"In Hong Kong, people line up for hours just to get a taste of the best clay pot rice in town, a rice-based casserole with various toppings and crunchy socarrat-like bottom. You don’t have to travel far for it; this unassuming establishment does the dish so well that it captures the flavor and texture of the dish, with a massive selection of toppings to pick from." - Erika Adams, Valerie Li Stack, Eater Staff

Barely able to finish, curry tastes like watery soup. Tom yum soup is tasteless. Just take a look at that tomato slice, you can tell how much effort they put it in. Yeah, toddler can cut it better. Feel like a Thai food express and, everything could be made under 10mins. Somehow we waited for 30 minutes for this. Very unpleasant experience on the food side. Take a look at the pad Thai! Dry and flavorless. We ordered everything with Thai spicy level 35 somehow taste like 0! If this is indeed the best Thai restaurant in Denver, as some of the reviews suggest, then Denver certainly deserves a better option!

Google
Loved grabbing a bite here the server was attentive, kind, and personable. Service was quick and the food was bomb! We arrived right before the rush at around 5- 5:30 pm, but the place was packed by the time we left. Highly recommend the Spring rolls and fried tofu! Great deco such a unique spot! Will hopefully stop by again sometime soon.

I have eaten many lunches here, and I just keep coming back. Their regular lunch special is perfect for me. I enjoy an appetizer while waiting for my main dish, which is often drunken noodles. I love their crab rangoons for my starter, and I often enjoy a Thai ice tea. Located on busy Colorado Blvd in a commercial strip center, the non-descript exterior hides the delicious food and nice atmosphere inside.

Google
It’s about time I wrote this place a nice review! Thai Pot Cafe is my go to spot for Thai food in Denver!! The service is always super quick and the staff are extremely friendly. The food is obviously fantastic and if you’re eating inside. Their restaurant is nicer than most Thai restaurants you’ll visit. Fantastic atmosphere, phenomenal food, and great people! -Sean

I’ve been to hundreds of Thai restaurants and Thai Pot Cafe is my favorite. I’ve been coming here since 2017, and can’t speak highly enough of the food or the staff. I think they make all of these better than ANYWHERE: Pad Thai, panang curry, drunken noodles, and tom kha soup. Also great: thai pot special, tom yum soup, crab rangoon, egg rolls. I’ve never had anything bad here. Their lunch special is awesome too, you get an appetizer and entree for $13.95, for 2025 prices that’s a great deal.

Located at 1350 S Colorado Blvd #191, Thai Pot Cafe has become my go-to spot for authentic Thai cuisine. The menu is extensive, with clear indications for vegan and vegetarian options, making it easy to find something that suits my preferences. The green curry and tofu spring rolls are particularly noteworthy, delivering fresh and authentic flavors. The ambiance is cozy, adorned with unique decor like umbrellas hanging from the ceiling, creating a pleasant dining atmosphere. The staff is friendly and attentive, contributing to an overall enjoyable experience. One unique aspect of Thai Pot Cafe is their customizable spice levels, allowing diners to choose their preferred heat intensity, which adds a personalized touch to each meal. However, one minor quibble: during peak hours, the restaurant can become quite busy, leading to potential wait times and slightly slower service. Despite this minor inconvenience, the quality of the food and the welcoming environment make Thai Pot Cafe a worthwhile visit for anyone craving authentic Thai cuisine!

The food was delicious, hot and spicy. We ordered the Pad Thai and the red curry. It was a little dead even though it was lunch time.

Google
Sad to say, pretty disappointed with this restaurant. The prices are pretty steep ($18/dish for the entrees you see pictured) for the quality and quantity you receive. The “spice levels” are very misleading. Even for someone like me, who has a low tolerance for spice, the “American spicy 4” was without any discernible spice. Why would you scare your customers by have a scale 1-7ish of “American spice” and then say something like “20 thai spice, 40 thai spice”? That turns people away from otherwise enjoying your great flavors. The service was fine, just broken up since they had lots of customers. The tofu was too thickly breaded to be 5 stars, and the dipping sauce barely had any peanuts which is a major L in our opinions. What an easy way you could’ve spruced up the appetizer, and you dropped the ball :/ We won’t return because we were unimpressed with the flavors and quantity:price ratios.

