I actually stoped due to their name. There is a Breakfast Club in Houston that is amazing, so I was intrigued to see if they were connected. They are not but you will enjoy the dining experience. Very congenial staff and the food was very well prepared and tasted like what you would expect from an upscale restaurant. Please give them a try. Great for an intimate experience if you prefer a quaint environment.

This place is small and quaint. Found it on Pinterest doing a quick search of Chicago breakfast spots. The service was good and the people were friendly, however the food, I'll pass. I'm pretty sure that the eggs were the worst I've ever had in my life. I took two bites, and instantly realized that I could not eat them. I mean, how do you mess up scramble eggs. The best part about this restaurant was the Mimosas. I'm pretty sure the bill came to almost $80 for the two of us in all honesty, I could've got an All-star breakfast from Waffle House and been happier. When in Chicago I would not go back.

My home girl and I stumbled upon this place randomly and I done came with two of my other good friends since. The menu has an array of options for anybody. The belleni is absolutely delicious. The staff is super friendly and the food is always prepared well. It's a hidden gem if you ask me.

Kinda like the sequel to the breakfast club except more expensive. Very tasty though. Somewhat hasty, no? Have some ice tea, yo. eyes get misty, so? turning fifty, whoa. looking shifty, go.

My husband and I stayed in Chicago for a night and while looking for places to dine at we came across this place. Located in a quieter neighborhood right on the corner, so it’s really hard to miss. Upon arrival it was sooooo cute! Felt like a Ma & Pop place. Decorated nicely as well. As far as service our waitress was amazing! Top Notch service. Food….. Large portions and taste sooooo good! I cannot get over how delicious it was. I got the corned beef hash and Nutella & Banana French toast. My husband got the stuffed French toast. Unfortunately, he had already started eating before I could snap a photo. 🤣 Let me not forget the Mimosa. It was made perfectly.

We’re from out of town and randomly found this place after passing through Chicago downtown, and it was so good we made it a point to stop for breakfast the next day before we headed home. The stuffed potato pancakes are a must. And I still keep thinking about my chicken sausage brioche sandwich. All fantastic and fantastic staff! Highly recommend.

Food was amazing. Service was a little slow and bland - constantly asking for water. Asked for sauce as well and they never brought it out. I completely understand they were very busy, but if the service was there this place would easily be a 5 star. Again, food is amazing, big portions and price is fair!

Homey vibe with many breakfast options - everything we tried was so good (stuffed French toast, omelette and sandwich). The service was good. They also have outdoor seating, makes it perfect for sunny weekend breakfast.

Came here on a Tuesday morning and it was pretty empty, the food came quick and was yummy. Liked it because you can get a half order of French toast and they also split the sandwich for us. Felt like a local spot where locals met for a coffee or quick breakfast, some people had their laptops open, good atmosphere.

When visiting new cities I love trying new places and this spot was 2 block from our Airbnb. Came here for breakfast and everything went great! When we walked in, it was just so pretty, cute and quaint. This is a place where I can see my girlfriends and I have mimosas and brunch. We were greeted very warmly upon entering and seated right away. Everything we ordered was delicious and our waiter was really helpful answering our questions. Highly recommend if you're in town! Two thumbs up!!

A fun spot for an unassuming (yet, quite tasty) brunch! The restaurant has a clean, neat aesthetic; the restaurant has a cuban flare to the menu and decor. I ordered the chorizo Benedict and a coffee. It was very good. The space has an outside patio for summertime as well.

The servers were really nice and friendly. They were very adaptive of the menu and could easily interchange ingredients. The food came out relatively fast and kept refilling coffee without having to ask. The place is small but has a nice vibe!

Let me tell you...AMAZING! Staff was so sweet, & the food was delicious. Service was fast and great, Carlos the drink server was fast with our mimosas & drinks. Our server Luna was so pleasant and did a great job recommending options. I will definitely be back.

***CASH ONLY*** I almost did not go in because parking is VERY LIMITED. There's a sign on the door that states parking in back but it only can hold 3 cars. Parking around the restaurant is mostly permit parking. The cornbeef hash was good, better than I expected. I added jalapenos. It just needed a bit of seasoning other than that I was impressed especially since it was homemade. The house potatoes were cooked well again just needed a bit of seasoning. The chicken sausage sandwich I was not expecting the chicken to be cut up in the eggs. No big deal. It was good. I would get it again. I just feel it was missing something, perhaps tomato, hot peppers, or green peppers. That's just me. Service was ok nothing to brag about. He came when needed. The restaurant is definitely good for the locals, especially due to the parking It is small. I could hear the ppl 2 tables away from me conversation and they weren't that loud. Although, the food was good. I wouldn't make an extra trip to come here because of the lack of parking. I came here to eat because I was near by.

