Cozy Thai restaurant with super flavorful drunken noodles. The crispy tofu and the crispy chive cakes are to die for with a great texture that you would enjoy. The chicken satay, however, was dry and not well seasoned so wouldn’t recommend that.

The food was delicious! The Kra Prow Moo Sub was my favorite dish! Also, the server was really nice!

Tried this Thai restaurant in Sunnyside and it didn’t disappoint. The thai fried rice & green curry were flavorful & met my taste expectations. The curry puff had a perfectly flaky crust, & the pumpkin custard dessert was a sweet, satisfying finish. Overall, a good choice for tasty Thai food.

Wonderful service, delicious healthy food & quality ingredients. This hidden gem provides warm bites, good vibes & is very affordable. Seems like there's a lot of take out here but honestly staying inside is such a treat too. It's intimate setting is what makes this place feels like home.

This is Cozy neighborhood Thai restaurant. We rolled up and were the only customers sittimg down on a cold day. The waiter (who I felt was doing triple duty or something) gave us the lowdown on each dish, was very informative and transparent in saying which ones might be too authentic for our (probably Americanized palate) tastes. We appreciate warning but went ahead anyway and honestly felt we made no wrong turns as we enjoyed everything we orderd. Only thing missing for us that might was mango sticky rice but were told its of the menu because it wouldn't taste good in this season (I think). We'll just have to come back again.

Order Thai food from this place through seamless because I was craving Thai food. I saw that the menu had roti massaman and I was hooked because it is always one of my favorite dishes. The sauce was very good and watery with potatoes and onions. Although I wish it had a thicker consistency so then the roti can better grip the sauce. With the watery consistency, the roti is not really drenched well. Other than that I also got the Pad Thai and it was very fulfilling. Very generous with the portions and filled it to the brim. Lots of peanuts and very fresh. Noodles were soft and tender along with the chicken. It's just that this order didn't come with utensils even though I added to the order on Seamless. I guess they forgot it, which was a bummer. Also the plastic bag that came with the food smelled very horribly like cigarette odor. I think it was the delivery man who smoked and left his second hand odor on the bag. Also this place was up in Sunnyside, which was far away from me. I live in Williamsburg and luckily the food arrived within an hour which was pretty okay timing for me.

Went in for lunch. I had the shrimp spicy flat noodle and eggplant spicy salad. The taste was perfect, not too plain nor too spicy. Glad to have enjoyed my lunch.

The food here is incredible and comes at a reasonable price. I had khao soi with vegetables and a vegetarian duck salad. The khao soi was warm and comforting, with the perfect texture to the noodles. The salad was absolutely the star of the show though. The mock duck was crispy but soft; the sauce was sweet, sour, and herbaceous; and there were lots of great toppings to add texture and freshness. This was totally worth the trip!

Place is pretty cheap. Ordered takeout and they are very cheap with their portions. it's disrespectful.

Thai American fusion restaurant. It is hard to get exactly what we want when you don't have so much of choices. We tried to get some food that is not a mainline in the menu. They also ran out of sour pork sausage, so we got Thai sweet sausage fried rice instead. Beef ND soup is water-down as we thought. We also have chive pancake, steamed Thai dumpling and shrimp roll. All those appetizers, my friend order because she wasn't satisfied with the noodles. Waitress seemed to have lack of Thai food knowledge. In my opinion, they will survive in the area if they don't have more competition. Non- Thai will be ok with the food but in the future when the city expand, it needs to be improved in the order to remain open.

I got a BOGO deal from Uber Eats for a Chicken Pad Thai, and since I haven't tried Thai Diva Cuisine, I decided to check it out. It only took about 15 minutes for my order of 2 Chicken Pad Thai $16 plus tax. Pad Thai was good and plentiful. Unfortunately, there was no lime in each order. I'd definitely take advantage of BOGO deal again.

Solid thai food place located in sunnyside, I tried my friend's pad thai and it was delicious! I got the spicy basil fried rice with chicken, and a thai iced tea. Everything was so yummy! Affordably priced, delicious, and great service, will have to come back again for their lunch specials. Taste: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 (standard mom and pop place, decor is like hole in the wall and local)

Got delivery and tried their khao soi as well as their yellow curry and some soup, all of it was very bland and flavorless Did not enjoy this meal and felt like it was a real waste of money. Pretty disappointed and would not recommend.

