"We knew we loved The Best Turkish Kebab—a takeaway kebab spot in Stoke Newington—when we spotted a photo of David Schwimmer plastered on its wall of famous fans (along with Ainsley Harriott). That love blossomed from a first-sight flutter into a deep lifelong commitment after we tried the kebabs. Our favourite comes in a soft wrap, is the size of a small toddler’s chunky arm, and is stuffed full of smoky, juicy pieces of charred chicken shish and drizzled with a little hot sauce. We could eat it for lunch every single day. The bright green, herby falafel is a great lighter option. One of the oldest kebab shops, apart from that, it's very average, to which I was disappointed. I ordered Donna wrap, and they are not so generous with the meat but over generous with the salad. At times, I felt like I was having salad wrap, but there was meat at some points of the wrap. Shop is too busy. Maybe they stopped caring as much as they used to,or maybe it's because most of their clientele are too drunk to care.

Don’t bother. Ordered on Uber eats and paid £4.79 for delivery. I asked for lots of chilli sauce and garlic sauce on my Donna, which they didn’t do. Instead they gave a pot of chilli and garlic, which were modest potions at best considering I also bought chips. The chips had a very small potion of chilli and garlic on. If they had chilli or garlic on the menu I would have bought it but they don’t. £20.74 I forked out in total and very disappointed, should have known it always overhyped. The meat was tasty enough but nothing special I’m afraid.

Been coming on and off for years. Twice in the last week and the food is good the lamb is very greasy though, I prefer the chicken. The cost though is a lot, you could sit in almost all of the Turkish restaurants in Dalston for £14.50 and get the same thing I order, it’s to much for a road kebab. I ordered Chicken/ chips / salad today for £14.50 but I had to eat it off an electricity pylon on the street.

Don’t be fooled by its humble interior, this is a staple that will bring joy to your darkest (or most drunken hour) and as someone who has been frequenting for 15 years, I’m an expert. The traditional shish is truly the best in London. If you’re looking for a late night comfort blanket the ‘meat and chips’ is out of this world and will give you enough lining to stave off any hangover. It’s also worth going in, just to see the signed pics on the wall.

Good kebab and really quick service.. Prices are quite high for what you get in my opinion.. The kebab wrap was quite good but nothing outstanding in my opinion.. Chips were quite crunchy and fairly light in comparison to many other shops. Service was so fast I almost didn’t realise to be served!

Ordered larger doner recieved small cheap doner only thing was good was salad didn't offer refund all they said was its large what we sent everyone look at the pictures in which angle does that look like large doner salad was large not the doner waiting for a refund from ubereats and while making a complaint to them they kept taking orders wile I'm on the phone extremely bad manners 0% customer service skills

The best kebab in london! Anyone making reviews based on sauce pot size is an absolute hater. The quality of food here is 5* I’ve been coming here for about 20 years now at least and never had one bad experience. ❤️