The order is fulfilled late. It is very noisy for such a place. The workers walk in circles and talk about their own topics. Repair is good. The wait was more than 28 minus all the allotted time!

Our service was wonderful. Food was amazing. They do take cc's now!!! My only complaint was the music was way too loud for me! But I do recommend !

My girlfriends and I have been going to different brunch places over the summer and this place definitely disappointed us. When you walk in you're not even greeted. It wasn't really that busy and they still took forever to attend to us. As we were sitting there one of the waitresses told the waiter "give the back girl another drink" (she said it in Spanish). There were numbers on the tables outside, so saying that comment was unnecessary. She could've told me, "give table number 1 another drink". Explains why they were so rude to us (we were a diverse group). The food was okay but definitely over priced for the portions that are given. We also were rushed when we ordered and the waitress didn't have the best attitude when we asked questions about the food we wanted to order. We will definitely not ever go back to this place.

This is a cute spot slightly off the beaten path for breakfast. If you know what to order it's a hidden gem. Note: CASH ONLY. Have now been twice, once Mother's Day weekend and once during the week. Both times able to seat immediately though by the time we left it was full. They have a small outdoor section that is dog friendly and shaded. Service was great both times, attentive and not rushed. The food: Greek-town omelet 5/5 - this is the only thing my mom will get and I see why. It's fluffy and light with heavy amounts of toppings, spinach olive tomato and feta. She gets it with a side of tomatoes and is thrilled with the veg count for this meal. Always hot and a large portion. French toast 5/5 this is what keeps me coming back. They sometimes have specials (recently the bourbon peach) and there are several varieties always available. It's made with thick slices of challah and SO FLUFFY it's the stuff of clouds and dreams. They also have the option to do half or full portion which is great. I usually do a half order with a side of some sort and it's the perfect amount. The half order is also the perfect size to share as a table if everyone wants a few bites but has eyes for something else. We devoured before I could get a full picture. The eggs Benedict - 5/5 we had the Mexican Benedict and it was delightful. Spicy but not too hot, the chorizo was flavorful and the avocado was a nice creamy addition. Husband licked the plate clean. They have a variety on the menu to choose from and like the French toast sometimes have a special option as well. Have also tried the chicken and waffles, this was a miss for me. The waffle was solid but the chicken was underwhelming. Probably not the right thing to pick off this menu. I won't hold it against them though because everything else was so great. This is my new favorite breakfast spot but remember- CASH ONLY!

*Note: CASH ONLY* This restaurant has some really delicious and unique items on their menu. The Irish Benedict, although a little spicy, had an amazing range of flavors and was perfect before a day out in the city. The breakfast potatoes on the side were fantastic as well. The restaurant has a nice, trendy interior and a cute patio with umbrellas if you prefer to sit outside. It gets busy on weekends, especially out on the patio in the summer. I was surprised to find out that this is a cash-only restaurant, which I did not know until the bill came. Luckily, I was carrying cash (which i don't think most young people do these days). There is also an ATM inside.

The Breakfast Club never disappoints. The service is great, the staff is super nice, and the food is amazing. It is fresh all the time. They do have outdoor seating and indoor seating. Bathrooms inside. Customer parking in the back (heading south) and going north is free street parking (that is very limited) Highly recommend the stuffed French toast and the French fries. They are accepting cards now, they used to only be cash and they have an ATM.

I have had breakfast club on my list, so I was excited to try them out. I think this place is a pretty typical breakfast spot. I do think they could use another server, I had a discrepancy with my order and the server really did not want to admit to the mistake, but eventually made it right. This is a cash only business which is annoying and I think the pricing is a little on the high end for breakfast and the offerings. The venue is small, but once you order the food does come out really quick and is good. Probably not a place I would go out of my way to come back to, but I see the appeal for the those that are local.

Yummy breakfast, great servers, big portions. Waitress kept our coffee topped off. Limited parking in the back, but there is street parking. Small restaurant, so try beating the crowd and get their early. You can do half portions of the French toast, slices are huge.

