"Don your best gloves and English accent for high tea at this restaurant just south of Cutler Bay. The Tea Room serves the best high tea in the county. It comes with soup, quiches, finger sandwiches, scones, small cakes, and your choice of tea. Everything is housemade except the macarons. And it’s the perfect place to take the kid in your life who’s made you watch the tea party scene in Alice In Wonderland 25 times. There’s also an option for children eight and under with grilled cheese sandwiches and sweet scones. The restaurant has five separate Baroque-themed rooms with ornate plates hung on the wall, ostrich feathers, chandeliers, and cupboards full of floral tea cups. Just make sure you reserve the high tea 24 hours in advance . " - Virginia Otazo

This place is a unique experience in the heart of Cauley Square. What really caught my eye was the attention to detail of this place. They used old teapots 🫖 as planters on the outside garden. The host shared with us that the Tea Room opened their doors 50 years ago. This is not only a restaurant but you can also buy tea sets and other souvenirs. On the inside, all rooms have different decor. We did not have the high tea experience but lunch was delicious. Love the French onion soup.

Excellent food, love the crab cake eggs Benedict with home fries. The service isn’t great though, the women who work there need some serious training. Our waitress refused to split our check and even asked us to split our own check even the tax amount! I’ve never been asked to do that in a restaurant before. The floors are ugly, looks like they had carpet ripped out and it’s ugly cement now, the inside looks cute but very dated. Chairs has paint chipping, ceiling has water stains by the chandelier. The house tea has skyrocketed in price, $25 for a pot of tea! Everyone opted for coffee drinks instead which they said tasted great. What you hope to be a lovely relaxing morning gets ruined by the miserable employees.

I am absolutely in love with the Tea Room! Today was my second time eating here and I was impressed again. I will be back many more times. Today, I came for the High Tea ($45 per person; party of 2). After tipping, we spent around $101 total but it was worth it. We started off with the French Blue Lavender Tea which was good. But honestly, I couldn't do more than one cup this realistically. It had a strong flavor but it was still good. We did one pot at a time in order to always have warm tea at the suggestion of the waitress(great tip). Then, we had creamy Spinach soup which was also good. Then the 3-tier tray came out with quiche, mini sandwiches, desserts, and scones. Each type of item came as 2 each so we could both try one. Everything was good including the vegetable finger sandwiches. They seasoned the vegetables in that sandwich which is not common in vegetable sandwiches. We ordered our last pot of tea, Indigo punch which was also delicious. You could definitely drink multiple cups of this. We were unable to finish the desserts because we were so full. But we did box them up. I took a bite of the key lime dessert later and it was delicious. It was not to sweet or too limey. All in all, the Tea Room has a new fan. I'm so glad I found this place! Regular food on the menu is also good. The first time I went, I had the Egg Benedict Crab Cake with Hollandaise sauce and that was even better the second day. Home fries were also delicious and I had the Marie Antoinette Tea. Once again 10 out of ten and it helps that everyone is so nice there.

Wow, a hidden gem south of Miami, its breakfasts and lunches are spectacular, ideal for excellent food, highly recommended, Erick, our waiter, very professional, thank you very much.

Google
Perfect for lunch and early dinner, beautiful tea room, delicious tea and good food in general. The staff is friendly, the tea choices are very wide.

Google
Plan accordingly and be aware it's a popular place and be patient might require a bit of a wait but it's totally worth it. My daughter recommended this spot from some videos she saw and although it took us a few hours to get here and we loved it. The food and the ambient was delightful. The staff is very knowledgeable about the menu and were nice to modify an order for my little picky eater. It's a beautiful place for special occasion or just a breakfast like we did, inside might be a bit small and it can feel crowded so consider that too but totally worth it.

Google
Enchanting place, great for weddings venues, so magical, so. Beautifully decorated, affordable prices, lots of food, good variety of plates to choose, clean, very busy.

