They have a variety of bagels with a pretty large menus. They have good breakfast menu. The place is too small so you cannot dine in. The staff were super friendly. We had a dietary restriction and they have accommodated us. The coffee was not too bad. The food amount was big and filling. If you love bagels, you may want to try it. And yes they have crazy different types of cream cheese to try on your bagel. They also offer sandwiches on rolls and croissants.

Called in an order for the first time ever, hoping this could be my new neighborhood lunch spot. Came in and they overcharged me several dollars because “prices are subject to change”, even though they gave me the paper menu just days before. When I asked if they could honor the original price, they said yes, and then I tapped my phone and paid, just to discover they charged me extra for using a card anyway.. so they acted like they did a nice thing just to scheme me another way. The food might be decent, but they aren’t honest about their prices. Really disappointing.

I went here today (September 10th, 2022). Ordered a Cinnamon Raisin Bagel with Strawberry Cream cheese. The workers and cashier were all welcoming and very nice. Overall, a great experience and definitely a second visit is needed.

They know what they’re doing here!! Can always trust to do it right. I order a lox and cream cheese bagel with less lox because too much is fishy and over powering. They make it perfect and fairly priced.

Way better than bagel factory #2, always more clean and better service. Worth the walk here, because #2 has gone down considerably the last few months. Great bagels and cozy space with a lot more on their menu. Good stuff!

You can skip the long lines at every mainstream popular bagel shop and come here. They do have other things on the menu, but you will regret not purchasing any bagel of your choice. They melt in your mouth.

I am a New Yorker and these bagels are in the top 2 bagels I’ve ever had. The bagels are crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and the cream cheese selection is great. I usually order the everything bagel with jalapeño cream cheese and my boyfriend get the everything with lox spread. It’s his #1 favorite bagel place. Would highly recommend trying them out!

Great assortment of fresh, huge bagels. Good drink Options (even Diet Dr Pepper), plenty of other things to eat and choose from.

The bagels taste like grocery store bagels, super bready, lacking in flavor. Texture wise, they don't have the classic chew a NY bagel should have, nor do they have a good crust. There would basically be no outer crisp if you didn't toast the bagel. The ambiance is basically like a corner deli and there is no place to sit. Not even that cheap either. At least the service was nice, and the coffee was ok.

A good place to get some bagels. Very friendly employees. They have varieties of bagels and cream cheese. If you buy 6 bagels ($9)you get 1 free, and 1 dozen get 3 free. I got different types of bagels and they were all excellent .

Great fresh bagels. When I get a dz bagels I get 13! I usually get lox w cream cheese cucumber n tomato on everything bagel. Bagels are fresh n if timing is right try to get a hot bagel fresh from the oven, doesn't even needs to be toasted! Staff is always friendly.

I have to write a review after reading the one star MOLDY bagel reviews. THATS NOT MOLD. Apart from being a similar color to mold, there is nothing else about it that would make a person with half a brain think it's mold. Number 1.) the bagels are made fresh daily. Mold takes several days to colonize enough to be seen. These bagels were made a few hours before you got them. NOT MOLD. It's colored dough from rainbow or holiday bagels. The chances of buying a moldy bagel from a bagel shop are ZERO. It doesn't happen. It would take at least a week for mold to grow on regular bread. Number 2.) mold spores from in the air drop onto the SURFACE of breads. It needs to be open bread without a hard crust for mold to properly colonize. It's possible for mold to grow on an unopened bagel, but it will take substantially longer...weeks. ALSO, when you idiots break open the bread and see more green, that's even further evidence it's not mold. Again, mold grows on the surface of bread, not inside it. The spores are in the air. They have no way of burrowing into a bagel. I have had bagels here many time and they are fine. No issues at all. My only complaint is I bought a dozen of everything bagels and ate them daily a few days prior to a drug test. Tested positive for codeine and morphine. So you know the poppy seeds are good! You moldy bagel reviewers made total asses of yourselves by showing you haven't the slightest idea how mold works. Take a microbiology course before you go spewing nonsense. You also made total morons of yourselves by complaining to the health department. They HAVE taken microbiology courses and your complaint went nowhere I can guarantee. Dunces.

