Where To Have Dinner When You Really Want Il Corvo

"If you’re an Il Corvo fan because of how the pasta makes you feel alive inside, you’d like Tavolata. It’s becoming a Seattle institution, which probably has to do with the fact that the people behind it know their way around a bag of semolina. Anything containing tomato or potato gnocchi automatically is our favorite dish here, but there are plenty of other options, too. Plus, the space works really well for fitting everyone you know - which we can’t say about Il Corvo, unless you want everyone else inside to hate you." - aimee rizzo

Tavolàta Capitol Hill offers a great dining experience with delicious fresh pasta, cooked perfectly with rich, flavorful sauces. The staff is friendly and helpful, especially when suggesting vegan options. There are zero-alcohol options available on the menu, which is a nice touch. Overall, a great spot for high-quality pasta and a well-rounded dining experience!

Google
The pasta is decent but not great. The lasagna was dry and lukewarm. The carbonara was watery and not very tasty, it needed more cheese. Our server was friendly and attentive. For the price it’s not a great value.

Google
Me and some friends went to this restaurant super excited to eat some pasta. The rigatoni was solid but the amount received for thirty dollars was absolutely horrendous. A friend of mine ordered the pesto dish and they must have been rationing because the noodles tasted plain. Their appetizer of meatballs was solid but overall the lack of sauce for the expensive main dishes was NOT acceptable for a PASTA restaurant. This is my first time having to write a review as im usually not picky.

Great Italian restaurant in Capitol Hill. Food was absolutely delicious. Staff was great. Quiet atmosphere. Would definitely come again.

Google
Really happy stumbled upon this place. To start off with- service and food was excellent! We were a party of 3. We all ordered food and shared it! Portions are decent however little expensive from other restaurants I have been to that serve similar food. Their gnocchi by far is the best I have ever had in my life thus far! So different and unique. Things I wouldn’t order is the red marble potatoes- not much flavor and the potatoes were semi raw. Burrata although was delicious, very expensive for the portion size.

Google
Ordered rigatoni takeout. Ive had tavolata from their location in Fremont before(which has been great), and Im disappointed to say that this restaurant fell severely short of expectations. Food was decent 3.5/5 (decent spices/taste, good pasta chew, meat consistency was questionable…) However the reason for my low rating was due to my takeout experience w this restaurant. I was appalled by the lack of food they put in the takeout container. the PORTION was HALF the amount of what I would typically have from stone way. It seriously made me question whether or not these were just leftover rigatoni pasta pieces from someones elses order. The meat pieces were all clumped into 2 midsized meat pieces compared to several chunks of meat (compared to stony way location). Can’t speak on the dine-in experience, but the takeout was just… depressing

Google
Delicious Italian food and good cocktails. Wide selection of wines with 2 decent beers on tap. Food is definitely a bit pricey, and they tack on a 22% service fee when you dine in. The service was good though- the staff were very friendly and attentive.

Google
I don't often eat Italian food, but I'm glad to have stopped by. My table shared a couple plates and an appetizer. The restaurant is well decorated, but they do have an awkwardly placed bar seating that is right behind tables, so other people are sitting right behind you, but elevated - able to see and hear everything you are doing. We loved the gnocchi, but burrata always wins me over - so simple and crisp, especially with the peaches. This spot is good for a nicer evening with friends, a date night with the potential for "treating yourself", or maybe a birthday. The staff is helpful, if you have questions on drinks or pasta types they are able to help.

Yelp
a FANTASTIC italian meal at tavolata! It was a pretty upscale place and great prices. We came during restaurant week and shared a bottle of wine, but on weekdays there are also really good pasta wine deals I highly recommend taking advantage of. The pastas here were comparatively delightful to the ones I tried in Italy, which I loved, so that says a lot! Pictured above are the Rigatoni and Bucatini. I was impressed by the amount of protein in each of the pasta that we didn't even have to add extra. Both pastas were perfectly al dente as well and the flavors were well balanced. The server was also so nice and relatable, and made our meal feel so homey and welcome. Overall I'd change nothing about the experience, a well deserved 5/5!