Fool me twice, shame on me. So much for no (pea)nut(s) November. In all seriousness, to all my fellow peeps allergic to peanuts, stay golden pony boy (& avoid this place)... Unfortunately, this is the second time this has happened to me at the hands of Thai Diva. And it's sad because I truly enjoyed coming here and never ran into this issue before, but for me safety and to save me temporary hunger when I can't eat this.............I shall not be back (said in the terminator's voice).

Came here during lunch time on a Sunday and can tell they mostly get delivery or takeout. Their phone kept on ringing. It isn't a huge restaurant, but a small one which made it feel homey. Their service was a bit lacking so that's why I gave them four stars. Glad that their lunch menu is still valid on a weekend so the price point was great. I got the drunken noodles + thai iced tea which was yummy. Along with the meal came an appetizer which would've costed extra if it was ordered separately. All in all wish it had more spice to it, but the hot sauce did well. I would like to return again during lunch time to try another dish for the same price.

Full disclosure : I've only ordered delivery from this place and not tried any entrees that don't travel well. No opinion on ambiance or service, other than every time I order regardless of day or time it arrives in 30-45 minutes and 90% of the time under 30. So far everything I've ordered has been very good. I've had almost all the veg and protein apps, and a number of entrees. Except tofu. The least favorite app is the crab rangoon, but hey, it's a matter of opinion as they aren't horrible. Steamed broccoli, curry puffs, shrimp roll, chicken satay, crispy wings, dumplings fried and steamed, app platter, spring rolls - I've had them all with few exceptions. No disappointments for a take out Thai joint. I've had the soups and salads, mango, papaya, crispy duck, grilled beef, and most of all the curries, duck, pad thai, drunken noodle, and the Kao Soi (one of my favorites), spicy U-Don noodle (my other fav), and again, no disappointments. They've even sent the fried egg on some dishes separately as my spouse is allergic. Aside from Sriphahapai (a bit far for me), this place is awesome to have in the neighborhood. I don't give five stars to anybody unless they blow my socks off, but this place is very good. Hope it continues and doesn't fall into the trap all eateries do - great for the first couple of years and then downhill from there. Consistency is a deal breaker for me. So far they are the best Thai food in Sunnyside, hands down.

Just ubered their tasteless pad see ew and I was very disappointed the lack of noodles for one and the pork belly that was obviously unseasoned bland as well as the broccoli was very bland. This is perfect if you're on a diet but this is not what I was going for the only thing that saved this was the tie iced tea with the ice cream that was delicious and that was the only thing that was delicious ‍

I really like this spot. The pineapple fried rice and basil fried rice are my favorite. The pad si ew is really good as well. I've always ordered delivery so not sure how the service is in person.

It becomes difficult at some point to find a standout in the Thai-centric hood of Woodside / Sunnyside, but one of the hood's relative newcomers has been earning accolades in the hearts of hungry Thai lovers borough wide. Hardly as vain as its namesake, Thai Diva has done a solid job in presenting classic dishes for the masses and striking a chord with its growing fanbase. Thai Diva is one of the smallest restaurants in the neighborhood. They'd be lucky to seat more than 5 parties at a time and as a result, TD probably does quite well with delivery / takeout more than dining in. I would caution any large group from dining here unless they either call in ahead of time or be willing to wait a long time. Food wise, Thai Diva is excellent. From soups to noodles to traditional dishes, they pack flavor and are solid portion wise. Of the noodle dishes, their pad see yu is a favorite, along with their penang / massaman curry. Their tom yum might be the best in 10 blocks in any direction, which says a lot considering how much Thai competition there is. Their specials are written along an overhead chalkboard, which is mostly legible but sometimes difficult to read from various angles. While their spring roll is essentially a Vietnamese goi cuon (summer roll), it serves as a tasty appetizer. The corn fritters look great in photos, but was somewhat mediocre and needed a lot of sauce to get down. Like any good gringo Thai fare enthusiast, I wash it all down with a sugary Thai iced tea. The people behind the counter are super friendly and are efficient when handling orders. If there was a knock on TD, it would be the prices. Sunnyside / Woodside isn't a cheap place to live anymore, but they've created a standard for $10+ dishes when everything was still in the sub $8-9 range. The food is good, so ones does get what they pay for.

