Fantastic street tacos! The inviting meat on top of warm corn tortillas tasted as great as it looked. The tacos came with a side of delectable spicy potatoes and plenty of chopped onions and cilantro—all fresh and mouthwatering. The horchata was also great. To go with the great food and drinks, the interior of the restaurant is modern and festive. Judging by how busy they were, this taqueria is not a hidden jewel; it is just a great place to eat that we’re sure to visit again and again.

Good Mexican food, not too TexMex. Great service. A definite must try. I live half an hour away, going back soon to try some new dishes. Also, it didn't seem like a dive, clean restrooms, and clean dining area.

We ate at the old location and it was much better, back in the day. But now…. I was not impressed at all today. I really don’t understand what the hype is. It didn’t taste that good, and wasn’t very well put together. I had the Mega burrito and it was mushy and the meat tasted bad. My son had the torta and the meat was burnt and the whole thing tasted gross. The food all around had no flavor and we were really disappointed for the amount of money that we spent. I would rather go to the Pollo Regio down the street. I would recommend you miss this place altogether.

Everything is close to $15 not bad for the portion but the food was bland today. We had the quesadilla de fajita, the meat needed more flavor. Burrito de fajita same thing bland beans and rice didn’t have much flavor. The best thing we tried 10/10 agua de fresa. 7/10 the tacos dorados de barbacoa, kinda tasted like quesabirrias comes with papas enchiladas (spicy). $6.50 for a large agua de piña though..

WOW!! One of the best Taquerias with the best food around DFW!! Carne asada fries, Al Pastor Taco Dorados, the drinks, even the Elotes! Brought my fiancé here for her birthday, and didn’t expect it to be so busy but still a great place with great food!

Perfect comfort food for a cozy night in! Huge portions, cheesy goodness, and the strawberry horchata hit the spot. The only downside is the parking is pretty rough. But honestly, the food is worth it!

Now this place is packed for a reason! Everything is super good! These pictures do not do it JUSTICE and when I tell you the portions are huge! Good luck trying to finish a burrito. I wish I would have gotten a picture of the chille relleno burrito! I added carne asada and shrimp(chefs kiss) it was amazing and packed! I don't know if you can tell from the photo but under all the toppings for the carne asada fries, there's fries under there. Freaking amazing! Probably best fries I've ever had. FINALLY! a place that actually doesn't skimp out on the toppings! Now that shrimp & octopus cocktail!! So refreshing! It full of shrimp, octopus and cucumber! Never had a cocktail like that but it works and tastes so good! You got check this place out!

This place was PACKED which was expected given they had their free margarita deal for Taco Tuesday, but the place is not constructed to have that much business. Upon arrival, we waited in a line that took about 15 minutes to get through which was very manageable; however, the line was regularly reshaping as there was not enough space for the line and pass through for the food delivery robot. The staff was friendly and helpful with recommendations! We ended up ordering the asada fries, tacos dorado, 1 Al pastor taco, 1 barbacoa taco, 2 mango margaritas, and 1 jugo de pepita. Post ordering, we had to share a table with another group which was fine; however, the food delivery robot only comes to one side of the table so you end up having to pass or have your food passed to you by strangers you are sitting with. I do like the robot for speed and efficiency; however, they need to change the dining area to improve the process. The food looked and smelled amazing, and let me tell you, the asada fries stole the show! The meat was good quality, fries were crispy fresh, and toppings were plentiful without being overpowering. Unfortunately, everything else was not as spectacular. The tacos dorados looked and smelled like birria tacos but were fairly bland and better represented as a greasy grilled cheesy taco. A little less grease and a side of consomé would go a long way for these. Between the 2 regular tacos, the barbacoa one had inconsistent texture and was fatty/rubbery, and the al pastor one was good quality meat but had a strange marinade/spice flavor combination. Lastly, all the drinks we ordered were very syrupy especially the jugo de Pepito. It is best described as drinking straight fruit puree and needed water or another liquid added. All in all, I would come back for the asada fries, but would not go out of my way.

Food. Wow. Best taqueria. Real Mexican. Packed like a mother.....! But it's fast paced. You won't wait for a chair. Loud music And the drinks is all you ever wanted. I will be coming back! Sorry no pics. But it was delicious. The whole menu, yup you'll want to order.

