I was taking an evening stroll in the neighborhood and noticed something new in the spot where Café Birdie used to be, so I popped in to check it out.
The dimly lit ambience emits a warm & welcoming vibe. If you're looking for a romantic date spot. This is it. It's also a great place to hang out with friends or just chill on your own, which is what I did.
Same owner different - different concept. With Café Birdie the emphasis was on food. However, The Arroyo Club focuses on delivering the ultimate craft cocktail experience in a lounge style setting. The background music is relaxing and the bartenders are personable and friendly.
The food menu is simple. A Burger, Impossible Burger, Grilled Cheese, Fries, & tots. What you're here for are the exquisite cocktails (or mocktails) and the ambience. I arrived during happy hour. The fancy cocktails are not part of the happy hour specials, but margaritas are and that was what I was in the mood for. I love a good craft margarita and this one was perfect. It was nicely balanced and very tasty. Austin, the bartender, was an absolute doll. I'll be honest, I really wasn't a fan of Café Birdie, but The Arroyo Club is definitely my jam!