Yelp
Needed someplace to go for dinner on Christmas Day because neither my husband and I wanted to cook and the kids didn't come to visit for the holiday- so Thai Pot Cafe was open!! Yes! If you love noodles this is the spot to get them from!!! Spicy and what I found out is that they make the wide noodles in house!!! You can not beat that!! They put jalapeños peppers and spouts in them to give them a kick for sure! Only thing I wish is that they had mushrooms and I could add shrimp to my dish. . Neither here nor there I love those noodles! I also ordered an appetizer the shrimp wrap but hmmm I would not recommend that - no flavor at all and it looked intense. My husband ordered something that looked like it came out of an alien movie but the shrimp In the dish was great so he gave me a piece of his shrimp. My mother in law ordered the fish...hmm she didn't like it because it was really spicy and chewy.. My brother in law ordered an amazing iced chai coffee!!!! Delicious!! Not sure what his meal was but he ate it all! If you looking for fresh drunken noodles Thai pot is the place to go! If you want carry out order early!

Yelp
Plenty of parking. Nice touch of umbrellas on the ceiling. Service was good. Food was on slightly higher side but this seems to be trend on most of Thai restaurants. The sampler platter was ok. So was my Kang Keow Waan (green currie). Tom Yom soup was ok. Nothing really stood out. Maybe I was too afraid of their spicy levels? Everything i ordered was on mild side. My friend ordered fried rice which was good. Repeat

Yelp
Met up with some cousins here for dinner on a Wednesday night around 6pm. We were seated quickly and the place was pretty busy. What we swallowed: *TOM KHA: This was watery. OK flavor. *BASIL CHICKEN: This was pretty good *PAD SEE EWE WITH BEEF: This was the best dish out of everything we ordered. Flavorful. Delicious *PAD THAI: good flavor *RED CURRY: Why was it yellow? *PENANG CURRY: Yellow curry that tasted just like "red" yellow curry. It didn't have that distinct 'penang' taste, just plain curry. *GLASS NOODLE SALAD: Refreshing and tasty We ordered a lot of dishes and I would say they were all decent. Not sure why the red curry was yellow and my penang curry just tasted like curry, not that distinct penang taste. Our server was nice but we all agreed this place was a hard decent.

Derrick S.

Yelp
Had dinner here with my mom and little brother after some shopping! Great ambiance, amazing service. Attentive, quick, clean location! Our server kept checking in on us making sure everything was to our liking. Food was amazing! Definitely will be my main spot when I visit from Florida for some Thai.

Jeni P.

Yelp
The lunch menu had a good variety of food to select from. I ordered a small pad Thai from the lunch menu and it was a good portion and delicious. The customer service was great.

Yelp
This is my favorite Thai spot in Denver. They have fantastic allergen labeling (especially for gluten free and vegan/ vegetarians) and can make almost anything vegan or gluten free. They even offer their gluten free food on an orange plate for visual confirmation that the kitchen prepares it safely for you! This is absolutely appreciated and so comforting when you just want to dig into your food. As far as the rest of their food it is very well prepared, with a great range of spice options (I order a 20 for a mild/medium flavor), tons of dish options, and an amazing vegan Thai tea option! The service is always above and beyond and this is the only Thai place that I can find that is consistently top notch. If you are weary of fish sauce I recommend mentioning that or asking for your dishes vegan as some of the salads have it. The drunken noodles and their peanut sauce for their spring rolls are my favorite things. They use a coconut base and it is so creamy and flavorful. My only critique is that I think for $7 the spring roll app should come with more than 1 spring roll. When you're done eating walk over to yomie or drive to mango mango for a dessert near by!!