Real deal! The burritos here are sooooo big. I like that they let you customize what you order. The staff is so fun and friendly. The prices are super reasonable especially considering the portions. Very addictive!

Pulled up into a small parking lot to finally try this spot today after work. The inside of the restaurant was super clean and tidy. I ordered the loaded burrito and the carne asada fries to go. Holy F they were both loaded and heavy as crap! I wasn't expecting that but got my money's worth for sure. The loaded burrito I got with fajita meat and FYI it is spicyyy. On a scale of 1-5 with 5 being spicy as hell I wanna say it was likeeee a 4 lol and I love my spicy food but for folks who don't know just keep that in mind. Loaded with guacamole, grilled onions, stuffed with so much cheese, meat and I think beans too. Sooo good! The burrito exterior had some crunch it wasn't soggy at all from my 15 min drive home. I shared cus it felt like it was the size of my forearm. The carne asada fries was everything I've been searching for since leaving Cali and Arizona.. crispy fries topped with cheese (I got on the side) tomato, jalapeño, onion and beef. Deliciousss. They gave me a side of sour cream with their pre sealed sauce bags which tasted really good too, hopefully they sell them in bottles cus I'll buy some! Definitely coming back and trying more!

Overall good food & service, and they have a robot server that brings the food to your table! Family enjoyed their drinks too,

This spot is an example of "influencer" food gone wrong. They have great social media but the food & prices are terrible. There are so many great Taqueria's in DFW, for half the price of Taqueria Los Angeles. The mango margarita was disgusting. And the tacos were so bland & wayyy too expensive. And the elote was probably the worst I've ever had. Wouldn't go back.

Great food! Service is fast and friendly. Robot brings the food out. Menu is on the tv display. The place gets packed pretty quickly. I like the decor. Salsa is self serve in the fridge.

Food is always delicious I will say never have had any issues. Tacos dorados super delicious! Service was just terrible it was not busy for one several empty tables but the ladies in the front seemed to not be having a great day. Which seemed like if they worked together it would have made things easier but that wasn't the case. When asking for explanations of what we were wanting to try seemed to bother them and when we wanted to order we were just told no there wasn't any alcohol although it's all over there menu. Guess I'll stick to ordering to go

Love the food but somebody really needs to update your site to give people an estimate on what time to pick up the order when ordering online. There's literally nothing that tells you 10-15 mins for pick up so you have to guess and hope your food ain't cold when you show up. The website is utter trash, you cant make changes to your order?!?! It's 2024, spend the extra 2 cents to have that option added. **UPDATE: got my order of breakfast tacos that specifically say they come with chorizo egg and cheese and we got just egg burritos the breakfast burritos also had no chorizo and I called the store and they said you have to pick the meat but the website doesn't give you the option.** this is why you don't go cheap on your website, you end up having to remake orders which waste money and time while frustrating your staff and most importantly your customer base.

CA native approved! Hoping they had carne asada but they had fajita, small 3 bite corn street taco the meat was juicy slightly greasy but flavorful 4.0 stars Had some random potatoes hoped they added more Salsa for to- go order, red was spicy and green was jalapeño salsa They had Large Mexican coke bottles! Elite- They did not skimp on cheese and it was tasty! They have large tables for 2 people you may end up sitting with someone or they sitting next to you!

solid taco joint. I got two tacos and it was DEFINITELY enough for me as a meal. I got the al pastor and barbacoa on flour BUT my friends got the corn and it actually looked fire compared to my flour so if I came back I would get corn. It came with some SPICY potatoes as well. Meat was well seasoned (also kinda spicy) and I liked how finely chopped everything was. I tried their elote and it was pretty good as well; just really sweet corn. This little robot guy delivers your food which I like and it's kinda funny to watch it interact with guest. Music is a tad bit loud but everything is fairly clean.

The food was amazing! The service was great and it has cute, fun vibes! We've been before and love the new location and plan to come back again!

After many recommendations, I have finally tried TLA. I was not disappointed!! Your food is delivered by a robot that has cutlery and napkins, pretty cool idea. Dinning room was ver unique with the table settings, my party of 5 sat very comfortably. Strawberry agua Fresca was amazing!! 2 heat levels of taco sauce, very good There are papas on each plate, the potatoes are so delicious!! I almost got one to go just to cook with an egg in the morning

You want real tacos then try this amazing place out. Don't get caught up with their robot that delivers food to the table. Try all of their damn tacos. Hell try their burritos. Both are fantastic and will satisfy any craving.