Google
Such a cute place with a vintage vibe through the whole decoration of the rooms! The food was good, soecially the chicken wings that were incredible and also the cakes were amazing - make sure to order the carrot cake!!!!! The service was very very good but in the beginning we had a rough start with the hostess that seemed a bit desorganized and was not very helpful or even nice, but after the waitress and the kitchen assistant that helped us were impeacable! Good to go every now and then

Madeline D.

Yelp
Love this cozy place. Feels like you are eating at your family member's home. Food & Service Very Good! I invited my BFF and she loved it.

Claudia D.

Yelp

Jessica O.

Yelp
My family and I went to the Tea Room to celebrate Mother's Day and we had the most amazing experience. The food was carefully crafted and delicious. The lavender tea was to die for! And let's clarify, I'm a coffee person but absolutely loved it lol. I was kind of nervous to bring my 3 year old to this venue but it actually went great. My son loved drinking his apple juice in the china and the server was very kind and patient, especially with my little one, which I really appreciated. They also sell really nice antique items at the entrance which I was not expecting. My only suggestion would be to expand the nursery tea menu to include one of the side items since the little ones can be quite picky. I'll definitely be back to the tearoom and can't wait to try other lunch and breakfast menu items. Amazing choice of overall!

Meillany P.

Yelp
The food was odd tasting. The ambiance looks outdated and dirty. It is such a historic place- it's sad to see it now

Abel R.

Yelp
A beautiful historical place with a vintage vibe. Every room is decorated nicely. Great atmosphere for a small group of friends to hang out for a bit. It's always busy here, so service tends to be a bit chaotic. Food was delicious. Only downside is finding parking in this place. Parking is always full. Do come early though.

Christina P.

Yelp
Love this resturant!! I cannot tell you what is my favorite because there is so many!! For breakfast- lunch- brunch any tea time is the perfect place- highly recommend

Nikki M.

Yelp
Such a cute place to enjoy high tea! I loved all the food and they accommodated the girls with lemonade and hot chocolate. I loved the tea and the towers of treats! I heard brunch is really good too so I'll be back to try more of the menu!

Ismary G.

Yelp
Thank you Natalie for your exemplary service. We love this place and the food is amazing. The teas are legitimately delicious and fresh and the ambience is quaint and romantic. One of my all time favorite spots. I've already posted about this place but i went back today and was so happy

Danielle B.

Yelp
I have been coming here for years. I love this place! It is wayyy down south, but it is well worth the drive. Parking is available on the street for free, and I can usually find a spot on the main street by being patient. If not, there is parking in a separate lot down the block. My favorite teas are the Wedding Blend and the Magicienne. The Spice tea is great when it is a big cooler outside. I order the vegetarian high tea with the soup and quiche. Their soups are always delicious. Even though I don't normally get excited over a lentil soup, they have one of the best I've tried. My husband and friends, who are not vegetarian, often order the French onion soup, which is covered in delicious gooey cheese. As you can see in these photos, they often change things up, especially with the desserts. I've never been disappointed. My favorite is probably the key lime pie desserts they have. The ingredients feel fresh and like they were prepared with care. For the afternoon and high tea services, you have to make the reservation 24 hours in advance with their online form, which is not the easiest to fill out. If they made it a fill-in-the-blank PDF, this would make it much easier to navigate. Even though the new requirement of putting down a credit card for the service can be a hassle, it is well worth it for their tea services. We've seen it grow in popularity in the last few years, so it makes sense. Even if we've had to wait an hour or so to be seated, Cauley Square is a cute place to wander through the outdoorsy areas or the local shops. It can be hectic in the front of the restaurant, but once you sit down, the servers are been sweet and accommodating.

Anna F.

Yelp
@annainthe305 I love this unique spot in Miami. It's delightful to enjoy lunch surrounded by such cute vintage decor. The food is actually also incredibly tasty. I had the Greek salad with shrimp, which was one of the lunch specials. My guest sampled the soup of the day (lentil) and the quiche lorraine. She reported that both were pleasant savory sensations. Of course, we also had some freshly brewed tea. I want to return to try the tea service. It's the only one you can find in Miami that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I'm sure it will be an experience to remember!