Alexanria J.

Yelp
Clean modern vibe restaurant with a bit of traditional Thai touch of deco. One of my favorite Thai restaurants in Denver. Strongly recommend Thai iced coffee for sweetened coffee. Pad Thai wonsen and coconut curry is delicious. Great service

Kimber H.

Yelp
Best Thai restaurant in all of Denver for 2 reasons: their Thai iced tea that is served with real cream and their Pad See Ew. To be fair, all of their other dishes curries, fried rice, and salads are phenomenal, but the pad see ew just hits the spot.

Nick B.

Yelp
I come for the pine apple curry and the drunken noodles regularly. Both are superb. Quick, quality food and fantastic service every time. Great mellow vibe... Love this place!

Sm B.

Yelp
Yum!! I go here weekly and love this place. Great food and service. Never disappointed and always a great experience. The spring rolls are super fresh...best in Denver. :)

Sandy W.

Yelp
Hair in food and server will tell you "no one in the kitchen has long enough hair. It's yours".

Ann P.

Yelp
The food and the staff were amazing. I will definitely be going back soon! Is a small space and was busy on a Friday night but, the service was fast.

Rachel C.

Yelp
DELICIOUS!!! The food is very flavorful and the serving sizes are perfect. I was skeptical about ordering the fried rice, but even the fried rice had booming flavor. We got the Drunken Noodles and the Pad Thai as well, both super flavorful and addictive. The ambiance is very traditional yet modern? Very warm and comfortable. The service was average but good. The only thing that is keeping me from ordering frequently is the PRICING. It is expensive. Three dishes and Rangoons + standard tip came out to $80!!!! Very pricy. Overall a very enjoyable and tasty experience.

L. C.

Yelp
Always amazing! Green curry and pad see ew are favorites. I love the addition of outdoor seating.

Michael C.

Yelp
Best Thai in Denver. Service is always quick and very nice people working there. Great lunch menu.

Anurag T.

Yelp
Overall (A-) It's a decent place - check it out Service (A+) Excellent customer service. The staff was super polite and friendly. They quickly took my order, answered all my questions, provided a recommendation and quickly brought my food out. It was super fast. Best service. They got my appetizer out and then a few minutes later my meal. Best customer service Food (A-) I got the large squid pad Thai - American 5 level spice and crab rangoon. Both were good. Crab Rangoon had some crab but mostly cream cheese and the sauce with it was really good. The squid pad Thai was decent also. This is a safe bet Thai place. My sense is that all the items will be pretty good but not the best I have ever had. Value (B) It was $14.99 for the large lunch order. I was expecting more food. Not quite sure what a regular order would have been but I know I would not have been full. Added squid which was another $4. With tip and tax it was around $26. A bit pricey in my opinion. Check this place out - it's a safe bet Thai place and everyone will be happy.

Yelp
Tonight we were supposed to celebrate something very special that happened in our lives, but were immediately let down upon arrival. Mostly, we are disappointed with their inability to provide a safe space for handlers and their service dogs. Management was dismissive and unempathetic, lacking the necessary understanding and support required to ensure a welcoming and inclusive environment. This experience highlights the need for improved training and awareness regarding service animals and the rights of their handlers. We will not be returning as it made us question their credibility in other aspects as well. https://www.ada.gov/resources/service-animals-faqs/

Yelp
2nd time here - I cant with being told to leave because they have customers waiting. No matter how good the food is - I wont give my money to a place that has the nerve to make a customer feel like they have overstayed their welcome, especially since we were there for a working lunch. Wont return here.

