n Cheese, and some wings with fries. All of the food was delicious - the Mac n Cheese was incredibly spicy, which was perfect for me. The beer - they have a huge selection of craft beer - many of which I have never seen elsewhere which makes it a really cool place to check out. I was impressed with the selection that I saw, and we enjoyed all of the beers that we drank. The service was pretty good. It was crazy busy in there that night (it was a Friday evening) and tables were flipping pretty quickly, but our server didn't miss a beat. Great place, I would definitely go back. Glad to find this place.

Visiting today and received poor service - charged extra for salad dressing and extra fees + tip? Waited 15 min before someone came over to get drinks -

Decent drinks, but the service was very, very slow. First round of drinks was slow and incomplete. We ordered two appetizers and were told 45 minutes later we were behind a party of 15. 20 minutes later we're told our food is behind another large order, and told it went to the wrong table and it would be only a couple more minutes. Now we're at 2+ hours and no food. Needless to say we canceled our food order, paid for our drinks and left. No plans to stop by again anytime soon.

Our waitress was super friendly and attentive. Had the tachos (tater nachos) and burgers. Super helpful with gluten free. Buns and gf tater tots.

Nice! For one, they were open. LOL. Secondly, they have a huge selection of beers. Thirdly, the food was excellent. Better than you would think a bar would offer. I had the curried cauliflower and Brussels sprouts, amazing. I also had the roasted squash salad. Equally amazing. Great service and room to maneuver a stroller through.

Five stars for that olive burger alone. Daily special. Beer selection ok and no complaints about the service. But that olive burger. Yes.

Great little place to enjoy a beer in Petoskey. They have an electronic board showing on the drafts on tap that night as well as how much is left in the keg. I went with a flight and was able to try 4 delicious 5oz pours. My favorite was a kombucha IPA. I wish there would have been more food options but the brussel sprout combo was delicious!

Make sure you dress nice. Dont go here if you look like you may be poor. You will be ignored by servers. People seated after us (right next to us) were served while we were not even acknowledged. We got up and walked out to a manager saying "have a nice day"

Good burger, girls ordered Mac & cheese but wasn't aware it was with blue cheese. Instead of taking it back they said we had to order a new one. So we paid double for one entree. Not the best idea, as we probably won't go back there again.

It was my first time up in downtown Pestosky and I loved the area. There were so many different places to eat and grab a beer and my friend recommended this one. Just walking into the place I loved the ambiance. They had a beautiful outside seating deck, big windows and on the inside I loved the wood decor they had. The inside gave it a nice warm and homey feel. My friend and I went on a Sunday afternoon and it was not busy at all. It was a beautiful day and we knew we wanted to sit on the new outdoor deck. One thing that was consistent throughout the whole experience was how excellent and quick the service was. The servers are very attentive and are extremely friendly and make small talk with all their diners. The menu is quite simple but have solid options. I decided to go with the Bacon Smash burger with two patties and tots on the side. The burger was delicious, I could taste the premium ingredients and was by far an above average burger. The tots were nice and crispy which were a nice addition on the side. I will say that things are more on the expensive side at this place but I say its well worth it for the high quality taste and service you get. Overall, a really good experience and place I would love to go back to next time I am in the area.

Second stop on our pub crawl- cool place, interesting decor and atmosphere. We were here around 2ish on a Saturday afternoon. There was barely anyone in the place, we got a table right away. They had a very extensive beer selection. I took a chance on venturing outside my normal IPA-only tastes and ordered the Grapefruit Ginger Sake... Very strange, fizzy, odd tasting. I was not a fan, but our server let me switch it for something else. Very cool. We didn't eat here, but I recommend for beers!

Sitting at the the front of the restaurant gave us the indoor ambiance with a view of downtown Pestosky and fresh air. Lexi was our server and she was kind and attentive. The drinks were great, but the brussel sprouts and cauliflower dish was incredible. The flavor combination is unique and the pita provides a perfect crunch. The tomato sauce has a nice zing, while the feta and lemon sauce is unique. The dish can be a meal, but is sharable as a starter.

Food was good, had the Tap 30 burger and Mac N cheese. Portion size was perfect for me and the wife. Beer choices were great and they offered a variety of cocktails.
