We actually planned for a different brunch but it was too busy, so we decided to visit here. It was prime brunch time and we were slightly in a rush. I called ahead in case and asked how long it may take for them to prepare (luckily within 10mins), and you know it was actually not that busy when we arrived.
We were already annoyed with trying to find street parking around the area (we don't visit Long Beach often lol), but they have their own parking lot shared with Travelodge. Thank goodness. The parking lot is kinda small and it seems like most people parked there are here for the restaurant.
We went to grab and go our order and just ate it in the parking lot haha. My brief look at the inside of the restaurant, there's a good amount of seating here, especially the patio. Inside was more like a diner style, a bit more tight-knit.
We ordered the Eggs Noni (benedict style) and the Eggs N E WAY. Our food wasn't out very long, so we just just got them when they just finished the order. So I opened my eggs noni, but the biscuit on the bottom was so... soggy? It seemed like it got so soggy from the tomatoes, so that was kind of an unappetizing part. It's nice they separated everything else tho, the poached egg and the hollandaise sauce.. even though the benedict was already so soggy lol. I actually got tots as my option, but they gave me a potato pancake instead. Which honestly, the potato pancake was very nice, no regrets on trying. Everything else about this benedict was pretty mid. My bf had the eggs n e way, he said it was pretty standard. Nothing really too special, but also agreed the potato pancake was good haha.
Otherwise, this was a decent backup option if you're looking for brunch. Brunch items were on the higher price for what it is though, but it was alright.
