"Italian restaurant Tarallucci e Vino has since expanded across the city, but it started in the East Village in 2001. Expect brunch standards with Italian twists, like poached eggs with polenta or French toast with mascarpone. Spaghetti and cacio e pepe are also available, and all the pastries are made in-house, like a whole wheat croissant and a bomboloni." - Carla Vianna, Serena Dai

BEST BURGER I’ve ever had! I came in for pasta, but the server said that her favorite menu item was the burger. So glad I asked! It was AMAZING. And the house red wine beats anyone’s in the city…dry, complex and scrumptious. Staff is friendly and welcoming yet professional & industrious. It’s no wonder that it’s so difficult to get a table during peak hours. Can’t wait to come back!

This place is tiny. There isn't a lot of space between tables so you'll feel like you're part of their conversation. Regardless, I had a great meal! The vodka pasta was delicious. I was disappointed that they had no more pastries, but but says more about their popularity than anything else. I'll have to come earlier as I heard their Nutella donuts are incredible!

Atmosphere was nice and wait staff were fine. Unfortunately, the food was not good. For $21, I expected much more than one piece of overcooked octopus, which has turned to rubber. Not to mention the fact it was old octopus, given the unappetizing fishy taste of it. I also ordered the cacio e pepe (also overcooked) and was not impressed. Overall, quite disappointed in the meal. Trova un altro posto dove mangiare. Non ne vale la pena.

Amazing spot- I feel like it’s underrated! I love the ambiance of the place. The coffee was amazing (oat milk was perfectly steamed), as was the Nutella donut I had. The service was outstanding!! So happy I live near it, I’ll definitely be coming back

This Italian place has one of the coziest vibe in East Village. All the way from candle lit tables to perfectly placed decorative items on the wall giving an amazing ambiance of romance. The food recommendation was fantastic and the dessert- tiramisu might be the best one I’ve ever had! As an added surprise bonus, the tiramisu is lined with chocolate chips at the bottom which gives a subtle crunch and chocolate kick to the tiramisu, making it superb! Highly recommend this place if you’re in the mood for a cozy night out with great ambiance, delicious food, and lively company all around!

The food was incredible. Authentic Italian cuisine!! I am Truly amazed by the service, the food, The flavor.. I highly recommend this place and their cacio e pepe. I attached photos of the bruschetta (best by far) and veal meatballs.

Delicious food! And this is going to sound weird but I really appreciated the sane portion size- it was just the right amount, and I didn't feel like I had to take leftovers. Highly recommend the easy atmosphere, simple but delicious menu and the well curated wine list.

Pasta was bland and overpriced. Dessert was okay until my friend found mold on the fruit. Not really worth coming to when there's other restaurants to choose from. Only reason they are 3 stars instead of less is because they gave us a decent discount on the entire meal after we showed them the mold. Staff and atmosphere was nice.
