Our Girls Grub Out group decided to visit one of the newest restaurants during spring break in The Woodlands, The Audrey, named after the iconic actress Audrey Hepburn. This restaurant is in the Market Street area with a renovated Reel Luxury Cinemas that has a boutique dine in attached. What an exquisite creation.
The restaurant is very welcoming with black and white pictures of iconic female actresses and singers displayed throughout the restaurant. The furniture décor was done in good taste with plush seating, upholstered flower designed chairs, silk cushioning, leather chairs, and crush velvet seating booths with classy table tops. The chandeliers from the ceiling are gorgeous and very relaxing to the eye.
The Audrey offers elegant dining with brunch, lunch, dinner, dessert, and cocktail menus. Our group attended during the lunch time which the menu was offered through 2:30 pm. Our waitress, Victoria, was very accommodating. Part of the group enjoyed the Audrey Burger which consisted of wagyu, white American cheese, butter lettuce, tomato, onion, and dill pickle along with a basket of delectable French fries. A few of the girls and myself had the Ora King Salmon that came with Boursin mashed potatoes and broccolini. Very inviting to the palate and scrumptious. For dessert there was the Audrey's Chocolate Layer Cake which consisted of dark chocolate drip and sugar pearls, the Mascarpone Cheesecake with sweet Italian cream, raspberry sorbet, and I had the Coffee in the Clouds which was an innovation of Kahlua, Tito's, Haagen-Dazs ice cream, and liqueur. All the flavors were unique and quite complimentary.
Be prepared to spend a few bucks more than your ordinary restaurant. Not only are you paying for the culinary delights, but also the ambience which was just as pleasing. We made reservations and the arrangement was nicely prepared and ready for us upon arrival. You can also park in the free parking garage on the 3rd floor of the structure, go across through the breezeway and you are right there. It was a unique experience.