Alexa F.

Yelp
Cute place to have tea and scones/sandwiches/etc. Would not come for regular food. Had the blt and it had an entire avocado but barely any bacon, not balanced. Fries are good. Pricey for what it is.

Dee C.

Yelp
Service was friendly and quick when they opened. It gives vintage tea room vibes. The tea is good and comes in a cute tea pot. My Bellini was great. I tried the grilled salmon dish. The fish could be more crispy and less watery. Fries were perfect. Husband says his prosciutto sandwich was okay. Overall, unique experience and food is decent.

Kat Y.

Yelp
I love close by and I love coming by here. Great ambiance, food and service. Definitely give this a try if you like Cute little charm spots.

Estrella A.

Yelp
Get here early!!! I made a reservation for my Dad's birthday and we had to park really far because there are different little shops around the same street so parking is taken really easily. When we got inside, we waited for our table since it was a Sunday and they were pretty busy!!! Every "tea room" is decorates differently and has an antique vibe which was so eye catching. We were a party of 8 and were easily accommodated. We all ordered teas -- they have so many amazing flavors to try and they bring them in the cutest tea cup sets (i'm a tea lover so I appreciated it!) and we got the stands with sweets and savory food which was good to share with one other person.

Gigliola D.

Yelp
Food was great! Sat at the bar and the server was very nice and always checking in. There are 2 entrances so the seating is kind of confusing. We went ahead and sat at bar but we could not find where the checking area was. Parking is not the best but with patience you can find.

Jess B.

Yelp
Stopped by the Tea Room today for a double date brunch with some good friends of ours and all 4 of us loved it! Cauley Square is hidden away, blink and you'll miss it. However, it is so picturesque, cozy and absolutely beautiful (although parking is challenging). Our service was friendly from start to finish, especially the waitress who was knowledgeable and recommended several options, as it was the first time for all 4 of us. The food was impeccable! All plates had immense portions and they were all flavorful and freshly made. I highly recommend the French Onion soup, it was everyone's favorite. It was reasonably priced, just prepare to wait 30-40 minutes for seating, however it's worth it! Our brunch was wonderful and cannot wait to return!

Jason G.

Yelp
Best breakfast in town. Eggs Benedict are on point every time. Love this place in a great location.

Jesined C.

Yelp
I re-visited this cute tea room once again with my mother and she loved it! She was so happy to be there and really enjoyed her food. The portions are great and the service was good. The food takes a bit to come out but overall our experience was great!

Estefania O.

Yelp
We had a delightful brunch at a charming tea room. The portions were generous and satisfying, and the pancakes were unequivocally exceptional. The finger sandwiches were beautifully crafted and presented. I would highly recommend this establishment for anyone seeking an elegant and enjoyable brunch experience.

Magaly P.

Yelp
I've been wanting to visit The Tea Room for a long time and am just getting around to it. There was a 25 minute wait and people coming and going constantly. Very popular spot and now I know why. The place has a lot more than tea and scones. They have a full menu. We had the French Toast, eggs Benedict with bacon, kid's pancakes, side of sausages, home fries, coffee, chocolate milk with a mountain of whipped cream and of course - a pot of tea. The kids loved the pancakes and the sausages. We got the pancakes with bananas and strawberries. They added whipped cream and the kids loved them. They didn't even add maple syrup. The eggs Benedict was delicious. You have a choice of protein. I chose bacon and it was crispy and not oily. The hollandaise sauce was tart and creamy. French toast was thick but tasted light. We got sides of home fries. They were thin circles almost like chips. They're seasoned with s&p and Italian seasoning. Crispy and delicious. We got the kids cold chocolate milk and it came with a mountain of whipped cream. The 7 year old drank the whole thing before her food even got there. It looked so yummy. For the tea I chose the Earl Grey Imperial. When I return I'll be a bit more adventurous but you can't go wrong with Earl Grey. I got a whole pot of tea for $8. Our server Daniela was super nice. She was attentive without hovering. She checked on us several times to see if we needed anything. The tall tea trays going past us looked so good. They only take reservations for tea service. They were also good about allergens. I explained ours and we didnt have any issues. I overheard the server at the next table who was serving high tea. She made sure to bring a nut free tray to the right person at the table.