This is based on a month ago! I walked in an ordered A whole wheat bagel with w Swiss cheese and Turkey.bacon .. You tell them your order and they make for you in minutes! . I told the cashier my ordered and paid like $6 plus tax . I told the cashier Swiss cheese . But as I got home later I open it up and there was PLAIN AMERICAN CHEESE. So basically I paid extra for cheese I never got. My advice here is to WATCH them make it and then pay for what your getting. Cause they can just add on any price they want . I WONT be back . Cause there system is not on point. . And I've had them before. There bagels are good. But that's it. maybe I tell them I had a plain bagel next time .

Best bagels in the area and super fast delivery. Highly recommend! Egg everything are my favorite. Wish they had blueberry though

In Brooklyn for the month and stopped by here on my walk through the neighborhood and I do not regret it! The vibrant rainbow bagel immediately caught my eye so I had to get it. I got it toasted with some jalapeño cream cheese. Yum! I was also greeted with such friendly and quick service. I will definitely be coming back here.

Whew! I was looking one morning for breakfast and after two closed places on a Monday!, and a bodega with a man who kept making me wait 5 mins and forgetting about me, I stumbled across this place. Fresh bagels and freshly made cream cheese. So, I ordered a pumpernickel bagel with egg and cheese, lettuce and tomato, mayo and oil and vinegar(thank me later). Very fresh, very good. Oh, and of course...scallion cream cheese to take home. Scallion cream cheese amazing. Service is really good and they offer dairy free cream cheese!!

Update: I haven't ordered a bagel from here in years before the other day. When I got home and opened up my food, I noticed I received turkey bacon instead of pork bacon, even though I asked for just plain "bacon." Then, I came back to my review, looked at the photo I shared, and realized I probably have been getting turkey bacon this whole time and must have been too hungry and tired to notice (I previously worked graveyard shifts and would stop in for breakfast after work). Anyway, I understand if the owners choose not to serve pork. However, it would have been nice to be told that they do not serve bacon but could substitute it for turkey bacon.. so that I could have gone elsewhere instead of being surprised and disappointed. Also, it was still as busy as I remembered it being and I did have to wait long for my order.

I used to come here often because I worked at a yoga studio nearby that opened at 6am and this was the only place open, but I don't really like coming here anymore. The breakfast platters are a good price, compared to other diners and delis nearby, and are very filing and satisfying. I recommend their omelets and protein (especially the steak -- it's more of deli meat steak than actual steak) platters. All platters come with a small coffee! However, if I don't have to come here, I won't. Their bacon isn't juicy. I don't think they use pork bacon so I don't actually like getting anything with bacon from here. Their iced coffee tastes a little strange and bland and is 90% ice. But what really drives me away from this place is the workers. As a regular, they shouldn't treat me like trash, but they do. They seem to take extra long to take my order when I come in (sometimes they even take other people before me when I've been standing there for a while) and seem really annoyed too? Maybe I'm taking it too personally, but I'm always really nice because I've been working in customer service for many years too so I if I'm coming over to a place every morning, I want to feel welcome or I'll take my business elsewhere. I don't want to be or spend my money anywhere I'm not welcome, so there's that.

