"A restaurant with a relaxed ambience and a sustainable ethos where the menu changes almost daily depending on what’s available from the island’s small-scale producers. The cuisine here is prepared without chemicals or additives, and is based around zero-mile ingredients and zero waste. Chef David Rivas, who enjoys explaining and adding the finishing touches to dishes at your table, champions market-inspired cuisine with a strong focus on the grill on an à la carte and two tasting menus (Omakase and 1/2 Omakase). A small selection of daily specials is also an option." - Michelin Inspector

The 17 Best Mallorca Restaurants | Eater

"Born in Isla de Margarita in the Venezuelan Caribbean, chef David Rivas worked in Barcelona, Oslo, and Hong Kong before settling in Mallorca. These days, he can be found in his rustic-chic restaurant Terrae, set in the idyllic seaside town of Port de Pollença. A mix of foraged and locally sourced ingredients form avant-garde dishes like marinated squid with fennel and parsley mayo; leek croquettes in cauliflower cream; and French toast with marinated fruit and goat cheese foam. Absolutely incredible experience at Terrae. In fact my wife we and I went two days in a row we enjoyed the first night so much. Incredible attention to detail with every dish and being able to sample local ingredients from the island made our experience extra special. A mention needs to be made to the cocktails which were outstanding as well. We will be back again.

Went there last night for the 8 course omakase (90 euros) with wine pairing (48 euros) with 9 guests. The menu was amazing! Everything was a surprise with local flairs, flavors, and ingredients, including the alcohol. Both the waiters and sommelier were fantastic in explaining the dishes and we had a fantastic time. The pace of the food was good, as was the order, the textures, and flavours. Would highly recommend making reservations and will come back!! 😍

We ordered the 1/2 Omakase menu with lamb, as well as the tacos. It was an extraordinary culinary experience. The service was excellent, too.

Our dinner at Terrae was truly a unique experience. Everything—from the menu to the atmosphere to the staff—was perfect and full of surprises. It was not just one of the best dinner experience we had during our vacation in Spain, but truly one of the best we’ve ever had in our lives. We would return to Pollença just for another evening at Terrae!

We recently visited Terrae Restaurant and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The ambiance was charming, and the staff were exceptionally friendly, making us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. One thing to note is that the appetizer courses are served to share. While this wasn’t a big issue for us, it’s something to keep in mind, as we know some people who might not appreciate this style of serving. The food was good, though there is some room for improvement. The fish course was absolutely delicious—definitely a highlight of the meal. However, the steak was a bit of a disappointment. It was cooked through, which made us wonder if this was the chef’s intention. Unfortunately, we weren’t asked how we would like it cooked, and for a restaurant of this, this oversight would be quite surprising. Additionally, we had to wait about 30 minutes for our first course, which felt quite long, especially when you’re hungry. That said, the timing of the remaining courses was much better. In summary, Terrae is a nice, albeit somewhat pricey, restaurant. We had a good evening—nothing more, nothing less. To make it a great experience, be sure to specify how you like your meat cooked, and it can turn out to be a well-rounded dining experience. Thank you for a pleasant vacation evening