Yelp
I found Tavolata to be just mediocre for the money. I sat at the bar tonight and ordered the focaccia from their happy hour menu ($8 down from $9 regular price-- such savings!) and the butternut squash ravioli. I asked for no balsamic with either of these items, but the bread still came with olive oil and balsamic mixed together in the same dish, a big pet peeve of mine. Additionally, the bread was warm on the edges but cold/ room temp in the middle. The butternut squash ravioli was good but I expected a larger portion for $30. And honestly, if I'm paying $30 for pasta with no protein, it had better be life changing. The final nail came from the 22% service charge added to the bill. The service was fine, but I think tacking on any more than 20% automatically to all bills is offensive. With the service charge, I paid $50 for bread and pasta, no drink. The quality just wasn't there for 50 bucks!
google avatar

Kate K.

Yelp
I'll start by saying that we used to love this restaurant. That was before they instituted a 22% service charge on every table, with the addendum that they "pay their servers fairly so there is no need to tip". What exactly is the service charge for then? I would tip 22% for excellent service, but last night our server was downright snarly. The service was terrible. He didn't look at us, snapped when he couldn't hear us order (they had a large table of 16 who were yelling down the table at each other), literally slammed the food down and left and then never came back. When we flagged him down to ask for dessert, he sighed and dropped the menus on our table as he was passing - just threw them down. The place was not not full and not terribly busy, so he wasn't slammed. It was also 2 hours prior to closing so we weren't coming in late and demanding service. For almost $200 for 4 people (2 were children) we had a terrible time. Sad that this place is ruined for us now. Although my food was bland, the other 3 dishes were as good as always, so the food isn't the losing point here - it's definitely the service and extra charges. I'd say order takeout but there is still the 22% service charge on that, along with an 8% takeout fee - that's BEFORE delivery. Have fun paying twice.

Yelp
A fun spot tucked into the heart of Cap Hill, though there's a few locations sprinkled throughout the city. They have great pasta deal on Mondays for 2 pastas and a bottle of wine for $45 -- would recommend making a reservation in advance since it gets busy. I loved all the pastas I got here, you really can't go wrong.
google avatar

Aaron Y.

Yelp
This place was very mid for the price. Good location though. Food was just alright, the pasta was nothing special in my opinion. I added chicken to it because I wanted extra protein but the chicken was very dry and not much flavor. The portion size was decent. Service was okay, he was pretty nice in the beginning and attentive. But when we asked him to split the bill at the end, he seemed a little annoyed and sassy. Also, 22 percent of gratuity is added regardless of how many people are there. That part I didn't like very much, seems a little too much. Ambiance was nice, overall pretty clean. Cozy aesthetic. Overall, I wouldn't say I won't be back, but it would not be my first option.

Yelp
For such a popular Italian restaurant in Capitol Hill, we appreciated the option to make a reservation ahead of time. Our group of six got a widespread of appetizers and I especially liked the roasted beets and bruschetta. We also ordered every single pasta from their happy hour menu except anchovies spaghetti. The food had such generous portions during happy hour and was incredibly filling. What was interesting was that different pastas had drastically different salt levels. For someone who loves their noodles al dente, the pasta really hit the spot. We came celebrating two friends' birthdays and appreciated how the staff brought out beignets and ice cream for us to enjoy.

Quin T.

