Yelp
SO MUCH FOOD!!! It was an endless and delicious buffet of authentic Thai cuisine... made with vegan/vegetarian ingredients! As Thai is what I've missed the most since going plant-based, this restaurant really came as a blessing; all the familiar flavors, served up on gleaming platters topped with tofu and substitute meat. It was the perfect birthday dinner.
The only drawbacks were that the the spring rolls were a bit bland and all the "meat" has about the same texture, but these cons pale in comparison to the sheer amount of mouth-watering dishes, brought out to us at a lightning-fast pace by the sweetest waitress; shoutout to her and to the kitchen (especially since we spilled out water not once, but twice; my dad and I have the same clumsy habits unfortunately). The pad thai was just as good as I expected, the firecracker balls were the perfect amount of spicy and crunchy, the satay chicken had the most flavorful peanut sauce I've ever tasted, and the vindaloo curry was pure bliss, with fresh and flaky roti to dip into it. That, and the spicy catfish (crispy, SO flavorful), were my favorite dishes. All of these I would order again and again.
We tried three desserts: the fried banana and ice cream (please try these if you've never had them; they're at most Thai restaurants and have been one of my favorite desserts since childhood), the crepe (tasty), and the mango sticky rice (which, I've said before and I'll say it again, is one of the best desserts ever; and this one didn't disappoint!). If I had to pick one of the desserts, though, I'd pick the fried banana with ice cream; the mix of warm, sweet, crispy bananas and cold, creamy, smooth coconut ice cream is just *chef's kiss*.
