"This 17th-century ballroom hidden in Holland Park has a faded grandeur that reminds us of the dance hall from Beauty and the Beast. The upstairs dining room is romantic enough for a wedding reception—we’ve seen one held there with our own eyes—which makes it the perfect spot for impressing someone. There’s a grand fireplace and floor-to-ceiling windows where you can see couples strolling through the calm flower garden. The 12/24 offering includes seared scallop and caviar, roasted chateaubriand (fancy French steak) with mushroom risotto, and sticky toffee pudding for $120-per-person - they’ll also include a bottle of champagne in every order for two.