Yelp
I do not like writing back reviews, but I have to agree with a good deal of other yelpers in that the food was mediocre and the service, while decent was absolutely not even close to a 22% tip. If I had not been forced to pay such a high tip, I think the service would have warranted 15%. I had never been here before and within a few minutes of sitting, I was asked if I knew what to order and of course, I did not. This song and dance continued for about 10-15 minutes with me asking various questions and it would have been great to have received recommendations. Finally, I decided on the roasted beet salad, that ended up being watery and lacked flavor. It was still happy hour, so I ordered the focaccia, without knowing that it was a full order (for 1 person). If I had known that, I would not have ordered it. The bread was ok, but tasted better than the salad. For my main course, I chose the potato gnocchi with truffles and it too was a bit bland. I only had a few bites of each item, so there was quite a bit of food leftover. The waitress just picked up my food without asking if I wanted it to go.
google avatar

Julia L.

Yelp
$45 for 3 pastas? A crazy deal on Mondays and Tuesdays. They have a small patio that allows dogs as well! All their pastas were a bit too salty for me, but would be willing to try again!
google avatar

Stephanie C.

Yelp
My first Tavolata experience! We ordered almost everything on the menu and I can't say I have a favorite. The gnocchi is quite unique and wholesome, while the bits of beef in the rigatoni were memorable. The focaccia is a must-try. Our server was amazing and overall the restaurant is a beautiful, open space. All their pastas are made in-house and their flavors stand out from other Italian restaurants.

Yelp
We went to Tavolàta this past Monday. The service was great. Loved the look of the place; it was very open and modern. The food was good. It wasn't spectacular like some other more authentic Italian spots, but it was very good. I do agree with other reviewers that the music selection was a bit off putting and dare I say, tacky. At one point, Backstreet Boys "as long as you love me" came on. I felt like I was at an Applebee's. We ordered their $45 dinner, which was a great deal: 2 pastas and a bottle of wine OR 3 pastas. We opted for 3 and got drinks off the regular drink selections. The only negative was that the Campanelle was very salty. I don't know if it was the pesto or what, but it was almost overwhelming. Overall, it was good. I would go again if I was in the area but I wouldn't travel to eat there. And 1000% the pasta is not house made; atleast not for the pastas that I ate.

Yelp
My sister and I came in with a friend from out of town last night. The wait was long but we were offered bar seating so we took it. We didn't expect much sitting at the bar but we ended up getting great service. The bar tender was super friendly and a manager (maybe owner?) was very kind to us. We got our food and drinks quickly. I got the rigatoni 10/10 recommend... so tasty! Sister got the potato gnocchi and loved it! We will definitely come back.

Yelp
Tavolàta has easily become one of my favorite Italian spots in Capitol Hill. The service was super friendly and helped my friend and I figure out what to order when we stopped by on a busy Saturday evening. There are also plenty of vegetarian options so it was easy for us to find something we liked. We started with the focaccia bread that's served with a cheese dip and olive oil. The bread was flavorful and really fluffy. I highly recommend the campanelle pasta, which is a pesto pasta with mushroom and lots of shredded parm! The portion sizes are decently big, the ambiance is great, and the food is delicious!

Yelp
I've been here once before for happy hour, and it truly never disappoints! We ordered the butternut squash ravioli, which was exceptional. Both food and drinks arrived very quickly. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
This place is a must-visit for pasta lovers! The bucatini is exceptional, with perfectly cooked pasta and a flavorful sauce that truly stands out. The service is attentive, ensuring you have everything you need without feeling rushed. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great spot for a cozy meal, whether you're dining solo or with friends.

Yelp
Tavoláta is one of the best pasta places to get pasta in Seattle! I have been to Tavoláta many times, and it is always constantly amazing. The service is 5/5 and always makes special occasions feel special. We went here last weekend, and it was delicious! I am a bread lover, and the Focaccia Bread is a must-try. My favorite pasta is the Spaghetti - tomato, basil, parmesan w/ meatball. It is on the more pricey side, but it is worth every penny. The ambiance is cute, and is in Capitol Hill. They are always very accommodating with reservations. If you are looking for a good pasta place, you should give this place a try. Tip: The kitchen is in the back of the restaurant, so try to get seats in the front, or it can be very hot.