Valeria B.

Yelp
We love this place. It's a hidden gem, unique, and big portions of delicious food. It can get very busy on the weekends so be be prepared to either arrive early or wait. I recommend their French Onion soup, one of the best I've ever had.

Laquette P.

Yelp
Love the decor, the environment, and the food is good. But a little tight and congested. And you can't make reservations

Marietsy P.

Yelp
It is so hard to find a nice place for tea and this restaurant delivered. They have a tea service but you have other tea options. I don't recommend going with small children especially if they like to touch things. There are a lot of breakables and it was hard to avoid as an adult bumping into something accidentally. It's well air conditioned and they have a couple of tea options I haven't heard before. Some of the items on the wall/shelves are for sale too. On the weekends it can get packed so you will have to wait a little.

Yelp
I found Cauley Square near Cutler Bay on the Yelp app, so we took a day trip there to celebrate mami's birthday at the Tea Room. This is a frequented spot and there were several parties going on. We left our name for a group of 6 and went to walk around and enjoy the shops and gardens. Just short of an hour, our table in what appeared to be the original dining room of this vintage house, was set and ready. We soon ordered tostones and stuffed curry puffs as appetizers, along with one of the best red sangrias we all ever had! Afterward, we ordered soup du jour (see photos), finger sandwiches, stuffed avocados with walnut & cranberry chicken salad, a veggie burger with cheese, and all of us had Egyptian chamomile tea with honey & cream. Even my little two-year-old, very poised granddaughter had a cup with us! The prices are fair and the service was fine. I personally don't like to see when the servers are running around stressed and rushed--and patrons are lined up to get in. It just changes the entire ambiance for me. That said, though I don't know that we will drive down here again, it was a pleasurable experience for mami; and being the object of our affection and adventure, this was a good find!

Beth S.

Yelp
We've come here several times. It never disappoints. We came on Friday afternoon for my daughter's birthday. We arrived about 2. There was a 15 minute wait. The rooms are very inviting and everything is beautifully decorated. They could probably upgrade the chairs a bit. They're not the most comfortable but the ambiance is perfect for tea. After we were sat my husband and I ordered a pot of the goji berry tea. My daughter got a cup of Indigo punch tea. And my other daughter got the Sur La Lune. They were able to have 2 cups each from their servings. My daughter and I both wanted the lobster bisque, but they were put, so we ordered a cup of lintel soup. It was really good. I was very happy with the choice. I ordered the Cobb salad. It's a little different from most- it doesn't have bacon or avocado on it. But it was huge! I must have only been able to eat 1/4 of it. My daughter ordered the steak medium/rare. It was pretty rare, but she really liked it and took half of it home. My other daughter ordered a chicken Cesar salad. It was good. She also took half of it home. My husband ordered the southwest chicken wrap. For some reason his meal came out quite a while after ours. That's one thing I really don't like- when a restaurant doesn't bring everyone's food out at the same time. I hate having one person sitting at the table without their food. It was at least 5-10 minutes before his food came out. He liked it and said it was good. It came with fries, which were okay. He didn't finish them. Altogether our bill was $104 before tip. I would give 5 stars, but the staff should always bring everyone's food out at the same time. They also didn't answer the phone when we tried to call before coming. But we will be back. It's nice to walk around Cauley Square after your meal. It's a beautiful area.

Alejandra B.

