"Thai Phooket might not look like much from the outside, but this old-school restaurant serves up some of Nashville’s best Thai food. And while Thai food might not be what fans typically associate with game day dining, it is the closest option to the Titans’ game-day headquarters." - Delia Jo Ramsey

PLEASE READ!! NEW OWNERS! GOOOD NEWS!!! This is the old THAI PHOO KET in a NEW location! (Note: Still has old king Siam sign currently!) Which is GREAT NEWS because its the same family/owners that had the shack at the location downtown across the river on woodland st that burned down.. Was one of my favorite Thai places back in the day. Same family, same authentic quality!! So happy to have this back in Nashville and even closer to me now.

Google
found this place on Yelp, it's most reviewed and top rated in Nashville, TN for thai food. There is a fine line between good and authentic good. This place is good, but not authentic, I don't see what the rave is about. I can find better Thai food in Jackson, MS and it's actually a Thai fusion restaurant. AtThai Phooket. If u want Americanized good fusion Thai be my guest.

Really great Thai food!! I loved everything that I ate, but would recommend the steamed dumplings especially. The outside of the place looks a bit deceiving, because the inside is quite nice and the food excellent! The Pad Thai, Massaman Curry, wonton soup, appetizer combo was all very good. Loved the Satay Chicken! Also ordered to go and it was ready before they said it would be. Very fast!

Delicious food and attentive service at a reasonable price. We ordered crispy tofu and fried eggplant as starters, and eggless pad thai with tofu. All were delicious and very filling. We were particularly impressed because when we ordered mango sticky rice, our server (presumably one of the owners) disclosed that mangos were not in season and we're quite hard, so he wouldn't want to serve us mango sticky rice that woukd not be up to par with their standards. We were impressed by and thankful for the frankness, especially since I've been craving mango sticky rice for months now.

I have been to a few Thai places but after coming here twice I have to say it is one of the best Thai places I have been to. I have sampled multiple curries and noodle dishes, and everything has outstanding flavor! The service has been great and I look forward to coming back and trying more of the vast menu. I have no doubt I will enjoy whatever I order based on the flavor thus far. Do yourself a favor and ignore the run down appearance of the place and get some badass food NOW! Edit: had to drop a star because the consistency has been off the last few times I went there, along with a big snafu on my order. Just keep in mind the star heat rating may not be at all what you are expecting... I have ordered 2 star several times and it was usually not very hot, but enough that it helped. Last 2 times I went it was the heat of 5 star one time, and no spice at all the next. Keep that in mind.

Now in the former location of King Siam. Service was fast. Food was good. Lots of vegetables in the fried rice. Not a fan of the plastic tablecloths. Other than that recommended.

I always enjoy this place. Haven't gotten something here yet that I've not liked. Got the drunken noodles this time, but I also thoroughly enjoy their Rama. Close enough to downtown Nashville to fit into an hour lunch break, and yet far enough away to have more than enough free parking space. Got lunch here today with my wife and we both left satisfied and ready to get to slee-- I mean work.

Very very good food. It's exceptional. Very fresh. Good location, but the restaurant needs remodeling though from the inside out. Came here in the winter. It was freezing inside.

Yelp
so happy thai phooket is back! i was shocked to learn of its rebirth in a new location when going to king siam but was happy to learn of the return. the tom kha coconut soup is delish, pad thai unbeatable, and our waitress was incredibly kind and attentive. it has a completely different vibe inside compared to the goodlettsville/OG downtown location, but i love it all just the same. can't wait to return!

Yelp
Great to see the old woodland street location come back to this address! Superb authentic Thai... New owners, but same owners as the original on woodland. Come see for yourself. Old school Nashville reboot!

Yelp
Sunday evening dine in - not busy at all. My friend and I had a quiet booth- server was fine with checking in on us. The Thai Tea had a unique flavor but I like it! My pineapple fried rice was very good- I get no spice. Nice menu options- we will return!

Yelp
It's back - and better than ever. Like a phoenix that has risen from the ashes, moved across the river, the food we know and love from Thai phooket is back and better than ever. Eating here is a joy and I plan to come here weekly. Great service and familiar ambiance. Cheers!

Yelp
Happy to welcome Thai Phooket back to Nashville!!! I am so happy for the owners as I missed this place terribly since it closed on Woodland. Cody has been the kindest person every time I come in and I'm always greeted like family. The Pad Thai hasn't changed a bit and still holds up as some of the best in the city. This the perfect ambiance for both lunch with coworkers and dinner with family. Come see them! Quickly!!!

Yelp
I hate to give this place only 3 stars! Some things are so good, but several things could really be better: Great: Pad woon sen was really good. I also tried the pad woon sen salad, and the sauce in that was really good. Not good: The *beef* in the pad woon sen salad was really not good. I had a rice dish, and the rice bordered on being over cooked/wet-ish. I also got the chicken egg rolls, and they were greasy inside! I've tried this place a couple of times and keep coming back, so I obviously like it. I hope they fix these problems! Great service btw.