Yelp
Tavolàta was the first restaurant my boyfriend and I tried when he moved to Seattle and it was our go-to spot when he lived nearby. We haven't been in months and came here for dinner tonight to celebrate an anniversary and had a lovely time! We ordered the focaccia bread for an appetizer. For dinner, we ordered the rigatoni, pappardelle, ricotta ravioli, octopus salad, brussels sprouts, and the spaghetti and added the pork and chicken meatballs to it. The spaghetti is my favorite aside from the pesto pasta but they sadly don't have that on the menu anymore. Absolutely delicious and amazing flavor! One of my favorite things about this restaurant is that the food is consistently good each and every time. The prices are on the higher side (ex: $34 for spaghetti if you add the meatballs) but I think it's worth it for the quality of the food. Great service as well! Our server, Jess, was sweet, bubbly, and had great energy. I love the ambiance here - modern and classy. The dimmed lighting creates a cozy and intimate vibe which makes it the perfect spot for a meal with loved ones or a date night. Tavolàta is a must-try spot that I always recommend!! You will not be disappointed here!

Benjamin T.

Yelp
Look, I used to like this place as a good neighborhood spot. Pre-COVID we went on Fridays for the 6pm happy hour. But they've hiked the prices to an insane amount AND on top of that they apply an additional 4% inflation adjustment fee. But that's not how inflation works. It leaves such a bad taste in your mouth. The food REALLY isn't worth the price. I promise.

Morgan L.

Yelp
Decent pasta. Amazing beet salad!! A bit pricey, but nice atmosphere. Fair service. Convenient location.
google avatar

Jeremiah B.

Yelp
Lovely Italian spot in Capitol Hill with simple but tasty pasta dishes. Service is good, quick, and makes you feel comfortable. The dining area offers long tables and booths for both large parties or for an intimate setting. Overall, a good experience. Good for many occasions!

Yelp
Absolutely love love love Tavolata. I will preface that I will always make a reservation for any ES Restaurant. Today we came for Xmas Eve and I had the Apple of my Rye Slushy, the bruschetta which is with smoked fish and I always get the spaghetti and meatballs. Everything was amazing. Service was exceptional as well, especially understanding that they were missing time with their families during the holidays. I love ESR so we'll definitely be back!

Yelp
I got to enjoy a Seattle Restaurant Week meal at Tavolata this year. The patio was a joy, as always. The chefs at Tavolata create beautiful meals, a treat for the eyes. The delicats squash appetizer was fantastic. It never would have occurred to me to pair it with pomegranate seeds, but they went so, SO well together. It was a wonderful combination of flavors and textures. The braised short rib was sweet and incredibly tender it paired wall with the slightly bitter savory flavor of thee Brussels sprouts and mashed parsnip. The pumpkin panna cotta was a disappointment. The pumpkin spice flavor overwhelmed the subtle flavor and texture of the panna cotta. Despite the dessert, I'm glad I got a chance to try the SRW menu!
google avatar

Rebecca C.

Yelp
Came here for restaurant week with a friend and paid $50 per person which was well worth the money. Portions are really good with amazing food. The staff was very kind, knowledgeable and welcoming. The inside of the restaurant was very clean with nice lighting. I would suggest sitting at the bar facing the outside if possible.
google avatar

Mar F.

Yelp
Service was A1, 3pasta dishes for 45$ & bottle of wine. Mon/Tue only! You legit can't beat that. Forgot how entertaining people watching on cap hill is! Def a must try!
google avatar

Smrithi S.