Yelp
Was in the mood for some delicious Thai food and this restaurant was suggested by a friend - so decided to swing by and check this location out! We arrived on a Wednesday at 12:30pm and had no wait time to get seated - we picked outdoor seats since the weather was nice that day. The restaurant had a pretty nice ambience both inside and out - it is located in a shopping/restaurant plaza with various other restaurants in nearby vicinity, and there are like 4 outside tables that seat 2 that could be pushed together to seat 4. Definitely gives a cozy feeling no matter the option you pick! I got the lunch special, which included the a small appetizer (in my case I got a soup) + the entree, which I'll review down below: Chicken and Rice Soup: For the lunch special you get a choice between: 2 Crab Rangoons, 1 Egg Roll, a Salad, or the soup of the day - with the soup of the day when I went being Chicken and Rice. This soup was delicious! The chicken was really tender and made for good texture difference between the rice and the soup, the rice was soft and had a good chew (not too chewy or hard, which is great!). The soup had a good clean flavor, seasoned well with subtle chicken flavor - I enjoyed it! Pad Thai: I got the large size pad thai for an extra $2 and my friend got the regular pad thai - personally I couldn't really tell a big difference between the sizes other than a bit more noodles I think - but that's just my perspective. There is a spice ranking from 1-35 (35 being extra Thai Spicy!), I picked 15, which was slightly above Thai mild because I don't have a personal reference for Thai level spice, I also got beef as my protein. The flavors definitely itch that craving for Pad thai really well - the flavors are sweet, spicy, and sour after the addition of the lime. The noodles were chewy and the beansprouts give a great refreshing taste to the overall dish, and the beef was tender and really soaked up the sauce well! The textures in the dish had all the elements I personally look for in a pad thai, and this was definitely a delicious plate that I would order again! Overall, I spent about $15 for the lunch special, which I thought was a pretty good price! The flavors were definitely delicious and the value was good relative to the food you get, and I would like to revisit to try the other options in the menu! I would totally recommend you come and give Thai Pot Cafe a try! (4.5 stars!)

Yelp
Thai food is my favorite. I've tried many dishes and haven't ever disliked a Thai dish, but drunken noodles are definitely my favorite. That being said, I had the BEST drunken noodles I've ever had today at Thai Pot Cafe! The lunch special was a great deal, served weekdays 11-3 and around $14 for an appetizer and entree that was more than enough food and I didn't even get the "bigger" portion for $1 more. For the app I got the Tom Yum soup and it was so balanced and tasty, one of the best I've ever had. The mushrooms and tomatoes and chicken all worked so well together in the slightly spicy/sour soup. For the entree the drunken noodles CRUSHED IT! I've tried this dish at every Thai restaurant I've eaten at and this was the best. Hands down. I got it with chicken and at a spice level of "Thai medium" and it was PERFECT! Def spicy but not overpowering. I asked my server what I should order since I'm used to a 1-5 scale and order a 4 and she recommended Thai medium and it was the right amount for a spice addicted eater like me I also tried the Thai Basin martini that had St Germain, gin, lemon, and Thai basil in it. The menu said to ask for it spicy (which I, of course, did) and it was one of the best cocktails ive had in awhile. I'm only in town for a week but I will definitely be coming back before I leave! Also the restaurant is cute AF and the service was great. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, I couldn't have asked for a better lunch.

Yelp
I always look forward to my trips to Denver because it means I can visit Thai Pot Cafe. They have a great selection of vegan options, and the food is consistently delicious. I started with the Fresh Spring Roll Tofu as an appetizer, which had a satisfying crunch and came with a ridiculously good peanut sauce. For my main course, I had the vegan version of Pa Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles) with tofu. The portion was generous, the sauce was flavorful without being overpowering, and the noodles had a nice texture. Although I would have liked more Thai basil, the dish was still enjoyable. I couldn't resist trying the Mango & Sticky Rice dessert, which was a delightful in-house-made treat. Overall, my family and I had a great dining experience at Thai Pot Cafe, even though it was a bit pricey. It's definitely worth a visit.

Kiran F.

Yelp
NATALIE is such an amazing server! She had the most wonderful energy and made us feel so welcomed at the restaurant. She also answered all our questions and helped us decide on which dishes to order! Tom yum soup and vegetable stir fry were amazing!! And please order the ginger tea here! Absolutely delicious!

