Reverie is the first Brooklyn venture of City Group Hospitality. It's also uniquely different from its sister restaurants as it pulls inspiration from a broader reach and not just one region our cuisine. The food at Reviere was exceptional. I was highly impressed at the plant forward recipes. The menu blends unique ingredients into flavorful, elevated dishes, with several meat substitute options for those looking.
I started with the Confit of Leeks while my friend had the Charred Eggplant both were delicious and unique.
The Citrus Beet Salad was my entrée, and it was bright and refreshing with a mix of mandarin, grapefruit, beets, cheese, and nuts. For dessert, I had the Chocolate Hazelnut Cake, which tasted like a luxe Ferrero Rocher... it was so good! I paired it with an Ube Latte, and the combo was perfect.
Also, i highly recommend the Sunbeam cocktail; it's like an adult creamsicle and pure sunshine in a glass.
I'm so glad one of Guy Vaknin's restaurants is now in Brooklyn, in the old Terms of Endearment space. The vibe may have changed, but it still honors the vegan community. I'm already planning my next visit!