I am generally reluctant these days to post too much that's negative about restaurants in the midst of a devastating pandemic. However, I would like to note that this particular restaurant does need to have a little bit of an attitude adjustment in terms of its welcoming environment. The place is indeed very welcoming aesthetically, it just seems like a nice place to plop down and have breakfast, either inside or outside. However, when we inquired as to where we need to check in to sit outside, the host was rather gruff and barked "you need to talk to me, you can't just sit outside." OK, not the end of the world, but it did take a while for us to put our order in, and when our order was finally put in, it took FOREVER to arrive and we were hungry and had a bit of a time crunch. Not much communication from the staff, no real apologies, just waiting and waiting and waiting. Again, I understand that staffing in restaurants is very challenging these days, but I would've appreciated a little bit more communication and a little bit of contrition (I certainly would not begrudge them given the circumstances of the world today). Anyway, the saving grace for this place is that I ordered a smoked salmon platter and it was excellent! Nice fresh locks, a nice bagel., Really good food. Back to the attitude thing, as we were leaving and had to make our way through a small throng of people, that same gruff host kind of grunted at us again instead of thanking us for our patronage. Clearly this place has a lot of potential, I would just like to see them work on those small gestures that can leave a matting impression on diners.

Great place - it's our go to for years now. Very quiet and homey, with lots of delicious options to choose from. And with the recent mimosa kit upgrade to the menu our visits got so much better Definitely recommend.

This is a very cute little restaurant with an excellent menu and above average service. I had the California Benedict without the bacon and the eggs were cooked exactly right and the English muffin toasted exactly right. The service was a little slow on refilling coffee and we had to ask for it twice But other than that the staff was friendly and courteous. The only downside was the fact that we had to wait outside for a table and it was raining because they don't have much waiting room inside. Also instead of giving us a buzzer or some way of contacting us outside they have to run out the door and look for you. The one annoying thing is that they only take cash. Yes there's an ATM machine right by the cashier but that's just an extra bothersome step for a customer. Further the sign that they only take cash is not really visible unless you happen to be sitting near it and we didn't even notice that it's cash only until we were well into our breakfast. It's fortunate that we had a credit card or ATM but if you don't it could be embarrassing. Everything considered it's a good choice for breakfast as long as you don't mind waiting a little while to get in and for refills and coffee.

This restaurant makes me feel so nice. The food was fantastic I recommend chorizo. Really good service. Coffee hit different in a good way. Butter actually whipped properly. Fluffiest French toast. Olay spicy was just right. I will be back. 10/10 thank you Friendly staff and takes the time to say hello.

We love this place! The food is great, the service is great. It's a family run place that really cares about serving great food and providing an exceptional dining experience...oh and the bloody mary's are fabulous .

Love this place. Been here plenty of time, and it's great in the summer. Extra seating outside, inside gets pretty crowded. Food is amazing hit and fresh every time. Bellinis are good too lol.

Was a bit hesitant based on the mixed reviews but our party of 6 girls on a hot muggy August Saturday were all 100% pleased!!! Your entire party needs to be present to put your name in. We got seated outside which was great. Food took a bit longer than normal to come out but everything was really good, hot and fresh! Waters were consistently being refilled. Would definitely come back again! I got the corned beef hash and it was well seasoned with crispy edges. I tried the carnitas benny and it was also very good. My friend's BLT looked amazing and the tator tots were also super crispy!

After many years I made it back on Sunday. The food was as delicious as I remembered, the place as cozy and welcoming as my memory of it. Service as always courteous, no rush kept the coffee coming. I had the open egg sandwich with bacon and avocado. The side of fried potatoes send me to heaven. My son ordered French toast with an egg, he too was very happy with it. His significant other had the crab egg sandwich. Such a feast we all had. Even though I live farther away I have to make it a point to frequent it more. Go and try it for yourself

Amazing food, yummy coffee, and tasty Bloody Marys are all one needs for a perfect brunch date. I had the breakfast club scramble with chorizo which was to die for in a skillet with lots of veggies (broccoli, onion, tomato, mushrooms), anyway eggs, and potatoes. The hubs had the Irish Benedict with corn beef hash and home fries which I kept taking bites of because it was so tasty! The place was so cute and packed. Close tables but very comfortable and homey feeling. The service was excellent and fast. They only take cash but they have their own fee less atm just for customers. Definitely glad we finally checked this place out and will definitely be back! PS this place is also available for delivery through uber eats and grub hub! Yes!

Favorite breakfast place in Chicago. Love the ambience and the food is always the best! The staff has been the same for decades and they make you feel like family. There are not a lot of places you can say that about anymore. Love the bloody marys and the eggs benedict!!! They also have great specials so don't forget to look at the specials board.