Yelp
This tea room is a hidden gem and is honestly worth the drive down to Homestead. We did high tea for my best friends birthday this year and at 40 something dollars a person, I thought it was worth it. You get your own individual tea set with a entire pot full of a tea of your choice. While I opted for Earl Grey, the choice of everyone having their own tea pot, allowed us to try other flavors. For example my friend had the lemon ginger that paired nicely with some of the sandwiches. Everyone gets to eat one of every dessert, sandwich, specialty bread, etc. they also begin you with a soup of the day. My only complaint about the food is that a couple of the cakes felt a little dry, and the macaron was really chewy and not at all authentic. We actually ate everything in unison and rated the food as we went. This was really fun, but it did allow us to come to a consensus about some of the items. In terms of the ambience, the entirety of Cauley Square is very vintage. It's a dive into old Florida. While I personally love the look of the tea house, and all of the eclectic antiques it houses, some people may not like the look. It's a different type of high tea, compared to some other tea rooms you may find in Europe. Remember this is Florida! You can also find a beautiful little thrift shop across the road, a crystal store, and a bookstore next-door. Overall a very fun day.

Marlene P.

Yelp
I've been here twice, and both times I've had so much fun looking at how this place is decorated. I preferred the food from the brunch menu over the food served for high tea, maybe because the dining rooms were far less crowded! The food prices here are fair, and the French toast was so delicious and fluffy. When I went for high tea, the crowdedness of the space made it feel too hot for tea, so it was difficult to enjoy the tea and snacks. I will keep coming back for the brunch and the charm of Cauley Square, though.

Oscar M.

Yelp
Breakfast was great, service was excellent. Came here with the family. Authentic tea room.

Audrey M.

Yelp
My only gripe with this place is the parking, which isn't really their fault so I'm still giving five stars. I've been here a few times and we're always seated quickly. I've heard on special occasions it can get crowded, so head over on an off day. The service is attentive and quick. I had the Shrimp and Grits, and did not expect it to be THAT delicious. It was a party on the pallet and I loved it. It's Cajun but not spicy and still packed with flavor. The grits were cooked well. It's a hearty portion so I don't recommend ordering anything in addition to it. My husband had the wings, they are fried and tossed in buffalo sauce. I personally didn't try them but he says the salt was heavy handed. He mentioned it probably should have sauce on the side to control the level of salt. All in all I love this place and it's quaint ambiance of dainty timepieces and tea paraphernalia.

Ana V.

Yelp
I took my sister in law for High Tea to celebrate her birthday a few weeks ago. Going to the Tea Room is like going back in time and being somewhere in New England. There were teacups and dainty decorations everywhere. There are private rooms perfect for bridal and baby showers. The drive is pretty far out there so make sure to give yourself ample time to arrive. Besides the typical tea service of scones, sandwiches, etc. there is a brunch/lunch menu as well. Take a stroll after you have had your tea and check out the little pathways and stores. The Tea House is a great place to wear your best fascinator and raise your pinky for some fancy tea.

Naila F.

Yelp
The food was amazing! The ambiance was perfect, and our waitress was a doll. As long as this place doesn't change in food quality, I will always come here. Ps: I recommend the Montecristo

Celia M.

Yelp
the tea room is so cute and such a unique place to visit. there's a lot of little shops to check out and walking around cauley square is beautiful on its own! we made a reservation and it was a bit busy at the time, so i would recommend booking ahead of time if you're in a big group. we did the $40 tea service and i totally recommend it! you get to pick a tea of your choice and they bring you a tray of appetizers like quiches, little sandwiches, and a ton of yummy dessert. i loved everything i tried and i thought it was such a unique experience! the service was amazing too!

Crystal S.

Yelp
I was invited for a birthday brunch to the Tea Room, and wow the Homestead area still amazes me. The area around the Tea Room is so tropical, artsy, and nostalgic. It's worth getting to the restaurant early just to explore a bit. While the food is not going to be the best you've ever had, most likely you would go for the aesthetics of the restaurant. I did like my food, but for homestead the prices aren't cheap. I wish the quality could justify the prices a bit more. Do not expect a normal 1.5-2 hour brunch. The wait for the food was definitely outrageous, it's apparent that they are not prepared to service the amount of people who they seat. I thought that maybe it was a covid thing, but from looking at the reviews it's pretty common. Come for the high tea, that's 100% worth it. Otherwise I'd stick to your normal brunch spot.