Alexandra M.

Yelp
First time trying Thai Pot Cafe. Potstickers tasted store bought/frozen. Crab rangoons were pretty good.. pad woodsen was the closest thing to Thai they had on the menu. The service wasn't very welcoming and we felt rushed. Had to flag waiters down a few times.

Alice C.

Yelp
I always love trying new Thai places.... Thai pot has been here for awhile now. They are a solid and consistent Thai place with descent prices. We came here for lunch, you get a choose of a soup, salad, egg roll, or cheese wonton to start with. I love that addition with so many choices. I ordered the drunken noodles. I loved that they added eggplant to the drunken noodles. I was a good filling size also. Fair warning Thai hot is super spicy so make sure you can handle spice if you order it Thai hot.

Cherry J.

Yelp
We've been going to Thai Pot Cafe for years, both dine in and order out. The food is delicious. This week we ordered for pick up. The portions were tiny and the prices have gone up a lot. Here's a picture of the $18 Thai Basil chicken with a chapstick for scale. This is before we opened it. Our entrees were $18 each, the egg rolls were small, and our total bill with tip for this pick up order was really high. We did not have enough food.

Matt R.

Yelp
Food was great and tasted fine. Had the ( Lad Na) but it was served in a soup dish with lots of the sauce. More like a bowl. Have never had it this way even when mom made it (born and raised in Bangkok area). I liked the flavors. Will definitely come back if I am in the area.

Wendy W.

Yelp
I have always loved this place but not anymore. The food is good (not exceptional) and a bit overpriced. The service is usually very good but tonight they asked us to leave literally one minute after we paid. There was one table waiting --one table. I would understand if we had been hanging out for 10-15 minutes but it was 60 seconds after I paid. It's sad because they lost a lifelong customer. Just really rude. If you want to go, maybe try a weeknight.

Katherine R.

Yelp
Great food, and amazing service. Thai curry and appetizer plate with a sampling was really goood

Hutch Y.

Yelp
I've gone twice now for their lunch special, and I've been very pleased. I would say the heat in the 0-7 range is pretty tame, but I do like a bit of heat.

Annie B.

Yelp
Such a nice surprise. This place was crazy good. We went in as apposed to ordering and maybe that made all of the difference because everything was just perfectly flaky hot and delicious. The sauces were so good. Very fresh. Service was excellent. As far as the interior it was also great, not like a 5 star restaurant but comfortable and very clean always works for me.

Alicia R.

Yelp
Love Thai Pot, never disappointed with them. I'm big on heat so I order a level 80, yes 8 0 lol. They're always surprised by this, but their Thai hot does nothing for me. I've done the level 100 That pot challenge. It's very hot but delicious. But I will admit too spicy to truly enjoy, 80 is perfect! I always get the Pad Woonsen with chicken, it's amazing. I'd say all their food likely is.

Hanh P.

Yelp
I have been eating at Thai Pot foreverrrrrr. Even before the move. The management change and move was what revamped this classic Thai spot into a great hip yet authentic restaurant. Denver needs more Thai cuisine. I love coming here because the food is excellent, they can make alterations for gluten free and vegetarians and the service is the best. I occasionally come here with vegetarians and the flavor is definitely different but still very good. I love that no matter how busy they are... they treat you so kindly. I have never had bad service, sometimes you go to places and it depends on the server but here it seems standard that you receive genuine care. This place is a gem and is sure to be around for decades to come. Butttttt... came in for a take out order during COVID... asked very extra spice... tipped 20% because I feel bad for restaurant workers... she said we already got spice. Pointed out a tiny packet she gave us. I wanted extra and she didn't give it to me. Why???? 5 star to 3 star. Sad.

Julia L.