Stopped going here after they started charging a 4% "convenience fee" when using a credit card. Talk about stepping over a dollar to pick up a penny. I've been going here for probably 7 years. It's a shame that owners have no creativity in how to mitigate (not new) overhead costs that come with operating in a 2019 world and simply forward the cost onto the customer. On that principle alone I'm taking my business elsewhere until this policy is reverted. Additionally, the law that governs this type of thing actually requires a business to post the separate "credit card" prices so that it doesn't require any math at the cash register, which they don't do. Btw, I'm a business owner myself and process hundreds of credit card transactions a month and yes, I pay the damn 2.9%+.30 cents for every customer transaction. It's called the cost of doing business and I build it into my operational costs. All you do is hurt your own sales with this unimaginative thinking. Way to ruin a good thing guys! Pull your heads out of the 70s and grow up.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!! I've tried giving this poor excuse of a business multiple chances and they continue to disappoint - I guess it's on me now. How does a business stay in business when they serve MOLD on their food. Pictures attached. Tried speaking to a manager and they actually wanted us to bring the food in and prove it. So we did. We were given a great deal of attitude and was treated poorly even in person. I took it a step further and reported them to Department of Health. Let's see how long this poor excuse of a business stays in business.

Great bagels and cream cheese selection. Best in the nearby area. Other bagel stores offer the same quality of bagels but this place always has pumpernickel and pumpernickel everything bagels which many other places don't carry. They never skimp on cream cheese so the people that mention it must be catching them in a rush or something. It's never happened to me here. Their bagel sandwiches are good too. I've only ever had the breakfast platter (which is cheaper if you come in than ordering it via a service) and their turkey cobb wrap. I'll continue to go here as it's a great local bagel spot and I haven't discovered a better one.

The bagels are mediocre and can't compete with some of the other spots in Park Slope. I had an egg bagel with sun-dried tomato cream cheese. The bagel didn't seem fresh and I didn't like the flavor of the cream cheese. They did appear to have a decent selection of cream cheese flavors. The store is small and several tables take up most of the space. This makes it difficult to maneuver, especially if there's a line.

This place is simply best in Park Slope. Friendly service. Delicious bagels and quick!!

The lady Victoria was super rude to me yesterday. I've been a valuable customer of this place for 2+ years and was happy about this place. However, now it's a nightmare to go there. I bought bagels on Friday and they instead of toasting them, they burned them. I couldn't eat and had to put in trash all three bagels with lox spread. The next day I went there again and this Victoria starting speaking behind my back in Spanish which is totally disrespectful. She asked to weight the lox spread container three times and was super angry and treated me poorly. I mentioned that my bagels were burned the day before and she didn't even apologize. She charged me $1 more because she seemed to be a cashier who doesn't know prices. I asked for the correction and she wasn't happy at all. She didn't admit her mistake and continue commenting in Spanish. Terrible place!

These bagels are phenomenal. They are fresh and delicious. I had a toasted bagel which had a perfect crispy outside with a nice fluffy middle. The balance between the two textures was spot on. The operation there was very efficient and effective. Everyone working there knew their role and did it well. Everything looked clean. This place is definitely worth your time.

Let's start out with the not-so-great: the space is small, and there aren't many tables, so don't 100% plan on eating in during peak times. It gets crowded fast. Parking can also be a bit tricky if you drive- taking the R to prospect is probably a much better bet. Lastly, sometimes the toaster kind of burns the outside edges of the bagels- NBD, but if it has something like an everything bagel on the outside, those toppings will also suffer. (This isn't an every time thing though.) That all said- they have darn good bagels at very good prices. They also have a very reasonably priced lox bagel with all the requisite parts (onion, tomato, capers) for about $9- The cheapest I know of anywhere around here. They also offer a good selection of Sweet and savory cream cheeses- some places seem to do too many of either one or the other. Since my SO likes savory cream cheese and I like sweet, this place can always please us both.

i just moved in down the street and i love the bagel factory! their bacon egg & cheese saved my life after a 10k in the park and it just saved me again this morning after a long night out. the everything bagels are just perfect. and the guys that work there are so nice - 10/10 every time!