Yelp
I have been wanting to try Tavolata for a while now, and finally made it for dinner on Valentines Day. We got to try their special Valentines Day menu at $85 per person and an additional wine pairing for $55. The 4 course menu included Primi which was shared for the table, Pasta, Entree, and Dessert. Primi included Chicory Salad, Ahi Crudo, Bruschetta, and Cauliflower soup. I loved the Ahi Crudo, and Cauliflower Soup, Bruschetta was great, and Chicory Salad was good. For the Pasta course, we picked Conchiglie Nero, and Pappardelle. I loved the Conchiglie Nero, the combination of prawns, and 'Nduja. Pappardelle was good, our first time having to pork cheek, it's rich and added a great flavor to the pasta. For Entree, we chose Braised Short Rib, and Scallops. Scallops were great, loved the Parnsip Puree that came with it. Braised Short Rib was good, the polenta was great. For Dessert, we got Paris-Brest, and Flourless Chocolate Cake. We loved our desserts. The best Paris-Brest we have had, the candied orange added a punch to it. Great Chocolate cake! We will be back to try their normal menu.

Yelp
We had reservations here on the Saturday night that Taylor Swift was in town, in anticipation that restaurants everywhere would be crazy busy, but that was far from the case when we arrived. Our reservation was for counter seating, but seeing as it wasn't too busy, the staff kindly accommodated our request to sit at a table instead. Our server was spirited and delightful, and the other wait staff who presented our dishes were so friendly and welcoming. My friend and I shared the Focaccia Bread, the Roasted Beet Salad (which she had before and raved about), and Pappardelle with beef and pork ragu. Focaccia was good, though nothing to get too excited over. We were big fans of the roasted beets - we both loved how colorful and sweet they were and couldn't get enough of the whipped ricotta that coated the sides of the bowl. Having recently returned from a trip to Italy, I was impressed by how the pappardelle was reminiscent of a similar dish I'd had in Florence. The portions were generous and had us feeling stuffed. For a complimentary birthday treat, our server brought a scoop of pistachio gelato to top off the meal. Overall, a wonderful meal before our evening at the theater!

Yelp
We went to Tavolàta in Cap Hill on a Monday night in January 2024. The restaurant was cozy and warm on a very chilly winter night- it was a lovely contrast from the outside weather! We came in for the January Monday night special. Tavolata is currently doing buy one get one free pasta or gnocchi full size entrees. It was a fabulous deal and we loved our meals! We got a baguette as an appetizer and omg- yes. The bread came with oil and vinegar and an amazing cheese sauce- it was to die for. The gnocchi was out of this world. Mine came in a creamy cheese sauce. The gnocchi itself was very soft and literally melted in my mouth. My boyfriend's dish was also delicious- everything we ate was great! Our sever was also kind and helpful. I would highly recommend coming to Tavolata for a warm pasta dinner this winter!
google avatar

Parth S.

Yelp
The service here is really good; they're very attentive and your food and drinks come quick. The food is a little pricey and could have more flavor, but it's decent. I'd definitely make a reservation beforehand.
google avatar

Emily C.

Yelp
We ordered the rigatoni pasta, roasted fingerling potatoes, caesar salad, and lemon zeppole for dessert. Food was delicious and service was good. I love that the portion sizes are the same even for happy hour! Tip- make a reservation online because it gets super busy! We made one the night before.
google avatar

Kristen J.

Yelp
Wonderful fresh and rich foods! Come here during happy hour for a great deal! The atmosphere is beautiful and is a cute hidden gem. Out of all the dishes, I enjoyed the beets and the smoked salmon appetizer. The small plates of appetizers were wonderful the share and so flavorful! Service was wonderful! The servers are very kind!
google avatar

Leah R.

Yelp
The food was delicious and they had very nice specialty cocktails as well. Service was quick and friendly.
google avatar

Sabrina H.

Yelp
I want to preface this by saying that the service was really good and friendly. There is an automatic 22% gratuity and I think that our server was kind and the ambiance is also nice. However, I think that to food is average and for the price, does not provide good value. I cam here with a party of 5 and we ordered the burrata and beets as appetizers and the portions were pretty small for the price. I got the gnocchi alla romana and it was good. It wasn't spectacular though or groundbreaking, and for that price I would expect it to be. Polenta is very filling so I was full but there wasn't really anything special. My party had brought a cake to be cut and although I expected a cake fee, I was not informed beforehand what that would be so I was shocked when I was charged $15 to cut pieces of a $30 cake. I was overall pretty disappointed with the experience and probably would not be returning.
google avatar

Austin P.

