The 12 Best Croissants In Paris

"Set an alarm to get a stubby Tapisserie croissant—they sell out fast. If you’re one of the lucky few, grab a stool out front, and revel in the perfection of its shiny shell before taking a bite. Balance is the name of the game at this 11th arrondissement bakery (with several other locations around the city, with a croissant that walks the line between rich and sweet, lightness and crunch: a total crowd-pleaser. If you oversleep, console yourself with a brioche feuilleté stuffed with cocoa-scented praline cream or a palmier with a layer of crisp caramel coating the nut-brown puff pastry. Think of it as brown butter in viennoiserie form." - emily monaco

The Best Bakeries in Paris, According to a Local | Condé Nast Traveler

"This is the first location of two (the second is located in the 7th arrondissement and has more seating) opened by the chef-owners of the impossible-to-book, one-Michelin tasting restaurant Septime, Bertrand Grébaut and Théo Pourriat (as well as Clamato, next door, and Septime Cave, around the corner, neither of which accepts bookings). Once both men started families and had kids, sweets took on an outsized role in their daily lives. They also were fielding constant requests from Clamato clients to sell the seafood wine bar's signature dessert, a maple-syrup tart topped with fresh whipped cream. The small but mighty shop is a must-visit for that tart and plenty of other well-done French classics with a twist. Stock your pantry with their selection of fruits confits, wines, juices, and spreads—and don't miss trying the sweet-and-slightly-herbaceous vanilla grass cream puff." - Lindsey Tramuta

The 14 Best Patisseries in Paris for Croissants, Cakes, and Eclairs - Eater

"Run by the same people behind everyone’s favorite Parisian restaurants — Septime and Clamato — Tapisserie in the 11th is worth the visit for the maple tart alone. (The same dessert appears on the menu at Clamato, but here you can give it full attention.) The substantial pate sucree base comes filled with a rich, smooth maple filling. If that doesn’t leave you full, the choux and viennoiserie are all just as delicious." - Dayna Evans, Lindsey Tramuta

Best sausage roll I’ve ever had, and I lived in the UK for 15 years. Not a bad item in this bakery and I cannot wait to go back. The staff was also very lovely 👍🏼 a must-visit if you’re in the area.

Simply delicious. You will find in this cute little boutique, great creative tasty pastries changing regularly. The staff is nice. Limited seating available in summer to enjoy a coffee with your pastry.

The flan a la vanille & choux a la flouve were perfectly suited to my taste! The flan was creamy with a hint of sweetness and vanilla aroma. The choux cream was similar and not to sweet while the choux had a cinnamon (I think?) flavor. I’m already dying to go back and will be sad when I leave Paris.

Unexpectadly good. I've tried some pastry (somethings more than once) and loved it! The choux is divine. Went only twice to this patisserie and would comeback for more if could.

The strawberry tart was so refreshing and delicious. Choux (no photo) was great, too. The staff member at the counter was friendly and patient with my lack of French. Merci!

Recommended by our Airbnb host! 😌 We ordered the ham and cheese croissant (not pictured) and the choux. Both were tasty! Croissant was slightly denser than expected which was interesting. It’s not toasted nor hot so more of a cold sandwich. Service was quick and prompt by friendly staff who accommodated us non-French speakers. Cute and cozy café interior but mostly designed for those taking away.