Love their selection of bagels and cream cheese but every time I've gone my bagel order was wrong! It's always either the wrong bagel or the wrong cream cheese - which wouldn't be as bad if certain cream cheeses didn't cost more! Giving them 4 stars though for the taste and the amazing iced coffee

ZERO STARS. I order from this place almost every day and I've always had a pretty mediocre experience. Not bad, not great. Just... average, which is whatever. For the sake of convenience, I don't mind. One time I ordered a strawberry parfait, and it came in with MOLD in it. The blackberries and strawberries had mold growing and it was all over the yogurt. -a refund was issued. It took me years to order anything from them again. After years I have it another shot. Maybe they changed owners or something cause it wasn't TERRIBLE. Like I said before, mediocre at best. Today, I ordered two bacon egg and cheese sandwiches and BOTH came in with MOLD in them. I called back Bagel Factory to let them know about the rotting food they just delivered to me. The first man I spoke to literally said "we don't have mold, we have garlic, whole wheat, rasin..." assuming there's a bit of a language barrier, I went ahead and proceeded to speak in Spanish (my native language, so I'm fluent, and they're Spanish speakers as well) the man hands off the phone to his co-worker, who is also NOT the supervisor and proceeds to say the same thing, while calling me a liar and denying everything. I live a few blocks away from the spot so I went over, with moldy bagels in hand, to show them and demand a refund. At this point, I'm so disgusted I have no Interest in ever eating there again. Even though I SHOWED THEM the mold, they kept dismissing it and calling it food coloring from other bagels. To prove my point further, I cracked open one of the bagels, and guess what? MORE MOLD INSIDE OF IT. As I'm showing them this, two of the men behind the counter begin to joke about me while insulting me and calling me stupid In (my native language) Spanish. I got livid and proceeded to speak in Spanish cause they clearly forgot I understand every word of it. They put their "manager" on the phone who thought it would be cool to talk down to me and dismiss my complaint regarding ROTTING FOOD in his establishment. They were refusing a refund so I had to go through Grubhub to get my money back. I'm a cancer patient and I almost ate mold from a Bacon egg and cheese sandwich from bagel factory. I have already reported them to the health department and will never give them my business again. UPDATE: One of the owners Sal called me this morning to apologize, at least that's what I hoped. Instead of an actual apology, he talked over time the entire conversation, justifying the state of their moldy food, which did not sit well with me. He then told me I should go down to his basement to see how their food is made.... let's be very clear about this: as a customer, it is NOT MY RESPONSIBILITY to ensure your food has no mold in it. It is YOUR responsibility to serve clean food to your customers and properly TRAIN YOUR STAFF to act accordingly. Since I've been a customer here I've seen their staff sneeze in their hands and immediately manipulate food (disgusting and dangerous) I've seen them drop their bagels on the floor and placing them right back on their heater (disgusting and dangerous) I've gotten mold in my food before AND I got mold in my food AGAIN yesterday. After complaining the staff had the audacity to insult me in my own language and now I have to deal with Sal talking over me and demanding I go to his basement, which is wildly inappropriate. After I tell him about my interaction with the staff, he defends them, THEN he calls THEM stupid, which is also incredibly unprofessional and wildly inappropriate. My response? It's not my job to inspect your space, but the health department will gladly take care of it. I said it before and I'll say it again, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE. It's disgusting, unsanitary, and the staff on top of being incompetent at their positions, they are incredibly disrespectful. They do not deserve my business or anyone else's.

Pros: * Solid bagels with just the right amount of chewy center and crispy crust * Excellent coffee (I'm a coffee snob, so this means something). * Friendly staff that always greet you with a smile. * Great location right in south slope/greenwood heights. * Small interior with a few tables to sit and dine in or an option to sit at the street-facing window bar. * Decently priced fare. Cons: * The bacon is weird. It's doesn't undulate the way bacon normally does. It's kind of just, flat. It still tastes good, just not crispy. * Iced coffee here is hit or miss, sometimes it's delicious and sometimes it's watery. The hot coffee though is always on point (see Pro Numero Dos).

