"Tavern used to be the place for snacks and drinks in Midtown before it closed in 2022. It’s back open, and still a remarkably solid place for (you guessed it) snacks and drinks in Midtown. The buffalo cauliflower with blue cheese mousse returns with the sauce now conveniently on the side so your bite stays crispy, but the OG kale salad with its zippy and memorable Parmesan-lemon dressing remains blessedly unchanged. "Many were devastated to learn that M Street’s Tavern would close its doors in 2022, but thankfully, the team had plans to reopen in the future with an updated space. The restaurant is back, and even better now, too, with a refreshed menu and interior design. Menu standouts include dishes like a savory trio of dips, Wagyu fried rice, and pizzas ranging from a classic margherita to buffalo chicken.