This place is so cute! We stopped in to grab a quick snack in between appointments. The place itself is sooo cute. I love the bar and the wine glass chandeliers. I was only here for about 10 minutes and had a cup of their chicken noodle soup. It was soooo good! I wish I got a whole bowl. The staff was really friendly. I'll definitely be back again!

I'll summarize: First we were not greeted at the door, complete chaos with the people at the front desk (older man and woman) who looked miserable and who I had to ask them to put my name down, even though I was standing directly in front of them and we even made eye contact. When we were seated we were told that they were short staffed and to please be patient. It seriously took 1.5 hours for us to get our food and there were VERY few tables. While everyone was pretty hangry, the older man and woman were just sitting in the front chatting it up not helping the kitchen staff, it all seemed a little absurd.

I was riding past and saw this small cute breakfast place with pink sign that stood out on the corner of Hubbard. I made a mental note in my mind for me to come and check this place out. I got up on Saturday and decide to come and have breakfast with my son. I was happy that it wasn't crowded when we arrived and it was easy to find parking. When we walked inside there was no one up in the front to meet and greet us. We were just standing there wondering if we should have seated ourselves. When an older guy popped up out of the corner from his seat and told us to take the table in the corner. Ok I thought to myself what a bit of an attitude. No Good Morning just straight to the point you can go sit over there in the corner section. Moving along. It took 10 minutes for someone to finally come over to our table. I kept looking around like is hello is someone going to come over and place our orders or bring us some ice cold water. Finally a guy behind the counter saw me looking around and came over with some glasses of water. He was polite and friendly. We placed our orders and was good to eat. The food arrived in a timely manner which was good despite the other situation. I ordered The Breakfast Club Skillet and My Son ordered the Chicken & Waffles. My food was just ok no need to even go into details with it. My sons Chicken & Waffles looked dried out and tired. The coffee was terrible. I didn't even finish it let alone get a refilled. FYI.... Cash Only but they do have a cash station machine right on the side by the register for you to take some cash out. This place is cute with some nice décor. I like the light fixtures in the top of the ceiling that was made out of wine bottles and glass milk bottles. Outside Patio on the side of the building. The food is just not that wonderful to me. The prices are fair.

I'm from New York and so far Chicago hasn't impressed with breakfast food and this place tops the list of piss poor breakfasts. The potatoes were gray and stale. The lack of efforts at these restaurants show the lack of regard for the times of how tight money can be now. Eating out is a luxury now and this place spit in my face. Breakfast Club Skillet

Needed some breakfast while running some errands. Would typically go to Meli Cafe or Palace Grill but wanted something different. Breakfast Club was fantastic! I got Mexican coffee and a Mexican Benedict with black beans. Super tasty, reasonably spicy, great service with a menu that's dense but not overwhelming. Nice neighborhood vibe but I bet it gets crazy busy on the weekends. Definitely coming back.

I would order from here semi regularly, like maybe 1x or 2x a month cause I live around corner. I order the same thing almost every time. They get my order correct 70% of the time. Understanding they get busy, but those aren't great odds. Food is fine, but there are other breakfast options in the area. Not in a huge rush to go back, given them repeatedly messing up my pickup order. Worth considering breakfast house on grand ave down the street.

This is my absolute favorite place to go after a long night shift! My coworker introduced me to this place a few years back and I'm obsessed. Not only is the food good, but they also serve liquor! Nothing like a breakfast club skillet paired with a pomegranate mimosa sprinkled with a sugar rim. I highly recommend. The place is tiny though AND cash only! Parking can be a bit tricky as well but you can park in the back right behind the restaurant :) P.S. Felix is our favorite server. We come so often that he knows our drink and food order by heart. I call that a win!

First, it's good to know this is a cash only restaurant. It has been the 20 years I've been eating here. They added a no-fee ATM machine by the cash register for first timers. If (like me) you're not a fan of these small ATM's, bring cash. The Breakfast Club is one of my favorite places for a weekend breakfast. They have an extensive menu with omelets, egg skillets, pancakes, waffles, Benedict's, potato pancakes, burritos and anything else you might crave. Lots of options for lunch and dinner, too. Great homemade soups. And a daily dinner special, like meatloaf. My friend and I had a late breakfast here on Sunday. She ordered the Greek omelet (one of my favorites). Tired of eggs, I got the hamburger and fries. The half pound of beef served on a fresh pretzel roll was cooked perfectly. You don't expect anything special in the way of fries at a restaurant like this, so it's always a treat when their fabulous fries arrive on my plate. Too much beef for me at one meal, so I took half home for dinner... but I ate every single fry. Double Oink! If you want to indulge, try the Bananas Foster French Toast. When there's four of us, we sometimes order one to split. Most of the employees have been here for a long time. Service is friendly and attentive. We must have had three coffee refills without asking. There's a small area with a few tables outside, some shielded from the sun. A lot of the parking spots are permit only, but we never have a problem finding a spot.