Food: 4/5 Ordered chicken pad thai and a coconut soup for delivery. I was surprised with how good everything tasted. It came loaded with peanuts, bean sprouts and chicken! Very generous portion of everything -not just noodles! It was sweet, sour and savory all in one dish. The coconut soup was also very delicious. The broth was thick and creamy. It came with a very generous amount of chicken and mushrooms inside. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone craving Thai food. There's a lot of Thai food options in this area but this one is definitely worth trying! Delivery: 4/5 Took a bit long but delivery came within the expected time frame. I think they advertised about an hour delivery.

Used to be my go to spot. I ordered last night and asked for spicy chili paste on the side of my pad see ew. They mixed in the paste instead and it was SO SPICY. Chili seeds everywhere. I couldn't eat it and had to throw it out. My fiancé got the pad kee mao as usual. It was insanely spicy. He loves heat but had to drink water multiple times and couldn't finish his dish. Won't be ordering again. Truly disappointing.

I've only ordered in but the food has been consistently fresh and delicious. Plus my husband says they have the best pad thai he's ever had.

Had a delicious pad Thai at Thai Diva! It was very authentic and extremely filling, leaving me super satisfied. The restaurant itself is quite small but super cozy for a date night. Will definitely be returning!

Got my order in 20mins but the food was ok. The Pad See Ew with chicken were delicious . Downsides , i also ordered the Pad Thai that was too dry and flavorless as well as, the jasmine rice .

I usually order delivery from here but decided go for lunch with a friend. I decided to try the Tom yum fried rice instead of my usual pad see eew. It was delicious but I think I will stick with my usual next time. The thing that got me was the Thai iced tea. It got ridiculously expensive(at all thai restaurants) but if you go the restaurant, it's cheaper because it comes with their lunch special. Hence I will be eating here instead of ordering delivery.

Super disappointed. Not good Thai food. The green curry chicken was watery and bland. The "spring rolls" were some mess of a bunch of wilted lettuce, some fried tofu ?i guess? some mystery brown sauce. Big thumbs down on this one.

With the taste and presentation of their dishes they might as well be selling takeout. Needless to say, the atmosphere still looks like they are back in 2020, with a table blocking off the walkway. The restaurant needs to do a best job of making their guests feel welcome and at making easier to order a dish that we tried in our travels that they might have under a different name. And please stop selling frozen fried calamari. I imagen they are serving their khao soi on a plastic take away tray

Had a pretty solid experience ordering takeout from here. Ended up ordering the red curry with tofu and it was ready within 10 minutes, which is much less than what Seamless estimates it at. I was a fan of the red curry. Wasn't overbearingly spicy and - unlike some thai places - getting the tofu option also provides you with ample vegetables. The addition of eggplant, carrots, and the green beans adds texture to the curry. Additionally, the portion size was more than plenty for a leftover meal. At $12, you can't go wrong with 2 days worth of meals.

The best khao soi I've ever had anywhere! And I've had khao soi in Chiang Mai, Elmhurst...you name it. Thai Diva's is the best...anywhere!!

Tried this place at the Thai Food Festival in NY today. We ordered the Yum Nam Khao Tod and the Khanom Jeen Nam Ngiao. Both $8 here at the tent. So yummy and I hate pork. I don't normally eat it. I made an exception for today. The Khao Tod had "soured" pork, ginger, peanuts, onion, fresh cilantro, crispy curry rice, and a chili lime dressing. You can taste the fresh ginger and fresh cilantro. Rice was perfectly crispy. Peanuts add a nice crunch too. The Jeen Nam Ngiao was delicious too (I like this one more); it contained rice vermicelli that was cooked perfect, tomato sauce with ground pork, mung bean sprouts, onion, and fresh cilantro. Little bit of heat. Fast and friendly service here too.

Well, I have discovered another Sunnyside gem! I ordered delivery last night from Thai Diva's website (recommended because all other sites mark up the prices significantly). The order took about 40 mins to be delivered (estimated was 40-50 min wait) and it was still hot; surprising considering it was 10 degrees. I ordered: Massaman Curry Chicken: Amazing! Loaded with chicken Coconut Soup (Tom Kah): Tasty and filled with chicken/vegetables, but beware, it was very acidic. Amazing reheated the next day. Crispy Chive Pancake: Very tasty Crispy Fried Tofu: Just okay, sauce was mediocre. Not recommended if taking out. Overall, the delivery service was quite fast and the food was very tasty. I would love to eat in the restaurant next time and try some different items.