Margaritas are amazing!! I love this place for chilling with friends!!! I recommend 100% Food size are enough i hace to ask for to go boxes all the time!! Customer service are great!

I do not recall if I ever checked in to Taqueria LA, but it is a must. They did move location, it around the corner in the old Asian restraint that is there. So service is always good when I come in, friendly staff takes your order at the counter. The last time I went they didn't have the robot, pretty cool the robot delivers your food and it also has trays with the essentials (napkins, forks, etc.). I ordered the tacos dorados which is an every day item now. They were only available on certain days last time so that's good. They did not disappoint, then spicy potatoes though. The simplicity but yet they are very spicy and good. Honestly love this place has not disappointed me, I washed it all down with a Mexican coke.

Wow did this Mexican food joint suprise me. I came here with some friends and I was blown away by the how good the food was and how huge the portion sizes are. When I walked in I was taken aback by the $14 quesadilla but I understand why now. The thing is MASSIVE and can easily feed 2 people (assuming they're not huge eaters). The tacos were my order and I'm glad I went with the al pastor. I might be a wimp but it was a bit on the spicy side but I still loved it. The restaurant is cute and they use those cool robot things to serve your food. Food came out fast and there's nothing to complain about there. I will definitely be back with friends and I would recommend anyone try out this restaurant!

The last good Mexican food I had was in May 2023 when I went to Los Angeles for vacation. I hadn't been there since I was a kid sometime between 1997-2000. The Mexican food restaurants in Dallas are terrible in general. It's difficult to find good Mexican food. The best Mexican food I had was Aliberto's Mexican Restaurant in Arizona near Route 66. I tried Taqueria La Ventana on the day of the total solar eclipse. The food at Taqueria La Ventana was not good Mexican food. That place is highly overrated. I have a video review of that as well. I've also tried amazing food in the San Francisco Bay Area in Summer 2019 when I did my internship at Pixar. I'm saying all of this to give a little bit of background. After doing research, I thought I would give Taqueria Los Angeles a taste test to see if it truly does tastes similar to Mexican food I've eaten in Los Angeles. As soon as I stepped outside of my car, I could smell how delicious the food is. It's a pretty busy and packed place. Of course it was Friday night as well. I usually don't go inside or stay inside of packed restaurants. Especially after the pand*mic. started. I only recently started going to some places again. I ordered a bean and cheese burrito with no rice inside, because that's how I like my burritos. They give you the option to add meat or any other food inside of it. It's a pretty large burrito. I think they have larger sizes though. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and a side order of rice as well. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was a robot delivering the food to tables. That was new. I actually recorded all of that on video as well. In conclusion, I recommend trying this restaurant and see what you think. It's definitely better than the other Mexican food restaurants in Dallas area. I give it a 7 to 8.5 out of 10 in terms of Dallas area food. I was surprised at how delicious the food tasted. It's high on my list of good food here. I think it's the best Mexican food I've eaten in Dallas. I've been living in North Dallas since 2006/2007. Absolutely an over hype. Maybe I just tried the worst options so If I ever do come back i'll probably get tacos and gordita or burrito. Anyways the cashier recommended we try this "quesadilla" they make on a big corn masa and get the pastor for our choice of meat. An absolute disappointment and lack of flavor. The carne asada fries were even worse. The fry choice seems like the frozen bags from the store, they melted cheese and then top it? Weird and 100% not like Cali. It's hard to come across any authentic good Mexican when you live in Cali your whole life.... Los Angeles has amazing mexican food so I had really high hopes for this place. Horchata was decent. Salsas were decent. Everything lacked true flavor.

This is hands down my favorite Mexican spot in DFW! We've lived in North Dallas for two years now and haven't found many spots that accommodate my partner's pescatarian diet. We get the Loaded Burrito with shrimp and it's BOMB. The shrimp are Texas-sized and marinated to perfection. The first time we came, I had the al pastor quesadilla, but nothing compares to how good the shrimp is. Everything on the menu is huge and can be shared between two people. She usually eats half a burrito and takes the rest home, easily reheatable in an air fryer for the next day. As for me, I like to eat my food fresh. Make sure whatever you get is accompanied with the green salsa.