Yelp
Thai Pot Cafe is officially my favorite Thai restaurant in the Denver area! For quick reference: My favorite dishes here are the Lad Na, Pad Thai, and Red Curry! The environment is wonderful--friendly staff, chatty and lively ambience, and beautiful interior. The food is FANTASTIC. Every dish I have tried here has been mind-boggling delicious. The Pad Thai is a basic, yet delicious, dish to choose if you haven't had a lot of Thai food before or if you just love this classic noodle dish. Their peanut sauce and rice noodles was flavorful and great texture. The red curry (or any of the curries really) is also a go-to choice of mine. I'm a big Thai curry lover and out of all the curries I've tried, TPC ranks my favorite so far. Lastly, you've got to try the Lad Na! If you've never had (or heard of) this dish, it's under the 'noodles' category and has a sweet and sour soupy, gravy consistency that tops wide rice noodles, a mixture of vegetables, and protein of choice (I got chicken). So hearty, flavorful, and chewy!

Suanna G.

Yelp
We called in an order tonight and the woman who answered the phone was extremely rude and abrupt with us. Then on top of it, the food sucked. We ordered a variety of dishes and only one is slightly edible. Extremely disappointed considering each dish was close to 20 dollars.

Sarah W.

Yelp
Incredible food and incredible service! Their drunken noodles, crab rangoon, and spring rolls are amazing!

Robyn K.

Yelp
I asked for GF drunken noodles, as I heard this place was good from a group I'm in. It was awful! Food had NO taste, no noodles, and no sauce. I called and they asked me to send a pic. Here it is! Absolutely disgusting! Save your money...wish I had!

Rui T.

Yelp
Delicious curries and noodle dishes. Cute decor inside. Nothing wrong and nothing amazing. Great go to Thai place in Denver

Deb W.

Yelp
We had take out. The food - all vegan - was excellent. Drunken Noodles, Pad Thai, and Rama with Peanut Sauce. We've been here many times in the past and it has been great.

Jeetendra S.

Yelp
This place is in good lactation, but their service is very very bad. Specially their servers they don't even know how to talk. Very tough and no manners! I almost walked out from the restaurant but I was very very hungry so I had to eat.!! No more going back to this place!!! I will put zero marks for this particular place!!!

J L.

Yelp
Amazing food wonderful service. We order for take out often but dine in is great as well. Best Thai spot we've found

Hanan G.

Yelp
Food is awesome, service is awesome atmosphere is awesome To the Owner,,, some advice,,, I give you three stars after saying everything is great bc this is what happened. I sit down @ 2:40pm, and with no warning, after ordering, I'm told you CLOSE at 3pm. SeERIOUSLY !! Why don't you close at 2:30pm and keep your mouth closed till everyone is done eating !!!! 'Instead you tell me, 'you have a little time to eat ' !! Not a smart thing to say or to conduct business.

Olivia H.

Yelp
Love the food, love the service, hate the serving sizes for the price. Most other local Thai places give a lot more for slightly cheaper.

Claudio A.

Yelp
Food was tasty, yet the quantity was very little for a $20 dish with a really small portion of rice.

Rachel G.

Yelp
We love Thai Pot! The wait staff is always friendly even when they are busy. The various choices of spice level is great for everyone. And the flavors are amazing! The Tom Kha soup is my favorite.

P C.

Yelp
The food (drunken Noodles) was the best I have ever had. This place did not disappoint. I will definitely be back the next time we visit Denver.

Maria D.

Yelp
Very good food and excellent service. Beautiful decoration of the restaurant, don't forget to check the ceiling.

Ashley G.

Yelp
This was really tasty Thai food that we would try again. I gave it 4 stars because it's kind of pricey for Thai, but given the area it's in, the price point make sense. Also, the 7 isn't that spicy. If you like spice, be a risk taker and try it spicer

Grace C.

Yelp
Service was pretty fair. The green curry and tom yum were really delicious but the pad Thai noodles were overcooked and mushy. Overall no real complaints. We will be back!

David R.

Yelp
Good food and service. Reasonably priced wine and beer. But, be careful of the "spiciness" ratings. Back off some from what you would normally order.