Mel E.

Yelp
Absolutely loved it! We had a great time! We were greeted by Vivian, who sat us in a nice table with the amazing Zulma, as our server. The food, the flavors and portions were amazing. It was a lot to take in and a refreshing place to visit and support. I had the crab Benedict and green tea. Also tried the egg salad sandwiches and that was delicious. We all enjoyed our dishes and can't wait to return. Enjoy!

Joanna V.

Yelp
The Tea Room at Cauley Square is really a full experience. The decor is a nod to what they do best, their Tea Service. While inside, it genuinely feels like you are at someone's grandma's house. We were a party of 8 with 2 babies, and they accommodated us well for lunch. The service was stellar. The food was great and at decent prices for the quality.

Alexandra C.

Yelp
Food was okay. They have a really cute tea party concept but this place needs a deep clean and a make over. Service was good, feels like a mom and pop diner. The outdoor area on a nice day is great for kids and after you can walk the grounds where you will find a paved pathway leading to other shops and restaurants.

Hannah B.

Yelp
I called to make a reservation for Sunday yesterday and was told by the host and manager a table would be available for me and my family with a table of 9 as one is a toddler and I understood they had a max of 8 tables. The owner of the place Francesca is giving me a hard time with the reservation. The final email I received was today stating they only had available for a table of 7. She was very rude to me cutting me off while I tried to speak and I got upset while talking to them as they wouldn't listen to what I was saying. I appreciate the staff for trying to accommodate my family and especially the manager but the owner is very rude and needs to communicate better with her staff if she's going to reiterate something to me completely different than what her staff was telling me. Especially given the fact this is located here in Florida and the number she called me from is a New York number

Jyoshin S.

Yelp
Cauley Waitress was super friendly and was very helpful doing our first time visiting. Although she did not have all the answers I believe it was because she was new. Great staff and excellent food.

Barbie T.

Yelp
Lovely location, lovely establishment! Service is Wonderful. The selections of teas are vast! There is sure to be one to your liking, whether you drink it hot or cold. For example, the spice tea is not spicy at all, it is refreshing and wonderful whether you drink it hot or cold! They also have regular soft drinks or coffee if you prefer to drink that instead. But I was the saying goes when in Rome do as the Romans do! In other words, when you are at the Tea Room, be sure to taste a sip of tea! Can't say I've had a bad meal there. The selections are delicious and the presentation of the food is beautiful! As are the selections of tea pots, tea sets, some of which are for sale! This is a great place also to have a birthday, bridal shower or even a baby shower. They have ample room in the back and everything is decorated beautifully, even the ladies bathroom! Whether you live in South Florida, or are visiting South Florida, be sure to stop in at the Tea Room you will not be disappointed!

JoAnn A.

Yelp
A definite hidden gem amidst Miami's overly trendy restaurant scene. The menu is good for brunch or for comfort food. The ambiance is the best part. A definite unexpected and charming place to dine or enjoy an afternoon tea.

Helena A.

Yelp
We spent a recent Saturday wandering the beautiful gardens and spaces and having lunch here. We were there for a lot more time than expected. Although covering the outside canopied gardens and walkways was a nice relief from the hustle and bustle of south Florida, most of our time was spent waiting for our table and our food. We also had a few mishaps, warm Prosecco, several menu options not available, waiting a long time for condiments and giving up on getting them. I do have to say that the tea I ordered, Berry Herbal tea, was delicious! The Tea Room was not prepared to receive the amount of people ready to be out and about. They had several wedding showers booked and a huge amount of visitors. They were very understaffed and this staff was not handling it well. Hopefully they'll be able to get more help soon.

Hancel D.