I can't say enough good things about this place. I find any excuse to bring someone new here and see them have the same reaction I did the first time I went. My usual is the shrimp tostadas and pastor tacos. The quesadillas are twice the size of anywhere else and loaded with carne. The horchata and mango drink are delicious. Don't forget to grab some churros as well! I'm from CA and this place reminds me of the quality of Mexican food we have back home.

Loved the atmosphere, customer service was great & the food was big enough that was worth the price. Friend loved his food- he had the tacos dorados and beef quesadilla. He still ate it even tho it was supposed to be no cebolla asada. And really enjoyed it all. I however did not, the quesadilla I ordered for me barely had any chicken in it. It had more cheese than anything. His was fully loaded with beef. Will probably return for only margaritas and the desserts with friends.

This is a little gem in Plano on 15th St. You order at the counter, indicate your table of choice and the helpful robot delivers your food. We had cucumber-line and watermelon aguas frescas. The kids quesadilla had a lot of meat in it and was delicious. I ordered the tacos dorados which was the whole reason we came here and they were delicious. I think we'll come here regularly when we're in the area!

If i could rate it a 0 stars i would , waited 30 minutes for a burrito , and it had absolutely no flavor , was also recommended the tacos dorados , the tacos were better than the burrito but could use more seasoning and flavor, first time here definitely not satisfied.

I love this place! The robot servers are so cute and really cool to see in person. The menu is expansive and I have yet to find something that I don't like! My personal favorite is any of the quesadillas! They are huge and so crispy and yummy!

I feel like i say this every time i try a new taco spot but dang this is my new favorite place for tacos! LOL Even my mother is obsessed and that really says something. I had been drooling over their instagram for as long as i can remember and it certainly lived up to its hype! It's a small shop in an unassuming strip mall with fun art sprawled across the walls and even a little robot to bring your food to the table. The food here definitely hits the spot every time. The agua frescas, the margaritas, the horchata are all amazing. They occasionally make a Hennessy horchata and a strawberry horchata. The food, obviously phenomenal by all the other 5 star reviews you see from other yelpers. You can't go wrong with any item here but my favorites are the shrimp tostadas and any taco of your choice. Everything is fresh and delicious!

The best taqueria I've ever been to! My parents and I go every Thursday before church. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu from the quesadillas to the tacos everything is GREAT! I love the spicy potatoes they add a good flavor to the burritos and tacos! The meat is always flavorful and doesn't miss! Service is always fast and food comes out quick if it's not too packed! I suggest ordering in advance if it's during rush hour!

Food is consistently great. Our favorites are the quesadilla with handmade giant corn tortilla, chili relleno burrito, and torta cubana. My only feedback is that all the food comes out hot except the fries. Consistently completely cold. Last visit on Wednesday night we asked for fresh fries after we were served cold ones. They took those back, refried them, and served it to us again. So they were full of grease and basically inedible(also had a faint churro taste, like they are cooked in the same fryer as the churros, lol) Fresh hot food should come with fresh hot fries. We stopped by today for lunch as were in the area. We ordered taco plate( chicken, chorizo. & barbacoa) it comes with side of rice, beans and spicy potato. Chile relleno burrito and chicken tacos plate, aqua fresca and churros Taco and burritos were very delicious. Sides were good as well. Aqua fresca was meh! Churros steals the show. Do Not finish your meal without churro! They have a robot serving food to table.

I have been wanting to try this place. And I got by there this morning right after open. Got the tacos dorados (barbacoa). YUM!!!! These tacos were very tasty. I forgot to even put any salsa on them. I dug in. The potatoes....spicy af and I loved it! I'll be back for sure.

I think at one point this place used to be pretty ok but after dining here tonight, I probably won't ever be returning to Taqueria Los Angeles when there are other solid taco places in East Plano that are cheaper and taste way better. I went here with a group of friends several months ago and the food was decent. Tonight we went around 8:45pm and waited almost half an hour for our food after placing our order. All the green salsa bottles were also empty... nobody was refilling them unfortunately. Their quesadilla is huge and they don't skimp on the meat. I got the barbacoa quesadilla and it was LOADED with barbacoa, however the cheese wasn't even melted and you could see the shredded cheese pieces still separated and shredded rather than melted together and gooey. The barbacoa was also super salty...I couldn't stand it. My boyfriend got 7 tacos: barbacoa, Al pastor, chicharron, and chorizo...he wasn't impressed and he's a huge fan of authentic street tacos. The meats just weren't seasoned well and were all overly salty. He did enjoy the strawberry agua fresca and churro though.