This is a cramped restaurant, the staff will try to up sell you on everything. The prices are expensive for what you get as well. Service was fine and the food was actually good. This place is also cash only as well. The male host will tell you there is no ATM fee which is true, on their end. However you will get hit with a fee from your bank a few days later. Also if your in the mood to start some sh*t walk in with a coffee and see how many people tell you NO outside beverages. If interested in a high pressure vibe breakfast this is your spot.

I've been going to the BC for breakfast for over 25 years. I love that the food remains consistently great over the years. My favorite is their eggs benedicts and their melt in your mouth bread pudding. Great people watching inside and out on the patio. Run don't walk to this gem of a spot. Tell Rebecca I sent you.

This spot is nestled away on a quiet corner in West Town, which means plenty of free street parking (a huge plus!), and it's probably why this place isn't crazy crowded (also a plus). Though they don't take reservations on the weekends, I came in with 6 others and we were seated within 5 minutes of arriving. Our waitress was extremely welcoming and very friendly. While grabbing coffee for the table, she recommended some drinks and plates that were more popular among customers. We got stuffed potato pancakes with bacon & cheese and bread pudding for the table as appetizers-- totally worth it, especially because they don't skimp on portion sizes! The pancakes weren't oily at all, and the bacon stayed crispy inside. The bread pudding wasn't overly sweet and not too eggy either. For a drink, I got the pink awning, which was pomegranate liqueur, mango vodka, and mint lemonade, but the only flavor I got was pomegranate and lemonade, which was a little disappointing. I also got the carnitas Benedict, and the star of this dish was the hollandaise sauce. Though really tasty, it was a little too heavy for a brunch plate, but if you really like pork this one is for you! I also ordered the stuffed French toast, which comes with cinnamon cream cheese and chopped walnuts, but I was too full to even try it and had to take the whole thing to-go. I was pleasantly surprised with how much I liked this place and I will definitely be going back soon!

It's pretty bleh. The waitress and staff seemed like they were rushing us from our table though which was annoying and the food was definitely missing seasoning. The food is cheap though so for the price I can't complain about lack of flavor too much. In short, if you want somewhat decent breakfast food go check em out.

I used to love this place until recently. I haven't been here since the pandemic. I recently dined here and was disappointed by their packaged syrup. I understand the reasoning for the individual packaged condiments. I do however feel if I'm paying for good French toast I want real maple syrup. This is the most terrible syrup you can give anyone, if you can even call it that. They can easily buy little containers to pour real maple syrup into. Thank God they had honey. I had to substitute my syrup for honey. Our waiter seem to really not care about the suggestion. He also dismissed the fact that we asked him to bring the French toast out later so we would have time to enjoy our omelettes. Really don't care to revisit.

On our way to 29Rooms, our Lyft driver drove past The Breakfast Club and told us we MUST check it out stating it had amazing brunch--the best. On Sunday before we left to travel back to Cincinnati, we decided to check out this hyped up restaurant. It sounded really cool--this 80's John Hughes Breakfast Club vibe. However, when we entered, it was more Parisian chic with chandeliers, chalk boards, flowers, etc. I have to admit, it was really cute. The waiter refilling the water was on it. He was the friendliest person we met there. We waited awhile for any service and the water waiter (I hate calling him that but I don't know how else to describe it) said he would get our waiter for us and he is so sorry. The service from our actual waiter was subpar and left me feeling like he was annoyed with us the whole time. The food was simply put...fine. I ordered the spinach and tomato frittata with potatoes and a blueberry scone with cream. Seasoning was lacking and I felt overall the food was bland. The scone which I was the most pumped for was extremely disappointing. The description in the menu made it sound like the best thing in the world but it was hard, not warm (as stated in the menu it would be served warm) and hardly any blueberries. There was one giant crater in the center where a few blueberries had died and shriveled but the scone tasted primarily like cinnamon. Saying cinnamon bread doesn't even do it because that actually sounds okay. This was more like a cinnamon brick. Literally no blueberry flavor. My husband did enjoy his steak and eggs plate although he said the steak was chewy. Overall, this place is meh, okay, fine. I would meet friends there for brunch if it was their choice but I am in no way itching to go back.