Yelp
We saw this place featured in an Instagram reel about date night spots in Seattle, so we decided to give it a try. We were able to get a same day reservation too, which I was shocked by because it's an Ethan Stowell restaurant. We got there in time for happy hour, which was a huge plus. Some of the pasta dishes are significantly discounted on their happy hour menu! We sat on the patio, which I'd recommend if the weather is nice. The patio only has about 2-3 tables, so it feels more private. And our server was still very attentive to us out there. We started with a glass of wine each and split the focaccia and the chickpea appetizers. For mains, I got the spaghetti with anchovies and my partner got the pappardelle. Everything was good, but it was missing that little oomph to make it outstanding. They did add a 4% surcharge to the bill for "rising costs" and not to give to the staff. I get it, the cost of everything is rising. But just raise your prices by 4% and don't tack on this surcharge.
google avatar

Shaye V.

Yelp
The Tuesday pasta deal was the bests 2 pastas and a bottle of wine for $45 our server was super kind! It was a really great date night
google avatar

Pearl W.

Yelp
The pasta seems overpriced for the quality. It is fresh pasta and the pasta is pretty on the plates. However, when you have places like due cucina that make fresh pasta that is just as good if not better I expect more for the prices of tavolata. The gnocchi I had was gummy and a bit on the too salty side. The vibes are pretty good the service was great, I just don't think I would come back again for the food.
google avatar

Savannah M.

Yelp
Service is amazing! We got many dishes but stand outs were the Focaccia and Bucatini (great portion, could have been split). Ricotta Ravioli could have used a little more flavor. Cocktails 10/10
google avatar

Katie H.

Yelp
Great fresh made pasta, meatballs and nonalcoholic drinks. They are very accommodating to food allergies and very friendly staff.
google avatar

Francesca S.

Yelp
For the price (almost $30 a plate) I don't really think that this place was worth it. I ordered their Pappardelle and Bucatini and both were severely undercooked. It was also really bland and lacked flavor.
google avatar

Allisha B.

Yelp
Love going here for happy hour, filling meal and strong drinks. Spacious and cute open layout right in the heart of Capitol Hill. During the summer months they keep the floor-to-ceiling windows open which is nice for a cool breeze and people watching, but that can go both ways....strangers stopping to watch you eat or smoke a cigarette. The roasted beets are fantastic! And the marinated olives are so densely rich, hard to describe, but try them out! The size of pasta you get during happy hour is filling. Parking in Cap Hill is difficult, walk or take ride-share.
google avatar

Carol L.

Yelp
This is my first time eating Italian food in Seattle. We made a reservation for a large group outing here and everything went smoothly. We ordered appetizers to share -- the octopus salad, steak tartare, and bruschetta (smoked salmon). They were all pretty good and good to share. We got entrees of bucatini (with truffle +$10) and potato gnocchi. We were a little surprised by the differences in portion sizes. There was a lot less gnocchi than there was bucatini. The bucatini didn't have much flavor other than oil/butter, but the pork and the truffles helped. My partner enjoyed his gnocchi, but there wasn't enough of it. We did order a lot of appetizers though, so we weren't hungry. To finish it off, we ordered the tiramisu, the lemon beignets, and the affogato with pistachio gelato to share. The tiramisu portion is quite small and tasted just ok. The lemon beignet had many pieces so was good to share and also came with a chocolate dipping sauce, but I thought it was just ok. It was quite fluffy though. The pistachio gelato was delicious though! Large pieces of pistachio inside. Our server was very friendly and helped explain portion sizes and items to us. I needed my entree packed to go, and she helped me box it. This restaurant is casual upscale but often quite busy so it can get loud. It can be difficult to find parking in Capitol Hill.
google avatar

Emily L.