Cool spot, we came for the burritos but I'd definitely like to come back and try other items, this place is just a little far out for us. Service was good, the cashier helps people get seats as they have limited seating for a popular location. Food is served via robot. Our burritos were huge, the chili relleno with shrimp was ginormous - it came out steaming hot. The red salsa was spicy, green was good. I had their Paloma which was tasty. Recommend to a friend.

I got tacos dorados with the strawberry drink. The barbocoa was really good. I didn't like that there was so much cheese in the taco. The taco was also very limp and slimy. It was a lot of food though.

As an LA native, this is definitely the closest I've gotten to California style Mexican food . As great as Tex-Mex is, it's far from satisfying the craving for the Mexican flavors I grew up with in Los Angeles. We came in on a Wednesday right before noon and it got busy shortly after. I got a shrimp quesadilla on a corn tortilla and guacamole on the side. My fiance got a chicken quesadilla and carne asada fries. You're served your food by a robot which is a cool idea and I like that they play authentic Mexican music and the aesthetic they have going on . I do think it's a bit hyped up for what it is + price , but considering it's hard to find Mexican food like this in DFW, it's worth a try . But not something I would frequent .

This is by far my favorite spot to eat! The chicken flautas have always been my go to! They have the most friendly staff and cute seating options! Super cool robot server too!! If I could give more stars I would!

Great find! So far, I've really enjoyed every dish I've tried here. They have a robot waitress that delivers your food, which is pretty cool. Some items come in large portions.

An absolute over hyped place. We ordered a quesadilla de tripa on flour tortilla , a quesadilla de fajita on corn tortilla and a kid taco plate. We received our kids food instantly but waited over 30 minutes for me and my husbands plate. We watched every other table that arrived AFTER us receive and finish their food and we still hadn't gotten ours. When we finally received our plates we noticed it wasn't even the correct order, they gave us each the wrong choice of tortilla for our quesadilla. The quesadillas were BLAND, Definitely missing flavor.

I finally made it over to this side of town to try this place out for dinner. Everything was delicious and had good seasoning for a decent flavor. Took it all to go so probably would have been even better if had been eating there. Definitely look forward to trying some of the other menu items.

Found this spot on TikTok! I love food & I must say this place was fire! Food came out fast & employees made me feel welcomed!! Explained menu well & gave me the greatest suggestions! Food a bit spicy but the nice natural herbal juices balances it out well! 10/10!!! I might be back tomorrow lol !!!!

Being from Los Angeles, I've definitely missed the Mexican food and this hit the spot. Although it wasn't exactly like home, the food definitely satisfied the craving. I got the barbacoa loaded burrito and it was not only huge, but also very delicious. It was a bit oily, but the flavor was good and the guacamole had a lot of chunks of avocado. It would have been nice if the cheese was a bit more melted, but overall, great place for burritos and I will come back when I have a craving.

Came here because of Zach and Tee's video of the ginormous burrito. I had the Mega Burrito with carne asada. The meat was a bit dry and could have more seasoning. But I still enjoy the burrito. Their hot sauce is really good and spicy.

Arrived when restaurant was packed at dinner time. Ordered at the counter from a very helpful employee. Hibiscus and watermelon fresca were so good. The margarita with chamoy was perfect with the shrimp tostada. Both tasted like summer at the beach. The Al Pastor megaburrito was enough food for four people. Jamon torta was grilled perfection oozing with the melty cheese, avocado, and jalapeños. Churros were hot and filled with caramel goodness. The restaurant was packed, so a little loud but not overwhelmingly so.

Food was great! Quick service via robot (lol wish I got a video). There are a good amount of tables with bar stools to sit at. Not too loud, and plenty of menu choices! Will definitely be back:)

Excellent food, great portions, friendly staff, authentic music. Get the mega burrito if you like lots of food - mine was the fajita mega and it was fantastico! Not to mention the friendly robot that delivers to your table. Great overall visit and value.

Food is usually good service is fair. The AI server is worth checking out Atmosphere is chill, little short on tables. Very limited on alcoholic beverages