Holy schmoly, whatta smashing bagel shop! With a killer selection of bagels, flagels, schmagels and schmears* The Bagel Factory is sure to assemble several things to your liking in fantastical portions. Several cream cheese selections to be gawked at and regretted later at the scale, including variations of tofu cream cheese, jalapeno cheddar and more! They also have amazing sandwiches including an eggs, pastrami and cheese sandwich on a bagel (which was my guilty non-kosher pleasure when I was an omnivore and now it's more of a wet dream I have from time to time as a vegetarian...) The staff is probably the greatest and most upbeat group of guys you'll come across (shout out to my man in the Ed Hardy hat serving up these hot toasted halo's of doughboy heaven and the man that keeps it all together, Mohammed!) *I may have made one of these words up.

My family and I have visited this place 2 or 3 times and have always been well satisfied. The entrance is a little awkward for my wheelchair but the staff have always been more than helpful assisting me into the place. The food is very good and a great deal. I look forward to our next visit. Back again. This place is great. They consistently produce great food, they are very nice and accommodating.

I love this bagel shop! Deliciois selection of cream cheeses - pumpkin, blueberry, sun dried tomato, jalapeno cheddar...yum! Lots of bagel flavors too and they're always fresh and full stacked with toppings. The guys are always friendly too.

I ordered a everything bagel with lox spread . What I didn't receive with an everything bagel with lox spread . I received Cream cheese with only a couple pieces of lox.

I love their Bagels here, they are big and delicious. But I have issue with their bacon. When I order bacon egg and cheese or a BLT I expect pork of beef bacon not a turkey bacon without being told about it. Give the customer the choice. If you don't use pork it should be stated. I respect your way of life respect mine.

I've been coming to this place for 12 years ever since I was a little kid, you guys used to be sooo good from food to service! Now... the service is trash and the food is even worse. Last couple times I ordered from you guys when I get the egg and cheese on a bagel toasted, my bagel is BURNT and there is legit ONE slice of cheese not even inside the egg but right on top of the egg and it's absolutely disgusting and tasteless. It's sad to see especially because a couple of years ago your egg and cheese and bagels was the best thing around south slope. Your specialty cream cheeses, now lack filling, OJ expires tomorrow! It's sad to see you guys raise your prices over the years and lower you quality of food and service. Sad to say you guys have officially lost a loyal customer of 12+ years as of today.

I have been a long time reader of YELP and this is my first review. My experience yesterday was so atrocious that I must give The Bagel Factory a single star. Yesterday I ordered through YELP for pick up. I was on my way to work and needed to pick up my wrap and go. When I got to the 17th street location they said they didn't have my order. They quickly realized the order was sent to the 10th street location instead. They told me "we don't deal with YELP". I had already paid for my wrap and after much discussion they got their 10th street delivery guy to bring the wrap over. (This totally conflicted with my original plan to grab and go--I asked if they could refund me? Nope. I asked if they could make me the wrap? Nope. ) so frustrating. So 20 minutes later I left and was late for work. When I bit into my wrap on the subway I had a foreign object in my mouth. It scrapped my mouth. I thought it was a chicken bone. It was a broken top to a plastic squeeze bottle. So gross. So incredibly gross. I am NEVER ordering from this place again. I work in the food industry. I know things happen. But this was a BIG piece of plastic. I also usually would have gone back and given them a chance to make it up to me... But their guest recovery was terrible with my "pick up" order so I am not giving them the benefit of that chance.

