Where To Get Chinese Delivery And Takeout In NYC

"Whether you’re near Times Square because that’s where you live or because you’re taking artsy photos of the empty streets, you can order lunch or dinner from The Best Sichuan. They’re offering 10% off your order if you go directly through their website here." - hannah albertine, bryan kim

NYC Chinese Food Delivery: Restaurants Still Open During Coronavirus | Eater NY

"The new Sichuan spot near Times Square excels at its chosen cuisine, while adding Chinese-American and other regional flourishes to its menu. Dan dan noodles are spot on, with just the right complement of Sichuan peppercorns, and another star is pickled chiles with marbled beef. The menu is expansive and covers all the meats, including lamb, with many vegetarian options. Portions are profuse. Order online." - Robert Sietsema

We discovered a late-night spot in The Best Sichuan, a cozy spot that saved us from a rumbling stomach when most kitchens were closed. The restaurant was decently filled, but quiet and had an okay ambience. The staff was friendly and welcoming. For the starters, The egg drop soup and pork wantons were average, but the main course : fish filet with tofu and hot sauce chicken were good and spicy. The portion sizes were huge, and the leftovers tasted even better the next day. If you're craving food late at night, The Best Sichuan is a solid option.

Looking for a good review for Sichuan while in midtown, found this spot and decided to try. This place lives up to its name! Fantastic menu you would not see everywhere - great casual vibe, quick and super friendly service, priced right, and exceptional flavors. Ordered spicy green beans that were excellent, dry pepper chicken, and hot garlic pork. All perfect! Will definitely return! For folks looking for the customary American Chinese dishes, you'll definitely find those on the menu, though. There's so much more interesting items to choose from that you just don't see everywhere.

I chose the highest-rated place for lunch—4.7 stars is really impressive. Asian cuisine is especially appreciated in New York, and I’ve visited several spots already and enjoyed them all. I had no doubt this one would be great too. I ordered the duck at its original price, without the lunch discount. Peking duck is a national dish—you’ve got to try it. The picture definitely looked appetizing. However, when the duck arrived, it turned out to be dry, tough, and wind-dried—not very tasty. I also ordered eggplant, but that wasn’t impressive either. It was mildly spicy, but the sauce was oily and bland. I paid just $44 without tip for one person. But honestly, the meal felt like it was worth about $20. Maybe the restaurant should consider hiring a more professional kitchen team.

Best Chinese meal for us this trip to NYC. Ordered the Fried Pork Dumplings (we asked for black vinegar and sliced ginger), Mapo Tofu and Garlic Sauce Pork strips. With steamed rice. Satisfied. Thank you and Good luck.

I only got the spicy beef noodle soup here and it is really good! Very spicy, you get a ton of beef that is super tender, broth is rich, and the noodles are thicker. Not handpulled, but a wide noodle which I personally love so much! I should try other things on the menu, but I loved the dish so much that each time I come back I get the same thing

We in town for the night and really wanted some good Asian food. We found this place and was so glad we did. They were open late night which was perfect. The service was really quick. And the people were helpful. I would def be back to try different things

The dumplings and buns are absolutely incredible when paired with the drinks! The atmosphere is vibrant and gives off great vibes, and you can soak up the buzz from the conversations around you. Overall, it’s definitely the place to be!

Overall, I’d rate this place 9.86/10. The food was amazing and it lives up to the restaurants name. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice, it wasn’t too loud, and the servers were all kind and understanding. We were even offered a larger table when we asked. If you want some spicy and rich food, definitely come here. 9.86/10, would 100% recommend :)