Yelp
Really great dinner at Tavolàta. We chose the Caesar salad and focaccia bread as an appetizer, the latter being absolutely incredible and a can't-miss if you visit here. It comes with a cheesey dip that is to die for. Then as an entree I ordered the pappardelle which came in a large serving. It had a slight minty flavor which was a little interesting at first but I ended up loving this dish. Highly recommend this restaurant and would definitely return.
google avatar

Mary R.

Yelp
The bucatini was to die for! The service was great and the vibe was amazing!! Can't wait to come here again.
google avatar

Philip S.

Yelp
Everything as it should be. Arrived a few minutes early but the table was ready so I was seated immediately to wait a few minutes for others to arrive. A good Negroni from the bar. Interesting menu with lots of vegetarian choices. the appetizers came out in good timing and were very well prepared. The mains were also very good. This was a Wednesday evening so the restaurant was not crowded, The ambiance was quiet and good for conversation. Service was well timed and efficient. We even had a desert, which is unusual these days. The restaurant adds a relatively high service fee but they do not expect tips so we did not add one to the check. My only complaint has nothing to do with the restaurant and that is that street parking in this neighborhood is impossible so I had to opt for a lot at a fairly steep price.

Yelp
Second time here and everything was delicious. The server was attentive and friendly. The restaurant is very open and bright. I'm always here in the summer and only see it during the day as the days are long. The espresso martini draft is a nice little pick me up. Highly recommend coming here if you want good pasta.

Yelp
I have gone here a good number of times usually during HH. Not this time, but last time I did find a hair in my pasta and they ofc remade it and were super great about fixing the issue. My overall take is that this place is best for HH because the pasta itself is good not great. I got the pesto today, and pasta was well cooked but the pesto itself had no brightness and was overly salted for me. My friend got the gluten free bucatini but their gluten free option is a rigatoni, and the sauce is essentially a carbonara, and it was nothing special either. Portions are quite large though, and you will be full. Burrata was sweet with roasted cherries, fruits, and nuts. Once again, nothing will blow you away. Out of the times I have come during HH, I usually prefer the rigatoni or pappardelle. The restaurant is open air with windows open to the sidewalks. My friend and I walked in without a res and sat countertop. Service was fine, and oddly instead of raising prices for inflation they're tagging on a 4% surcharge to your bill to account for increased costs of food/labor. Anywho ~$80 for two entrees, an app, no drinks..so like I stated in the beginning it's better to come check out during HH.

Yelp
I would give this place a 4.5. The burrata with strawberries was the best I have ever had. The flavor combination with the hazelnuts and all the textures delicious. Potion size was great. We all left full and satisfied

Yelp
Unfortunately came here without being too hungry so I got the burrata while my friend got the tagliatelle. It came with crackers, and a bunch of other little yummy cracker toppings. Super filling, creamy, and a great way to stimulate the palate.

Yelp
Really great Italian spot in Capitol Hill. We made a reservation online and were seated right away when we checked in with the hostess. We didn't realize it beforehand, but this place has happy hour daily from 4-6 PM. So a lot of items on the menu, not just drinks, are discounted. This is the move because otherwise I think the place is pricey. I got the Pappardelle, and it was delightful! It was also quite filling; they definitely are generous on the portion size. The beef and pork ragu was the real star. Nice and meaty, and well spiced. I liked the hints of orange and mint, subtle, yet there. My friend got this dish, too, and was also pleased. My other friend is vegetarian, and got the Rigatoni without the meat. They're super accomadating if you want to make the pastas vegetarian friendly.

Yelp
I have had great experiences when I have been there. I would highly recommend for a more casual fancy thing. The food was good and the waiters are friendly

Yelp
Great food and service. The Gnocchi was amazing. Even better when you use their gift card from Costco.