The Bagel Factory isn't my #1 bagel joint in the area, but it's a damn good back-up. It's also the closest bagel source to my apartment, if only by a hair. But, hey, when you're hungover trekking outdoors for some morning-after sustenance, every hair counts. The bagels here are medium-to-large in size, a bit flatter and wider in shape, toast well, typically stay fresh thru the standard 24-hour hardening deadline, and other than perhaps lacking a little depth in the taste department, is your regularly satisfying Brooklyn bagel. My biggest gripe used to be that their Everything wasn't fully coated with seeds and such, but rather a sprinkling, which was a pro for those who don't like a garlic-onion breath all day, and a con for shameless slobs such as myself. I'm happy to report they've since stepped up the seed-per-bagel ratio, so I'm back to being the latter these days. The staff is a friendly lot. I say this knowing that when my wife goes in alone, they call her "princess" and more or less openly hit on her. Naturally, if we walk by and we're together, I send her through the doors while I wait outside, since I'm not above selling her out for superior bagel service and maybe an extra in the bag now and again. #couplegoals? Globally speaking, The Bagel Factory makes a pretty great bagel. On a local level, this joint isn't gonna win any Best Bagel in Brooklyn awards, but it's still solid, and I'm still a semi-regular. That just speaks to how spoiled we are 'round these parts, and The Bagel Factory only helps perpetuate the city's stellar bagel reputation.

Something went wrong today. These bagels taste day old. Is it a fluke or is this their standard, we will not be coming back to find out

This is probably one of my favorite spots in Brooklyn, a large variety of cream cheese spreads, this place always has that fresh out of the oven after smell, bagels are crunchy and moist on the inside always fresh always really really good.

I come here whenever I want out meal , they do really good one . Very simple place , workers are always kind , easy go. Try out meal for sure ,100% good.

The bagels are average but my issue here is that they really skimp you on the tofu cream cheese which feels like a waste of my money and makes eating my bagel less enjoyable. If I open my bagel, there's literally only cream cheese on one side of the bagel and personally, that isn't enough for me. My coworker and I got bagels here today and experienced that same issue. My coworker also agrees with me that the Bagel Factory skimps you on the bagel spread. So, when I noticed this to be a trend and I tried ordering extra cream cheese on my bagel but still received the same amount? It feels like i am not getting what I paid and they're not accommodating my request. Overall, their bagels are better than some places but I think that there are tastier bagel places in the area that are more generous with the spread to bagel ratio and are more accommodating to your request.

awesome breakfast right by my apartment in the south slope in Brooklyn. I don't come back to Brooklyn more often than once every month otherwise I would be eating here almost on a daily basis. I get the eggs with hash and they serve it with a bagel and coffee. Awesome. in Fact I like everything here and the staff are very nice. Highly recommended. Wish DC had few places like this

Very small! Very nice staff! Wish I could have had it again! I had a egg sandwich on a everything bagel and my husband actually had a breakfast combo! So many options here! Lots of people in and out so kinda cramped at the tables to eat in, but we did it!

I don't have any idea how I haven't written a review for this place yet. I lived around the corner from here years ago. My roommate was the first one to discovery its existence and said one day when I was probably dying from heat exhaustion in the summer: "THESE ARE THE BEST BAGELS EVER, YOU MUST EAT THESE!" Or something to that extent. So quickly it became a weekend tradition for us to come here and get them. They also remembered me somehow even after I moved away. So Kudos to the super friendly staff. Usually I opt for the egg bagel. Sometimes I will be adventurous and get garlic or cinnamon raisin. I went here a month or two ago while on one of my 'you're starting to get fat maybe you should go on a 50 block walk crawl' and ended up popping in. Oh, how detrimental. Whatever. They have new flavors of cream cheese than they used to have! Flails arms! Flavors ranging from blueberry, strawberry, pumpkin to your traditional scallion, lox spread, vegetable, tofu blends, and then BACON CREAM CHEESE that tastes so smokey and scrumptious, as well as their jalapeno cheddar. I've had several. I think I noticed a pecan or walnut cinnamon blend of some kind even when I went in and wish I recorded photographic evidence of everything. I also wish this place was open late at night. The actual bagel though is where the magic happens. They're different tasting. Both chewy and firm, a little crisp on the outer edges. A little less soft than Windsor Terrace's but way WAY more flavorful. There's magic in their dough that brings tears to the corners of my eyes. This is how the best bagels in the world should taste. I've been a fan for years and can honestly say that Bagel Factory is in my top three of bagel places in all of New York and is highly underrated.