Newly opened Thai restaurant in the heart of Sunnyside. I called ahead to make sure they have other dishes that doesn't contain any peanuts. We were so lucky to find parking right in front of the restaurant. It's a small setting with a few tables but good thing there are cushioned seats. The server was going to seat us in a two seater which was a tight space to the family that was already dining there so I suggested the corner booth table for us. We flipped through the menu and glanced quickly as we were starving after a long day at the beach earlier. Drink: me: Thai Iced Tea: very yummy and sweet Appetizer (shared): Crispy Calamari with Sweet Chili Sauce (Small) absolutely no peanuts thank you very much Crispy Mummy Shrimp with Sweet Chili Sauce (Small) - this one was pretty unique with the delicious crispy noodles mummified the shrimp lol...definitely a must try Entree: Andrea G: Pad SEE-EW with Shrimp - I usually go for the Pad SEE-EW but went with something different me: Drunken Noodle with Crispy Pork Belly...my dish took a bit to come to our table as the server was explaining that the pork belly has to be cut up and fried then sautéed into the noodles. Mmmmm I really love the pork belly in my noodle dish a lot but too bad I was super stuffed from the appetizers. Overall it was a very yummy spot so please give it a try if you are a Thai food lover =P

Here are the dishes I would recommend at Thai Diva Cuisine: 1) Khao Soi. My brother said it tasted just like the ones he had in Northern Thailand, so I was really happy I got to try it. This mildly spicy noodles was quite a treat. 2) Papaya Salad / Larb Salad. I love these refreshing salads, and the portions are generous. 3) Wok-style fried sole fish. we had it with spicy eggplant, and we all thought the fried sole fish was great. Lastly, if you like spicy food, you can ask for some chili flakes.

This place was okay, but nothing that wowed me. I appreciate that the restaurant was open on a very cold day (below 20 degrees) and not to mention it was snowing the day before. I had the vegetable drunken noodle and a side appetizer of fried calamari (small). The drunken noodle was decent and the portions were very large (only $9 too). The calamari tasted generic (it was kind of a little hard too) but you get a lot for $5. I would say if quantity and price is a big deal for you, this is a good place to eat. In terms of quality, it doesn't quite compare to the other Thai places I've tried.

Authentic flavors at a genuinely modest price! And they deliver quickly across a large swath of LIC, Astoria & Sunnyside without the typical markup fee... what a find! I want to dine-in sometime. This place is a keeper.

Review for Creamy Tom Yum soup only: 1) soup isn't creamy enough 2) no kaffir lime leaf or lemongrass 3) only has a bunch of slimy CANNED mushrooms (not fresh) and some coriander/ scallion in the soup 4) needs far more vegetables - otherwise there is nothing much else in the soup for $10 5) only five Pieces of medium shrimp in the large soup is not enough I ate with the steamed noodles which were actually boiled rice flat noodles - they were good but had a chemical bitter taste

Still consistent with our favorites. Taste like authentic Thai. The host/owner/ chef is my person iv met in hospitality and iv been in the business for 14 years.

Lunch specials are available until 3:30pm for $9. It includes your choice of main dish (noodles, curries, or rice dishes) and two appetizers (soup or salad and a spring roll). The lunch deal is a great value and the food is good, but not the best in the area. The credit card minimum is $10.

I normally order from this place and their food is usually pretty good....however this evening I cannot tell you how upset I am with not only the delivery but how my food was packed. I ordered a Green Curry dinner and the bag was soaked with liquid because the delivery guy was careless. Not only did I have to wait one 1 hour and 10 minutes for my food (when promised 35-40 min) but basically to have my dinner ruined infuriates me. My rice, chopsticks, everything soaked. I've gone here many times. This will be the last time.

I love their Thai basil and drunken noodle, I'd walk a mile just to get take out from this place. However, I tried something new today and ... found this little bug sitting I'm in my salad. It's gross and unfortunate because I love Thai diva.