Yelp
Delicious food, the ambiance was phenomenal it felt like you were eating inside a doll house almost. They sold cute little trinkets and necklaces as well. The food was really yummy as well. The service was good as well, it is just a little pricey but well worth the experience.

Leonarda D.

Yelp
AMAZING! I recommend everything there Cauley Square is a magical place! Paradi Love the Tea Room

Seidette B.

Yelp
Luv this this place. It's quaint and cozy . Perfect place to meet up with old friends sit for hours and feels like your in someone's home rather than a restaurant.

Rhea B.

Yelp
the best non kept secret in Goulds! the best motha frick fracking French toast and house potatoes this side of the Mississippi. I mean made with pure intention to make you come back. and it's not expensive and you get a wonderful experience with it if you stop in! check them out! they have really good everything else and they're spacious for tea parties and filled with so many teapots and cups. you'd def enjoy them

Lauren C.

Yelp
Crab Cake Benedict... eggs were hard boiled. Everything else was great. We got magicienne tea, and country fried steak which husband said was good.

Yelp
i took my mother here on mother's day and what can i say this place is GREAT. it is so beautiful and classy. my mother and me LOVE themed places and boy is this place beautiful. the food took a while to come but this just gave us more time to talk and take in the beautiful room. when the food came, we were so pleasantly surprised. the food felt healthy and delicious, i ordered the bagel, salmon salad and the pesto, brie sandwich. super good and gave us energy to explore the area. great place to eat and then explore after. P.S check out the perfumery nearby after a great meal, the perfumery is amazing their shea cream makes you smell like a treat and smooths the skin so well!

Yelp
Wow finally I made it to the tea room in Cowley Square. The best part of it is that I went with my friends to this beautiful and cozy place in Cowley Square. We spent hours here and we had a great time, delicious food, wonderful tea, and surrounded by this amazing decoration. I honestly loved my sandwich baguette filled with brie cheese and prosciutto. It came with home fries and they were seasoned the way I love! The tea was spectacular as the taste matched the aroma. What I love the most was the inside decoration of this charming please, with beautiful Tea cups all different as well as their chairs and tables. You can find seating inside or outside and I cannot wait to go back!

Yelp
The Tea Room at Cauley Square, is a cute little restaurant. There are a lot of displays of antique teapots or little nik naks. Part of the restaurant kind of resembles an antique Victorian era tea room in a way. It also looks like many many years ago it was a house. Anyways, once my family and I stepped in we didn't know if we picked our seat or we waited for the hostess??? After waiting and asking someone one, finally someone came and sat us down. Going through the menu, there were lots of options. There was a tea menu, a food menu, and another menu with today's special. We ordered the chai pumpkin latte, Monte Cristo sándwich, Cranberry Turkey Brie wrap, home fries was our sides, and chicken tenders with fries. Out of everything we ordered the least favorite of what we liked was the home fries. It wasn't what we were envisioning. Since the potatoes were cut into thin slices some were very hard. It was like biting into a hard thick potato chip. The best thing we tried was the Monte Cristo sándwich and the chai pumpkin latte. The sándwich is like a Club sandwich but the bread is french toast and between was ham and turkey. Expect this sandwich to be huge and filling. I could not eat all of it. I also had to break it down between the slices they gave us cause couldn't take a bite into it lol. The sandwich was part sweet cause I'd the French toast and part salty cause of the ham and turkey that was in it. The pumpkin latte was delish, it wasn't spicy at all from the chai (which so was afraid of) or had a strong pumpkin spice taste to it. The cranberry turkey sandwich was good, sweet and tasty. The chicken tenders are just your standard kids chicken tenders nothing special, it's for kids. Over all it was a very cute restaurant. If you have never been to Cauley Square, this would be a cute little spot to get a quick bite or have a tea time experience.

Yelp
We celebrated my mom's birthday this weekend. The restaurant is quaint and very interesting, the staff is friendly and most importantly, the food is delicious. The food is fresh and comes in big portions, also the presentation is beautiful.