This place should get 5 stars. But here's the thing - they mess up my order all of the time! How hard is it to get 2 or 3 ingredients right on a sandwich? Today I added one item and of course I get home and it's not there. Hey guys, I have an idea, write it down! No one cares that you can do it "from memory". Write it down, get it right.

This location has never let me down, though 10th Street can be a little hit or miss for me. My toasted multi-grain bagel with turkey bacon or olive pimento cream cheese always comes hot and crunchy but not burnt to a crisp. The counter staff is always friendly and things move quickly, even when it's busy. I moved out of the neighborhood recently (someone recommend a decent bagel place in Cobble Hill; they're all terrible!) but I find any excuse to come back whenever I can.

She's not fancy but she's delicious! Well seasoned everything bagels. The chewiest! Great selection of spreads!

I have been coming here since I lived here 10 years ago and it never lets me down. The bagels are fresh and delicious and meet a pretty high standard of what a Brooklyn bagel should be. They also have all of the other fixings including interesting selection of cream cheese like scallions, bacon, veggie and tofu varieties as well. They also have all your standard deli drink options like coconut water and fancy so it is. There are about four tables which are pretty cramped but get you to lie sometimes. I usually get my breakfast to go. I don't think they have too much in the realm of a fancy coffee but you can definitely get your standard coffee here.

Good bagels, lots of specialty cream cheeses, quick service. Great drink selection too. We came here at 8 am on marathon morning, still decked out in pajamas and as he handed me my dozen bagels with assorted cream cheeses and a diet coke I announced to my compadre "now let's go run that marathon!" The staff giggled. The other patrons wanted me out of their way.

Bagel Factory is clean and boasts a good selection. My everything bagel was just ok--not nearly crispy enough albeit fresh. The low fat scallion cream cheese was the perfect accompaniment--light and tasty. Service was very efficient and accommodating to my group's various topping requests.

Good bagel? Yes. Very good bagel? Eh Best bagel? No. You're here because you need breakfast and you got a lot of shit to do. It's a reliable joint and their plates are tasty and cheap at $5. The coffee is your standard bagel shop coffee which is better and less sad than bodega coffee. Service is speedy and friendly.

This gem of a venue is great. All of their sandwiches are delicious, fries are tasty, pancakes are to die for and the workers are super friendly and attentive.

I really don't know how to feel about the bagel factory. They have a nice selection of bagels and spreads, which are pretty good, but their inability to follow directions is frustrating. They mess up delivery every time. So I started ordering online and picking it up-- except for once, they messed that up too. One time they didn't even make my order and said I was mistaken, I must've sent someone out to pick it up (uhm... What?!). I called once and they got it wrong again. So the last two times I decided to order there. They got it right once. I live right around the corner and their bagels are damn good, but I think I may have to try somewhere else in search of accuracy.

POINT BEING: Bagel factory makes it deliciously and socially acceptable to eat bagels whenever you want. Except that it closes daily at 7 pm, so if you really DO want bagels in the evening or at suppertime, be ready to pick things up a little early. I'm a huge sucker for their delivery service because their place is a little small. (Though they do have a couple of tables outside for the spring/summer, which is great!) It can get hectic and crowded very easily and I get flustered in those situations, especially since I usually haven't had my coffee yet (duh, going to Bagel Factory FOR my coffee). Again, I'd like to stress the greatness of their delivery. If you can afford it, do it. Best breakfast delivery I've had, and you can stay in your pajamas even longer! Try anything and everything. Their menu is impressive. I love their breakfast sandwiches (one of my go-to's being swiss, turkey, and egg white on a toasted whole wheat everything bagel), but they also have an extensive selection of lunch and dinner options. Their lunch sandwiches have particularly creative names inspired by New York herself. But also be aware that their online menu (which you can find on Menupages.com) is outdated--not A LOT, but it is. Have second and third choice options just in case. And have cash ready--no credit cards are accepted, boo.