This is our favorite restaurant to order from! We are so lucky that we live next to this place. My fiancé and I love to pick up our regular orders for dinner and the portion sizes are great that I can sometimes stretch it to two meals. My favorite order is the khao soi! The soup is so warm and yummy. It's a bit spicy but nothing a side of milk or thai tea can't handle. The soft noodles pair with the flavors perfectly as well as the crunchy noodle toppings. My only thing would be to order it without chicken just because I'm not big on chicken but my fiancé ends up putting it in his dish instead since chicken is extra for his. He likes to order pad see ew. My fiancé loves it and we would order here every week. We don't even change our order because we're so satisfied with our meals every time. Maybe we'll try the other dishes in the future!

I ordered from here via postmates during the snowstorm a few days ago. I was happy to find this place open and even happier to read they had a lunch special. Ordered the red curry (chicken) with rice and that came with a soup and vegetable roll. I thought this was a great deal for the 10 or 12 dollars I paid (don't remember off the top of my head). This place is just a few blocks away from me, but when the food arrived it was cold. I understand this may have been because of the postmate and not the restaurant but it set up an unhappy experience. The curry was alright, pretty standard but it was pretty much only vegetable - there was like a sprinkling, if you will, of chicken. The pics you see on Yelp here from inside dining are so misleading - there was the tiniest serving of rice in this miniature takeout box. My hand could hold more rice. The veggie roll was also super mini - which was so misleading and not only that, it was burnt. The soup was fine, I'll give them that - but come on, that's vegetables and water. I wasn't even super mad about the portion or the not greatly prepared food because I have some GI issues and only eat a small bit anyway, but if you're thinking the lunch special/ lunch combo is gonna be this amazing bargain - just think twice. I was so excited for this meal and I don't think I'd personally be returning.

I'm writing this because I've ordered from them since they opened and loved it. It's still pretty good, but either new chefs or new owners because the food is now prepared differently and not for the better unfortunately.

Probably the best Thai restaurant in the neighborhood. Wish they were closer to me or I'd order from them more often (usually order from Vera Thai as it's closer to me). Their food is great and has a very flavorful taste. Aside from the regular Thai specialties (Massaman curry, pad Thai, etc), this restaurant also has northern style dishes that aren't available at other Thai restaurants. Unfortunately I didn't see any outdoor dining but they do take orders and food is prepared fast and on time! All in all, great little restaurant with the authentic flavors of Northern Thailand!

We have ordered from here a few times the past year, and did so again this Friday. The delivery took longer than expected and yelps estimate was off by a solid 20 minutes. But that was he only negative thing I had to say. I ordered the chicken drunken noodles which was excellent. I went extra spicy and they delivered. I love when Thai food is so hot you can barely eat it. I don't know why but it was perfect. Only weird thing was on the noodle dishes there was no option to add beef as the protein through yelp. Since we couldn't order beef drunken noodles, my wife ordered the Garlic Sauce with Beef for $2 extra. That was delicious as well. Good amounts of broccoli and pint of rice included. We also had spring rolls and chicken wings as an app which were solid. We were very happy with the taste and quality of the food. Only wish the ordering process was updated to change to beef on noodle dishes and wish the delivery would've been within the estimated window.

The lunch special was perfect. I loved the pad see ew with the vegetarian duck the scallion pancake appetizer and green ice tea.

The restaurant itself is located within the block. There's street parking available but the area I pretty busy! Also, there's a Peruvian restaurant right next door. This place has about 14 seats so it's not suitable for groups unless you're going on a weekday/ off-peak hours. I came on a Thursday night and there were more pick-up orders than dine-in. I got the drunken noodles with shrimp. There was sooooo much shrimp and vegetables in this dish! The noodles were soooo spicy and delicious. I loved it. . Sooo much flavor mmmmm My friend got the pad see ew with chicken. This too had lots of flavor but was more on the sweet side. The tom yum soup .. delicious ! And spicy! The fried wontons were always so gooooood. Def worth trying ! Authentic Thai food !

My husband and I stopped in last night for dinner and this little spot is such a delight! Not only was the food amazing but they have excellent service. Our waiter was so attentive and provided extra napkins before we could even ask for them. For the appetizer we decided to try the 6 piece mummy Shrimp and it was so delicious! The Shrimp were bigger than expected so the 3 piece would've been good enough for the both of us. We also had the pad see ew and pineapple fried rice and both were amazing! We will definitely be back!
