Went to the new location in Arlington. They were not super busy around 1pm. I ordered the Chicken Katsu and it was really good. It was a decent portion for lunch. It came out after maybe 10-12 min. I ordered a water to drink. They do not serve alcohol at this location. Not sure about the others. I also ordered their panacotta and it was really good! They do not accept tips and they have you write what you feel the meal was worth. I will def be going again.

The restaurant is great! The food is fresh and really gourmet. I didn't expect the level of expertise in the food. I love that it also helps the community. It is a pay what you can restaurant so that is a different but interesting concept.

We love Taste. First, we love the mission (see website). We have only had pleasant meal experiences at Taste and have committed to dining once a month at the Fort Worth location. This Arlington location is much closer to home and we are so thrilled the doors are opening to feed this community we live in. If you are able, please consider paying more than you would normally pay for a meal to assist those who can not afford a meal at all. If you are one that can not afford a meal, please visit taste and experience the generosity of others. There are also volunteer opportunities. *my suggestions for visitors* once you visit, you might understand my suggestions. -Order only the amount you can eat, firstly to eliminate waste. But also, there may be a no "to-go box" rule. -Make a reservation 24hrs in advanced. This is not neccessary, but in my experience you could wait an hour for a table without reservation. -Respect any house rules, even if they're unwritten. (I.e. you probably can't order unlimited sides, even though this is a pay-what-you-can restraunt). -Check out the upcoming events on their website. Grab a few friends and split a table. You will not be disappointed in the high level of food quality. -Menu changes often and is seasonal, look ahead but don't commit incase what you see online isn't what is being served (it's all good though). -several diet preference/sensitive options.

Literally a Godsend. Service is incredible, the food is fresh, flavorful, and diverse in origin. I’ve been supporting their Fort Worth location, and as a broke college student, they’ve supported me. We need more places like this. Jim, Julie, Leslie, Mitz, and Julianna are just a few of their incredible workers. Oh and you can tell the bathroom was designed by a woman. No gaps in the stalls, mid-height hooks for your bag, deep sink, and roomy enough if you are disabled or have a little one. *Just remember to reserve a table for the quickest seating time.* Please PLEASE give this place a try. It could change someone’s life.

Have been deciding whether or not to write this but here goes. Approximately a month and a half age on my wife's birthday a group of approximately 14 had actually 2 different reservations there for a large party. The manager of this locations spoke to e concerning our group and was very rude to me. The party was the staff from where my wife works. I thought it was very inappropriate for the manage to be rude. This was the first time for us to eat at this location. Questioning whether This place will be recommended to others. There were those in our party who knew he was rude. Not a good example for this restaurant. Yes, the food was good but his action made the experience not a good one. This is my rant.

This place is amazing, as is the mission and service they provide. I couldn't afford much but I gave literally all I had because it was more than worth it by far, and then some so I also have signed up to volunteer and start this Wednesday. more than worth it though. The people who also are there volunteerlng are very nice and pleasant and overal

We made a reservation for three at 1230 on Sunday. Wow, we were impressed! The place is beautiful inside. Our waitress Nancy was friendly and so attentive! Every dish we tried was fresh and delicious. So was the homemade lemonade!

Yelp
So excited for Arlington to have its own Taste Project. This will mean so much to the community! I was there when the restaurant was a shell of a building and saw the renderings of the building to come. The ribbon cutting was an emotional celebration! I was so happy to try a few items from the summer menu. The veggie Panini contains delicious mixture of fresh vegetables. I just had difficulty eating it because the bread was so thick. I ended up just picking it apart. The drunken noodles were absolutely delicious and definitely try those again. There's plenty of parking stretched out along the building and beyond. Reservations are suggestions. You pay whatever you think the meal is worth or more because a good meal is available to anyone, regardless of how much they pay. www.tasteproject.org will tell you everything you need to know.

Yelp
The food was delicious. It is well worth supporting especially for the cause. They were a little busy because they had some unexpected traffic come through so the wait time did get a little longer than expected, but the food came out and it was simply marvelous. I advise everyone to go by and support and try their menu items are different daily. You set your own prices so it's kind of one of those things where it's a donation based on what you receive, but the food is so good and the donation that you're leaving remember it help helps feed another person or homeless person that comes in that can't afford to actually pay for their meals so don't go and be subjective to not wanting to pay what the value of the food that you receive at least give enough to help someone else out marvelous concept I love the way that they're trying to give back to the community. The volunteer staff that works there are all very friendly and very professional. The environment is so clean, including the restrooms. It's a marvelous place to go have lunch.

Yelp
AMAZING FOOD!! First time eating at the Arlington location and absolutely enjoyed it. It's a great looking restaurant with amazing food! Love their seasonal menu! Our food was delicious as always and the Mango dessert was incredible. Their "Pay what you can afford" or "Pay what you normally would pay and a little extra to help another family in need" is a most unique concept and shows a true heart and commitment to the community. Try them out next time you want to take the family out for a delicious culinary experience or just hang out for lunch with friends. You won't regret it!!

Yelp
Food was excellent. Service pretty good, keeping in mind they are volunteers. Had squash flower quesadillas. Try them out!
